Nigeria made Africa a Pawn in the World

February 4, 2020

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

It's ridiculously absurd to see many African scholars still upholding the Berlin Conference of 1885 as the reason why the black race is backward economically, socially and in infrastructure. Yes, Africa was partitioned against its natural boundaries by the European superpowers, but then, that’s a good 135 years ago. What stops the continent from warding off the western influence and growing as a people?

For Africa to evolve economically, socially and in infrastructure, it requires just one African country that can stand out as an example of a new face of Africa. When this dream country rises, other African countries can borrow a leaf from her. It's never possible for the whole of Africa to develop at the same time. Africa needs only one exemplary country for the development to spread.

Nigeria had the opportunity and everything needed to be that promising country but failed woefully like a lump of shit. Instead of building Africa, Nigeria helped to teach other African countries how to ruin Africa. And now, Africa has become the most backward continent in history.

Not only is Africa backward, but the continent has also systematically become a battleground for big economic powers in the world. Every economic power wants to give Africa loan because of the gains thereof. Just as slavery is modernized by the way of human trafficking, so also is colonization resuscitated and modernized by way of offering foreign aid and debt. Can Africa, especially Nigeria, settle all their debts? I don't think so.

Statistically, from 2000-2016, China lent about $125 billion to Africa. Now the giant of Africa, Nigeria, is one of the African countries heavily indebted to China. In addition, Nigeria is also borrowing money from the international capital market, rising to $10.2bn between February 2017 and November 2018.

The private sector (banks and the bond market) accounts for 32% of Africa’s $417bn external debt. Out of the 32%, Nigeria is responsible for 24%. Kenya follows Nigeria closely, plunging Africa into severe economic and infrastructural bondage.

The President of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari, paid deaf ears to the outcry that Nigeria is falling victim to debt and dependency to its Chinese creditors. He went further to accept a loan of $60bn from China thereby compounding Africa’s problem all the more. Currently, there's common anxiety on the continent over this loan from China.

Africa needs a nation that can confront and question the genuineness of external interference in Africa. A country that can ask some crucial questions like “why must Africa keep selling raw materials to these external bodies and end up importing manufactured products?”

Nigeria failed to address these issues because the North has been dictating what happens in the country. They have been holding the rest of the country down. The Yoruba would have been a better nation were it an independent state. The same is applicable to Biafra. Maybe these two would have been that promising nation in Africa which others would have learned from.

Call for Buhari to Resign, Abaribe Spoke the Mind of the People

February 4, 2020

By Princewill Akubumma | For Biafra Writers

The call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari by the Senate Minority leader, distinguished Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, received a huge thumbs-up from Nigerians. Following that call, many Nigerians took to social media to express their support, praising Abaribe for the guts to stand up to the despot in power.

Senator Abribe's call for Buhari's resignation on the floor of the Senate is justifiable, apt, and commendable. Expectantly, government puppets like Garba Shehu, Femi Adesina and a few other misguided northern senators of APC stock are already working hard to change the narrative, maligning the senator for saying the obvious. Shamefully even the Senate President, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan, who out to be neutral in sensitive issues, was seen trying to shout down the distinguished Senator.

Senator Abdullahi Adamu’s demand that Abaribe withdraws his statement is not only lugubrious, it also suggests the level of mess the Nigerian state is in. it points clear to the fact that this Senate is merely a rubber-stamp Senate.

To say the least, President Buhari has failed woefully in delivering his campaign promises in the past five years and has shown himself insensitive to the hardship and insecurity ravaging the country. He, therefore, should heed the advice of Senator Abaribe and resign honourably. Nigerians and Biafrans alike are solidly behind Abaribe.

Nigeria: The Complete Transformation of Boko Haram into Islamic Jihad Army

File Photo: Buhari and Buratai with Boko Haram flag

January 31, 2020

By Christopher O Evans | For Biafra Writers

At its inception Boko Haram targeted education. The terror group was convinced that western education is the worst evil imaginable. And the group's name derived from anti-western education name. The word “boko' means 'education' – western education here implied. 'Haram' means 'evil'. Thus Boko Haram means Western education is evil, or abominable.

With such concept in mind, they attacked educational institutions and all perceived products of western education. They cared not if one was a Christian or a Muslim. They abduct people – particularly school children and try to reeducate them in pure Islamic cultures. They attack government institutions, police posts, churches, markets, and even mosques.

And why do they attack mosques? They believe Muslims have greatly compromised the faith, having given in to western education and as a result, are failing to exert dominant control over the country. They have allowed infidels (Christians) foothold on political power, having allowed two Christian presidents to rule the country almost in a succession (Obasanjo and Jonathan). That was perceived as weakness on the part of Muslims. Hence Boko Haram emerged and sought to take over the country, establish true Islamic caliphate and reeducate citizens in Islamic laws and culture.

And Buhari was all for that. If ever he had issues with Boko Haram it is that the sect had no discrimination in their targets. It targeted everyone in sight, exploding bombs everywhere, even in mosques. Boko Haram was doing this to show their displeasure with the Muslim ummah for allowing infidel leadership for 13 years (Obasanjo 8, Jonathan 5). The worst of it all is the emergence of Ihejirika – a man from an outlawed tribe – as a General in the army, subsequently rising to become the chief of army staff, a position that allowed him to direct war against Boko Haram. As you know, Igbos were never allowed to reach the peak of military ranks in the Nigerian army. As they get to the level where they could be promoted to the top rank, they are immediately retired. Jonathan, out of naivety allowed an Igbo to break that ceiling and even become head of the armed forces. Alex Badeh and some other Christians led the ranks. It seems the cabal were losing grip on power. Jonathan had allowed due process to run its course. They had to do something quickly. So the activities of Boko Haram became intensified.

READ ALSO: Nigeria Government Financing Terror

Soon as Buhari took over he wasted no time in correcting what was perceived as problems. He ensured all heads of the military are Fulani Muslims. All heads of security agencies are Fulani Muslims. 90% of all federal appointments are Fulani Muslims. Many even are his close relatives.

Having first filled all important positions with his people (as demanded by Boko Haram) he then sent a list of ministerial portfolios to the senate. Igbos and other people of southern Nigeria were urged to be patient that the president still has many vacancies to fill.

Then he ordered the military to stop killing Boko Haram. Recall he had attacked former president Goodluck Jonathan while the latter pressed the battle against Boko Haram. He had said “killing Boko Haram members amounts to a declaration of war against the north.” I don't want to connect recent issues where SARS operatives raised alarm that men of the Nigeria military opened fire at them as they launched attack against Boko Haram. I don't even want to also mention Wadume, a notorious kidnapper arrested in the northeast early last year. The police moved him in handcuffs but got attacked by men of the Nigerian army who killed the police officers and released Wadume. Police have since rearrested Wadume, but the case is being handled in absolute secrecy. Truth is Wadume was not just a kidnapper, he was an agent of the cabal ruling Nigeria today. He is a hit-man on the government payroll. Soon as he was rearrested he alleged he worked for the government and was recently paid N13m for his services during 2019 elections.

Today Boko Haram no longer attacks mosques, police posts, or markets. They no longer abduct or kill Muslims either. They target only Christians now. The concept has changed from “western education is evil” to “death to all Christians.”
Today Boko Haram no longer attacks mosques, police posts, or markets. They no longer abduct or kill Muslims either. They target only Christians now. The concept has changed from “western education is evil” to “death to all Christians.”
The greatest achievement of Buhari’s presidency is that he successfully transformed Boko Haram from fighting against education, educational institutions and products of western education to a full loaded jihad army with one aim – total extermination of Christians. Just recently Rev. Lawan Andimi, CAN chairman, Michika Local government, was abducted and beheaded by Boko Haram. This week a Christian university student, Ropvil, was abducted on his way to class. He has been murdered too.

Report has it that Boko Haram now stops passenger buses, identify Christians and either kill them on the sport or take them away. Muslims get back in and move on. It wasn't so before Buhari came on board. As part of the deal with Boko Haram, Buhari government is freeing hundreds of Boko Haram commanders detained by the very naive Jonathan government. Many of them are being planted into the security services and given rapid promotions. Others are fused into Fulani militias otherwise known as Fulani herdsmen. Both Boko Haram and Fulani militias are now heavily financed by Buhari government in the name of building settlement homes for nomadic herders.  This the state of the nation.

Britain support for genocide remains the same, from Nigeria to Yemen

About 2 million civilians died in the Nigerian-Biafran war - many of them children -from starvation and disease. The war for Biafran independence lasted from July 6, 1967, to Jan. 15, 1970

January 23, 2020 | The Biafra Times

By Robert Inlakesh

More than 50 years now since the Biafran/Nigerian civil war, Britain is again backing a genocidal force against a national liberation movement. Showing that the British policy of endorsing weaponized man-made famine and indiscriminate bombings of civilians has remained exactly the same. Sending a strong message to the world that the UK government willingly participates in what many consider to be genocidal military adventurism.

On January 15, 1970, the Nigerian civil war officially ended after three years of untold horrors. The war was fought against Biafran separatists, who sought to fulfill their nation-state aspirations, and the Nigerian government, which was run by puppets installed by the British. Due to the British interests in Nigeria, the UK government instantly stood behind the Nigeria government forces.

The UK stood by as the first-ever fully televised, man-made famine was broadcast to the world. The tactic of famine was weaponized by the UK’s puppet government in Nigeria as a means of applying pressure on the Biafran opposition. In its entirety, the famine was estimated to have mass-murdered roughly around one million ethnic Igbo-Biafrans. Not only, however, was it famine that was used as a means of illegal warfare but also indiscriminate bombings of civilian population centers. To give an indication of how extreme the warfare was, within the space of the three-year war, Nigeria used more small arms ammunition than the Western-allied forces did in all of WWII.

The British link to the genocidal act of weaponized famine was clear to all, so much so that those suffering from severe malnutrition would be regularly referred to as caught Harold Wilson syndrome. Harold Wilson was the then-Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

What makes all of this worse, of course, is that since the Biafran war, Britain has not changed its mentality toward the global south. Allowing millions more to perish as Britain has stood behind illegal wars in all corners of the globe. Most notably now is Britain’s role in the ongoing Saudi-led coalition war on Yemen.

Over one hundred thousand people have been killed in the illegal, indiscriminate and targeted bombardments of civilians in Yemen. The UK has not only been implicated in this slaughter via their weapon sales and diplomatic support for Saudi Arabia, but has also admitted to directly playing a role in the coordination of strikes against the people of Yemen.

What is perhaps most disgraceful, on the part of the UK government, is the role they have played in justifying Saudi Arabia’s brutal blockade of Yemen, which has led to famine and outbreaks of diseases such as cholera. It will not be long before over one million people will have starved to death in Yemen and, depending upon how long this genocidal war against the people continues, perhaps many more than that.

If anything, due to the UK being allowed to get away with its role in the Genocide of Biafrans, it has been emboldened by the international community. This sense of entitlement and lack of regard for human rights has now paved the way for the British to commit a crime much greater in volume against the Yemeni people. Instead of a three-year war, this war has been currently ongoing for five years in Yemen, with many years of battles occurring even before this.

The only difference between now and 50 years ago is that despite the impact of social media and the global awareness of the ongoing genocide in Yemen, there is even more global apathy.

The only question now remaining is: how many more illegal wars will the UK get away with participating in before they are brought to justice? And for how long will the Union Jack stay submerged in the blood of those living — or dying — in lands far from their own.

The Bait of 2023 Presidency

APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visits President Muhammadu Buhari at State House, Abuja.

January 20, 2020

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu  | Biafra Writers

Recently, the social media has been awash with headlines bothering on the supposed tribe to produce the president come 2023 general elections in Nigeria. The north, understanding that both the East and the West are politically naïve, now uses the presidential seat as bait for the two sides.

While the North prides self as the giver (not forgetting the claim that they are born-to-rule), the Southeast and Southwest shamelessly beg to receive. The question of who owns Nigeria is thus elaborately answered. The North gets what they want not by begging but by declaration. Only the North does that.

The recent statement by the president about having no intention to run for a third term should be understood. A president who is serving out his second tenure making such utterance is quite significant. The statement, if properly analyzed, is suggestive of the fact that the North is not ready to abdicate the office of the presidency to either of the divides at the Southern hemisphere.

Recent events have shown that the North is using the presidency as bait to both Southeast and Southwest. What then could be their motive? What does the North stand to achieve in making the East and the West fight each other over the 2023 presidential slot?

RELATED NEWS: Biafra: Igbo Presidency, a Misplaced Priority

If the North succeeds in causing a serious rift between the two sides, many gains can be harvested from the conflict. One of such gains is the continuation of President Muhammadu Buhari in office. Secondly, the Southeast and Southwest can be presented to the world as incompetent people that shouldn’t near the seat of presidency in Nigeria. With that, the born to rule mentality that has been nursed in the mind of every Northerner will become established.

When one looks at this from the direction of conquest, it makes more sense. The North understands that embarking on conquest of these areas without first causing the two sides to fight each other will spell doom for them. There's no gain attached to any region becoming the president of the country. Presidency is beneficial to only the North because the North owns the country as made possible by the colonial masters.

I Regret Criticizing Nnamdi Kanu – Comrade Deji Adeyanju

January 14, 2020

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | Biafra Writers

Like many others before him, Comrade Deji Adeyanju has humbled himself to publically express regrets over his vile and malicious attacks on the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Deji has not been just a critic; he has been everything evil to Kanu and his self-determination seeking group, IPOB. A critic pokes holes in a man’s actions with fact-based alternative opinions, but Deji thrived on calumny, falsehood, malice, assault, hate and an obvious wish for the worst.

He spited Kanu time without number, calling him a coward for surviving the attack on his home by the murderous Nigerian military and escaping to Israel for recuperation. To him, Kanu would have stayed back and allow the blood-sucking Nigerian soldiers to kill him so that the Biafran dream would be stalled.

The vile-filled comrade went so low when filled with frustration, he did a video in which he expressed an unparalleled hatred for Nnamdi Kanu, showcasing his lying expertise in a manner that could send even Lia Mohammed and his protégé, Femi Adesina, into hiding. Deji’s frustration stemmed from Kanu’s call on Biafrans to boycott the 2019 general elections – a strategy that Obafemi Awolowo himself applied in the sixties.

Seeking to ridicule Kanu, he dared to compare self with him (Kanu), claiming that he (Deji) has staged several protests and been arrested many times by Nigerian police yet did not run out from the country. The embittered critic however turned a new leaf after receiving the beating of his life from ordinary almajiris on the street of Abuja and consequentially fleeing to Dubai.

Taking to his twitter handle, he wrote, “Let me specially thank Egbon @realFFK for rebuilding the bridge of friendship with my brother Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and yes, I expressed regrets over many of my criticism of him. It’s only in a Zoo that characters like Buhari are fit to be leaders. Nigeria never had it this bad before.”

“Let me specially thank Egbon @realFFK for rebuilding the bridge of friendship with my brother Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and yes, I expressed regrets over many of my criticism of him. It’s only in a Zoo that characters like Buhari are fit to be leaders. Nigeria never had it this bad before.”

The above tweet thus confirms Femi Fani-Kayode’s earlier assertion that Deji has apologized to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and that Kanu in turn accepted the apology. Pundits believe that having realized the hopelessness of the animal kingdom called Nigeria, Deji, like Omoyele Sowere, will stand for justice even as his hatred for Biafra remains.

The Real Reasons Behind Igbo Leaders’ Antipathy to Sit-at-home Order

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | Biafra Writers

May 10, 2019

The Nsukka born movie star, barrister Kenneth Okonkwo, popularly known as Andy Okeke, is a well-known actor. We all remember when he joined politics and wanted to run for the governorship seat of Enugwu state. He took on IPOB and its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, launching tirades here and there, and even referring to mother Biafra as dead. Barrister Okonkwo did not stop there, he tried to exonerate Fulani herdsmen from the incessant killings going on in lower Benue and many other parts of Biafra land, arguing that the real culprits came from Libya – a similar line spun by late President Muhammadu Buhari.

It will be interesting to note that prior to his political aspiration, barrister Kenneth Okonkwo never uttered any word against Biafra nor did he offer any defense on behalf of the murderous Fulani herders. It thus becomes obvious that his reason for discrediting Biafra, disparaging IPOB and defending the blood-sucking demons in the guise of herders is simply to endear himself to the caliphate so that he could be crowned the next governor of Enugwu state.

Our dear barrister was late however. Governor Ugwuanyi has sealed the deal earlier when he brought the Sultan of Sokoto to Nsukka, shutting down the entire city in the Jihadist’s honour. It did not matter to the governor that it was the Sultan’s foot soldiers that mascaraed over two hundred and fifty villagers at Nimbo, plunging the entire Nsukka land into agony and panic. His political interest weighs more than the people’s feelings, and so he had brought the Islamic irredentist to the sorrowful land of Nsukka to consolidate his political grip, adding insult to the injury by forcing all activities to a stop in honour of the visiting Islamist.

Recall that after the Nimbo mayhem, the governor had appeared, shed crocodile tears, declared two days fasting and prayers, and then jetted off to Abuja to laugh and drink tea with the president. Even as the chief security officer of the state, he couldn’t do more than declare fasting and prayers. Yes he couldn’t lift a finger because he truly has no power of his own; his allegiance being to the caliphate, and his actions teleguided. It was inconceivable to touch the herders. His best bet was what he did – fly to Abuja to crawl on the floor, reminding the caliphate his allegiance is still with them.

When Orji Uzor Kalu was caught in EFFC net, he offered to help stall the agitation for Biafra in exchange for being let off the hook. A deal was struck and straight away he went to Kuje Prison to persuade the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra to drop the agitation. He met a brick wall, and as pressure piled on him, he began to express his dislike to the Biafra idea, telling the press that Igbos prefer presidency to Biafra. It did not matter to him that Biafra is not Igbo affair, and that while Igbo is Biafra, Biafra is not exclusively Igbo.

We all remember how, after the military invasion of Nnamdi Kanu’s house, Orji Uzor Kalu came out in a TV program to claim that he has an intelligent report that Nnamdi Kanu has escaped to London using Malaysian route. At the said time, Kanu was incommunicado as a result of injuries sustained during the invasion and the world was beginning to ask question. Orji Uzor Kanu never condemned the killing of armless Biafra protesters nor the invasion of Nnamdi Kanu’s house, but was quick to run to the press to lie about Kanu’s whereabouts.

Now, having pleased the caliphate enough to ward off the EFCC, Orji Kalu decided to push his luck further by running for the senate. The political geometry was a simple one: promise the caliphate he will employ his power and influence as a senator to antagonize IPOB. His earlier antipathy against Biafra now speaking for him, the caliphate closed the deal and a senatorial ticket was given. The cyberspace is awash with pictorial evidences of Orji Uzor Kalu visiting the caliphate for political clearance.

In 2017 Anambara state election, the former aviation minister, Osita Chidoka, desired the seat of Anambara state governor. Understanding that the political coordinates of the East are designed in the North, Chidoka journeyed to the northern hemisphere to pledge allegiance. Conditions were given and upon return, Chidoka, who was earlier perceived as pro Biafra, lost his fiber and capitulated.

Governor Willie Obiano came to power under APGA – a supposedly Igbo party. But realizing he could, through the Hausa/Fulani controlled Judiciary, be ejected any time just as Ngige was, Obiano ran to North to pledge allegiance to the caliphate. Coming from an Igbo party, he needed to do more than a mere pledge to be taken serious. And so, he gave the murderous Nigerian military and police a free hand to kill as many IPOB members as they would please. This did not only ensure a full term spell, it as well opened the door for further negotiations. He returned to the North, and his antecedent now speaking in his favour, a deal was sealed for a second term. Upon return to office, he offered land to Myetti Allah and directed his government, through the State Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, C-Don Adinuba, to rally against IPOB’s call for sit-at-home in honour of Fallen Biafran heroes.

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state, against the people’s yearning, refused to ban the murderous Fulani herdsmen operation in the state, but was quick to pronounce IPOB proscribed. Tutored by the man who handed power over to him, Martin Elechi, Umahi has continually done the caliphate’s bidding to stay in office. He was reported to have promised the caliphate that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will never bring the message of Biafra restoration to his state, and attempted to enforce that with military and police cordons. Well, Kanu broke the military barriers and moved into Ebonyi.

While we will not waste time on Rochas Okorocha who, findings indicate, was actually fathered by an Hausa man, it will be interesting to look at his son in-law, Uche Nwoso, who he unsuccessfully tried to enthrone. As the crisis between Rochas and the national chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshomole, deepened, and Uche was forced to seek ticket in another party, the odds against him becoming clearer, Uche wrote a letter of allegiance to the caliphate. In the leaked letter, the intending governor promised the caliphate to, among other things, end the agitation for Biafra.

The scenarios presented above offer great insight to the real reason behind the opposition to IPOB’s sit-at-home call. Contrary to the economic plight and constitutional rights those antagonizing the 30th May sit-at-home call try to wave at our face, the real reason behind their disruptive engagements is their allegiance to the caliphate. The Nigerian political landscape is drawn by the caliphate, and so Igbo political players would do anything to curry political favour from them.

The renewed agitation for Biafra spearheaded by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a serious threat to the caliphate. A well-heeded sit-at-home call as has been recorded in recent years demonstrates oneness, and oneness is on its own a big threat to the occupational forces. The caliphate doesn’t want it, and so they threaten Igbo political office holders and aspirants with ejection if they don’t stop the program. The non-thinking slavish Igbo politicians then find pretexts to thwart the scheme. But will the interest of a few self-seeking political players override the collective will of the people? 30th May will tell.

Determined attempt by anti-Biafran elements to defame IPOB

May 8, 2019

Victoria. O. C. Agangan | For Biafra Writers

It has become rather imperative that this ignorance prevalent among our people be addressed before it eats deep into the fabrics of our living and into the common struggle we have strenuously built over the years.

There’s a strange fire being lit in the path of our collective struggle. Recall that it was our supposed elders and political leaders who maliciously decided to proscribe IPOB and fraudulently tagged it, a terrorist group.

Thankfully, however, their efforts failed and the world rejected the proscription, confirming that IPOB is the most organized and peaceful freedom fighters.

Recall that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) – Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was unlawfully incarcerated in Abuja but he maintained his stance of a political independence for Biafra. Recall also that he stood up to Justice Binta Nyako, making it clear to her that she is completely prejudiced and therefore does not attract any confidence in her court and judgment.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB do not deal with arms nor ammunition. Regardless of their peaceful approach, during the hideous python dance by the murderous army, IPOB suffered huge casualties. Many innocent lives of IPOB members were lost and several others critically injured.

These killers have always been the anti-Biafran elements who do not want to institute equity and justice. How then do they propagate the fallacy about Prophet Anthony Nwoko's death? It is clear that they have always struggled to malign IPOB and its leadership but for which they have always failed. The same way, this hideous charade is dead on arrival as their evil plot has totally failed.

READ ALSO: IPOB Distance Itself From Gruesome Murder of Prophet Nwoko, Decries Recent Killings and Abductions Across Biafraland

They have watched youths, children, fathers, and mothers of Biafra being mowed down by the Nigerian government and have not summoned the courage to speak against this atrocities. Now they have colluded with the same terrorist regime of the Nigerian government to malign IPOB.

Why is the Nigerian government and its agents desperately seeking to undermine IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu? Because their atrocities are being brought to lime light. They have levied all sorts of allegations against IPOB and Kanu in order to stop IPOB from exposing the fraud that is Nigeria but IPOB has continued to soar higher like the eagle.

IPOB has remained a non-violent group. They do not kill, hence these malicious actors should know that their efforts are in vain because IPOB cannot be distracted from its focus.

Dim Ojukwu began this journey and Mazi Kanu has taken up this mantle to bring it to its successful conclusion. Those who are fuelled by envy and greed should realize they do so in vain and should as a matter of urgency retrace their steps.

Their problems are numerous and Kanu and IPOB is none of them. Those involved should face their grievous problems and stop being influenced by greed and jealousy. IPOB remains on the right path to reclaim the stolen mandate of the Biafran people. IPOB remains in the right path to demand that the rights of the Biafran people to independence be respected. It demands that justice and equity be served for the betterment of humanity.

All misguided elements are hereby advised to ponder conscientiously and hence yield to reason.

Dokubo and his Ojukwu story

April 24, 2019

David Umahi | For Biafra Writers

Each time Asari Dokubo, the Niger Delta riverine criminal, wants to give himself out as someone important in the Biafra struggle; he always rehashes the story of how he brought General Odumegwu Ojukwu to Rivers State.

The late General was Biafran’s foremost war leader: intellectual par excellence, an urbane and articulate leader. Ojukwu was the first African graduate from the prestigious Oxford University and the delight of journalists. He held a Master’s Degree from the institution. He was the son of Africa’s foremost multi-millionaire – Louis Ojukwu – and the first indigenous graduate officer of the Nigerian Army.

But who is Asari Dokubo? He is what they call a militant, in other words, an armed criminal. He dropped out from school and went into illegal crude oil bunkering; illegal fuel refinery; pipeline vandalization; and later – the kidnapping of expatriates. He has once been arrested by Nigerian government from where he struck some bargain that has come to manifest in several ways.

Asari Dokubo is an Islam mole in Biafraland. He was trained Islamists and installed in Biafraland to commence the work of Islamisation of Biafraland. He was supposed to convert and train some locales, and then begin to perpetrate the kind of atrocities that Boko Haram has been perpetrating in the North-eastern part of the country. But Biafrans abhor Islam, and so it had not been easy for him to recruit enough criminals of his kind to commence the Boko Haram-type terrorism in Biafraland.
Now, each time this Dokubo (a school dropout) rehashes his Ojukwu story, he always thought he is making quite an impression with Biafrans, especially those of Igbo extraction. Little does he know that he cuts no ice with them.

READ ALSO: Nnamdi Kanu, a Reincarnation of the Biblical Moses; the Comparative Analysis

He does not know that Biafrans have seen through him, his assignment and his tricks. Biafrans already know that whatever thing Dokubo did was to advance his own assignments. For instance, Biafrans know that his association with Ojukwu was to alarm the Nigerian authorities that have ever been fearful of Biafran nationalities working together. His knew it would make them reach out to him, he achieved it.

When Henry Okah was leading the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), he saw another opportunity and drew close to him. Eventually, threw his betrayal, Okah was jailed in South Africa through manipulation of the Fulani oligarchy. Before this time, Dokubo has also done so with Ateke Tom, before he (Tom) chose to collect amnesty to escape the traps set for him by Dokubo and the Nigerian government.

Words getting to us together today shows that the raiding of Tom’s abode by the Nigerian Army, during the last scam called Nigerian 2019 elections, was Dokubo’s handwork.
As things stand now, every Biafran worth his name knows that Dokubo coming close to IPOB was just a trick to get the Nigerian government to seek him out for another round of Bribery. And now that has happened, and he is trying to help them foist a murder charge on IPOB on the pages of Nigerian newspapers and in the social media. But his plans are dead on arrival because Biafrans know his tricks; and in addition, the world knows that IPOB is the largest non-violent freedom-fighting groups in the world.

Why Asari Dokubo is Attacking Nnamdi Kanu

April 24, 2019

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | Biafra Writers

In his efforts to eliminate pipeline vandalism and other related terror activities like kidnapping of expatriate oil workers in the Niger Delta region, late President Umaru Musa Yar’adua instituted amnesty. As part of the incentives, the federal government made massive cash offer to Asari Dokubo and other militant leaders in the Niger Delta.

Particularly, Asari Dokubo was offered $10 million annually under the guise of Pipeline Security Protection fee, having been awarded the contract to protect Rivers state pipelines and creeks his boys have been vandalizing in addition to kidnapping workers and killing guards. That contract was made possible through the mediation of then Vice President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, who not only hailed from the same region but is also Asari’s kinsman. That mouthwatering contract ran successfully till 2015 when late President Muhammadu Buhari came to power.

Recall Asari’s restiveness in the buildup to 2015 elections and all the threats he issued to the Northern hegemony as regards the plot to dethrone President Goodluck. At that time, many, myself inclusive, thought it a brotherly-concern affair. How wrong we were. Dude, we now realize was concerned of his pipeline contract and not brother Jonathan’s success.

Well, all his threats were empty; Hausa/Fulani scared brother Jonathan out of office and power returned to North untimely. Upon assuming office, late Muhammadu Buhari terminated the pipeline contract awarded to Asari Dokubo. As time progressed, with no block money flowing in as it used to, the realities of Jonathan’s woe came hard on the militant-turned pipeline contractor. He then sought a viable platform with which he can combat the federal government. Having lost relevance in Niger Delta Volunteer Force for his treachery, Asari saw in Biafra agitation a more potent tool to get back to the Buhari government. He then declared himself a Biafran, throwing in with IPOB – the only potent and engaging group on freedom quest.

IPOB received him with open arms, relishing the perceived steam he would add to the struggle. Asari soon cooked up stories of projects, convincing IPOB leadership will help advance the struggle. The unsuspecting leadership of IPOB gladly availed him all the logistics he demanded – money and other material things. Asari didn’t follow through; he produced excuses in lieu of results.

Brother Asari made several videos, publicly and vehemently reiterating his support for the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The public would remember the video in which he said that some people are telling him that he is following Nnamdi Kanu, doing boy-boy for him and that he said to them “if Nnamdi Kanu is doing better than me in the Biafra restoration project, why won’t I follow him?” By that response, Asari admits Kanu is doing better than him in our quest for freedom. Not that his admission means much, for that fact is glaring even to the blind, but it straightens record as being recounted today.

Not willing to go into arms struggle – at least for now – IPOB leadership adopted the principle of civil disobedience known to have been used effectively in India by Mahatma Gandhi, in the US by Martin Luther King Junior, in Croatia, South Africa (Soweto), and many other parts of the world who have sought self-determination or equal rights as Luther’s case in the US was. IPOB declared and stood on election boycott with the sole aim of getting the Nigerian state to play ball as regards the group’s demand for a referendum date. It should be recalled that this principle of election boycott garnered serious momentum in 2017 toward the Anambra state governorship election, so serious that even in the face of Operation Python Dance, the illegal and malicious proscription of IPOB, and the attendant persecution of the group, overwhelming majority of Anambra indigenes complied to it – a situation that left the irredeemably corrupt political class no choice than to doctor results, agreeing among themselves not to challenge anything in court. Asari Dokubo didn’t attack Nnamdi Kanu at this time, nor did he in any way condemn the idea of boycotting the election.

Then approached the 2019 general elections.  Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani, now impersonating late President Buhari, was presented for the election by APC cabal headed by Abba Kyari. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, prostituting himself politically, returned to PDP and somehow managed to emerge its flag bearer.  Executing political wisdom however, he picked an Igbo man for vice. With that choice, he hoped to harvest Biafra (South East/South South) votes, knowing how disenchanted the region is with the Buhari administration. Certain to divide the votes in North, with Biafra vote in his custody, he is certain to cruise to victory. Brother Asari recognized this, and seeing in Atiku’s victory a window of opportunity in regaining his lost millions of dollar pipeline contract, threw in with Atiku at once. But then, there stood an obstacle on the way: IPOB’s call for election boycott.

The manifestation of IPOB’s call for election boycott as a giant stumbling block took off the sheep’s clothing the wolf has been donning. The attack began. Brother Asari lost every sense of caution and loyalty to IPOB, launching tirades first at IPOB as a body, and then specifically at Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He first accused him of working for Buhari’s (Jubril) reelection, arguing that the boycott will benefit the incumbent administration. If Asari Dokubo’s opposition to the election boycott was an innocent one, why didn’t he speak up at the buildup to 2017 Anambra state election? And if not sheer vile or drunkenness as the case might be, how would anyone insinuate that Nnamdi Kanu was working for the return of an administration that murdered thousands of his followers, jailed him for two years, invaded his house with sophisticated war armaments, killing twenty-eight of his men in the process and forcing him and his parents into exile? Come to that, what even informed the notion that Biafrans boycotting the election will benefit the incumbent government? Is brother Asari properly schooled? If he and the rest of the treacherous folks in our land (the likes of Nnia Nwodo and our governors) had joined forces with IPOB in the boycott effort and had successfully grounded Biafra land, would that not have triggered a cascade of events that will culminate in Biafra’s independence?

Having made himself a stench to his own people and opened the door for the enemy to come in, brother Asari positioned himself for deals. The enemy did the expected.  Now reeling in the disappointment Atiku’s loss orchestrated and oared on by the money the caliphate threw at him, brother Asari, upped his attacks on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. His latest defamatory onslaught is the accusation that the Biafra leader killed a little-known self-acclaimed prophet, Anthony Nwoko. Although it’s now an open secret that the DSS masterminded the killing of the poor fellow to besmear Kanu, the poor man has been a critic of the Biafran leader, Asari Dokubo carried on with the calumny.

While we will not throw the dirty water with the child, may I use this medium to appeal to brother Asari to consider the end of our other brothers who have trodden the path he is now on – the likes of Ken Saro Wiwa and Isaac Adaka Boro – and retrace his steps.

Nnamdi Kanu, a Reincarnation of the Biblical Moses; the Comparative Analysis

April 23, 2019

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

Saint Luke, the author of the two biblical books – The Gospel According to Saint Luke, and Acts of the Apostles – claimed to have witnessed the events of Yahwehyeshua (Jesus). In the light of Luke’s assertion, it is pertinent to note that the Bible was written by historians who witnessed or gathered information about what truly transpired. Of course, every written material is inspired by a spirit – good or bad. Good books are inspired by the holy (good) spirit, while bad ones – materials aimed at destroying people – are inspired by an evil (bad) spirit.

As believed by scholars around the globe, but for The Gospel According to Matthew, no other book of The New Testament was actually written by the disciples. Instead, the communities they instituted wrote the books and titled them after the disciples as a commemoration.  Those days, information was passed orally and only important documents were in written texts.

The fact that The New Testament was written 200-400 years after the resurrection of the Son of Man planted doubt in people’s mind as regards the authenticity of biblical stories. This generation, not willing to repeat such mistake, has begun to pen down events as they happen around Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for the unborn.

Proofs of Kanu’s Messianic Nature:
When the powers that be sought to cut short his life and abort his mission on earth, the charismatic leader of Biafra miraculously escaped. He remained incommunicado for thirteen good months after which he made a public appearance in the holy land of Israel. The possibility of his escape and journey to the land of Israel unseen and without passport (as both his British and Nigerian passports were seized by Nigerian government) stirred a mysterious air around him, even leading some to accuse him of diabolism … reminiscence of Jesus being called demon possessed.

It is worthy of note that after his historic reappearance on that fateful day, 19th October 2018, at the Wailing Wall of the City of David, Jerusalem, a crucial sign occurred in Israel twelve days later, bearing witness to his Messianic mission. On Wednesday the 31st of October, 2018, as reported by Times of Israel and other news outlets around the globe, a coin-marked snake appeared in the Western Wall of Jerusalem attempting to devour a dove. It failed, however.

That incident was of such significance that Jewish rabbis interpreted it as a sign of the coming of a Messiah and of freedom. That this event took place exactly on the twelfth day of Kanu’s appearance at the Wailing Wall is of another great significance. Analysis from different quarters interpreted it as signaling the completion of the twelve tribes of Israel. Biafra being a lost tribe of Israel has been gifted a Messiah who will triumph over all forces to set free her.

In Jewish eschatology, the term Mashiach or “Messiah” refers to a future Jewish king from the Davidic line that is expected to be anointed with holy oil. Israel’s traditional views hold that the Messiah will be descended through the line of King David, and will gather the Jews back into the Land of Israel, usher in an era of peace, and build the Third Temple. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his radio broadcasts has been hammering on building a magnificent temple for Chukwu Abiama (Hashem) in Biafra. The third temple spoken of in the Bible, no doubt, is to be built in Biafra – a bloodline of Israel.

The Similarities:
Just as John the Baptist was seen as the reincarnation of Prophet Elijah (Matthew 11:13-14), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is today regarded as the reincarnation of Moses. The feat of dividing the Red Sea is till today a mystery no one in history has replicated. In Nnamdi Kanu’s case, a similar mystery has been observed: the sun follows him wherever he goes, bearing witness to his divine mission on earth. Critics have resorted to defamation, spinning the yarn that the Biafran leader uses diabolic means to draw the sun. The question, however, is: how come no magician or shaman in history has achieved that feat?

Moses, an Israelite by birth, was also an Egyptian citizen. Comparatively, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, a Biafran by birth, is also a British citizen. While Moses grew up in Egypt, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, although born and bred in Biafra, has lived most of his life in Britain. As Egypt were an enemy and oppressor of Israel, so also is Britain an enemy and oppressor of Biafra (although currently orchestrating their oppression through the Nigerian entity). Furthermore, Moses was a prince, Nnamdi Kanu is a prince.

Moses was envied and antagonized by Korah, Dathan, and Abiram. Nnamdi Kanu is envied and antagonized by Nnia Nwodo (president of the proscribed Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohaneze Ndigbo), Okezie Ikpeazu, Dave Umahi, and the likes. Moses was accused of exalting himself above the assembly of the Lord. Nigerian clergy, spun by envy and shear vile, accuse Kanu of exalting himself above Jesus. We shall not forget that even Jesus himself was accused by the then clergy of equating himself with God. Well, the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, it now looks obvious, is a fulfillment of yet another of Nostradamus’s prophesies. Long live Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, God-sent liberator of the black race.

How Igbo Politicians Destroyed Atiku’s Chances; The Nnamdi Kanu Effect

April 18, 2019

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | For Biafra Writers

Recall that at the reappearance of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Jerusalem after thirteen months of incommunicado – a depressing period forced upon him by the military invasion of his home aimed at silencing him forever – IPOB’s primary occupation was the unmasking of the Sudanese impostor in Aso Rock, Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani who, by the design of the Fulani cabal spearheaded by Abba Kyari, has been impersonating the late president, Muhammadu Buhari, since the first half of 2017. Yes, IPOB stood on its declaration of election boycott – a principle adopted and followed since 2015. Nevertheless, the principal was never targeted at any individual or political party; it was solely meant to force Nigeria’s hand in the group’s demand for a referendum date. We will reconnect to this later.

At the buildup to the 2019 Nigeria election, a day or two after the call-off of election boycott by the supreme leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), a friend asked me, “Now that your leader has called off the boycott, who do you folks support in the presidential race?” I told my friend that IPOB has no candidate and that our leader merely called off our official stand on boycott, freeing whosoever wants to participate to do so. I told him that our leader asked members who would like to vote to go for the candidate of their choice. My friend hailed the wisdom in the freewill availed members and then, in his characteristic smartness, probed further, “You folks in IPOB are privy to intelligent reports; who do your secret intelligence inform will emerge winner in the presidential poll?” I laughed – the type locally dubbed “laughing in Latin.” Did my friend really think if I had any intelligent report I was going to share it with him? If I did, then I am not worth being confided in. In fact, it would amount to treachery. I shook my head, laughed again “in Latin” and said to him, “Brother, I have no intelligent report on that. But if asked my personal assessment, then I will say Jubril will be returned to power, for the only opportunity Atiku had is the Jubril Factor, but then, PDP spoilt that chance when they attacked IPOB and its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”

Elucidating, I explained that the APC cabal are set to rig their way back to the presidential villa, and will not relinquish power except something monumental is unleashed on them. To claim power from them, therefore, Atiku would have to threaten them with telling Nigerians that Kanu is right about Jubril, relaying every piece of information he has on the impersonation plot, and then, putting the final nail in the coffin by demanding the impostor’s DNA test.

My friend argued the typical Nigerian way, doubting the verisimilitude of the Jubril saga and playing down the seriousness of Atiku’s background. Well, today things are unfolding and he is getting wiser.

As mentioned earlier in the opening paragraph, IPOB was focusing on the unmasking of Jubril until PDP, mainly the Igbo stalwarts, fearing that Kanu’s call for election boycott will ground the entire Biafra land, launched serious verbal attacks on IPOB and its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Using different media platforms, these self-serving politicians whose primary concern is political appointments and contracts, did all they could to discredit the IPOB leader and mislead the poor masses on the potency of election boycott and the attendant gains. Taking advantage of the hunger in the land, they recruited thousands of unemployed youths who took to social media, ridiculing not just the idea of election boycott, but also the originator, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and his free-state agitating group, IPOB. The misery of hunger laced in mental ineptitude really showcased its lethalness in black African societies as these recruited poor minds fought dirty against the very thing that was meant to save them.

As lyrically recited by the late reggae legend, Robert Nesta Marley, an ancient saying asserts, “to every little action, there is a reaction.” Late iconic scientist, Isaac Newton, corroborated this when in his Third Law of Motion he stated, “Action and reaction are equal and opposite.” The uncharitable actions of Igbo PDP chieftains drew the ire of IPOB, placing the group’s attention heavily on the party and its flag bearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. Their chapter was then opened and in the process, the bullet that killed Atiku’s dream was fired. Atiku’s background was dug out – a background that constitutionally robs him of every hope of emerging Nigeria’s number one citizen.

Returning blow for blow, the enigmatic leader of Indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, shocked the world with Atiku’s place of birth, date of birth, and the very process that made him a Nigerian citizen, juxtaposing these revelations with the constitutional provisions on one becoming the president of Nigeria. Born in 1946 in Jada, a town belonging to Northern Cameron, Atiku became a Nigerian through a plebiscite held in 1961. But the Nigeria constitution clearly states that to qualify to run for the office of the president, one must be a Nigerian by birth.

The point here is not being a citizen or not as most people mistakenly argue, the point is being born a citizen or not. Atiku and his people became citizens after the plebiscite of 1961, no doubt. But Atiku was born before that plebiscite, meaning he was not born a Nigerian, and Nigerian constitution clearly spelt one must be born a Nigerian to qualify for its most coveted political seat. It is rather lugubrious that many a legal practicing folk are still in the dark as regards this matter, but then, education in Nigeria is a scam. The difference between Atiku and his kids should be noted, however, for while his children are born Nigerians, Atiku is not.

At the time of Kanu’s revelation, the APC power players who it has now come to be known, are ardent listeners of Radio Biafra, recognizing the potency of this weapon, took it into their arsenal but made no public reference to it, waiting patiently for the right time to strike. Fully equipped now, the cabal went into the election orchestrating the most monumental of all election frauds. They did not bother if it is glaring to the world or not; they already have a lethal weapon with which to quell any form of contention – the ineligibility of Atiku to run for the presidency, a constitutional weapon served them by Nnamdi Kanu.

It should be noted that had PDP not attacked IPOB, Kanu wouldn’t have dug out Atiku’s background in relation to the constitutional provisions, and if he hadn’t dug that out, the APC would have been sparing in their rigging, and if they had been sparing in their rigging, Atiku certainly would have emerged winner. And if in their desperation, APC had still gone on with massive rigging, Atiku, with all the shreds of evidence at his disposal, would have reclaimed victory at the tribunal as the APC wouldn’t have been in possession of such lethal arsenal now being employed to stop him. But the Igbo politicians in PDP did the damage. It was them that, cuing behind Peter Obi and fearing that Kanu’s call for boycott would greatly undermine their chances, launched diatribes at the IPOB leader – one mistake too many, for that single action midwifed the firing of the ferret that sunk Atiku totally.
