IPOB PRESS RELEASE: IPOB WORLDWIDE REJECT ANY SURGERY ON OUR LEADER INSIDE DSS DUNGEON.

12th June , 2023

This is the sequel to the deteriorating health condition of our leader Mazi Nnamdi KANU and the proposed ear surgery by Nigeria Government and DSS medical team. IPOB completely rejects any ill-concieved surgery on our leader, Mazi Nnamdi KANU, the leader of IPOB, who has been illegally and unconstitutionally detained in DSS  dungeon for 2 years without charge. We reiterate that he should be released to his personal physicians who will perform the prescribed ear surgery on him.

We want to draw the attention of IPOB worldwide, all  lovers of freedom and lovers of Biafra on the dangerous plans to neutralize Mazi Nnamdi Kanu through ear surgery by the enemies on DSS medical team.

It's obvious that DSS has intentions to eliminate our leader through this  ill-conceived ear surgery. That's why they refused to allow Mazi Nnamdi KANU access to his personal and trusted physicians.

Therefore, we reject any DSS or Nigeria Government sponsored surgery on our leader while he is still being detained illegally in solitary confinement.

It's true that our leader requires urgent ear surgery from the injury the Nigeria Agents inflicted on him when he was kidnapped and tortured in Kenya however, such surgery will not take place while he is still inside DSS dungeon. What will happen if he develops any medical complications during or after the surgery in the detention facilities? Mazi Nnamdi KANU must be unconditionally released as the courts ordered or released on medical grounds to attend to his health.

If Nigerian DSS could not find a qualified ENT doctor to handle Buhari’s ear infections during his eight years in office, how come DSS suddenly have qualified ENT doctors in their team to carry out ear surgery on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? The same way Buhari was a leader of a nation is the same way Mazi Nnamdi KANU is a leader of 75m people of Biafra Nation. IPOB is capable of taking our leader to any part of the world for the best medical services.

We, therefore, once again call on the Nigeria Government and DSS to release Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu KANU. If anything untoward happens to him, they will dance to any tune IPOB will play for them. We warn them with their  cohorts who are showcasing some doctors as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's doctors to cease and desist.

We urge Biafrans to oppose the planned ear surgery on Mazi Nnamdi KANU as planned by Nigeria Government and DSS agents.

There are serious indications that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will not make it alive if he goes into any operation under the enemies supervision. Mazi Chinasa Nworu will be coming on the air by the weekend to speak on this serious subject and the risk associated with the enemy's planned ear surgery on our leader.

Let the Nigeria Government and DSS release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to his personal physicians to handle the ear surgery. DSS, who were responsible for his ear injury through the brutal torture, can not be trusted to heal him by surgery on the same ear.  Moreso, DSS must not force or medically subdue our leader in order to perform any surgery on him because that will be a declaration of war on Biafrans. If they want to see, let them try such rubbish. Mazi Nnamdi KANU needs urgent surgery, and the only option acceptable to us IPOB worldwide is his unconditional release as ordered by the courts or release on medical grounds to his personal physicians for the said ear surgery.

We call on IPOB and MNK legal teams both home and abroad to reject the Nigeria Government's proposed ear surgery on Mazi Nnamdi KANU. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s wife and his siblings must reject such an offer, too.  Mazi Nnamdi KANU is the leader of over 75 million indigenous people of Biafra, and his health is a national concern that must not be handled carelessly. DSS and those  parading doctors in Abuja should know that Mazi Nnamdi KANU is no longer owned by the KANU family. He is now the property of 75 million Biafran people.

In summary, IPOB, Ndigbo, and Biafrans say NO EAR SURGERY on our leader, Mazi Nnamdi KANU, by the Nigeria Government, DSS, or any other groups' medical team while he is still being illegally detained inside DSS dungeon. Instead, we call for his release from illegal detention for his private ENT doctors to handle the ear surgery.

ESN: Kanu Culturally and Constitutionally Right to Float a Security Outfit

December 21st, 2020

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

The constitution of Nigeria is supreme. It is mandatory that any action or assertion made by her citizens should be in line with the constitution.

The newly unveiled Eastern Security Network by the leader of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has roused many divergent reactions from the northern part of the country. One begins to wonder therefore why the north is repulsive to this security outfit.

Factoring in the verity that the north has its own security outfits like Northern Nigeria Security Initiative (NNSI) code-named "Shege-Ka-Fasa,” the Fulani Security Network (FSN) popularly known as Miyetti Allah, etc, and the west also has its own, the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) codenamed Operation Amotekun (Leopard), one becomes lost in the wilderness of imagination.

On the issue of Eastern Security Network launched by the Biafran leader, those opposed to it are of the opinion that the leader has no right or legal backing to float a security outfit in Nigeria without the support of the Eastern governors as it is with the NNSI, FSN from North and WNSN from Southwest. It thus becomes imperative to examine the constitution of the country and on this note I advise all legal practitioners in the Eastern region of Nigeria to come out open and back up the establishment of this outfit just as Chief Femi Falana (SAN) did for the Southwest.

Chapter two, section 21 under article (a) of the Nigerian constitution says, "the state shall protect, preserve and promote the Nigerian cultures which enhance human dignity and are consistent with the fundamental objectives as provided in this chapter."

Many don't know the Biafran cultures but in accordance with this part of the Nigerian constitution, the Biafran leader has the cultural and constitutional back up to establish a security outfit. Biafrans don't practice the European style of leadership. The Biafran style of leadership is totally democratic and republican which has been there for ages.

Nobody is disputing the fact that the governors, Ohanaeze, and other political organizations are also leaders in Biafra land. But these leaders are not cultural to the Biafran people. They came as a result of the coming of the Europeans through which western culture was introduced to sniff out the cultures of the land.

In Biafra land, there are two groups of leaders – the Tangible and the Intangible leaders. The Tangible ones are those who are culturally nominated by the people while the Intangible ones are those that came as a result of their contact with the western culture like the governors, Ohanaeze and other political organizations in the land.

The Tangible leaders are the Council of Elders, Council of Daughters (Umu Ada), Family, Chief-priests, Traditional Herbal Doctors, and Age-grades.

In the Council of Elders, the basic qualifications to be chosen by the people are age, good knowledge of community traditions, and honesty which is a prerequisite virtue for title-taking, making the position sacred. I said chosen by the people because Biafrans unlike the other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria, practice a participative-style of government where people in all level of organisation partake in decision-making because decisions are drawn from general consensus. This is the Biafran culture and heritage which shouldn't be undermined by anybody.

As it stands, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has all the qualities to belong to the Council of Elders since. His leadership is part of Biafra cultural heritage and according to the constitution, is accepted.

LAGOS EXPLOSION: An Act of Terror Attack, Government Complicity or Negligence?

LAGOS EXPLOSION: An Act of Terror Attack, Government Complicity or Negligence?

March 17, 2020 | The Biafra Times

The magnitude and impact of yesterday's explosion in Abule Ado area of Amuwo Odofin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) can only be compared to the Lagos State bomb blast of 2002.

The IPOB Lagos State Media Team, (Spot-on Media), visited the tragic scene today, 16th day of March, 2020 to have a first hand information of what truly transpired.

From this scene of inferno, we can categorically confirm that the height of destruction of lives and properties can not, by any imagination, be accurately quantified.

Right in our presence, 24 hours after the explosion, corpses and human body parts were still being exhumed from the rubbles, and taken away in ambulances. From what we were seeing here today, there is no possibility of getting the accurate number of casualties in this very disheartening scene, because the response from the Government in this critical time is as negligible as it is questionable, to say the least.

From the information gathered, over 50 bodies have been recovered from the scene, while hundreds of survivors are spread across different hospitals. There is certainty that the Death toll could be higher as rescue operations continue to exhume corpses every hour.

The worst hit from the explosion are Schools and Churches within the vicinity.
In Bethlehem High School, Abule Ado, over 100 students were victims of the fire and collapsed buildings.
The Principal Rev. Sister Henrietta Alokha died alongside several students as she tried to rescue her trapped students.
There are families that lost their lives because their homes collapsed.

The impact was more around the Churches and Schools in the location.
So many houses were completely shattered, roof tops blown away. The destruction was extended to the Tradefair complex where several complexes were damaged, iron doors of many shops were removed, and forced open by the impact of the explosion.

It is a fact that each time there is an emergency in Nigeria, the Government is either too slow to respond, or they are not found in the scene at all.

Moving around the area which has presently been cordoned off by the security operatives after 24 hours, one begins to ask, where were these Security men when the disaster raged yesterday, and left only ordinary Nigerians without expertise and equipment to do the rescue work?

For the many hours that the resultant fire from the explosion raged, victims were left in the hands of men who used unorthodox means to rescue those who were trapped.
We appreciate their courage, boldness and timely service, which, to a large extent, reduced what would have been a more calamitous scenario.

If not for this team of Voluntary workers, the casualties at the Bethlehem Catholic Boarding School, would have been multiplied.

Where was the Nigeria Emergency Management Agency, NEMA?
Where were the Government ambulances and medical practitioners, whose presence was needed at that crucial and critical hour?

Where was the Governor of the State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu?
He only came 24 hours after the incident, took pictures and flew to Abuja to present the evidential photos to his Boss, an allerged impostor at Aso Rock.

Where was the so called President in all of these?
He sat back in his office to write a short note of condolences to victims.

As I make this compilation, all the victims of the attack are battling in various hospitals on their personal efforts. The ones whose homes were destroyed have since relocated to friends or family members.
Those who lost their source of livelihood and properties will never be assisted by Government. It is their loss, that's how it is in Nigeria.
Everything in Nigeria works against the people especially when the majority of the people affected are Biafrans.

The question now is, "what truly caused this massive explosion that covered over 15 square kilometer distance, to kill People and destroy properties worth of billions of dollars?

The first-hand information obtained by the States Media Crew, while interviewing some people living around the area, established firmly that majority of them dismissed the news of Gas pipeline explosion as a mere infantile and hollow diversionary fabrication.
They are of the opinion that it was clearly a well planned and clinically executed Terror attack, targeted mainly at the Christians, almost all of whom are, Biafrans, considering that the area is dominated by Christian Biafrans.

A very insignificant number of people said that the explosion was basically caused by a gas explosion from a Gas cylinder leakage underground, which ignited NNPC pipeline and there was a combined explosion.
(This view lacks merit and coherence in all its ramifications).

Another account said the explosion occurred after a truck got stuck on a Gas pipeline of the NNPC, thereby igniting the underground pipeline, leading to the explosion that shook as far and wide as 15 square kilometers.
(This view is equally as fallacious as it is untenable).

From our findings, we of the Lagos IPOB media Crew can strongly establish that there was a sabotage in what happened here yesterday.

It must not be forgotten that a few days before what is now clearly a terror attack, Nigeria's Chief of Army Staff, Gen Tukur Burutai, began to inform the world of the impending attack in Lagos, by veiling the information under the cover of the fact that "BOKO HARAM IS NOW IN LAGOS".
We Biafrans understood this coded information, and told Lagos to get ready.
Unfortunately, earlier than expected, and in line with the characteristic dismissive approach of Nigerians to the warnings of IPOB, the people were caught unprepared.

It is unfortunate that we can not get the truth from the Government because they will never come up with any tangible report.
In Nigeria, we have seen hundreds of similar attacks by Boko Haram Terrorists, and NO TRUTH has ever emerged in all their reports.

We strongly demand an immediate disintegration of Nigeria, as that is the only solution that will end these incessant Terrorist attacks by  Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen, ISIS West Africa, and Al Queda in the Maghreb, all under the sponsorship of the Fulani Janjaweed government of Nigeria, under the supervision of the government of Britain.

Trump issues travel ban restrictions to Nigeria and five other countries

File photo: President Donald Trump

February 1, 2020 | THE BIAFRA TIMES

By David Jackson

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump's administration on Friday added six countries to the controversial travel ban he put in place early in his term, a move that could potentially trigger another legal battle in a highly volatile election year.

Department of Homeland Security officials said the administration will suspend issuing overseas visas for nationals of Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar and Nigeria. The agency said it would also place additional restrictions on Sudanese and Tanzanian nationals.

The White House said the new countries fail to conduct "proper identity management" procedures or fail to "comply with basic national security" requirements.

"It is fundamental to national security, and the height of common sense, that if a foreign nation wishes to receive the benefits of immigration and travel to the United States, it must satisfy basic security conditions outlined by America’s law-enforcement and intelligence professionals," the White House said in a statement.

The new restrictions will not apply to tourist or business travel, the White House said, but rather to visas that are issued to immigrants who intend to live in the U.S.

Trump's travel ban, which the administration re-worked after a series of court challenges, already suspended the issuance of immigrant and non-immigrant visas to applicants from Libya, Iran, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, North Korea, and Venezuela.

The initial ban triggered a 17-month political and legal battle in which critics accused Trump of unconstitutionally targeting Muslims. The uproar included protests in cities and chaos at airports where some passengers from affected countries were detained.

After several revisions, the Supreme Court upheld the ban on a 5-4 vote in 2018.

Critics slammed Trump's move to expand the ban.

"Reviving this ban, and the anti-Muslim sentiment in which it originated, is a violation of the values of human rights and human dignity, and it must be overturned," said Margaret Huang, Amnesty International USA’s executive director. "The policies this administration has enacted towards people seeking safety have been cruel, inhumane, bigoted."

Human Rights Abuse Report: We are not answerable to the US, UK or the EU

December 13, 2019 | The Biafra Times

Femi Adesina, the presidential spokesman, says as a sovereign nation, Nigeria is not be bothered about the reports from the United States, United Kingdom, and European Union as regards abuse of human rights issues.

Adesina spoke when he featured on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, on Wednesday, December 10, 2019.

While reacting to the reports by the international community that Nigerian has a high record of human rights abuses.

The presidential spokesperson asked the US, UK and EU to focus their energy on their own issues.

He added that the presidency is not bothered about the minority’s perception that there is an abuse of the rule of law and repression of freedom of speech.

“We are not answerable to the US, the UK or the EU. We are Nigeria, a sovereign country,” he said.

” Those countries and entities have issues of their own. Let them deal with their issues. Let Nigeria also deal with her internal issues. We are not answerable to them. If the perception is not right, why do you need to get worried? The perception is not right.

“It doesn’t get anybody worried. The president knows the truth about what is happening in the country, so no need for any worries or agitation.”

He also added that the ultimatum issued by 14 civil society groups as well as the editorial by The PUNCH was not the mind of the majority of Nigerians.

“But the question is who are these people and how many are they among about 200 million people? Who are they?” he asked.

“A tiny but vocal minority who will always complain. If they mistakenly get to heaven, they will complain about the conditions in heaven.

“So why do you worry yourself about those set of people? When you talk of the media, you are speaking as if there is a unanimity among them. No, you have a minimum of 15 major newspapers in the country and you have other smaller ones, 100 of them.

“There is no unanimity that there is repression in the land, disregard of the rule of law. So, if one of them comes out to say that, it is just an opinion. It has a right to it, nobody will begrudge them.

“How many people do they amount to? We can’t begin to take the minority to represent the majority.”

Asked if the federal government would review some of its activities and actions, he said only genuine issues would be considered.

“Only if they are genuine issues, they will always be looked into,” he said.

“We have had instances in which the government had to reverse itself because there were concerns raised. It shows that the government is responsive but you cannot listen to a babble of voices and want to answer everyone. It will distract you from what you are doing. You let them have their say.”

Nigeria truly the troubled giant of Africa says Campbell

John Campbell - Former US Ambassador to Nigeria

 October 8, 2018 | The Biafra Times

A former US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. John Campbell, has said though Nigeria possesses extraordinary potential, it is the truly troubled giant of Africa.

Campbell stated this in a new book he co-authored which was presented to the public on Thursday in Lagos at the US Consul General’s residence.

He also saluted the entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians in the book titled, “Nigeria: What Everyone Needs to Know”

Campbell stated in the book that virtually every major university in the English-speaking world hosted Nigerian academics with the country’s medical personnel found in hospitals all over the United States and elsewhere.

He said, “Though it possesses extraordinary potential, Nigeria is truly the troubled giant of Africa. And Nigeria exports Christian clergy to the United Kingdom and the United States. Nigerians living outside of Nigeria have been notably successful in business and finance, and they are known for their entrepreneurial spirit.’’

In the book, Campbell and Matthew T. Page, Associate Fellow in Chatham House’s Africa Programme,  described Nigeria as a nation characterised by a type of corruption in which government or public officials seek personal gain at the expense of the led.

They stated, “Kleptocracy and government dishonesty have corrosive effects on popular confidence in governance. Official and unofficial corruption undermine the democratic trajectory and risks overwhelming it. It is among the most important hindrances to the country’s economic and social development.

“Despite ubiquitous cell phone use and other signs of modernity, the country is one of the poorest in the world. By indices ranging from levels of female literacy to average lifespan, Nigeria scores among the lowest in the world. The country’s population has grown explosively without the economic and infrastructure development necessary to support it."

NIGERIA faces likely litigation for more breaches of gas agreements, it was learnt on Tuesday.

Not less than 11 agreements signed with different firms have been breached and the companies are waiting for the outcome of the litigation of the Federal Government with Process and Industrial Developments (P&ID) to determine whether to press for claims.

Nigeria is before a London court trying to reverse the $9.6 billion arbitral judgment against the country over a dubious gas agreement signed with the Ministry of Petroleum Resources without passing through due process.

Some of the 11 companies were alleged to have initiated arbitration process against the Federal Government.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has written to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to assist in probing how the 11 extra deals are tied to the ill-fated contracts with P&ID.

The EFCC has raised a team of detectives to probe the deals.

It was learnt that the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources on January 10, 2010 entered into separate agreements with P&ID and 12 other pre-qualified investors for gas production facilities at the nation’s oil fields.

A source, who spoke in confidence, said: “Nigeria is in a serious danger because 11 other firms have issues with the Federal Government on the gas projects.

“The Ministry of Petroleum Resources actually on January 10, 2010, entered into a deal with P&ID and 12 other pre-qualified investors for accelerated development of gas production facilities at the nation’s oil fields.

“These oil fields included those on offshore, land swamp in different flare points. Both the government and the investors have their obligations spelt out in the MoU. And the two parties have defaulted with the P&ID and 11 companies seeking compensation or payment of damages.

“Some of these firms have initiated arbitration process. A few others are awaiting the outcome of Nigeria’s case at the UK Court of Appeal to make a stronger case for payment of damages.

“The concern of those in NNPC and other government officials is about how much Nigeria will now pay for the botched Gas Supply and Processing Agreement (GSPA). This is why the government is ready to give P&ID a good fight in the UK and in the United States.”

Another source in the NNPC said: “This corporation does not want a repeat of P&ID arbitral award and it has referred the case of the 11 firms to the EFCC for investigation and advice on how the nation can go about it.

“We want to try as much as possible to prevent a deluge of arbitration cases which can ground the nation’s economy.

“Some of the companies have already initiated arbitration steps. It is only a firm that has decided not to either take Nigeria to a court or any arbitration panel.

“Certainly, the GSPA was untidy, fraudulent and a plot by some of the companies to rip off the nation.”

A team of special detectives was said to be handling the investigation of the deals with the 11 firms.

“Our detectives are already investigating the deals with the firms. We have shortlisted about 25 persons to interact with.

“We also discovered that the deals are inter-related with the ongoing case of P&ID. We will leave no stone unturned to end this type of challenge the nation is facing,” a source in the anti-graft agency added.

Also, the Federal Government has invoked Mutual Legal Assistance Treaty (MLAT) to extradite a co-owner of P&ID, Brendan Cahill and  Adam Quinn, the son of the owner of the Irish firm, the late Michael Quinn.

A government source said: “We have already invoked MLAT between Nigeria and the UK and Ireland to bring the two key officials of P&ID to trial in Nigeria.

“We have filed charges against a former Director, Legal Services in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources and they have been implicated Cahill.

“We are hopeful that the extradition move will succeed.”

Jibrin from Sudan, Atiku from Cameroon, but there are really no Nigerians

 By Fedrick Nwabufo

Before 1914, the geographical space called Nigeria existed in bifurcation – the northern and southern protectorates. And before the British savaged and carved out the area for immanent exploitation, there were thriving kingdoms, ethnic groups, cultures, traditions, and civilisations.

In the stout bushes of the eastern section of the lower Niger, a republican system of government, more organised than that of the ancient city-states of Greece, flourished among the Igbo people. There were sacerdotal institutions upon which the society pivoted. And the people never referred to themselves as “Nigerians”, which is originally an alien appellation and colonial tag.

And in the western plains of the lower Niger, a form of constitutional monarchy, more polished than that of the British, burgeoned among the Yoruba people. There was a sophisticated system of checks and balance, a boisterous culture and civilisation. But these people never referred to themselves as “Nigerians”.

In the hills and archipelagos of the upper Niger area, a disciplined monarchical system flourished among the Hausa people. And they never regarded themselves as “Nigerians”. In fact, they fought one of the bloodiest battles against the progenitors of “Nigeria”.

Casting off pretension, the founding fathers – Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello did not operate in the consciousness of “Nigeria” because the construction was not organic. They acted in cognizance of their “nativity”.

In 1947, in his book, ‘Path to Nigeria Freedom’, Awolowo expressed concern about the artificiality of the colonial heritage. He said: “Nigeria is not a nation; it is a mere geographical expression. There are no Nigerians in the same sense as there are English or Welsh or French. The word Nigeria is merely a distinctive appellation to distinguish those who live within the boundaries of Nigeria from those who do not.”

Taking inspiration from Awolowo, “there are no Nigerians” in the true sense of the word. Nevertheless, owing to today’s realities, it is convenient to describe those occupying the “Niger area” as Nigerians.

However, Awolowo's statement should not be construed as an expression of hopelessness in Nigeria's unity. In fact, he was advancing reasons for unity and why each entity within Nigeria must be allowed to grow at its own pace.

But is Atiku Abubakar Nigerian or Cameroonian? In my essay, ‘Nnamdi Kanu is right; Atiku’s Adamawa was in northern Cameroon’, I had expounded a historical argument about his origins.

I said: “On 11 February 1961, a plebiscite was held in British Cameroons to determine which parts of the territory would stay in Cameroon or align with Nigeria. While northern Cameroon favoured a union with Nigeria, southern Cameroon wanted an alignment with the mother country. On 1 June, 1961, northern Cameroon became part of Nigeria, and on 1 October 1961, the southern territory dissolved into Cameroon.

And really, much of the present day Adamawa state in Nigeria is part of the old northern Cameroon. In fact, there is a region called “Adamawa” in Cameroon today. And even the kingdom of the Lamido of Adamawa stretches into Cameroon. Atiku's hometown, Jada, was a part of Ganye, which was the headquarters of the British Cameroons.”

However, it is ludicrous to allege that a man who became Nigeria’s vice-president, who has lived, invested and paid tax in the country for years is not a citizen. And by the way, northern Cameroon was constitutionally wedded with Nigeria in "holy matrimony".

But when it comes down to it, no one is really a Nigerian. Awolowo says so.

Sharia-Ridden Nigerian Judicial System, A Mockery of Justice

By Princewill Akubumma | For Biafra Writers | 01 April 2019

It is appalling that the legal system of Nigeria which is supposedly the last hope of a common man has degenerated into comatose and an institution which serves as a willing tool of the government of the day for persecution and witch-hunting of anyone it considered a threat to their Islamization ploy.

Meanwhile, travesty of justice is when a Nigerian Federal High Court judge, Binta Nyako chooses to follow the tenets of Sharia law while forsaking that of a secular law, only to make a mockery of the common law practiced in Nigeria, which requires that a judge must investigate the reasons behind someone's failure to attend to court proceedings or stand for his trial as at when due.

Justice Binta Murtala Nyako had on Thursday, 28th March, 2019, turned justice on its head when she issued a bench warrant and ordered for the immediate arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on the ground that the latter has violated his bail conditions and has failed to appear in court when it is clear to all and sundry that the IPOB leader’s continued absence in court wasn't out of his own volition but due to the underlying circumstances of the attack by men of the Nigerian army on his home on September 14, 2017 which forced him to escape for safety.

Recall that during the attack on his home in Isiama Afara-Ukwu Ibeku, Umuahia on September 2017, 28 men were shot and killed, including his family dog.

Despite the pictorial and video evidence that abounds, this Sharia judge, Binta Nyako abandoned all the ethics and tenets of the law and chose to follow the principles of the Islamic law otherwise known as Sharia law and passed such judgement to mock the world judicial system.

An injustice against Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra is an injustice against all Biafrans and we are putting the world on notice that our supreme leader had not committed any crime known to the Nigerian laws despite its flawed nature.

It is now obvious that the legal system of Nigeria has been hijacked by the Cabals in Aso-Rock who dictates for judges the kind of judgement they must serve. Therefore, the world judicial body, legal practitioners and all men and women of good conscience must rise to condemn this grave injustice which could lead to severe unrest in the largest sub-saharan African country.

Bus full of children set on fire by angry driver

World News | The Biafra Times

March 20, 2019

Italian bus driver of Senegalese descent was arrested on Wednesday after hijacking his own vehicle and setting it on fire, allegedly threatening to kill more than 50 children on board whose hands he had bound.

The 47-year-old man said he was acting in revenge for the thousands of migrants, many of them African, who have drowned in the Mediterranean in recent years while trying to reach Europe from Libya.

“No one will survive,” he said, according to police.

“He shouted 'Stop the deaths at sea, I'll carry out a massacre',” said Marco Palmieri, a police spokesman.

The man, named as Ousseynou Sy, was driving 51 children from their middle school near the city of Cremona to a sporting event when he started making threats, brandishing a knife.

In an ordeal that lasted around 40 minutes, he started driving towards nearby Milan.

He rammed the bus into cars on a busy highway before it came to a stop at a roadblock set up by police.

He then doused it in petrol and set it on fire.

Police smashed the windows of the vehicle to allow the children to escape.

Television footage showed thick black smoke and flames billowing from the bus, which was reduced to a burnt-out hulk.

“It was a miracle, it could have been a massacre,” said Francesco Greco, a prosecutor from Milan. “The carabinieri (police) were exceptional in blocking the bus and getting all the children out. They broke the windows and managed to get all 51 kids out.”

One of the children told reporters that the driver had threatened to pour petrol on them and set them alight.

“He handcuffed us and threatened us. He said that if we moved he would pour out the petrol and set fire to it.

“He kept saying that people in Africa are dying and the fault is Di Maio and Salvini's” – a reference to Luigi Di Maio and Matteo Salvini, the leaders of the two parties that make up the populist coalition.

A 12-year-old boy who was interviewed by Italian television said the driver claimed that three of his children had drowned at sea while trying to reach Italy by boat from North Africa.

“He said he had lost three children, that many children die at sea, so we should die too, by being burned. I was afraid I would die,” the boy said.

Mobile phone footage taken by passing motorists showed children screaming in panic as they ran away from the vehicle.

At least 12 children were taken to hospital for bruises, smoke inhalation or because they were suffering from shock.

Police said the suspect had a criminal record, with convictions for sexual molestation and driving while drunk. He obtained Italian citizenship in 2004.

Mr Salvini, the interior minister and head of the anti-immigration League party, asked why a person with a criminal record was allowed to drive a school bus.

Interior minister officials said they were studying the possibility of revoking the driver’s Italian citizenship.

The driver is likely to face charges of kidnapping, attempted mass murder, causing a fire and resisting arrest.

Prosecutors said he could also be charged with terrorism offences.

Thousands of migrants, many of them West Africans, have drowned in the Mediterranean in recent years.

So far this year, the death toll is 282, but that comes after a dramatic reduction in the number of migrant boats setting out from Libya.

The traffic has slowed considerably after the EU beefed up the Libyan Coast Guard – which has been accused of human rights abuses – and Italy’s populist government decreed last summer that it was closing its ports to NGO vessels that rescue asylum seekers.

Last year, nearly 2,300 migrants and refugees died, according to the UN.

Nigeria declares another war on Biafra, tries to deceive the world

By Dave O. Umahi | For Biafra Writers | January 8, 2019

Nigeria, the West African killing field, has declares war on Biafra again! But as it did the last time in 1967, it lies to deceive the world, cloaking under a military operation. The details of this latest war, we gathered, was part of the reasons the British royal personality, Prince Charles was in Nigeria last year to lecture their commissioned killers and house-slaves (the Fulani).

Sometime in December last year, a certain Northern Fulani stooge, Okwudili Azinta, was used to announce the second declaration of war against Biafrans, just as Yakubu Gowon (the mass murderer) was used in 1967. This time, Azinta was the voice of his master, the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, a certified war-crime perpetrator as declared by Amnesty International (AI), who is currently being investigated by International Criminal Court (ICC).

Buratai said the Army was commencing Operation Python Dance (OPD) 111, as a nationwide military action. But the OPD, also known as “Egwu Eke” (which were Igbo-Biafran words) has always been a devilish sectional agenda against the Biafran people. Without any doubt, since 2015, all such operations of the Nigerian ‘terrorist’ army has always been localized, which they claimed was to deal with each section based on their peculiar circumstances. There was “Operation Mutua Dole” (OMD), for the Northeastern part of the country, Operation Lafyia Dole in the West and “Operation Crocodile Smile” (OCS) in the so-called South-south region.

But this time, Buratai claimed the OPD was meant to check insecurity across the length and breadth of the country. And going further, he tried to explain that the previous two phases of the exercise – Egwu Eke I and II (which were conducted in 83 Divisions in 2016 and 2017), were huge successes. This gave him the impetus to declare that the current one, which they branded Egwu Eke lll, was designed to build on the successes recorded in the previous two exercises.

In addition, Buratai said that the choice of Ondo State for the flag-off was to assure the citizens that all kidnappers and bandits, who threatened the peace and security of the state recently, have no hiding place.

But all that was a big lie; and the “nationwide” claim, a dummy sold to deceive the world. It was all a deception meant to give their activities a national outlook, with a view to disguise or conceal the atrocities they plan to unleash against Biafrans in Biafraland.

Ondo State, which is located at the Yoruba axis of the country, has nothing to do with Python Dance. Indeed, OPD had always being carried out in Biafraland; it has only been confined to the region of Biafraland which the Nigerian rulers branded Southeast. The other side of Biafraland was always visited with the one they called Operation Crocodile Tears (OCT) (later changed to Crocodile Smile to deceive the world that there were humaneness in their actions).

What the Nigerian terrorist army is doing this year, 2019, is not different from what it has done in 1967, when it used mass murderer, Gowon to declare “Police Action”, which certainly had nothing to do with the police. Instead, it deployed the full strength of its military; with state-of-the-art military equipment at the time (backed fully by the British government) to slaughter nothing less than three million Biafrans.

Today, complete set of military equipments and ammunition such as armoured tanks, etc, litter the streets of Biafra, with soldiers unleashing violence on innocent Biafran people – engaging in enforced disappearance and abduction of leaders cum principal officers of the Indigenous People of Biafra, molesting and terrorizing the Biafran people in their own homeland. All these atrocities against the people, simply because they have disowned Nigeria, and given notice not to participate in any of their fake elections anymore until a date is fixed for the Biafraexit referendum. They want to cow the people into submission but they are wasting time as people has remained committed and resolute towards to pursuit of freedom.

2019: ‘We’ll paralyse Biafraland on presidential election day’ – Nnamdi Kanu vows

...Says only referendum can save the bloody implosion of Nigeria

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue, Chief Editor | The Biafra Times

January 2, 2019

ISRAEL– Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has threatened to paralyse the regions constituting the defunct Republic of Biafra during Nigeria’s upcoming presidential election, saying only Biafra referendum would stop the bloody implosion of the country.

Kanu, who spoke yesterday from Israel, in his special new year broadcast on Radio Biafra, challenged the Nigerian authorities to send down their battalions of army to the region and receive the shock of their lives.

He also assured Biafrans and lovers of freedom that he and his group are doing everything possible to ensure that a referendum is conducted this year, citing inability to conclude with the consultation process and the cost of printing ballot papers as reasons for the stalling of the exercise last year.

According to the IPOB leader, “We the IPOB have proposed and still proposing that the only idea that will halt the bloody disintegration of the Zoo(Nigeria) is a referendum for everybody. What is wrong with asking people what they want?

“They must conduct a referendum on self-determination for Biafrans and indeed any other organized and cohesive group that demand it. That is the only fair way not through federalism, not devolution, not restructuring.

“To drive home our demand, IPOB will ensure that the entire land of Biafra is paralyzed on whatever date they choose to hold their presidential election. This position is irreversible, unless our simple demand is met.

“Do you know why the presidential election is key? That day, the whole world will be watching, and we will paralyse Biafraland. If you want to be free from the chains of slavery and bondage of the Zoo, boycott presidential election and the Zoo will crumble to your tent oh Israel!

“I got an Intel that they’ll be sending the Army to come to Biafraland. Anywhere you see IPOB, shoot. I dare you to shoot that day, let me see the idiot that will tell me that self-defense is not allowed. Let them bring their army and shoot and see what would happen to their army in Biafraland. Even Britain will abandon you.

“I made bold this very first of January 2019 evening to say that anything short of a referendum will be duplicitous and futile. The earlier people stop deceiving themselves on this, the better for all oppressors and the oppressed alike.

“This year, 2019, we shall begin taking the first tangible steps into nationhood. We’ll do everything humanly possible to ensure our referendum is conducted this year. The process of extensive referendum consultation was not concluded in good time last year to enable us to hold it.

“Again, the cost implications made it impossible for us to complete the printing and production of our ballot papers but we shall continue to work very hard to ensure its completion. Referendum is a very costly resource intensive exercise and we want to get it right the first time because that will usher in the new Biafra government, even if it has to operate from outside the shores of Biafraland.

“What we‘re pursuing is freedom for everybody not only for Biafrans but for everybody. I’ve said it time and again, let them take the oil and gas, we don’t need it. We have brains. If problem of the Yoruba is the oil, let them take it. I know that Hausa/Fulani cannot do without oil. They should come and take it. We just want to be free. Freedom is what we’re asking for not natural resources.”

Amnesty Programme: Ex-militants laments neglect after surrendering, threatens to resume hostilities ahead of 2019 elections

•Says instead of fulfilling agreed promises, government deployed soldiers to the region to wreck havoc

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue, Chief Editor | The Biafra Times

October 7, 2018

DELTA — Ex-militants cutting across Ogun, Lagos, Ondo and other ‘Niger Delta States’ led by one Gen. Ogailo Iborry, have lamented their neglect by the government after been deceived into surrendering their arms and been coerced into accepting to benefit from the Presidential Amnesty Programme.

According to the ex-militants, “the federal government, through the Deputy Governor of Ondo State Agboola Ajayi, who was the Chairman of the State Amnesty Committee, together with representatives of the Delta State Government, Commanding Officer of the Nigerian Navy Forward Operation Base, Igbokoda, Navy Captain Usman Yahaya were all witnesses of the handover ceremony last year.

“The promises made by the federal government included enlisting them into the Amnesty programme, provision of a College of Education, bridge, water system toilets, network facilities, and pipe borne water to the community, payment of stipends and release of over two hundred young men who are citizens of this great nation as well as pipeline and oil facilities surveillance jobs.

“From that time after the release of the arms up till the present day, the government has neglected, refused and/or omitted to fulfil any of the promises including the release of these men who are awaiting trial in various detention centres.”

Furthermore, the ex-militants stated that “instead of fulfilling their promises, the government deployed soldiers to the region to wreck havoc. This has led to an outcry amongst the people and these men are now being forced to return to arms.

“We state categorically that the deputy governor of Ondo State and Chairman of the State Amnesty Committee, Mr. Agboola Ajayi has since the willing submission of arms not made direct contact with any of us or even picked any of our calls to him.

“We reiterate further that if the federal or state government has released any funds towards meeting their promises, none of the funds whatsoever has been released to any one of us, neither has any information regarding this been communicated to us particularly as we have been reliably informed that the names of these ex militants have been replaced by pseudo names on the Amnesty Programme list.”

The aggrieved ex-militants asked: “By neglecting to fulfil their promise, are the federal and state governments portraying to us that they prefer unrest to the peace presently being experienced in the Niger Delta region and the nation at large?

“Are they saying that the unrest is better for the economic and political development of the country considering that the country is at the brink of an election year?

“Are the federal and state government aware that a return to arms will not augur well for the political climate of the Niger Delta region and the nation at large? Are they aware of how this renege of its promises places the country in the international community?”

The petitioners added: “We dropped our arms because of our faith in the Gen. Muhammadu Buhari led administration. We also use this opportunity to declare our continued trust that the President being a man of integrity will ensure that the promises made to us are kept.

“We call on their Excellencies Governors Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Seriake Henry Dickson of Bayelsa State and Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa of Delta State as well as their deputies and all other well meaning governors in the country to partner with the federal government to facilitate the fulfillment of the above promises in order to avoid the dire consequences that may be the resultant effect of a return to arms in the region.

“We also call on international bodies like the United Nations, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and PANDEF which is a National body to employ all modalities in ensuring that the federal and state governments fulfill their promises to us.”

For The Love Of Dogged Perseverance And Due Justice: A Protest Letter By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu To President Donald Trump, The U.S Congress And The Judiciary

September 18, 2018

Your Honorable Excellencies,

I am acutely humbled and intensively galvanized to present you with this letter. With all my heart, I must embrace the unparalleled truth by commending the leadership crew of the United States of America and her law-abiding citizens for the following reasons; the great sacrifice paid during the journey to independence, for maintaining such a galore of unity amongst the rich heritage states without force or killing and lastly for recognizing Jerusalem as the capital city of the Most High God. It would be an affront to history and posterity for me not to endorse the rocketing fact that this great country has proudly practiced true federalism which evidently has enabled her to be a strong country well-stocked with heroic and outstanding discoveries ever known to man. I admire such a great country.

As Thomas Jeffersonʼs introductory words depict, “we hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights,” these undebatable facts from Jefferson would echo most strongly throughout generations to come. I believe that it is on these simple truths that the United States of America has progressed and excelled in all facets of life. Hence, feudalism is totally off the hook of the American government modus operandi.

On the state of the African continent, the struggle of the United States to see that Africa is remodelled into a promising continent devoid of terrorism, underdevelopment and generally backwardness, is profitably felt. But the Africa of today as seen by many has become vulnerable to countries of dubious character who came-in to destabilize, ruin and jeopardize her development by delving into her politics through their ‘warrant chiefs,’ parading as leaders. These parasitic countries with the epic help of their warrant chiefs have perfected plans on how to continue duping good countries like the United States that harbours good dreams for the black continent.

As you may likely know that discussing Africa’s evolution without Nigeria appearing on the bigger picture would be complicitly incomplete. As Gbemisola Adeoti, a revered lecturer in one of Nigeria’s most celebrated universities called Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) would metaphorically present Nigeria as an ‘ambusher’ of her dreams and that of Africa in general. It is with a heart devoid of pretence that I appeal to your humble offices to x-ray the state of Nigeria so as to exhume the simple solution to her ills. Before that, I have some suggestions to make.

The emphatic truth carved in stone is that the rain beating the black continent today is as a result of the partitioning of the African territories against their natural boundaries. This is otherwise known to scholars today as ‘Scramble for Africa.’ In Nigeria, as a creation of the British colony, it is still this villainous controversial gathering of the world’s leading European powers in what is known today as the Berlin Conference of 1885 that precipitated the creation of new boundaries that caused great violence to Africa’s ancient societies, top of the list is the defunct Republic of Biafra which Biafrans today are struggling to resurrect. That same gathering resulted in the creation of tension-prone states like the Nigeria we see today.

As the Holy Bible would succinctly put it clear in Psalm 11:3 that: “Foundation once destroyed, what can the righteous do?” This would propel me to state unequivocally here that the aids been rendered by the United States of America to the Nigerian government in the fight against terrorism which is second to none in history are all efforts in futility until the United States revisits the foundation which brought Nigeria into existence in order to accurately ascertain the real disease which is the ‘incompatibility’ of ethnic nationals that constituted the Nigerian state which was somewhat a byproduct of the Berlin Conference of 1885. Nigeria as an embodiment of distinct nationalities is duly ripe to be subjected to a credible and independent referendum to put an end to all the problems/crises bedevilling the Nigerian state once and for all. Just as her creator, Fredrick Lugard rightly confessed that northern Nigeria and its southern region are like oil and water which can never mix together, l make bold to say that subjecting Nigeria to a referendum is the only panacea to ending Nigeria’s societal ills and that of Africa in general.

In words of one syllable, I would like to bring to the attention of the American government that helping Nigeria in any aspect is beginning to dent America’s image. People around the world are harboring this feeling that the United States is only interested in making huge profit by selling guns and military hardwares to Africa (Nigeria) in the guise of aiding in the fight against terrorism and protection of Africa (Nigeria). Your honourable Excellencies, Africa is asking for food not dopes. I think the sagely unity that the United States of America is enjoying today was not and is not achieved through guns and bullets (force). It is against the law of nature to sell ammunition to a hungry continent (people) which they will, in turn, end up utilizing to further terrorize and destroy defenseless and unarmed fellow citizens in their midst and not to fight against terrorism as expected of them.

We must admit that there was a country in Africa which would have changed Africa. Africa would have largely benefited from the Biafra sovereignty, as a result of its human and material resources. If you take time to study the present state of Nigeria today, it would dawn on sane-minded people that the defeat of Biafra is not a victory for the Nigerian people but for the British government and the neo-colonialists like Soviet. Going by their tremendous inventions and heroic activities during the war, one doesn’t need to be convinced that if such a nation that believes in liberalism was allowed by countries such as Britain, Russia, Egypt and others to emerge, they would have transformed the Africa of today to something much better. Just as the state of Israel whom they share same rich heritage with, is used as an example in the Middle East, so also the state of Biafra would have been to the black continent. Indeed as most people would assert, “In Biafra, Africa died.”

Biafra war remains the most horrific war ever in human history given to the holy and miraculous events that took place. I am talking about the first televised war in history. A war that must have made God ‘sick.’ A war that killed more vulnerable people like children and elderly persons than soldiers. Your excellencies, sorry, it’s so annoying and pathetic to remember. We have not forgotten the courageous Bruce Mayrock that set himself ablaze in front of the UN building after seeing how the Biafran people were been massacred. Even as a child during the Biafra war, Steve Jobs lost faith in God after seeing the hunting images of the starved children of Biafra.

Isn’t it awful that while the British government may consider as genocide, the massacre of a few hundred English people, that figure may rise to a few thousand in relation to other European nations and a few million for African nations. Britain deliberately created a society that would live in division; a society that will always be against itself. For a federation to work, no one group will have the advantage of relying on its unaided strength, but in Nigeria, Britain made the northern part to rely on the southern part of the country. In essence, the southern part of Nigeria is the beautiful bride supplying every need of the northern part and that has made the forced and unconsented union difficult for a divorce. Britain gave power to the north that practices feudalism in order to continue milking the enormous mineral resources from the Biafra region and using it to enhance, strengthen and rejuvenate their suffocated and dying economy.

This time around, the Biafran people are poised for their total independence from the contraption. They are following the rules and guidelines laid down by the United Nations General Assembly in pursuit of genuine freedom and self-determination. Yet, Biafrans are been massacred in their numbers, some are being bathed with acidic substances while many others were subjected to drink and swim in muddy water by the Nigerian soldiers. Their mothers are being molested and raped by the Nigerian army and sometimes by the Fulani herdsmen who are of northern extraction. To this end, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and his aged parents are still been held in confinement by the Nigerian military who invaded his house on 14th September 2017 against court orders. In this unwarranted invasion, 28 Biafrans who came to visit the IPOB leader died by the lethal bullets of these unprofessional soldiers. The wounds are too numerous to mention here. But amidst of all these obnoxious treatments meted on them, the Biafrans has remained peaceful in their quest.

For the love of dogged perseverance and due justice, your Excellencies, it is time to give the brave and good people of Biafra their overdue independence. This can be done through a referendum. A call for referendum is not a call for war. But if the Nigerian government wants war, we will not fold our arms. We held them with Britain, Russia and other foreign countries for three good years; we are equal to the task.

We urge you to stop the bloodshed in Nigeria; not by supplying them with guns and bullets but by subjecting her to a referendum. That would start with the Biafra referendum.

God bless the United States of America, God bless the United States of Biafra and God bless the state of Israel.

Yours’ Most Sincerely,
Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu
