Southeast Insecurity: Government Aims To Rally The People Against IPOB

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

August 17th, 2023.

Before this wind of insecurity in southeast gummed on the lips of the Nigerian media, the Southeast region has for long been militarized to the brim. Just as with every other territory under military siege in the world, the soldiers assigned to this region have been committing all manner of crimes mostly in the night. They rape, rob, extort, and harass citizens without provocation. Fortunately for the region however, IPOB emerged.

The rise of insecurity in the region and the consequent spurious moves by the Nigerian government and its pocketed duplicitous media to profile the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) as the culprit, call for urgent attention. Before  we get bamboozled by the enemy media and so cast our stone at IPOB, let us ponder on the processes that brought insecurity into existence in the region. Let's ask ourselves how the insecurity in the Southeast began, what caused it, who is behind it and who fought against it? These are the synoptical questions that will not only help us ascertain the perpetrators but also equip our minds to be able to digest the enemy's scheme in accusing IPOB.

Whenever the issue of southeast insecurity is presented on the table, the Fulani movement called Fulani Nationalism and popularly known as Ruga, should come to mind. The Buhari government through Ruga occasioned insecurity on regions opposed to it. Many lives and properties were destroyed trying to force it on the people. IPOB being the single most important body in that vehement rejection, became an enemy of the government.

Ruga massacred families, heightened tension, destroyed homes and means of livelihood. The horrible stories of an old women raped in their farms, young girls gangraped, mother and child butchered in their farms, villages burnt etc, were no good news at all. IPOB rose to the occasion.

It is said that politics and insecurity are one. The stealing of the people's mandate through the government's impossition of Hope Uzodinma as the governor of Imo State was to foster the implementation of Ruga. It was also to punish the southeast region that stood against Ruga through IPOB. By stealing the people's mandate, the government created insecurity.

In a sane society that endorses democracy, protest remains one of the machineries citizens register their feelings. But in a flamboyant disregard to its own law, Nigerian government went ahead to massacre IPOB protesters, creating unnecessary tensions and insecurity.

If the government intention was never to get at IPOB by creating insecurity in the most peaceful region in the country, what then was the reason behind the massacres.  If the government should enforce a movement that decapitates her citizens, who then occasioned insecurity upon the region?

In all intent and purposes, the Nigerian government in their desperation to demonize IPOB, wants to rally the people against IPOB by accusing IPOB of being behind the insecurity in southeast. My advice to the people is to stay focused and don't get hoodwinked by the brown-envelope Nigerian media lies.

Biafra War II- What To Expect

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

August 9th, 2023.

On May 27th, 1967, the Chiefs and Elders representing the Eastern Nigeria, after due consideration of the dangers living in Nigeria poses, went ahead to mandate His Excellency, Lieutenant Colonel Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, the then Military Governor of Eastern Nigeria, to declare the Eastern Nigeria an independent state known as the Republic of Biafra.

The aftermath of this declaration is the Biafra-Nigeria war. Nigeria was the aggressor. The war which lasted from 1967-1970 was spuriously declared no victor no vanquished even though the three Rs(Rehabilitation, Reconciliation and Reconstruction) were swept under the carpet.

The war ended in 1970 but the heroic deeds of the Biafran people still dominate the media and resonate till date. Within just three years of independence, Biafrans attained a feat that no African country has ever attained up till now. At the time when technology was at its infancy, Biafra became the first and only African country to build and successfully launch a rocket system and a submarine. Biafrans invented their own bomb and spoke to the world through a telecommunication system engineered by local ingenuity. They built armoured tanks, cars, extracted and refined petrol with their own indigenous technology called the 'The Biafran pot.' Etc.

These were in more than 50 years ago when technology has not become a source of income in Biafra. In recent time, technology has become a means of survival for many in Biafra. There are more than fifteen cities in Biafra land today that are known for their geniuses in technology.

These cities are specialists in duplicating,  reproducing and refurbishing all kinds of technologies they can see or lay hands on. Many of them are hiding from the Nigerian government.

In addition to this, many inventions have been seen on social media and these are coming from Biafrans. According to a Yoruba man, if the Nigerian government is reasonable enough, they should invest a little in technology using Biafrans, because these people are talented in technology.

All over the world Biafrans are making breakthroughs in technology. If these talents could be brought together in a war, the world should be ready for very shocking inventions that would rock the earth. A people don't know their capabilities until they are pushed to war which goes to buttress the conviction that necessity breeds invention.

In Nigeria, Biafrans are found in all states much more than any other tribe. This is so even as Nigerian authority in its duplicity portrays Biafran population as low in census. If such a people decides to take up arms, to destroy the Nigeria will be very easy as infiltration will be carried out without much obstruction.

A planned war cannot be compared to an unplanned war. The first happened abruptly without enough time to plan. Now there's enough time to plan and enough chances to achieve whatever goal one desires.

There are millions of reasons and motivations to push a Biafran to war. On the other hand, anyone who dies for Nigeria would be considered a fool by the relatives and friends. Nigeria has pushed her citizens to the wall, majority have lost hope in Nigeria. Will Nigeria be left to perish by her inhabitants? Your answer is as good as mine.

The Igbos Are Under Siege In Their Country

By Mike Ozekhome | Biafra Times

I am shocked that the Igbos are not speaking up at the apparent siege laid on their land by uniformed person of different categories. They range from Army, Navy, Police, Civil Defence, Customs, FRSC, etc. My journey had taken me by road from Isele-Mkpitime, where I had gone to pay tribute to a Nigerian icon, Chief (Dr) P.K.C. Isagba, the Odogwu of Isele-Mkpitime. He was one of the first Nigerians to believe in my ability as a young fledgling lawyer. I had been handling his cases whilst at Chief Gani Fawehinmi’s Chambers. When I left as Deputy Head to set up my practice in January 1986, Chief Isagba personally went to Chief Gani Fawehinmi, to allow him move his files to me, to continue handling his cases; a request the amiable and selfless Gani granted immediately. So, Chief Isagba became my first major client as a tottering practising lawyer, trying to find my groggy feet. He became my bossom friend and elder brother.

My journey from Isele-Mkpitime, through Asaba, to Port-Harcourt, told me clearly that the entire Igbo land is locked down in a physical, psychological and mental siege, reminiscent of a civil war time.

When the Civil War ended January 15, 1970, the then military ruler, General “Jack” Yakubu Gowon, who became Head of State, at 31 and a bachelor, proclaimed the three Rs: “Reconciliation, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation”, which heralded his policy of “No Victor, No Vanquished”. This was after the unfortunate failure of the 4th-5th January, 1967, of the “Aburi Accord”, that would have prevented the bloody war in which over 2 million civilians and 100, 000 military combatants were killed. Or, was it an historical mistake that these people who had already manufactured “Ogbunigwe” (series of weapons, that included detonation mines, IED, and rocket propelled missiles), with which they prosecuted the Nigeria – Biafra war between 1967 and 1970, were prevented from leaving Nigeria? Perhaps, we would today have had a Japan, Singapore or South Korea lying side by side a sprawling “giant of Africa” on clay legs.

These policies were meant to quickly heal the gaping wounds of the gruesome blood-letting, forget the horrors and evils of the fratricidal war and quickly reintegrate the Igbos into the society.

But, have these hardworking, gregarious “Jews” of Nigeria been reconciled, rehabilitated and reintegrated into the mainstream of the Nigerian society? I doubt it. Simple proof: show me any Igbo man in today’s all powerful cabal kitchen cabinet of PMB’s Government. My journey from Isele-Mkpitime, Delta State, through Asaba, Onitsha, Oba, Oraifite, Okija, Ihiala, Mgbidi, Awomama, Owerri, Aba to Port-Harcourt, was a strangulating reminder that the Igbos, inspite of their unquantifiable contributions to the commerce, industry and innovations that drive the non-oil sector of the Nigerian economy and give it oxygen, are nearly a conquered people. The check-points along the above stretch of road are nauseating and asphyxiating, as the security agencies, including para-military ones out-do each other to harass, torment, search, intimidate and extort money from travelers.

Earlier journeys by road (I travel a lot on professional duties), had shown me the same siege through countless roadblocks: Enugu, through the Ugwogo Nike-Opi-Nsukka Road; Amansea in Awka-Ugwuoba Oji River; Nnewi, Alor, Ekwulobia, Amesi, Ugar, Umuchu; Okigwe, Awgu and Ituku Ozalla, Umuahia and Isiala-Ngwa, on Enugu-Port Harcourt expressway. On the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene highway, you have exasperating road blocks at Michael Okpara University junction; Isingwu-Nkweogwu junction of the Isuikwuato-Uzuakoli-Ajayi-Igbere road; and the 14 Brigade Army barracks junction at the Ohafia-Arochukwu highway.

As you are crossing one check point, a mere look ahead of you, of less than half a kilometer, will reveal another barricade. It is all so frustrating. There is no war, or security breach. South East is not North East where Boko Haram still calls the shots (forget about Government’s pet words of “we have degraded Boko Haram”; Boko Haram is still very potent, controlling large areas, killing and maiming people on a daily basis. Their representative said that much at the 2nd May, 2017, Re-Union meeting of the 2014 National Conference delegates at Daar Communications Centre, Abuja, where I delivered the keynote address).

Yet, in this Boko Haram-ravaged region, you would not find this armada of security, treating the entire geo-political zone made up of five states (the least in Nigeria; some others have seven states), like a conquered territory.

It is only the recent suit by my good friend, Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, (six of us founded the Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) – the first human rights body in Nigeria-on 15th October, 1987), over “marginalisation of the South East region”, that has perhaps brought to the front burner, these disturbing tons of injustice. That is why no one can ignore Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB, Ralph Uwazurike’s MASSOB, etc, agitating for self –determination, a right sanctioned and recognised even by the UNO.

These fully armed and trigger-happy security personnel have never taken steps to protect the Igbo race, against rampaging Fulani Herdsmen that raid their homes, to maim, kill and rape their wives (remember Nimbo in Uzo Uwani LGA in Enugu State). They have never repelled the incessant reign of terror by armed robbers, kidnappers, hired assassins and murderers. No, they are stationed there for three main reasons: (1) check the bid for self determination by the Igbos; (2) extort money from the wealthy and poor Igbo traders who ply these routes; (3) remind the Igbos that the all powerful Federal Government is on ground to silence the people and force them to toe their ruling party line. Wait a minute; is that why some prominent Igbos, including erstwhile leaders, members of the BOT and two-time Governors for eight years under PDP, have been outdoing each other to decamp to a non-performing and fundamentally flawed party like the APC? Let me end this piece by recommending to the Ndigbos, the legendary Hubert Ogunde’s immortal words, in his most famous 1964 play, “Yoruba Ronu” (“Yorubas, think”), a stinging satire that got his theatre company banned, which ban was later lifted in 1966, by the new military Governor.

Eastern Security Network Unveiled

December 14th, 2020

By Princewill Akubumma | Biafra Writers

The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has on Saturday, the 12th of December 2020, unveiled a security outfit named Eastern Security Network to checkmate the uncontrolled killings of innocent citizens, mostly farmers, by the Fulani cattle herders whose unrelenting onslaught has left many women widows and most men widowers.

Kanu unveiled this security outfit during his live broadcast, adding that the outfit will secure the entire old eastern region now split into South-South and Southeast by the divide-and-rule Nigerian government. He maintained that since the so-called leaders and governors from the region has not deemed it fit to float a security body to secure the land, the responsibility has fallen on the younger generation to defend our land.

In a mind-piercing manner, Kanu said,  "This evening, we are going to announce our preparedness to defend our land and having waited for very many years for the governors in our land – the entire east by which I mean the southeast and south-south – to do what their counterparts in Yoruba land did, and even what the terrorist Miyetti Allah managed to do which they have failed to do upon this very day, we have decided to take it upon ourselves to defend the land of Biafra."

Speaking further, the IPOB leader declared, "We are determined and we are resolute and we are not going to stop until we eradicate every trace of Fulani terrorism and every hegemonic Janjaweedism in our midst. Until that happens, we are not going to waiver; we are not going to retreat … not one inch, not one iota. We have come to do the bidden of the Most High, for that we were sent; or rather should I say born in the first place. We are going to defend our land against the ravages of Fulani terrorism and to defend the lives of our people against state sponsored extra-judicial killings by the zoo armed forces."

He warned that those who delighted themselves in the shedding of the blood of Biafrans should desist as any further attempt on the lives of innocent Biafrans shall be met with equal measure. Kanu berated the governors of the region and accused them of serving the interest of the Sokoto Caliphate for their political ambitions at the expense of their own people. He reiterate that IPOB have cried enough, written petition enough and even begged our assailants enough, stressing that IPOB will no longer do those things anymore. He also maintained that it is not going to be business as usual for the oppressors because they will surely reap whatever they sow.

He concluded by reminding the United Nations, the European Union and other members of the international community that the reason for floating the security outfit is to stop all the killings that took place in several locations in Biafra-land which has continued unabated.

WHY IS THE BIAFRAN CASE DIFFERENTLY HANDLED?

WHY IS THE BIAFRAN CASE DIFFERENTLY HANDLED?

God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, spiritual and physical, is certainly just and impartial and so definitely has no blame whatsoever in the plight of humanity. In His supreme wisdom, He created some human species to be blacks and whites amongst other colors. There also exists other creatures that are proudly accorded their respect. Why then are issues involving Biafrans different from others?

Biafrans undoubtedly, are a very unique specie of humans located in West Africa. They love both God Almighty and their fellow human beings with reckless abandon. They are exceptionally innovative, value life, truth, equity, justice, peace and freedom. All these are naturally imbued in them which they manifest as cultures. However, these outstanding godly qualities are denied them because of their entrapment in an unholy and unworkable union in an entity named Nigeria. Biafrans have consistently but peacefully expressed their pains and passions to the entire global community of which any claim to the contrary can be outrightly disputed. The world kept looking the other way even as the cries of misery, servitude, oppression and death reverberate. Can it really be rightly concluded that the people are being denied attention as a result of their identity? Why is their case being handled with levity?

From detailed analysis, everything that is Biafra-linked, assumes insignificant attention. There has been myriads of persecutions spiraling over years with the world paying deaf ears. It is the Biafran that is innocently and subjectively dragged to the law court at will and given sham trials without global opposition. It is only the Biafran children, women, men and the elderly that are relentlessly and gruesomely killed in their numbers and the civilised global community maintains sealed lips, requiring misplaced and totally baseless protocols before actions if at all, are initiated. Why really are Biafran concerns different?

The United States of America amongst other notable world powers, has the capacity and capability to lay hold on any intelligence required to expedite necessary action needed to rescue ill-treated group of people located anywhere in the world as a matter of responsibility. This is being done to the people of other races elsewhere but for Biafrans who are forcefully caged in Nigeria, despite their inalienable rights, are being blatantly marginalized, oppressed, victimized, enslaved, maimed and killed without recourse. The United States up till now, never deemed it necessary to strongly render redemptive assistance even with irrefutable evidences diversely presented by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the grossly victimized and enslaved Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The government of the United States of America cannot in anyway, deny knowledge of these claims. Why are Biafrans' concerns really handled differently?

Recently, an Iranian frontline terrorist army chief, Qassem Soleimani, was killed by the United States on the directive of President Donald John Trump. Reason being that the victim through classified intelligence information, has pitched himself as a potential enemy and mastermind of killings of American citizens. Soleimani, prior to his summary elimination, had proven plans with the Iranian government to orchestrate further killings. These led to the prompt and targeted US military action without permission from other world powers, to picked on him. This Iranian terrorist army commander was not taken to court neither did the oppressed Iranian citizens allowed to come up with complaints? None of such options was followed. The needful was embarked on and judiciously executed to save the lives of many seemed useful to the world than the terrorist enemy himself.

Sadly, in Nigeria where Biafrans have been unlawfully caged for decades of years under the guise of unity, millions of innocent lives have been wasted and are yet been wasted without the world calling a hoot. The United States of America which is the global watchdog, conscience of democracy, truth, justice, equity and freedom, has disappointedly maintained a posture of indifference to the plights of Biafrans. She knows everything about Nigeria, including the wave of Islamic religious fundamentalism non-muslims are being forced to embrace and daily killed for. Biafrans are Judeo-Christians and today being increasingly persecuted and dispossessed of their God-given heritage by the terrorists and their brethren in government. US government knows fully well that with the Fulani oligarchy, in connivance with their British overlords, Biafrans will continue to reel in slavery. The people have been forced to cohabit against their will, with different ethnic nationalities whose value systems are incompatible. The British government, using their Fulani Islamic stooges, are intently bent on ripping Biafrans off their natural identity and glory. Atrocities are being committed against the indigenous people.

If really the global community has all these years, been deceived like in the case of Afghanistan, they still remain culpable to the pains and sufferings being meted on the innocent citizens. But unlike the nation of Afghanistan which lacks voices of dissent speaking for the people, the Mazi Nnamdi Kanu led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), have tenaciously put up lots of irrefutable evidences and efforts in their cases against the Nigerian government. They have maintained consistency and well exceeded the legal requirements for peaceful freedom agitations attained by any group ever known in the fight for self-determination in human history. Despite Nigerian government's sponsored persecutions and killings, IPOB has peaceably kept her nerves and the world should dutifully understand that. The land of Biafra has been drenched in the blood of her citizens for years and the global community cannot be in pretense about this. Biafrans should cease to be treated so indifferently if this planet earth should be peacefully inhabited.

For the United States of America and Afghanistan, President Donald Trump and the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs, a lot is fastly being done to bring the needless war which has led to the death of so many civilians and military personnel, due to elitist selfish interests. But for the Nigerian enclave, Biafrans and all other ethnic nationalities that are today being forced to harmfully continue to cohabit, the permission being sought perhaps from the evil British government is entirely out of place and condemnable.

Nigeria was founded on falsehood and has over the years, been damaged beyond repair. Life therein is increasingly becoming unbearable. Biafrans cannot continue to bear the brunt of this misplaced priority. She must be free for the sake of the African continent and humanity. The United States of America cannot be busy contending for peace and justice elsewhere in the world at the exclusion of Biafrans. It is total and complete freedom that is needed and nothing can assuage for this. Freedom for Biafrans will definitely bring all the needed peace and progress the continent of Africa has so craved for.

The Igbo Coup Fallacy: There Won’t Be Any Biafran to Salvage the Situation in Nigeria This Time

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | For Biafra Writers

Observing the political intrugues playing out today and the accompanying misfeasance, one could see a repeat of the situation that necessitated the 1966 coup which, although having players from virtually all the ethnic groups in Nigeria and geared towards enthroning a Yoruba man, chief Obafemi Awolowo, was conspiratorially designated Igbo Coup. The unbridled desire of the Northern hegemony to keep hold on power and covinently dominate the rest, necessitated the revolutionary action of 1966. Obviously, the Fulani supposes Nigeria an inheritance of their forefather, Othman Danfodio, hence the insulting and egomaniac claim "we are born to rule."

The political unrest Biafran officers attempted to quell in 1966 is today threatening to rear its ugly head fully. The Fulani, bent on having his evil way, wouldn't allow any Biafran close to any exalted military position.

Justice Onnoghen's illegal suspension and replacement with a Fulani man elaborates the Fulani agenda for the country. Noise makers rose, pretending to defend democracy with vain words and empty threats. That, however, is expected of slaves. When their master gives order, they murmur but can't resist. So as has been the norm in this British evil creation, after these few days of noisemaking, Justice Onnoghen's saga will be forgotten.

The power-drunk Fulani deciders tested the resolve of Nigerian citizens with the imposition of Jubril Aminu Al-Sudani - a washed-out Sudanese actor - on the people. Having observed the endemic myopia and mental ineptitude of the Nigerian, the Fulani stepped up their game.

The tent pitchers - Yoruba people - should be ignored totally this time. Any attempt or suggestion to work with the Yorubas should be discouraged, for Yorubas, being a people without honour, breach agreements without a second thought. I’m talking about a people who are willing to deny their ancestry in order to stay alive. Biafrans took it upon themselves to salvage the Yoruba land through the 1966 revolutionary coup but got stabbed in the back. Yes, they got stabbed in the back by the same people they went to save. As if the treachery wasn't enough, the Yoruba spearheaded the starvation of millions of Bifaran children to death.

Only Biafrans can save Nigeria as they did with the 1966 revolution. This time around however, it is necessary that Biafrans become spectators in Nigeria’s dilemma. The wisest thing thus is for Biafrans to guard only their territories, minding the affairs of their own land. The Fulanis are coming for sure. We must stay awake.

Before You Argue Blindly Over Kanu's Comment On Judaism, Read This

FOR THOSE THAT LOVE ARGUING BLINDLY REGARDING IPOB RELATIONSHIP WITH JUDAISM AND ISREAL

By Aiden Dillion

Christianity is the Europeanized version of JUDAISM. Jesus Christ was a Jew. His father Joseph a Jew. His mother Virgin Mary a Jew. They all attended synagogues and the Temple in Jerusalem not any Church. Therefore Christians are Jews through Jesus Christ.

It’s either that most Christians don’t read the Bible or they don’t understand it. Listen to what Jesus Christ said to the Samarian woman in the New Testament book of John 4: 22

“You Samaritans worship what you do not know, we [Jews] worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews”. (John 4:22 New International Version)

Yes Jesus Christ said it, salvation is from the Jews and Nnamdi Kanu is a Jew. This quote is from Jesus Christ himself. If salvation is from the Jews according to Jesus Christ, why would mere reprobates from black Africa on Facebook have issues with Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB doing what Jesus said should be done?

Christian Europe never helped Biafra but now the Jewish State of ISREAL is showing signs of helping IPOB poorly educated morons without even the benefit of the most rudimentary knowledge of Biblical edicts are yapping their usual rubbish online. Biafra like ISREAL will be a nation of all faiths.

All religions will be welcome but the overarching faith will be Biafra Tradition Religion based on adoration of the one true God the Creator Chukwu Okike Abiama which is Africanized Judaism if you don’t know.

Reason before you comment!

IPOB PRESS RELEASE: GRAND OPENING OF IPOB HEADQUARTERS IN GERMANY, WHERE BIAFRA REFERENDUM WILL BE LAUNCHED FROM

December 1, 2017

IPOB Press Statement

Due to increased global awareness generated by the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the need to effectively harness the positive attention this has brought on the activities of our movement, we the family members of IPOB and it's leadership worldwide wish to proudly announce the public opening of our brand new official world administrative headquarters of the Indigenous People of Biafra by the Deputy Leader Uche Mefor and all members of the ruling Directorate of State (DOS) on the 8th and 9th of December 2017 in Langenfeld Germany.

This ceremony will demonstrate the commitment and zeal of the worldwide family of IPOB to meet the administrative challenges of our renewed diplomatic offensive and demands of the upcoming mid-2018 independence referendum of the territory of Biafra. It will also serve as notice to all friends and well wishers of Biafra that Langenfeld Germany is now the one and only officially recognised world headquarters of IPOB from which every authentic information regarding the agitation for Biafra liberation will emanate from. The public is hereby warned to desist from corresponding with any other office except the one in Langenfeld Germany.

We however must point out that IPOB have official regional liaison offices in London United Kingdom, Tel Aviv Israel, Ankara Turkey, New Delhi India, Los Angeles California USA with many more expected to open in major countries of the world before the last quarter of 2018. These offices will continue to serve as regional points of contact but are not authorised to issue any diplomatic directive. That prerogative is the exclusive preserve of the world headquarters in Langenfeld Germany under the direct supervision of Mazi Chika Edoziem the Head of the Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra. Any correspondence from any other quarter not sanctioned by Langenfeld Germany and signed by Mazi Edoziem should be regarded as fake and inauthentic.

As we are preparing for Biafra referendum next year, we are expecting every Biafran both home and abroad to begin the crucial sensitization and education of not only Biafrans but non Biafrans alike. IPOB is working tirelessly hard round the clock in every major country and continent of the world to restore the dignity and sovereignty of the Republic of Biafra. All persons must be disciplined and alert at all times because we know the Nigerian government may seek to use some gullible people to open a rival office in a European country as they did with the fake Biafra radio broadcasting on shortwave in furtherance of their quest to divide, destabilise and demystify IPOB. Our legendary discipline, which has today made us the preeminent freedom fighting movement in the world today, must be maintained at this critical period. Corrupt politicians, worried at the impact and level of compliance with our election boycott in Anambra State will stop at nothing until a significant proportion of Biafrans succumb to their pressure to take money and abandon the quest for Biafra freedom as some groups have done.

This Biafra independence struggle championed by IPOB, led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, dead or alive, is resolute and determined to restore Biafra regardless of the human and material cost.

We are calling on all Biafrans, especially those in Europe, friends of Biafra, lovers of freedom, men and women of goodwill across the globe, to come and be part of this epoch making event in Germany on 8th and 9th of December this year.

Biafra: UN Foreign Aid And The Northern Leaders’ Conspiracy

By Onoja Christian Obinna & Eluwa Chidiebere || For Biafra Writers

November 11, 2017

It is worthy to take notes of why there have been incessant malnutrition, high rate of poverty, high rate of diseases and above all the increased spate of terrorism in the northern hemisphere of the Nigerian territory.

Nigeria is a division of three major regions which consists of the Eastern, Western and Northern regions. The northern region have led the country politically more than any other region since her independence in 1960 from the colonial masters, the British government, followed by the Western region and the Eastern region which have always strived to contribute their own leadership quota for the wellbeing of the Lugardian empire but have been fought against consistently.

Despite the inability of the Eastern region to secure a major political seat in the country, it has remained the most peaceful and non-violent region and their people being so industrious in nature have always taken it upon themselves to develop every other regions of Nigeria to the detriment of their own land.

Taking into cognizance that majority of the resources that Nigeria is dependent upon both human and material, natural and artificial comes from the East, the people have received the highest rate of inhumane treatment politically and otherwise yet their joy of living and the zeal to develop any region they set their foot upon have never been deterred as they keep focused and believing God in any situation they find themselves without bearing grudges unlike other regions which are always envious of their unmatchable successes.

An instant enemy of the Northern region is any person from the East who has the temerity to oppose this unfair and deliberate imbalances and skewed system or anyone who is standing as a clog in the wheel of their continuous dominance in the oil and gas sector which is the biggest unifying factor in the country.

Being always on the leadership seat since after gaining independence, the Northern region have shown their incompetence in leadership having failed in all ramifications to address the challenges bedeviling the country which includes the rate of poverty and controllable diseases that have always swept the region. Their inherent parasitic nature have made them to remain very envious of the unquenchable successes of the Easterners even when the country’s constitution was written to favour them.

The northern leaders having sworn to continually impoverish the region and expose their people to all manner of diseases so as to earn them international sympathy, have continually device means to extort from the United Nations (UN) and world philanthropists like The Bill Gates foundation and many others. This undisputed assertion cannot be complete if the person who laid the evil foundation is not mentioned.

On October, 1960, Ahmadu Bello the then Sarduana of Sokoto and also the Premier of Northern region, in The Parrot Newspaper, openly laid down the foundation by telling the northerners that “this new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ‘ruthlessly’ prevent a change of power. We use the ‘minorities’ in the north as willing tools, and the south as conquered territory and never allow them to have control over the future’’. These minorities in the north are the poor northerners who are not Muslims and does not believe in Islam. The politicians sponsor them to form terrorist groups such as Boko Haram, Maitaisine, Ansaru, Fulani Herdsmen, et al, with the sole purpose of creating avenues to extort UN in the name of internally displaced persons (IDP), malnutrition, infrastructural developments which they deliberately caused themselves.

The quest to keep the region in a sympathetic mode and as well to drive the then government of Goodluck Jonathan out of power, was what gave birth to one of the most dreaded terrorist group in Africa (Boko Haram). From the interview granted to Lawal Keita a notable figure in northern part of Nigeria on October 2013 by the News Magazine when Goodluck Jonathan was the president could be used to justify the authenticity of this work.

Lawal Keita in the interview said, “Yes, automatically Boko Haram will disappear if the north gets the presidency by 2015. I am sure’’. To make this look as if they never used Boko Haram to torment the regime of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and to make this assertion with an ulterior motive from Lawal to look real and have an unbiased outlook in the world, they relocated and renamed the Boko Haram members to Fulani Herdsmen and this time, with another purpose- to Islamise the country.

The activities of Boko Haram terrorists have become the most lucrative business of the northern leaders through the many monitory assistance UN offers to the internally displaced persons (IDP) in the northern region and to pursue their political ambitions.

Using the military might under the then Chief of Army Staff, Major General Ihejirika, to quell the uprising of the Boko Haram group, the incumbent President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari who was appointed by the dreaded group as their 'negotiator' with the government, earlier said in 2011 that “any attack on Boko Haram is an attack against the north’’.

Reasoning logically into the above statement credited to President Muhammadu Buhari, you will find out that the actions of this terrorist group against the innocent populace is having the backings of the northern elites in other to earn from where they did not sow which have always been their modus operandi that have kept Nigeria in its present status.

It's high time the UN ask deep questions on the different uprisings in Northern Nigeria that have made them to spend huge amount of dollars every now and then which yields little or no result to the reasons why aids are disbursed to them.

Read Also: Biafra: The sudden calm over restructuring, could it be as a result of Kanu's absence?

It's quite necessary that the UN show up with clean hands of not been conniving with the northern elites to keep dehumanizing the people of the northern Nigeria by enriching their leaders whose desires have been to continually impoverish the people by sending them to their untimely graves just to receive aids from the international communities hiding under their predicaments perpetrated by the same elites.

It's actually due for UN to ask why all the aids are channeled towards the Northeast alone whereas many lives have been wasted in Benue and millions displaced from their homes because of the menace and nefarious activities of the Fulani herdsmen terrorists in the Middle-Belt of Nigeria yet no one is seeking for international support for them.

Finally, the earlier the world leaders, UN, international humanitarian bodies look into the aids channeled to northern Nigeria to ensure that its purpose is optimally utilized, the better for everyone, else it would be regarded that all the philanthropists that have contributed to the betterment of the poor masses in Nigeria are in conspiracy with the northern elites to keep killing the people to preserve a particular set of persons.

Above all, it is right to point it out clear to all monetary donors to Nigeria that it is because of their so-called assistance that there have been high rate of impunity from the leaders in the country as having thought of what life will become of them if Nigeria is divided. They all vowed to keep Nigeria one despite whatever it will cost them, all to the detriment of the desires of the people to be free from political bondage that have divided the country beyond repair.

Say no to international support for Nigeria's unity
Say yes to referendum for the people.
Freedom for the world.

Election Boycott: Why Anambra Must Take The Lead

By Onoja Christian Obinna || For Biafra Writers

November 8, 2017

It is worthy of sharing to keep enlightening the reasoning of our people as to why elections in Biafra land must be boycotted.

During the course of my evangelism for the Anambra State gubernatorial election boycott, I stormed on an Anambrarian who in his own opinion insisted that the election must hold otherwise, the indigenes of the State will suffer; then I asked him to state out his reasons and he quickly stated thus:
1. Why must it be Anambra in all things that concerns Biafra.
2. The Elites are not in support of Biafra Restoration.
3. The majority of the people calling for election boycott in Anambara are not Anambrarians, among many other minor reasons which I trashed out to his primary understanding.

Then I answered him chronologically inline to how he outlined his reasons thus.
1. Why It must be Anambra:
History have made us to understand that Anambra is the father of the Igbo nation that is, it was from Anambra that all other Igbos emerged, being the land our progenitors occupied on their arrival to the hinterland of the River Niger. By right and ordinance, they are the first son of all Igbo tribes and no one can contend that.

Also, as the first son of Biafra, she have been saddled with the responsibility to shoulder all other tribes in Biafra land as such, God the Creator of Heaven and earth in His unmatchable wisdom have known that a day like 18th of November 2017, will come when he singled out the Anambra state gubernatorial election from other states of the Nigerian Federation just to honor that position of 'firstsonship'.

Read Also: Biafra: The sudden calm over restructuring, could it be as a result of Kanu's absence?

Above all, having exercised all peaceful means of freedom fighting known to humanity, the only option left is Civil Disobedience which coincidentally or divinely oriented, Anambra election presented itself as the first all important election in Biafra land since after Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which happens to be the umbrella body that is championing the restoration of Biafra nation, was granted bail.

More so, on his fear that the Federal government will use the boycotting of Anambra elections campaigned by IPOB to sanction Anambra state which will eventually trigger the suffering of all that resides in the state if allowed to become a success, I made him to understand that if truly the government will score any credit as regards to the boycotting of the election which as he insinuated will make Anambra people to suffer, looking at how dicey IPOB have made the Nigeria State to be and the massive support IPOB gains from Anambra, they would have kept quiet so that the people can 'stupidly' have a successful boycotting of the election for them to use it as an excuse to deal with Igbos and quench Biafra spirit forever but because they have seen that they have lost the game on arrival, that is why they have applied brute force to quench the evangelising spirit of the boycott knowing that it's success will spell a big doom to them.

2. Elites Not In Support For Biafra Restoration
On this, I laughed profusely after which I asked him one question which is:
Would you allow someone to take away your glass of wine from your hand knowing that if he does that you will not be able to recover it back whereas you know that you are still in need of the glass for your subsequent drinks?

Read Also: IPOB: Plot By The Attorney General Of The Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami To Brazenly Pervert The Course Of Justice

He emphatically thundered 'No' in response.
Then I told him that how would you expect the so-called elites to support the restoration of Biafra nation and abandon their source of income wherefore they know that in the new nation, they will not be recognized taking into account the atrocities they have committed against their own people just to enrich their personal pockets. Besides, who made them 'Elites' over the people?

As he grimaced at me, I made him to understand that even the so-called Rich men are not and will not be happy or be in support for Biafra restoration because Nigeria operates on a monopolistic kind of service or market for which when one climbs, he would not allow any other to come up which they vividly know that it will never be feasible in the new nation Biafra because Biafra will never encourage the syndrome of 'The Rich get richer and the Poor dies poorer', therefore because they know this, they resorted to complaining about what will be of their investments outside Biafra territory just to score cheap sympathy from the populace as if the universal law of properties protection outside one's country of origin will be abrogated just because Biafrans are seeking for their independence. Hypocrisy indeed!

3. People Calling For The Election Boycott Not Being Anambrarians:
I quickly drew his attention to what Igbos use to say; (Onye ji ejo kwaa nna, Na obughi Okpara gburu Nna) which translates to 'he who is buoyant enough can take the burial responsibilities of his father because it is not the first son that killed their father'.

But on a more realistic note, I asked him the yardstick which he used to draw to his conclusion because so long as the agitation to restore Biafra's sovereignty is concerned, Anambrarians have been championing the cause and for the many reasons that he have not keyed in fully doesn't mean that Anambrarians are against the restoration of Biafra through the ordered elections boycott.

In a conclusive note, having concurred to our interactions, I made him to understand that what a man does or is determined to do lies within inside his heart not just on what is said but we believe that come 18th November 2017, Anambra people will obey the Will of God and at the end, Biafra Sovereignty will be restored and the people of God will praise him in an unusual way.

All hail Biafra!
No to Nigerian elections!
Yes to Biafra Referendum!

Biafra: The sudden calm over restructuring, could it be as a result of Kanu's absence?

By Victoria. O. C. Agangan || For Biafra Writers

November 8, 2017

The outspoken leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, set the embers of Nigeria on fire, he gradually grew popular as no other African leader and broke the barricades that for years had set the pace for divide and rule.

The Nigerian government, northern Oligarchy, Eastern governors and the so-called elders in Ohanaeze Ndigbo, became irrelevant as multitudes trod the pathway for freedom and chanted BIAFRA!

He shook the unscrupulous elements and interlopers that founded a country fraudulently built and grounded on greed, deception and corruption. Therefore, the political contractors trembled and began chanting RESTRUCTURING!

How hypocritical of these political jobbers who tirelessly exhibited their cunning skills in their efforts to derail and stop Nnamdi Kanu without success.

They could not believe the effrontery with which he rejected various bribes and enticing offers just to renounce Biafra and stop its agitation. He was not of their made, therefore, they plotted to eliminate him.

Amidst, the restructuring saga and devilish schemes to unitedly commit extrajudicial killings, the Nigerian government in conjunction with her military python danced and left many pelted with poisoned bullets, missing and unaccounted for. Mazi Nnamdi has neither been seen nor heard since the military invasion in his home and Umuahia on 14th September, 2017.

His father's throne has been desecrated, and his parents are also missing in the desperate bid by the Buhari-led scheme of military python dance.

Alas, the whole hullabaloo about restructuring has died an impromptu death. The voices advocating for her survival have suddenly gone dumb and the case seems closed.

This is the typical Nigerian style and why, she will die out without remedy. She is based and focused on silencing opposition, conquering other regions for their northern selfish gains as well as enforcing their ways into our systems.

This is not a country for honest people but a dungeon or hideout for political robbers who milk the poor dry, they take hold of other regions' resources and leave them impoverished. These cabal lack pity for the defenseless.

Their children suffer, the youths roam about and often they are bundled off to unknown destination. What a woeful country to belong in.
No one is chanting Restructuring anymore, can anyone tell me why or was it the perfect distraction used to confuse the call for Biafra?

BIAFRA is a spirit, she can never die! We get stronger by all these and by the grace of Chukwu Okike, we can never be daunted. Even in the absence of the IPOB leader, we say LET BIAFRA GO!

We are not interested in One Nigeria, nor restructuring, all we are saying: GIVE US BIAFRA!

BIAFRA: ECOWAS VERSUS NIGERIAN SUPPOSED DAMAGE PAYMENT

By Victoria. O. C. Agangan || Biafra Writers

October 3, 2017

I am so pissed with the new development on payments and I crave to ask the duo of Nigeria and ECOWAS, what they are up to in this new scheme for payment!
Are they trying to say we are so cheap and money conscious that 88bn will buy our silence on Biafra restoration or our conscience to forget the death of over 3 million Biafrans, our people killed in that horrible war?

We have a pending court case with them and they have consistently adjourned it without serious attention been given to it, they have systematically denied us rightful verdict and coming around now to ask Nigeria to compensate just like that is an insult to our integrity and intelligence.
Let me ask, who are these victims they intend paying to?

How about the dead and long forgotten heroes? Who will account for them?
How about Biafran children scattered all over the place and separated permanently from their land of birth, displaced, with changed identities? Who will recover them?
Was it not this same year, 30th May, 2017 that hundreds of Biafrans were ambushed and killed in cold blood by the joint military personnel of Nigeria at Nkpor, for coming to honor our fallen heroes?
What has changed? Why this sudden urge to compensate instead of granting us REFERENDUM? ECOWAS, what are you playing at?

Read Also: IPOB PRESS RELEASE: ONLY REASON GOV. OKEZIE IKPEAZU IMPOSED CURFEW IN ABIA DURING OPERATION PYTHON DANCE WAS TO KILL NNAMDI KANU AND DESTROY IPOB

Have you not heard that our leader whose case is in your court has been missing since September 14th when the Nigerian military python danced into his residence? Why have you not asked them to present him - dead or alive?

I simply want an answer from you because I need to know who presented Nigeria, the bill of compensation for a war which its cost, financially, mortally, morally, infrastructurally etc have not been ascertained.

How did you come about these figures as payment?
The seized wealth of Biafrans after a war that was declared “No Victor, no vanquished” where are they? How much was it?

When did Buhari’s administration repent from killing Biafrans? Who will compensate for these recent killings by the Nigerian government/ military of peaceful protesters and IPOB members?
How about those incarcerated in several jails across the nation?
This hypocrisy is unacceptable and must be condemned by all good people of Biafra.
We have not negotiated for recompense. There cannot be negotiations without our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu

There is no need to mock us this way because we moved on several years ago without recompense.
We do not want one now.

All we are saying is GIVE US FREEDOM! GIVE US BIAFRA!

Make Referendum our recompense if you really care about Biafrans.
No election in Biafra land until this is done!

IPOB PRESS RELEASE: HAVING LOST OUT ON EVERY FRONT, OHANAEZE NDIGBO AND SOUTH EAST GOVERNORS SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO IPOB

November 2, 2017

IPOB PRESS STATEMENT

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the greatest prophet, seer and visionary of all time, note with sadness and utter humiliation, the belittling of Ohaneze Ndigbo, South East Governors and the entire Eastern political class over the rejection of an Igbo man for the lowly position of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) by Buhari's administration. Despite lobbying discreetly and openly for this somewhat inconsequential position of SGF for months, the entire political class in the South East were roundly rebuffed by Major General Muhammadu Buhari, who instead gave the position to another Northerner. This has left the supposed apex socio-cultural organisation to take to the pages of newspaper to vent their frustrations at Buhari. A very unedifying spectacle unworthy of leaders of a once proud and gifted race.

To make matters worse, this public rejection of Ohaneze Ndigbo and repudiation of the values of the Igbo political elite by the Buhari administration is confirmation, if such were needed, that the hasty proscription and banning of IPOB was a costly mistake on their part. They failed to appreciate that without the impetus and urgency that IPOB provided, any request made to the Government of Nigeria to right the injustices meted out to Easterners is bound to fail. Chief Nnia Nwodo and the 5 South East governors should, without delay, apologise to the people for misleading them into thinking that sacrificing IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu will appease the core North to the extent of granting them their sole wish of Igbo political appointments into Buhari's administration.

It is imperative to state for record purposes, that it was the proscription of IPOB by Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors that gave the military the impetus to hastily tag IPOB a terrorist organisation. We must not also forget that it was this same request for political appointment into the office of the SGF that led Ohaneze and South East governors to sanction Operation Python Dance II with its attending deaths and imprisonment without trial of IPOB family members. Our ancestors will be turning in their graves to think that the blood of 92 young men and women- 28 of them killed in Kanu’s compound, were sacrificed for the promise of mere political appointment that never materialised. This is the worst humiliation our people have had to endure for nearly 50 years. A once proud race has been reduced, through poor political calculation, to trading the blood of their children in exchange for nonexistent political appointment.

Hopefully this humiliating episode in the history of our people will teach all and sundry a lesson that leadership requires a lot more than making yourself acceptable to your enemies in return for material gain. Freedom is a painstaking and arduous process of sacrifice, even when it may appear expedient to take the compromised easy way out.

With this shameful episode, the Igbo political class have now lost out on every front, because they chose to destroy the only hope of the people, IPOB, just to prove to Arewa core North how loyal they are. As at today, Igbo political actors don't have independence, they don't have confederation, they don't have much vaunted restructuring, no second Niger Bridge, Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway is not fully rehabilitated, Enugu-Onitsha Expressway is getting worse by the day, no infrastructural development and finally their much cherished SGF has eluded them too. They can now see that only IPOB has the solution to the plethora of problems bedevilling our people in Nigeria today. It is never too late for Ohaneze Ndigbo leadership and South East Governors to say they got their priorities wrong.

Biafra: Gowon's Indefensible Lies Against Ojukwu And The Contortions Of The Aburi Accord

By Chikwas Onu Ikpe || For Biafra Writers

October 31, 2017

The former Head of State of Nigeria, Yakubu "Jack" Dan-Yumma Gowon should be in the dock for the liability of 'defamation of the dead' [Ojukwu]; and answerable to the most brutish (genocidal) crime against humanity, that engulfed a good number [3.5 million] of the Biafran populace via the Nigeria-Biafra War.

The Aburi Accord which was reached on January 4 and 5, 1967, at a meeting attended by representatives of both the then Federal Military Government of Nigeria, led by General Yakubu Gowon, and the then Eastern region's leader Lieutenant Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu (of the blessed memory), at Aburi in Ghana; proffered a last chance of shrinking an out-and-out combative war between the Eastern Nigeria and the rest of Nigeria.

In all likelihood, the infraction of the Accord steered the despicable carnage of the civil war. However, anybody who was present at the Aburi meeting or has read the proceedings, the bulletin, edicts, and literatim reports would be astounded how Yakubu Gowon who acclaimed himself as a head of state could do so without qualms, pervert an official approbation that has his imprint. Upon Gowon's return to Nigeria, his duplicitous implementation of an important provision of the Accord were in toto at variance with the Aburi agreements. The super "bureaucrats" swayed him to hurl the agreements.

Read Also: IPOB: Plot By The Attorney General Of The Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami To Brazenly Pervert The Course Of Justice

After half a century, Gowon should at least be repentant for committing the most untamed, vicious (genocidal) crime; but gathered the gutsiness to calumniate the reputation of the hallowed memory of our valiant Hero, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. Gowon has lied through his teeth; saying that he was determined to keep the country united by "assuaging the South-East," are gibbers of fairy tales full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Indeed, they are empty rhetorics intended to mitigate the villainous crime he had committed.

The conclusions in Aburi were no proposals but decisions, not without the imprimatur of the Supreme Military Council. Distinct matters were endorsed; the decrees and sections of decrees to be repealed, the mechanics of army reorganization, and the question of rehabilitation of displaced persons. Nonetheless, Gowon decided in antithesis to dissolve the regional structures, and the constitutional conference (that should have continued/drafted a new constitution for Nigeria - as was accorded in Aburi); and then unilaterally geared up towards the creation of 12 states.

On the reorganization of the army, Gowon has failed to explain to the world what he meant by the "army continuing to be under one command," when in the very Accord of his statement, he also speaks of an agreement to establish area commands corresponding with the existing regional boundaries. This contradiction in itself tells the truth, and one does not need to lapidate the point.

Read Also: Biafra: Where Are Those Voices Echoing The Deceit Called "Restructuring?"

Resultantly, these unveiled the concrete agenda for the breach of the agreement. Still and all, they opportunely labelled Ojukwu as the ambitious one, in contempt of unclouded evidence to the contrary. How can one who wanted a new constitution drafted and a reel back to civil rule be indicted of inciting a war?

Gowon has failed to inform the world that owing to the decisions taken at Aburi, the Federal government meant no more than the Supreme Military Council, "to which any decision affecting the whole country shall be referred for determination. Provided that where it is not possible for a meeting to be held, the matter requiring determination must be referred to Military Governors for their comment and concurrence." Hence, reneging on the Aburi Accord, this in particular, was borne out of his sheer megalomania and thirst for power; in cahoots with the elites in Lagos.

A crying shame on Yakubu Dan-Yumma Gowon; the self-acclaimed originator of 'Nigeria Prays' foundation, for stirring up such a barefaced lie on the untainted reputation of our supreme warlord. History will ever be unkind to you. It is never too late; you must surely pay your pound of flesh.

We remain who we are. WE ARE BIAFRANS!

IPOB: Plot By The Attorney General Of The Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami To Brazenly Pervert The Course Of Justice

October 26, 2017

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to draw the attention of the world to the troubling absence of the presiding judge, Justice Kafarati, in the hearing of the application for the dismissal of the order he granted proscribing IPOB. What this underlines is a premeditated plot by the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Abubakar Malami to brazenly pervert the course of justice. Both the AGF and Justice Kafarati aided by their South East collaborators obtained an illegal backyard order banning IPOB activities,p but now the time has come for that order to be interrogated in an open court, the AGF has engineered the absence of Justice Kafarati from his own court so that the case will not be heard.

From a brief interface with our lead counsel Bar. Ifeanyi Ejiofor within the premises of the Federal High Court Abuja on the 23rd day of October, 2017, we observed with deep concern the manifest case of perversion of justice by the AGF, acting in accord with the judiciary of Nigeria, to sustain the unsustainable tag of terrorism against IPOB until their illegality can find acceptability or justification in the eyes of the public with the passage of time.

It is our findings that:

1. The Ex-parte Order proscribing IPOB and designating it a terrorist group was applied for by the Federal Government on the 20th day of August, 2017, and same was granted in chambers by the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court. It should also be noted that hearing applications in chambers connotes proceedings conducted with utmost secrecy without the respondent (IPOB) present. This procedure can only be used in limited circumstance as it is a process widely regarded within legal circles as inimical to cardinal principle of fair hearing.

2. This Order was granted barley two (2) days after the Military Authority unilaterally and illegally declared that IPOB, is a “Terrorist Group”. This illegal declaration was promptly retracted by Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai following the criticism that trailed their unconstitutional pronouncement.

3. On the 21st day of September, 2017, counsel to IPOB (Bar. Ifeanyi Ejiofor) applied for the Certified True Copies of the processes filed and exhibits relied upon by the Federal Government. This request was approved same day by the Deputy Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court, who recommended the approval of the Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court be sought before the processes will be processed in line with the established practice of the Court and handed over to Bar. Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

4. The said application was never approved by the Acting Chief Judge, Justice Kafarati until 25 (Twenty five days) later. This begs the question, why would Justice Kafarati who gave the order banning IPOB within 30 minutes, delay a full 25 days before approving an application challenging his ruling, if he was not biased.

Application was filed by IPOB counsel on the 22nd day of August 2017, requesting the Court (Justice Kafarati) to vacate the Exparte Order he made on the 20th day of August, 2017, purportedly proscribing IPOB.

As was widely reported, the Government proceeded to gazette the Order the very same day the black market order was granted by Justice Kafarati, an obvious arrangement between the executive and judiciary to pervert the course of Justice.

A communication was transmitted to the office of the Chief Judge on the 25th day of August, 2017 by the IPOB Lawyer, informing him of the urgent need to assign a date for the hearing of the application. This application was ignored by the Justice Kafarati the Acting Chief Judge, as no date was given until 13 days after a reminder letter was sent to him and 15 days after the application was filed. It was on the 4th day of October, 2017 that Justice Kafarati reluctantly scheduled the application for hearing on the 23rd day of October, 2017.

It is expected that a senior judge and Acting Chief Judge for that matter in the person of Justice Kafarati ought to be fully aware of his October official engagements/undertakings at the time he gave a date for the hearing of IPOB application. It is therefore baffling and most troubling that Justice Kafarati did not sit on the day the matter was scheduled for hearing, neither did his chambers communicate IPOB lawyers that the hearing will not hold. It is even more distressing when we reliably gathered that the office of the Attorney General of the Federation was in regular communication with the officials of the Court at the time a new date for the hearing was being arranged on the 23rd day of October, 2017.

Going by the above unethical antecedents of both Justice Kafarati the Acting Chief Judge and AGF Abubakar Malami, the hearing was deliberately fixed on a day Justice Kafarati knew he would be travelling outside the Nigeria for a one week seminar.

It is a known fact, even to the unintelligent that had Justice Kafarati sat on this matter on the 23rd day of October, 2017, the application seeking the dismissal of the Exparte Order he granted on the 20th day of September, 2017, would have been granted, since same was not being challenged by the Attorney General of the Federation. The public must note this very crucial fact that as at today, Buhari's administration is yet to file a counter to IPOB submissions before the court. That being the case, it is assumed in law that they have no defence and therefore not contesting the application by IPOB. Had Justice Kafarati sat on the 23 October 2017, he would have had no choice in law than to rule in favour of IPOB by vacating his obnoxious order.

It should also be noted that the office of the Attorney General of the Federation despite being duly served with the IPOB Lawyers’ application seeking the vacation of the Order proscribing IPOB on the 22nd day of August 2017, has never filed any Counter Affidavit in opposition to the IPOB application. This is the primary reason why Justice Kafarati claimed he traveled out of Nigeria. This will mark Nigeria out as one of those countries where a Chief Judge is actively colluding with the executive arm of the government to pervert the course of justice.

Future developments in this case will no doubt reveal the conspiracy between the executive and judiciary to alter the natural course of justice. If the Attorney General of the Federation later files any response to the IPOB application on or before the 14th day of November, 2017 that this matter is scheduled to be heard, then it will be an unimpeachable proof of manifest legal gang up between the executive and judicial arms of Government of Nigeria against IPOB.

The absence of any legal representation from the office of the Attorney General of the Federation on the day this application was originally scheduled to be heard being the 23rd day of October, 2017, has more to it than meets the eye.

The entire civilised world is keenly watching as this drama unfolds.

Our advice remains that the Acting Chief Judge should most humbly recuse himself from this case on grounds of manifest bias and conflict of interest.

BIAFRA: MAZI NNAMDI KANU, THE GAME CHANGER

By Princewill Akubumma || For Biafra Writers

October 26, 2017

The political system and style of governance in Nigeria since after the Biafra war has remained a dirty game of maintaining the status-quo which is only pleasing the Caliphates, and their cronies who survives by unlawful accumulation of wealth from the tax payers' money and the looting of public treasury with impunity by the so-called elites and rulers. This explains the reason why these Nigerian politicians can terminate the lives of innocent civilians in order to rig their way into the corridors of power, and once they find themselves having this power, they make every necessary plans to continue rotating themselves in that power which is why they always moved from being a State governor to a senator and from the Senate to being a minister and returning back to their various states to participate in governorship elections again after spending so many years at the federal level.

They were not contesting in order to change the ugly situation surrounding their constituencies and states, they don’t care whether the bad roads were fixed or not, they don’t care about the unemployment crisis and joblessness being suffered by the graduates, they don’t care about the dilapidated states of the public primary schools and health care centers across their states and constituencies, all they ever cared for is their pockets, and that of their families and co-travelers.

They are not being chosen by the poor electorates in the street most of the times, because they always rigged themselves into power to continue with their stealing and looting of public funds and stashing them away in foreign banks. They travel outside the shores of the country at will every weekend with the red passports squandering the tax payers' money in order to enjoy the infrastructures that has been put in place by their fellow politicians and leaders of those countries who always have the welfare of their people at heart. All these they have continued to do for the past 50 years and counting, the political game they have been playing remains business as usual.

For these past 50 years, the Nigerian youths especially of the Biafran extraction had been going through hell, and they have been praying and hoping for someone who can liberate them from the shackles of unemployment and destitution, frustration and marginalization which are the trademarks of the greedy politicians who are busy recycling themselves in the corridors of power, bribing their ways forth and back to public offices even after they had reached the retirement stage. All these and more has been the ordeals of every Nigerian youth especially graduates who were supposed to be occupying those offices and apply their God-given talents in nation building, but they were constantly denied these opportunities and left to fend for themselves with any means necessary. The youths got frustrated that some of them began to play the dirty games out of no good opportunity and frustration for those political rogues who has converted them to tugs and instruments of election violence in order to clinch their political aspiration with hook or crook and by all means.

Although, in their closets, these youths who were being used to commit all these atrocious crimes are always praying for a game changer to come to their aid, for a redeemer to come and salvage the situation, because even the peanuts and stipends given to them after committing such crimes is not usually enough to cater for their house rent, electricity bills and other personal needs. So deep down their innermost desires, they needed a saviour so badly.

Then, out of nowhere comes that game changer, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, a charismatic enigma, so iconic and phenomenal into the game field and everything changed overnight! After putting him to test on every side and finding out he is incorruptible and unbribeable, these youths and elders made him their Supreme leader whom they trust and whom they could rely on.

Perceiving that they are in one big almighty mess, those who have been in the game, grew restless and plotted for devious ways to eliminate him by all means. But before they could realize what game he (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) has come to play, it was already too late for them because he has already radicalized over 70 million Biafrans both home and abroad and opened their minds and their eyes to see what they should know, and to realize that the most precious gift one could ever have is one's freedom. These 70 million followers of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been patiently waiting to hear from their Supreme leader since after the Nigerian Military invasion of his hometown and residence in Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia on the 14th day of September 2017.

The power that be must understand that they don’t need any prophet to prophecy to them that the country Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb which its explosion is imminent as soon as the patience of these 70 million followers is exhausted or spent. Likewise those politicians of Biafra extraction who invited the army to eliminate their game challenger must also know that the hand of the clock is ticking and narrowing down to a full stop someday when all hell will be let loose. Although, it appears now they are having a field day over their evil plots and subsequent proscription of IPOB which they thought has yielded a positive result, but unfortunately, they never knew what awaits them on that day of reckoning which is fast approaching. Biafrans all over the world are telling them to prevail on their colleagues in Aso Rock to bring back their leader now that they still have the time or risk losing their families and homes as they have done to the IPOB leader.
