Regional Policing: Nigeria Heading the Way of Yugoslavia, Southeast Least Prepared

February 6, 2020

Princewill Akubumma | For Biafra Writers

Yugoslavia, before its disintegration, practiced a mixture of socialism and federalism. Of all the nations lumped together in that one state, the Serbs – just like the Nigerian Fulanis – dominated every sector of the government and the army. They oppressed other regions and tried to keep them from seceding. Yet a time came when Slovenia and Croatia, having had enough, opted out.

The Serbs, dominant of the state, tried to stop them, but the seceding duo pushed on with referendum after which arms struggle became inevitable. Blood was shed, souls were lost, yet both Slovenia and Croatia achieved independence, leading to a total disintegration of Yugoslavia and the emergence of eight separate states.

A cross-examination of the situation in the Nigerian state today will show that the Zoo mistaken for a country is headed the way of Yugoslavia. The incessant killings by the Islamic foot soldiers in the guise of Fulani herdsmen, the unprecedented procurement of arms by Miyetti Alla, the Fulanization of the army and every other government sector, are all a replica of the Serbian attitude which plunged Yugoslavia into a disaster from which it never recovered.

The western part of the country – the Yoruba – has already floated its own security arm – the Amotekun. There’s no gainsaying that Amotekun is a reaction to the insecurity in the country created by the dominant and subjugating Fulani Islamic fundamentalists. Amotekun is a Yoruba army in disguise. The west knows what is to come and unlike the insensitive subservient lots in the East masquerading as Igbo leaders, they don’t want to be taken aback.

The failed British experiment called Nigeria is made up of three regions – North, East and West. The North is the aggressor, the West by way of floating Amotekun seems prepared, but the East? Just like the people of Bosnia in disintegrated Yugoslavia, the East, rather than equip self against the coming tempest, deludes self with political correctness and phantom peace.

The East either purges self of the docile pathogens or suffers the fate of Bosnia – the worst affected region of the Yugoslavian conflict. The line of division between the riverine area and the hinterland as drawn by the Nigerian government in connivance with the British must be quickly erased and the people united to form a common front capable of rebuffing the northern aggression. A stitch in time, they say, saves nine.

Amotekun: The Last Straw that Broke the Camel's Back

January 26, 2020

By Christopher O Evans | Biafra Writers

Nigerians will pretend to be unaware until you hit the limit of absurdities. Nearly five years now they sheepishly followed Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd) and allowed him to revel in the gale of dominant and untouchable warrior. He privatized, Muslimized, northernized, and fulanized governance with brazen impunity. The southwest have answered him with Amotekun. Then his fulanized supreme court responded with yet another spurious verdict on Imo state election petitions.

The apex court created its own results by which it delivered a ruling in which the number of votes exceeded the number of accredited voters. It delivered that verdict to confirm to Nigerians that the man Buhari foisted on the apex court lacked basic knowledge of arithmetic. He was a sharia judge. Tongues are wagging. Masses are out on the streets protesting. But beyond the entire abracadabra lies the evident truth that Nigerians have taken a stand to resist the tyrant.

The southwest spoke with Amotekun. Just yesterday a team of Monarchs from both the hinterland and riverine areas of Biafra who paid a condolence visit to the home of the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra,  IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, spoke boldly in support of Biafra. They seem fed up with being treated as second rate in their own homes. Prof. Itse Sagay, if anyone has noticed, has recently been voicing displeasure over the mistreatment of southern Nigeria. The cookies are crumbling.

MORE NEWS: Nigeria Government Financing Terror

The Buhari government has helped in no small measures to advance the course of IPOB. Any southerner who is yet to realize that we have been enslaved all the while by the Fulani north must be an irredeemable moron. The west is not going back on Amotekun, and the east is not going back on the independent state of Biafra. The first step to self-reliant state is to have a strong military. The southwest just inaugurated its own army.

Second is to orientate that army and equip it. Third is to call for a peaceful negotiated exit, or you call the bluff of the authority. You are able to defend yourself.

Things are moving so fast now, and the new independent Biafra may come sooner than we imagined. We have to get ready. We have to start working on the development and industrialization blueprints. We have to start working on what kind of military and police force we want. We have to start mapping out the region and how to hit the ground running. We have to start working on what kind of education we want for our children. We must not be caught unprepared.

In one of my previous articles, I asserted that the coming of Biafra is now inevitable. Nigeria’s breakup is imminent. The losers will be northern Nigeria. However much they have taken out of the southern region cannot help it. Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, and bandits – terrorist organizations now assembled as Jihad army for Islamic conquest of the south – will turn around to destroy the north.

Biafra will survive because it will be led by a liberator, not a politician. The liberator who lost both parents in the course of the struggle would want to prove a point by taking Biafra to the summit of economic, technology and military power. He would want nothing else.

The Bait of 2023 Presidency

APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu visits President Muhammadu Buhari at State House, Abuja.

January 20, 2020

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu  | Biafra Writers

Recently, the social media has been awash with headlines bothering on the supposed tribe to produce the president come 2023 general elections in Nigeria. The north, understanding that both the East and the West are politically naïve, now uses the presidential seat as bait for the two sides.

While the North prides self as the giver (not forgetting the claim that they are born-to-rule), the Southeast and Southwest shamelessly beg to receive. The question of who owns Nigeria is thus elaborately answered. The North gets what they want not by begging but by declaration. Only the North does that.

The recent statement by the president about having no intention to run for a third term should be understood. A president who is serving out his second tenure making such utterance is quite significant. The statement, if properly analyzed, is suggestive of the fact that the North is not ready to abdicate the office of the presidency to either of the divides at the Southern hemisphere.

Recent events have shown that the North is using the presidency as bait to both Southeast and Southwest. What then could be their motive? What does the North stand to achieve in making the East and the West fight each other over the 2023 presidential slot?

RELATED NEWS: Biafra: Igbo Presidency, a Misplaced Priority

If the North succeeds in causing a serious rift between the two sides, many gains can be harvested from the conflict. One of such gains is the continuation of President Muhammadu Buhari in office. Secondly, the Southeast and Southwest can be presented to the world as incompetent people that shouldn’t near the seat of presidency in Nigeria. With that, the born to rule mentality that has been nursed in the mind of every Northerner will become established.

When one looks at this from the direction of conquest, it makes more sense. The North understands that embarking on conquest of these areas without first causing the two sides to fight each other will spell doom for them. There's no gain attached to any region becoming the president of the country. Presidency is beneficial to only the North because the North owns the country as made possible by the colonial masters.

Operation Amotekun: What Igbo Leaders Should Learn

January 17, 2020

By Christopher O. Evans | Biafra Writers

The creation of southwest security outfit, AMOTEKUN, is a direct message to the Islamic federal government that the west of the country won't accept its larger plan of arming Fulani jihadists and throwing Nigeria borders open to welcome more reinforcements. We're in a country where Fulani jihadists are armed with assault rifles and allowed to roam freely. Thousands have been slaughtered by them, communities have been razed down, and more mayhem promised. After each killing campaign, Miyetti Allah, the umbrella body of Fulani herdsmen, will address press conference flanked by the Nigerian police.

TY Danjuma has since been screaming that the current Nigerian leadership has a sinister agenda. Of course, Danjuma should know for he has been up there with them. Obasanjo have added his voice too. And Obasanjo should know for he too has been there. It's also important that both Danjuma and Obasanjo are now realizing that they didn't fight for one Nigeria, instead, they fought for the subjugation of the rest by the caliphate.

The purpose of this article, however, is to awaken the consciousness of the Biafran to the unfolding events. Southwest have both political parties, APC and PDP, states. When it comes to issues that matter to them they united to pursue an aim. The national leader of APC, Tinubu, is from Lagos state. There is no one political leader, whatever party he or she belongs, that is opposed to Amotekun. It's something for the security of all Yoruba against the Federal Government. Yes, Federal Government.

Tinubu, having observed the caliphate’s intention to monopolize power, has thrown his weight behind Amotekun whose creation has sent a strong message to the Fulani oligarchy that its plan is unacceptable. This is not all about security – it's also about 2023 presidential race.

From the formative stage of Amotekun to its fruition, Yoruba political players and traditional leaders held several meetings, yet not one of them let the secret out. Not one saboteur! They didn't let in Joe Igbokwe or Loretta Onochie, however, they love the duo. The funding went smoothly. The recruitment and training went without notice. Perhaps because all attention was on IPOB. They spoke with one voice. The Fulani-led Federal Government found it difficult to deal with the matter because every Yoruba backed the move. Can the Igbo learn anything here? The greatest bane to our freedom is internal enemies.

Observe that whenever the Yoruba meet to discuss the all-important response to the Fulani-led Jihad plots, they do not advertise it. No one knows they are meeting. For instance, we just saw Amotekun, but we all know a lot of plans and meetings went into it. How didn't it leak? Igbos should learn to keep secrets. We call them cowards but their actions have spoken louder than words.

Since the floating of Amotekun, the Fulani-controlled Federal Government has been jolted. They just don't know how best to respond yet. And this tells the significance of Amotekun. The East can do it too if we can trust ourselves and work for ourselves. Biafrans have the widest of connections worldwide. But we need unity. We need oneness; we need ourselves; we need one voice; we need each other’s support; we need a rallying point, a rallying figure. We need one purpose, one dream, one pursuit, one mind. Our resources and strength of industry is an unmatched asset. The idea of wanting to swallow each other so as to hold sway is our greatest bane.

See how Tinubu follows Buhari at daytime but at nighttime turns to his people. This way they pulled this huge surprise. Not so with any of us. Once our people get a foothold on government they pitch tent with the caliphate. We’ve never had a set of dumb governors as we have now. The Fulani wish is their command. The great work of IPOB though is resetting the minds of millions of Igbo youths. This work is growing, and of course, cannot be ignored. The war against IPOB is a war no one can win. You can't muster huge resources against a course you think will end in vapors.

Operation Amotekun: History and events prove IPOB is always right

January 11, 2020 | The Biafra Times

IPOB Press Release

We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great and indomitable leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu commend South West governors, elders, stakeholders and politicians for their doggedness and courage to protect their people and their region from the evil hands of Fulani terrorists herdsmen and Nigeria government jihadi soldiers- the systematic strategy and effort of the ruling Fulani cabal to continually provide financial and logistical support to Fulani terrorists and Islamic extremists in military and police uniforms to rampage and kill innocent citizens at will.

This is not the first time in recent weeks that our leader's position and approach has been vindicated by events and utterances from other ethnic groups within Nigeria. The inescapable truth remains that Bishop Kukah's commendable utterances about the Jihadi intent of the present regime in Nigeria and the formation of a Yoruba vigilante by OPC are all lines of reasoning and event consistently canvassed and championed by IPOB in the past. The fact remains that Nigeria as presently constituted is the greatest threat to life and peace.

The Yoruba decision and effort to launch Operation Amotekun security outfit just like our leader launched BSS in 2017 is most commendable. What we find horribly appalling however is that those who were at the forefront of misrepresenting and condemning our leader for having the vision and foresightedness to challenge Fulani terrorism in Nigeria are today praise-singing the introduction of Amotekun. Even the shamelessly treacherous Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East Governors Forum that actively connived with their Fulani masters to launch a deadly military invasion of Biafraland on the back of the launch of BSS are today openly praising Yoruba leaders for backing OPC's Amotekun project when they themselves heartlessly sold out IPOB for a pot of porridge.

Notwithstanding the barefaced envy and jealousy directed towards IPOB by the Efulefu political class and sections of uninformed talking heads, we IPOB are delighted that we continue to set the pace of radical thinking and social change within and outside Nigeria. IPOB wholeheartedly welcome Amotekun and say good morning to those who out of ignorance, poor sense of vision, lack of reasoning and self-consuming jealousy fought against the formation BSS. They should cover their faces in shame if they have any face left after this.

We believe the time has come for all those who ignorantly questioned the modus operadi of IPOB and the vision of Biafra liberation as boldly preached by our leader to tender an unreserved public apology. History and events have continued to vindicate IPOB and its methods. The time has come for every sensible person and ethnic group to swallow their shame and publicly acknowledge that IPOB is always right.

Now that South-West Governors and politicians have openly and commendably armed and supported OPC militants to defend Yorubaland isn't this a clear indication that the black market and thoughtless proscription of IPOB by Fulani government supported by Ohaneze Ndigbo, South-East Governors and Lagos/Abuja politicians only succeeded in making the entire Eastern region a fertile ground for Fulani Jihadi expansionism and impetus for Miyetti Allah terrorism and territorial expansion? IPOB remains the one and only movement psychologically designed and primed to defend the entire East against any aggression from Fulani terrorists. This too is an inescapable fact.

It is about time people acknowledged openly and without shame that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is always right.

COMRADE EMMA POWERFUL MEDIA AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY FOR IPOB.
