IPOB dares Iwuanyanwu led Ohanaeze over shameful move to apologize to the caliphate

IPOB dares Iwuanyanwu led Ohanaeze over shameful move to apologize to the Fulani caliphate

...says Ohaneze Ndigbo has committed a sacrilege and abomination against Ndigbo and against all the indigenous peoples in Nigeria.

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

May 3, 2024 | The Biafran Times

The attention of the family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by the indomitable leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been drawn to the sacrilegious and shameful move by Ohaneze Ndigbo to apologize to the murderous Fulani Caliphate in what they called ablution and what they called (Ako na obi).

Ohaneze has crossed the red line by attempting to go and apologize to the Fulani terrorists for what the clueless Ohaneze called forgiveness from the Caliphate for Igbo military officers involvement in the 1966 coup that led to the death of Sir Ahmadu Bello. By the abominable planned visit of Ohaneze Ndigbo will be on record as aggressors instead of victims.

These redcap thieves in Ohaneze are morons and ignorant fellows that have allowed bribe money to take away their sense of reasoning.

These redcap thieves in Ohaneze are morons and ignorant fellows that have allowed bribe money to take away their sense of reasoning. These men are the household enemies of Ndigbo and other indigenous people in Nigeria.
Blood tasty Fulanis have murdered indigenous people of Biafra and Ndigbo from 1933, 1945, 1953 1966 till date, Indigenous People of Hausa, indigenous people of Yoruba, indigenous people of Middle Belt and other indigenous peoples in Nigeria. These murderous Fulanis have not apologized for killing millions of indigenous people in Nigeria. But the vampires in Ohaneze had efontry to planned to go and apologize to the Fulani Caliphate for the military coup of 1966.

The military coup of January 15, 1966 was carried out by young military officers from all ethnic groups in Nigeria to stop Mallam Ahmadu Bello and Abubarka Tafa Belawa from the  forceful Islamization of Nigeria. But Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu and other young military officers including those from Northern, Western saw this and stop them with Middle Belt regions stopped them in a bloody coup. Ndigbo never sent military officers to stage a coup for them or to murder on their behalf. Nevertheless, the 1966 coup that was carried out by the young military officers from all the ethnic groups in Nigeria was viciously tagged as Igbo coup. Why was the military coup led by Murtala Muhammed, Babangida, Buhari, Abacha and other Northern military officers not tagged Hausa or Fulani coup?

This bunch of Fulani handpicked traitors in Ohaneze, led by Iwuanyanwu have not boldly condemned the Fulanis murderous activities against Ndigbo but decided to make a caricature of Ndigbo's integrity by going to apologize to the murderers.

Ohaneze Ndigbo leadership has seen cash given by Fulani Caliphate to misrepresent Ndigbo and declare Ndigbo guilty of a crime that was no committed by Ndigbo. Ndigbo has been victims of Fulani massacre in the Northern Nigeria from 1933 till date. During the genocidal war of 1966 - 1970 millions of Ndigbo were massacred both pregnant women and unborn children. Still today Ndigbo are being slaughtered in their farms and homes by Fulani terrorists, case of recent Uzo Uwani of Enugu State is a case study. This bunch of Fulani handpicked traitors in Ohaneze, led by Iwuanyanwu have not boldly condemned the Fulanis murderous activities against Ndigbo but decided to make a caricature of Ndigbo's integrity by going to apologize to the murderers.

This is the height of insult not only to Ndigbo but also to all the indigenous people in Nigeria who have been victims of the sponsored Fulani terrorists attacks. If Ndigbo continues to allow these traitors called Ohaneze Ndigbo to continue parade themselves as leaders of Ndigbo, the lives and safety of Ndigbo is completely compromised, Iwuanyanwu and Co should know that nobody elected him, he should resign now before its become late. The Fulani handpicked treacherous leaders in Ohaneze are representing the interest of Fulani Caliphate not that of Ndigbo. It is time to stop the treacherous Ohaneze from parading themselves as representatives of Ndigbo. They were never appointed nor elected by Ndigbo but they selected and appointed themselves with the approval of their political Masters and Fulani leadership and Hope Uzodinma.

Ohaneze Ndigbo has betrayed Ndigbo. They betrayed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. They betrayed Peter Obi's presidency. Ohaneze are a bunch of handpicked Fulani political stooges who want to speak for Ndigbo without Ndigbo's consent.
Chief Iwuanyawu led Ohaneze faction are traitors. Hope Uzodinma and his Fulani Masters selected Iwuanyawu as Ohaneze president to do their bidding. These insatiable, potbelly political jobbers in Ohaneze do not represent the interest of Ndigbo.

The gullible men have been brainwashed by their Fulani Masters to apologize to them and take responsibility of atrocities on-behalf of Ndigbo for the actions of Nigeria military officers when some of them were not born.
Sometimes these insatiable fellows claimed that Igbo youths insult their Elders its now clear that they the cause of it.

How clueless and senseless these men can be for  political favours. If Iwanyawu led the Ohaneze ndioshi faction dare go ahead to criminalize Ndigbo with the so called apologies, they will attract serious consequences as long as IPOB is concerned.

If Ohaneze Ndigbo dare travel to the Northern Nigeria and apologize to the murderous Fulani Caliphate, IPOB will declare them persona non gratas.

The eagle eyes of IPOB are watching them and they will not go free for having such minds. If Ohaneze Ndigbo dare travel to the Northern Nigeria and apologize to the murderous Fulani Caliphate, IPOB will declare them persona non gratas. And an order will be given to treat anyone that identifies himself or herself as an Ohaneze Ndigbo member both at home and in Diaspora as a criminal and traitor and will be treated as one. Infact, going forward, Ohaneze Ndigbo hould stop speaking or representing Ndigbo. Chief Iwuanyawu your time has elapsed, Iwuanyanwu led Ohaneze faction are on their own as no Igbo person, group, association or community send them to apologize to the murderous Fulani terrorists and their sponsors. If Iwuanyanwu and his factional  group goes to Sokoto to apologize to the Fulani murderers, they should remain there forever. We reject them as Igbos from that point forward.

COMRADE EMMA POWERFUL,
MEDIA AND PUBLICITY SECRETARY FOR IPOB.

The Ohanaeze Cliff-hanger

The Ohanaeze Cliff-hanger

By David Umahi | For Biafra Writers

January 25, 2020

Ohanaeze Ndigbo – a group of washed-out politicians – has for many years propped itself up the ultimate Igbo group. By its current disposition, the group is currently in fierce battle to retain the façade of the sole group speaking for the Igbo. Contrary to its wishful thinking however, the group is at the moment in a cliff-hanger.

The group’s last change of leadership exposed secrets that suggestive of the fact that the group is but a shadow of itself. Although they resources are being deployed for damage control, the deed is already done.

In the view of many Igbos who commented on the group’s current quagmire, Ohanaeze has come to a Cul-de-sac, adding that the group has never been what it poses to be.

An Onitsha resident and public affairs commentator, David Tochukwu, believes that the group played a fast one when it attached “Ndigbo” to its name. Asserting that there is no Igbo representation in the group, Tochukwu described Ohanaeze as a gathering of unscrupulous politicians and retired Fulani stooges. Tochukwu accused the group of buying relevance by handsomely paying journalists and media houses to constantly mention the group in their reports.

Other commentators believe that the group sells out their own people to curry favour from Nigerian government. The rumour that George Obiozor – factional leader of the group – was the one that took Hope Uzodimma to the Fulani Caliphate for the supplanting of Emeka Ihedioha, lends credence to the accusations of sabotage against the group.

While in office, John  Nnia Nwodo – the group’s immediate past leader – masterminded Operation Python Dance – a military exercise that saw to the extrajudicial killing of hundreds of IPOB members.

The emergence of George Obiozor, largely perceived as a clear manipulation by the Fulani Caliphate through their stooges in governorship seats – Hope Uzodimma and cross-carpeting Dave Umahi, seems to have landed the group in a cul-de-sac.

IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu Faults Ohaneze, Southeast governors over Killing of Christians, Villagers

By Princewill Akubumma | Biafra Writers

June 29, 2020

The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has on Sunday the 28th of June, 2020, blamed the Southeast leaders and politicians over the incessant killings of villagers in their homes and farmlands across Southeast Nigeria by Fulani herdsmen. Kanu laid this blame through a worldwide broadcast on Radio Biafra London.

Kanu who was visibly angry over what he called 'a criminal silence' of the so called leaders, elders and politicians from the region wondered why it has become so difficult for the so-called leaders to make at least one press statement to condemn the killings, abduction and raping of little girls and mothers alike by the herdsmen. The IPOB helmsman argued that have the folks parading themselves as leaders in the Southeast have a modicum understanding of what leadership is all about, they would have made haste to put in place strategic plans to end the killings and bring justice to the families of the victims.

According to him, any leader or elder in any part of the world who is insensitive to the plight of his people does not deserve any respect from the people. He stressed that it is such gross insensitivity that birthed his constant verbal attacks on them, adding that his attacks are not out of hatred but a mental pull calculated to force appropriate authorities into rightful actions.

While the broadcast lasted, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu played two video clips confirming the killings in two towns of Anambra state. In one of the videos, a 22 years old girl from Agulu-Eri in Anambra West was abducted from their home by Fulani herdsmen. The abductors attacked their home and after injuring the mother severely and shooting sporadically, took away the girl. A second video showed how the herdsmen killed another young lady, dissected her and scattered her body parts all over the farmland.

Kanu decried the silence of Igbo leaders and elders, describing it as evil. He accused them of feigning ignorance for the fact that the people being killed are not their own children or immediate family members.

Speaking further, the IPOB Supreme Leader said that the so-called elders and politicians have sacrificed the lives and welfare of their own people for political gains, adding that such compromise emboldened the Fulani Janjaweed the more.

Ohanaeze President- General Knelt Down Begging Us To Make Him President- Junaid Mohammed

October 16, 2019  | The Biafra Times

Lagos – Elderstatesman and Second Republic federal lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed has revealed that North rejected the plea of John Nwodo, the President- General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo when he begged them to make him President.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Independent, Junaid said Nwodo came with a delegation from Enugu, while the meeting took place in the home of Lawal Jafaru Isa, former military administrator of Kaduna state.

He said they only laughed at Nwodo because the North does not support the culture of begging for positions.

He said “I haven’t seen an Igbo man that I will endorse for now. I will not endorse an Igbo man because all the people who are pretending are not serious and they have the history of being part and parcel of the family that brought  the civil war”.

“Are you telling me because John Nwodo is the president of  Ohanaeze I should ask people to vote for him? I will not”.

“He came all the way from Enugu state to meet our people with a delegation and we had a meeting in a house not very far from my house, he house of a former governor of Kaduna state,  Lawal Jafaru Isa”.

“We had a meeting there in which John Nwodo went on his knees begging us to make him President. We laughed at him. In our culture, you don’t come here and say you people should make me this or that. We allow people to point at you and say you are good to occupy certain positions”.

“Being the President is not a question of begging people” he said.

Biafra Heroes Day: Ohanaeze and the hood

May 11, 2019

By Johnson Nnabuife | For Biafra Writers

Now that the hood has finally fallen off the head of the group known as Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and the scale has fallen off the eyes of the Biafran people, the truth can no longer be hidden. The reality has hit the people that Ohanaeze is a fraud which has been pretending to love the Igbos and masquerading as the mouthpiece of the Igbos.

Two important questions now exist: “How will Biafrans handle the group, Ohanaeze?” and “What will Ohanaeze do?”
In reality, Ohanaeze is a minority group of Igbos who had since its inception managed to deceive the people into seeing it as a kaleidoscope of all other Igbo-Biafran groups, and as such, the mouthpiece of the people. That is why it dubiously brands itself as “the apex Igbo social-cultural group”. Unfortunately, many people, even beyond Igbo land, believed this lie.

But today, the people – especially Igbo-Biafrans – know better. The wind has blown, and the stump of the fowl has been exposed. This came as the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) declared the 30th of May this year, as Biafra Heroes Remembrance day, just as it had been doing since 2013. But Ohaneze and its partners in crime, the governors in Igbo land, spoke against it.

IPOB had declared that this year’s remembrance and sit-at-home event will be special because it will present a unique moment of shared pains and misery for all the families that lost their loved ones to war, hunger, starvation, disease, killings and state-sponsored terrorism currently going on in Nigeria.

READ ALSO: The Real Reasons Behind Igbo Leaders’ Antipathy to Sit-at-home Order

“We remember the heroic few that stood up against tyranny especially those that sacrificed their lives to defend the defenseless and those that lost their lives because there was no one to defend them.”

To prove its friendship and comradeship with other indigenous people suffering the atrocities foisted on them by the Fulani, in the British contrived contraption, IPOB invites them to join in the Remembrance Day. Fulani people are foreigners from Guinea, who the British placed as undertakers of the contraption as they pretended to have left Nigeria at independence.

This is why IPOB wrote: “The middle-belt and Yoruba brethren are advised to join this historic sit-at-home event to honour the memory of all that died unjustly in Nigeria. We are calling on all the people of Southern Kaduna, Middle Belt especially Benue, Adamawa, Nasarawa, Kogi, those affected by herdsmen terrorism in Ondo, Osun and other states in Yorubaland to join the great family of IPOB in observing a day of solemn prayer and sit-at-home, to remember those who lost their lives unjustly and unlawfully at the hands of Fulani terrorist herdsmen and murderous security agencies, even during the recently concluded fraudulent 2019 general elections.”

For many Biafrans, those cannot be said to be “too much” or an impossible request. But the nest of quislings known as Ohanaeze and the governors opposed it. This is why, while the people are determined to observe the Heroes Day – a practice that is recognized all over the world – they are still contemplating on what to do with the renegade group known as Ohanaeze and their governor friends.

Biafra: VOBS endorses proscription of Ohanaeze, S’East govs, election boycott

The Biafra Times | November 3, 2018

Biafran students under the umbrella body of Voice of Biafran Students (VOBS), recently converged in Anambra State for her routine general meeting. This was held through the instrumentality of joint Coordinatorship of Federal Polytechnic Oko, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu Universities.

Sequel to the incessant acts , f sabotage and impertinence of the Ohaneze Ndigbo socio-cultural group and their fellow accomplices in the Southeast governors towards the Biafra restoration effort of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, under the principal command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, we do hereby take some far-reaching decisions as stakeholders in Biafraland. The Student Wing of IPOB, standing on the platform of Voice of Biafran Students (VOBS) unanimously reached a consensus in our last meeting held on Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st October 2018, at Oko in Anambra State, to firmly support in no mistakable terms, the deserved proscription of Ohaneze Ndigbo socio-cultural group and the Southeast governors for the following reasons:

(1) The Ohaneze Ndigbo and the Southeast governors woefully failed to live up to the creed of proper representation cum interests of the Biafran indigenous people, especially the Igbos.

(2) These two bodies (Ohaneze Ndigbo and Southeast governors), shamelessly colluded with some compromised Igbo elders/politicians, to illegally proscribe the activities of the IPOB, thereby providing an enabling ground for the Nigerian government to label IPOB, a terrorist organization.

(3) They jointly orchestrated the Nigerian military invasion of Biafraland, wherein hundreds of Biafrans were gruesomely murdered via the ill-conceived military expedition tagged Operation Python Dance II. The residence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, at Afara-ukwu Ibeku in Umuahia, was murderously raided, on the 14th of September 2017, precipitating the death of armless, innocent Biafrans and colossal destruction of properties. This despicable act of state-sponsored terrorism will forever remain indelible in the memories of Biafra generations.

(4) The Ohaneze Ndigbo and the Southeast governors have continuously encouraged and facilitated the torture, humiliation, marginalization, massacre and other shades of degrading treatments against the people of Biafra by the Nigerian government.

(5) They have equally exhibited extreme dishonesty and betrayal to the Igbo nation particularly and Biafrans generally, towards the Biafra restoration struggle cum regional development.

(6) The Ohaneze Ndigbo socio-cultural group since it's inception has in no tangible way, helped in the promotion of any developmental program for the progress and betterment of the society.

(7) Since the inception of the fictitious democratic governance in the contraption called Nigeria as bequeathed to her by the military, the Southeast governors especially this present crop, have abysmally and shamelessly done nothing beneficial to help alleviate the sufferings of the Biafran people in this "life-strangulating union" called Nigeria.

(8) These self-serving political misfits have blatantly kept mute over the harsh and bizarre menace of the marauding Fulani killer herdsmen across Biafraland but rather, have persistently countered the rightful and peaceful protests of Biafrans seeking self-determination.

We, therefore, want to unequivocally state here that the Ohaneze Ndigbo with their Southeast governors partners-in-crime have earnestly outlived their jaundiced usefulness amongst decent humans. We hereby use this medium to advise these people to discard the illusion about the purported Nigeria Restructuring Mantra and the planned 2019 General Elections in the entire Biafraland. Biafran students are seriously mobilising for a total boycott of not just the election campaigns but the election proper.

We are at this juncture, making it obviously clear to them and the entire global community, that we have taken the bull by the horns, to employ all veritable and legitimate means that will better our tomorrow. We can no longer tolerate the evil wishes of these crass egocentric, blind and rapacious leaders of defunct Nigerian State.

As a people, wevare only remembered during electioneering seasons for campaigns (creating malicious online media platforms for mobilization), just for the purposes of servicing their insatiable political greed at our detriment. Despite the enormous time allowed them for repentance, they have defiantly continued to exhibit cluelessness and impudence.

The Biafran Students especially in Biafraland, have come to the realization that we are indisputably the hope of the nation of Biafra and therefore, the earlier we meaningfully, beneficially and collectively rechannel our intellectualism, the better for us all. We hereby in resoluteness and in one voice, say No to Ohaneze Ndigbo, No to Southeast Governors, No to Nigeria and No to her Elections in the entire Biafran territories. We strongly and affirmatively stand in solidarity with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide, we stand with the supreme leader of the IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. On anything election organized by Nigeria, we say No to in Biafraland until referendum is judiciously conducted for Biafrans.

Biafra Saboteurs Day: Nwodo, the prime saboteur to be remembered

Neferechi Ochiagha | For Biafra Writers

September 4, 2018

“I can’t allow that to happen to my people again. That is why I will be a saboteur in any attempt to levy another war on Igboland. That is why Ohanaeze wants restructuring of Nigeria.”

Those were the words of John Nnia Nwodo in December 2017. He is the one they call the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, which is a body of integrity-challenged Biafrans, who have been sacrificing Igbo-Biafran interest for their selfish, pecuniary end. He made the statement a little after three months of Nigerian Army invading Biafraland in what they called Operation Python Dance11.

The so-called operation was nothing but a genocide action in which nothing less than 2000 unarmed and defenseless Biafran youths were murdered. It was during the operation that Nnamdi Kanu’s home was stormed and scores of Biafrans inside and outside the compound were killed in the most brutal manner. Kanu is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and since that invasion, he and his parents have not been seen.

For this reason, Nwodo and the five governors of Abia, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, and Ebonyi states (who connived with the Fulani hegemony army to bring the mayhem to their land) became saboteurs. The governors are Okezie Ikpeazu, Willie Obiano, Rochas Okorocha, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and Dave Umahi respectively. They all are among the saboteurs Biafrans will be remembering on Biafra Saboteurs Day’s Biafra-wide strike. It comes up on September 14, 2018.

READ ALSO:Biafra: IPOB Declares September 14, a Day of General Strike, Mourning and Resistance across all Parts of Biafraland

Biafrans will discuss how organizing agents of the Nigerian government, in the name of traditional rulers, to collect bribe from the Nigerian government to look the other way as Biafran youths were being massacred amounted to keeping war away from Biafraland. Biafrans will want to know how holding non-violent processions calling for referendum amounted to levying war against their own people. The people will want to know how asking for appointments from the same government that committed genocide against your own people amounted to warding-off war from your land.
Then in the words of a certain Biafran from Enugu State “Let us true Biafrans first identify them, synthesize their actions, tell the world and our children the evils they have done, then we can then decide what to do with them”.

Uche Mefor, Deputy Leader of IPOB puts it most succinctly: “We want to prove that nobody or mortal can quench, suffocate or diminish the collective will and the aspirations of the Biafran people. We shall demonstrate that legitimate power belongs to the Indigenous People of Biafra in so far as Biafraland is concerned. We intend to press home the fact that genocidal orgy of violence, tyranny, Islamisation, terrorism and hatred by the Fulani military machinery against Biafrans can no longer continue without consequences. 14th of September 2018 will mark the beginning of what is to come.”
In addition, just as Nigeria has been certified as the country with the poorest people on earth, Mefor was not happy with it: “To have the most hardworking race on earth residing in a country with the largest number of poor people is a demonic curse, an unmitigated insult and a disservice to our God-given creative talent” for which Biafrans must extricate themselves from.

Biafra: Why we walked out on meeting with Ohanaeze - IPOB

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue, Chief Editor | The Biafra Times

August 6, 2018

ANAMBRA - A delegation of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday, staged a walk-out on a meeting held with the leadership of Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo over the inability of the latter to meet-up with some of the demands presented during their last meeting in Enugu state.

The meeting which was held at Atani in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra state, the hometown of renowned constitutional lawyer cum convener, Igbo Leaders of Thought, ILT, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, had the likes of Ohanaeze President-General, Chief Nnia Nwodo, Bishop Emeritus, Rt. Rev. Maxwell Anikwenwa, leaders of Jewish worshippers among others in attendance.

The Biafra Times Correspondent learnt in a conversation with a member of the IPOB delegation led by Barrister Aloy Ejimakor that the walk out resulted from what was perceived as a poor presentation and acceptance of their preconditions for peace by the Ohanaeze leadership in the meeting.

He, however, said that another meeting involving the five governors of the South-East geopolitical zone would be reconvened in Enugu on August 8, where issues bordering on IPOB proscription would further be deliberated.

READ ALSO: Fear And Force: Two Elements That Controls Africa Which Buhari Understands And Exerts On The Nigeria Political Class

It was gathered that during the meeting, one of the key demands presented by IPOB was for the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to prevail on South-East governors and the federal government and lead them to the de-proscription of the freedom fighting body as a terrorist organisation “since Ohanaeze and Southeast governors gathered together to proscribe the group, they should also gather together to de-proscribe it.”

It was also learnt that part of the demands made by IPOB included that the umbrella Igbo organisation should, as a matter of necessity, tender an unreserved apology to IPOB over their complicity with the Igbo governors in instigating Operation Python Dance II, which resulted in the deaths of its members, followed by a compensation for all IPOB members killed during the military operation in Umuahia, Abia state and the prosecution of security men that murdered them.

READ ALSO: Angst as FSARS arrest 18 locals over herdsmen incursion in Enugu community

Other preconditions included that the Igbo organisation should publicly demand the whereabouts of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and his parents HRM, Sir Israel Okwu-Kanu and Lolo Sally Ugoeze Kanu and also to apologize to the Afaraukwu Ibeku community for its complicity in unleashing brutality in the community through the mindless and bloody invasion of the palace by operatives of the Nigerian army.
Also listed in the demands, was for Ohanaeze and South-East governors to call for an end to the constant and indiscriminate harassment and arrest of IPOB members in any part of the country by security operatives.

“We demanded an end to all criminal prosecutions of our members arrested in various parts of the country over our self-determination agitation as well as the recognition of rights of individuals as contained in the Nigerian constitution,” our source revealed.

It was, however, noted that the duo leadership of the Igbo Leaders of Thought and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo have agreed in principle to do all within their power to ensure that the organization was de-proscribed, adding that it would guarantee peace in the country.

Further Clarifications Surrounding Our Dialogue with Ohaneze Ndigbo - IPOB

The Biafra Times | July 11, 2018

By Charles Opanwa

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB has given further clarification on the much talked about peace parley with the apex Igbo group Ohaneze Ndigbo.

According to Comrade Emma Powerful, Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB in a press statement released by the group, he stated, “The meeting between Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), selected Igbo elders and Ohaneze Ndigbo is the first of many such meetings that will be held within the next two months to map out and agree an unambiguously strategic approach to the myriad of problems afflicting our people”.

“Our expectation is that at the end of the process, all thorny issues regarding the role certain individuals and groups played in the instigation of the murderous Operation Python Dance II will be adequately ventilated and addressed”.

He said: Other major issues such as the illegal proscription of IPOB and terrorist tag dominated the deliberations, those that hastily banned IPOB activities in the South East that precipitated the illegal moved by the  Federal Government to proscribe IPOB has been given between now and the next meeting to do the needful.

“It is our conviction that it is immoral and makes a mockery of natural justice for peaceful, non-violent IPOB to be hamstrung in its efforts to checkmate Fulani terrorists by a ban imposed by the same South East governors whose states are under siege”.

Mr. Powerful also said “The fate of Biafra leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his father, HRM Eze Sir Israel Okwu Kanu, the Egwu-Ukwu 2 of Afaraukwu and his mother Ugoeze Sally N. Kanu were also tabled”. We are confident that at the next meeting a lot of satisfactory answers will be provided to enable IPOB to close this sad chapter in our history.

“For reasons bothering on integrity and confidentiality, we are not at liberty to delve into the minutiae of what transpired at the meeting or to disclose the identity of those that attended”.

Mr. Powerful went further and reinstated that IPOB is the largest mass movement in the world with an impeccable global reputation and are not in the business of public disclosure of confidential exchanges regardless of pressure or temptation.

“At this present time, we are engaged in sensitive discussions with institutions, governments and agencies around the world. They need to be reassured that under no circumstances will any aspect of our deliberations be divulged to a third party or made public without their prior consent and approval. The same principle applies in our meetings with Igbo leaders until a joint final communiqué is issued”.

“Our ongoing dialogue with Igbo leaders and Ohaneze Ndigbo has come at a very critical stage when the might of IPOB is required to address common security challenges. IPOB would not like to be seen as exerting undue pressure on those involved in making difficult life-changing decisions that will undoubtedly determine the success or failure of the parley”

Ohaneze Bomb-Blast: An Outlandish Attempt By Nwodo To Rope In IPOB Will Fail

By Johnbosco Udonwa | For Biafra Writers

July 5, 2018

A recent news that amused many Biafrans was that which hit the newsstands on June 29, 2018. It was a news story indicating that the Nigerian police had apprehended two men it claimed to be members of the freedom fighting Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who detonated a bomb in the village home of John Nnia Nwodo, the President-General of the umbrella Igbo organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

Nnia Nwodo as the leader of Ohaneze, a self-acclaimed elders group of the Igbo intends to rope in IPOB in the crime. According to the report, the men were responsible for bombing Nwodo’s home at Ukehe on April 29.

By this singular action, Nwodo contracting the police to tell this lie has shown what little mind he and his fellow Ohaneze elements possess. Who, in his right senses, would believe that IPOB has anything to do with the detonation of such inconsequential bombs. Who does not know that it is Ohaneze elements that play childish games with bombs whenever they are in disagreement?

It is appalling to observe that in spite of all the claims of Ohaneze elements to intellectualism, this is the best they could come up with. What Nwodo and his group has just done is taking its bombing stunts to outlandish and ridiculous level.

RELATED NEWS: Bombing of Nwodo's home: Police, DSS and Ohanaeze are hell-bent to tarnish our image - IPOB

How can IPOB, a worldwide group of highly educated, sophisticated and connected individuals that has their presence in more than 88 countries of the world (more than Nigeria) would be throwing childish IEDs? The world knows that IPOB is the biggest non-violent freedom fighting group in the world. The world knows that IPOB is so sophisticated that if it wants to turn violent, it would not be by throwing common IEDs around.

Who does not know that Ohaneze has a record of settling scores amongst themselves by throwing bombs against themselves? Ohaneze elements have always done this each time they shortchange one another during the sharing of monies they squeeze out of politicians through their nefarious activities. A good example was the explosion in January 2015, when another IED was detonated at the dirty, ram-shackled, and unkempt building at 7 Park Avenue G. R. A. Enugu, which they called their national headquarters.

The explosion came few hours after the chairman of their Caretaker Committee, Ralph Obioha, constituted a panel to probe the former chairman of the group, Chief Enwo Igariwey and his executives. The explosion led to a fire which affected parts of the main hall of the building.
This being the case, Nwodo should be told to respect his old age and stop childish lies and stunts. In our land, it is an abomination for old men to tell lies. If he has shortchanged any of his members in the sharing of booties from their Operation Python Dance activities of last year, he should go and settle scores with them and leave IPOB out of it.

IPOB is peaceful, IPOB does not throw bombs. IPOB has achieved so much with its peaceful disposition over the years that Nigeria is already falling apart on its hinges. Why should IPOB destroy her good reputation earned in the world by condescending so low to begin throwing bombs now? Nwodo should grow up.

Bombing of Nwodo's home: Police, DSS and Ohanaeze are hell-bent to tarnish our image - IPOB

IPOB Press Release | Published by The Biafra Times

June 30, 2018

It has been brought to the attention of the worldwide family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) that Nigerian Police, in collaboration with the murderous DSS, Aso Rock cabal, with active connivance of  some Efulefus in Ohaneze Ndigbo are hell-bent on using the law enforcement instruments of state to give IPOB a bad name. But as always they have failed. Those behind this latest scheme to impugn the unimpeachable integrity of IPOB are the same people that have for four years tried unsuccessfully to label IPOB a terrorist group.

We find it ironic that at a time when murder and mayhem perpetrated by Fulani terrorists is the order of the day across the land, law enforcement agencies in Nigeria, disproportionately staffed and led by core northern Fulani officers, will brazenly seek to divert public attention away from their genocidal ethnic cleansing in the Middle Belt and point same towards IPOB. Only those blessed with irredeemable ignorance and natural stupidity will give this purported arrest of IPOB family members, in connection with an alleged bomb explosion at Nwodo's house, a second thought. Nigerian Police is well known for their uncivilised and crude approach to investigations and will charge a goat with a crime if it will help the local DPO, Commissioner Of Police or governor advance his public relations or as in this case help tarnish the squeaky clean image of IPOB.

Nigerian courts are littered with cases of IPOB family members charged with terrorism, treason, treasonable felony, murder, attempted murder, arson and more outlandish charges not catered for in the Nigerian criminal code but at the end of every legal process, the same police and DSS will end up running away from their law courts. Despite the litany of much-publicised arrests, with thousands illegally detained in police and prison custody across Nigeria, till date no single IPOB family member, we repeat- no single IPOB has ever been convicted of any crime and none will. By DNA we IPOB are God fearing, law abiding citizens under a sacred oath not to commit any crime against person or state because Biafra is the kingdom of heaven on earth.
We are used to these laughable periodic stunt charges and phoney arrests anytime the government is in public relations mess and seeking to divert public attention away from their crimes. How bizarre that peaceful IPOB family members are being arrested when Fulani terror herdsmen have government license to slaughter innocent populations at will. Why won't all these seemingly efficient Fulani police commissioners in the east apply their investigative skills in apprehending and charging Fulani terrorist herdsmen butchering entire communities rather than buying themselves with peaceful IPOB.

Only those with mental health issues will be taken in by this latest gimmick from the Fulani controlled  Enugu State police command. With our referendum around the corner, we expect many more arrests and outlandish charges as a way of attempting to weaken our unbreakable resolve. But as always the Nigerian State will fail as they have always failed in the past.

IPOB is a phenomenon, the largest freedom fighting movement on earth bar none. Any day we pick up arms the world will know about it. We will never dirty our hands with bombs because we have more effective and proven methods of reducing our opponents to nothing without physically harming them.

Nigerian Police are in the unprofessional and crude habit of making periodic prejudicial public statements against IPOB in the hope of incriminating innocent people. This is not the first time and definitely won't be the last. The two men arrested will be defended to the hilt even if they are not IPOB family members because to abandon them at the mercy of a brutal police force will only encourage more arrests of innocent people. During their trial, which we demand should commence immediately, the world will once again witness the accusers of IPOB be put to shame.

IPOB is the saviour of the downtrodden but yet the most persecuted mass movement anywhere in the world. Frivolous charges designed to titillate the senses of the ignorant, the bigoted north and their slaves in governors lodge in the east and Ohaneze Ndigbo compromised leadership, won't hold any water in court. We have always defeated the Nigerian government in their own law courts and this case won't prove to be an exception. As usual, IPOB will clear her name in a court of law while shame will remain the portion of the Efulefus.

Fulani terrorists with their cattle are the people involved in acts of terror, not IPOB. This APC government has been accused of aiding and abetting terrorism by Gen. TY Danjuma and Amnesty International. That is where the police should focus their investigations. Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igbo governors should stop using Fulani controlled Nigerian Police, army and SSS to fight their battles for them. They should meet IPOB at a referendum because these silly stunts by the police, SSS and army will never deter us.

OHANAEZE SUMMIT: DO NOT BE AN UNINTENDED VICTIM; IPOB WARNS THOSE INVITED BY OHANAEZE TO STAY AWAY FROM EKWUEME SQUARE AWKA

Published by The Biafra Times | May 21, 2018

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

We, the worldwide family of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) once again warn anybody contemplating attending the Fulani sponsored restructuring jamboree to think twice before heading to Awka, on Monday  because their safety will not be guaranteed. The statement issued by one Fulani police officer SP Mohammed Haruna Idris yesterday in Awka confirms what we had always known that Ohaneze Ndigbo will rely on their northern masters to protect them. A socio-cultural association relying on their oppressors to come and protect them is a disgrace.

The Fulani controlled Nigeria Police and Army have made it clear their armored tanks will be stationed around the venue to protect their stooges in Ohaneze Ndigbo. We are certain that these Fulani armed men in uniform are under orders from whoever sent them to shoot people at sight.

Any person could be an unintended victim of a stray bullet. When the pandemonium starts on Monday, a codeine charged Fulani army or police officer armed with AK 47 will not know who is who. Documented incidents of stray bullets killing innocent bystanders abound. If you don't want to be a victim don't venture into Awka on the 21st of May 2018.

Therefore, we are warning those invited by Ohaneze to stay away from Ekwueme Square in order to allow IPOB settle this issue of Hausa/Fulani collaborators and saboteurs once and for all time in Igboland. We don't want another meaningless restructuring debate that will lead to further enslavement of our people for another 100 years. If some individuals and groups are comfortable with their slave status in Nigeria they should permanently relocate to the North as some of them have done already. We the Indigenous People of Biafra will not be slaves in our own land. We will sacrifice everything sacrificeable, including our lives, to ensure we live as free men in the land of our ancestors as God intended before the white man came.
Anybody equating what is about to happen at Ekwueme Square in Awka on Monday 21, 2018 with what obtained in  November 18, 2017 Anambra governorship election is a very poor student of social dynamics. For starters,  IPOB said it would boycott Anambra elections and it did so successfully. That less than 2% of registered voters bothered to turn out on polling day is testament to the persuasive clout of IPOB. That INEC even went ahead to announce a fraudulent result, more than 48 hours after the polls closed, is another indication that a great deal of time was spent falsifying the figures to make it appear respectable. However you look at it, IPOB boycott of Anambra elections was a resounding success. If not why the continued witch-hunt against IPOB before 2019 elections?

Nigeria is a country conceived in fraud and sustained by a corrupt group of people that care only about themselves and their families, so it shouldn't come to anyone as a surprise that INEC announced a binding result based on less than 2% of votes cast. In a monumentally corrupt country like Nigeria, institutions like INEC will always announce a result regardless of electoral outcomes; a unique characteristic of any backward rentier dictatorial banana republic. In any other civilised region of the world, Anambra elections would have been canceled outright but we are in a place called Nigeria where a grand conspiracy is at play to deny IPOB every opportunity to make its case.

Our consistency in confronting this crumbling corrupt edifice with our civil disobedience is what distinguishes IPOB from any other group. We will not stop until our freedom is achieved. Anybody responsible for the death of any indigenous person of Biafra on Monday in Awka will surely die. Ohaneze Ndigbo should take note.

OHANAEZE IGBO SUMMIT: WE MUST DESCEND ON AWKA FROM ALL CORNERS OF BIAFRALAND AND SWEEP AWAY EVERY IMPEDIMENT ON OUR WAY TO FREEDOM - IPOB

Published by The Biafra Times | May 20, 2018

PRESS STATEMENT ON OHANAEZE AWKA SUMMIT.

Great Biafrans, once again destiny knocks at our door as our Creator THE MOST HIGH EZE CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA presents us HIS Children, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide led by Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu another opportunity to finally confront head on those who have been planted in our land to hold us down and prevent us from reaching the full potential that heaven endowed us with. These individuals and groups who masquerade as leaders and Elites and call themselves Governors and Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo are nothing but errand boys of the Sokoto Caliphate representing the interest of the Hausa-Fulani Oligarchy and not the Interest of the Biafran people.

The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide commend Biafrans both at home and in the Diaspora for our resoluteness and unwavering discipline in our match to freedom. Our leader said that we are without fear before our enemies and we have time and time again vindicated him when we confronted these enemies head-on exhibiting an uncanny determination to sacrifice limb and pleasure for the joy of living a free people in our homeland. Our burning desire to be free, that love for and of Liberty is intrinsic to our nature as Biafrans and one million Ohanaeze’s does not have the capacity to continue to hold us in perpetual bondage and servitude for the benefit of their Hausa Fulani Masters. Nnia Nwodo the Ohanaeze president and those working with him are not just Task Masters drafted into our land to hold the Biafran people in check, he has shamelessly become their mouthpiece in Biafraland. Nnia Nwodo is positioning his brother John Nwodo who has been attached to Atiku Abubakar as usual to play a second fiddle in Nnia Nwodo’s and Sokoto Caliphate’s political calculations.

May 21st, 2018 is a day that history must be made as we the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide led by Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will on this day restore the dignity of the Biafran people before the eyes of the whole world who are watching very keenly the developments in our land. We shall on this day and date restore our faith in ourselves as a people and with that renew hope for our Children and generations yet unborn. Our voice must be loud and clear that even the deaf will hear and acknowledge our stand as we shall unequivocally repudiate and reject all those whose hands are covered with the blood of innocent Biafrans murdered at the instigation and direct coordination of the present Ohanaeze leadership and the South East Governors.

The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide uses this medium, therefore, to direct that all roads must lead to Ekwueme Square in Awka on May 21st. We must descend on Awka from all corners of Biafraland like the locust and sweep away every impediment on our way to freedom and any obstacle to the restoration of a Sovereign and Independent Biafran Nation. As we match down to Awka we will not fail to call up the Spirits of Biafrans murdered in Nigeria to descend in their millions on Ekwueme Square as well. Finally, as we march down to Ekwueme Square we commend every one of us into the hands of EZE CHUKWUOKIKEABIAMA for guidance, strength and protection to the glory of his name.

Restructuring Summit: A Gathering Of Vultures To Keep Submitting The Subjugated Easterners To The Ferocious Northern Cabals By Ohanaeze

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu || For Biafra Writers

May 20, 2018

Gone are the days when a few political jobbers and merchants masquerading as leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo will be leveraging at the expense of the common people they claim to be representing. No, that can't continue anymore. Days of keeping silent, standing still and watching things go on the wrong way are gone. This is what is obtainable when a people fail to realize that they need to do something about their bad situation, their situation will remain the same forever or even get worse. Ohanaeze, there is a great force in the East, roving everywhere and you cannot subdue it. That is the force of total revolution.

Ohanaeze as coined by some hungry-striven individuals looking for avenues to amass wealth for their family members and cronies only, has remained a fiefdom for local criminals.

They masquerade as those who feels the pulse of the people they claim to represent but that's not the case; that is one of their criminal instincts. When they arrive from Abuja, they come back with zilch for the people but with plenty for their families; they are bought over to further enslave and endanger the people.

The silent days and pardons has hit a roadblock. There is an important fact Ohanaeze should note; every beginning has an end and every rise has a fall. If Ohanaeze fails to acknowledge the truth that the people are poised for total revolution, then the restructuring summit they are organizing to further enslave the people in one Nigeria, will see to their end. That an elder has a gray hair in his head, doesn't mean that the elder is above mistake.

A life in Nigeria, represented by Ohanaeze, is more deadly than death. Come Monday, the 21st of May, 2018, is a day for Ohanaeze to get it right by cancelling the summit and send a strong message to the cabals in the North that the East is been locked down by her youths. No amount of security forces will stop the youths from invading the venue of the summit. Since Ohanaeze dared the youths, whatever they see, they take. A tree can never make a forest.

Why Nnia Nwodo Insist On Holding Ohanaeze Awka Summit At The Expense Of The Blood Of Igbo Youths

Published by The Biafra Times

 IPOB PRESS STATEMENT | 19 May, 2018

What the world will witness in Awka on Monday is a battle between good and evil, light versus darkness. On Monday the 21st of May 2018 at Ekwueme Square in Awka, the long-suffering downtrodden people of the East will rise up to say enough is enough. Our 50 years of Fulani captivity, aided and abated by Ohaneze Ndigbo will finally come to an end. All agents of darkness and iniquity with red caps, recruited by the caliphate immediately after the war in 1970 to serve their interest and enslave Igboland, will be exposed.

We know Ohaneze Ndigbo and their Hausa/Fulani masters have only three options left.

1. To seek to influence the media in Lagos and Abuja to report them favorably. We also know that Aso Rock media compliance and enforcement unit under a certain Brigadier of Arewa extraction has been putting pressure on some media outlets, without much success, to report prepared speeches by Nnia Nwodo and Chukwuma Soludo even if they are not read.

2. We are also aware of their plans to hire some Hausa/Fulani youths from Ebonyi State and Obiano's political thugs to attend the event in Ohaneze Youth Congress OYI uniform to provide them additional security. Dave Umahi, Okezie Ikpeazu and Willie Obiano promised to supply the majority of these street urchins. These hired thugs will be paid a paltry 2,000 Naira each whereas Aso Rock budgeted and gave Ohaneze Ndigbo 25,000 for each thug they can manage to bus to the event.

3. Their last and final strategy, upon which all their hope rests is to prevent IPOB from getting to the venue or entering Anambra State altogether. Nnia Nwodo is presently in Onitsha, not Awka. IPOB Intelligence unit has assured that he will soon be located and his hotel made public.

We are fully aware that Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igbo governors have secured the assurances of their Fulani masters that army formations in the East would be in Awka to protect them. We expect existing number of roadblocks and checkpoints to be quadrupled. This was the same Nnia Nwodo that made reducing the number of checkpoints in Igboland his top priority. He has made a full u-turn and is the one now begging his Fulani masters to bring their army to occupy his father's land.
If Ohaneze Ndigbo is genuinely loved by the people, why would they rely on Hausa/Fulani soldiers and hired thugs to defend them from the same people they claim they are representing. Such hypocritical stance is the reason why Ohaneze Ndigbo is bad for our people, bad for our survival and bad for generations unborn. They say one thing but do another.

They hope by distorting the news and reporting falsehood they can persuade the masses that they are the authentic mouthpiece of the people. We want to make it clear that it doesn't matter how many Northern Muslim soldiers that come to their rescue, IPOB will break their lines of cordon as we did at Ebonyi and Ekwulobia in 2017. Willie Obiano and Dave Umahi seem to have forgotten what happened at Abakaliki and Ekwulobia. We shall remind them again on Monday.

Each checkpoint we encounter on Monday will be video recorded and streamed live on social media platforms for the world to see what Ohaneze and their Hausa/Fulani have turned our land into. Whereas other parts of Nigeria have dispensed with military occupation, in Igboland Ohaneze Ndigbo and Igbo governors have actively encouraged it as a means of holding the people down for their northern masters.

With the active connivance of Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors, Igboland is now effectively a Fulani colony where Hausa/Fulani soldiers are encouraged to kill, torture and detain at will. The inevitable brutality and actions of the Fulani military on Monday will confirm that previous massacres, torture, illegal arrests and detention of IPOB agitators were sanctioned by Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors. Monday is a date with destiny. We pray that journalists should remain neutral and report the events accurately without fear or favour.

Anybody seen with Ohaneze Ndigbo t-shirt will be regarded as a hired Hausa/Fulani thug and will be dealt with accordingly. In our finest tradition, we tell the world what we are going to do before we do it because we are freedom fighters. Any hired thug that wants to waste his life should join anything called Ohaneze Ndigbo Youths on Monday.

Nnia Nwodo Ohanaeze’s call for restructuring, belated - Bar. Kingsley Emeruwa

By Steve Oko

May 18, 2018

An Umuahia – based lawyer and civil rights activist, Mr. Kingsley Emeruwa, has viewed the current structure of Nigeria as carefully planned to perpetuate the marginalization of the race.

Emeruwa, who spoke exclusively with The AUTHORITY in Umuahia, said Igbo are the main target of the on- going ethnic cleansing in the Middle Belt by herdsmen. He said the ultimate objective of the killer herdsmen and their sponsors is to establish their military base in Benue State after decimating the Tivs , and then make a final incursion into Igbo land.

“For those who don’t know, the continued massacre in Benue is targeted at Ndigbo because when the killers finish wiping out the Tivs, they will then invade Igbo land from Benue, which will serve as the operational base of their murderous foot solders masquerading now as herdsmen.

“The bridge between the South East and the North is the Middle Belt. The moment Benue is overrun; the next battle ground will be Enugu State. We have been disarmed by the Police Inspector General, who ordered vigilante groups to submit their arms while Fulani herdsmen roam our communities with AK 47 guns unchallenged. Our lives are in danger. We are under threat of total annihilation in Nigeria. There is a tacit agenda to Islamise Nigeria.”

Emeruwa further said Nigeria was structured to perpetually enslave Ndigbo, a sad development he said must be vehemently resisted. He alleged that the policies and actions of the federal government particularly under the current administration were inimical to the advancement of Ndigbo. The rights activist accused the international community of been criminal silence and inaction over the plight of Ndigbo who he said, have become endangered species in Nigeria. He wondered why the federal government would be quick to proscribe IPOB but foot-dragging to pronounce the murderous herdsmen as terrorists..

“Look at the policies of the federal government and indeed all sectors of the Nigeria system, you will discover that the Igbo man has been structured to be a slave but it will be wrong for him to submit himself willingly to the slavery. Nigeria must address all the imbalances starting from federal appointments. Igbo must be given a sense of belonging. Look at the disparity against South East in admission into Federal Government colleges. Whereas a candidate from North is offered admission with 18 marks, his counterpart from any state in South East must score as high as 120 marks before getting the same admission. Is this justice?

On the alleged insensitivity of Igbo leaders towards the plight of their kinsmen, the human right activist regretted that they have failed to maximise “a golden opportunity” provided by Nnamdi Kanu to negotiate a fair deal for the race. Emeruwa alleged that instead of leveraging on IPOB’s agitation as a bargaining power for a better share of the national patrimony, South East leaders and the political elite connived with the Federal Government to get rid of Kanu, who they considered a threat to their political future.

“They erroneously believed that Kanu would take the shine off them, and that is why instead of leveraging on the opportunity provided by IPOB Leader and Nnamdi Kanu to advance the Igbo cause, they saw Kanu as a threat and sabotaged him. It took only a man they thought was mad to galvanise Ndigbo without firing any shot. But Ohanaeze and Igbo Governors at the peak of the agitation betrayed that cause. They were quick to proscribe IPOB after their meeting in Enugu.

“The Igbo man has seen the type of leaders we have, and by 2019 things won’t be the same again. People will vote wisely. By 2019 we will take a stock. We will look at those who have our interest at heart, and then take a decision. A shocker awaits our political leaders in 2019 because no right – thinking Igbo man will forget the blood that was spilled in the name of ” Operation Python Dance”. No Igbo man will betray the dead. The payback time is 2019 elections. No matter how they try to manipulate it, the will of the people will prevail. The people are now more than ever determined to defend their votes.” He said.

Ohanaeze Igbo Summit: Traitors and their collaborators will never go unpunished - IPOB warns

Published By The Biafra Times

IPOB PRESS RELEASE | May 18, 2018

  • ONLY TRAITORS, QUISLINGS & COLLABORATORS WILL BE AT OHANAEZE AWKA SUMMIT BUT THEY WILL NEVER GO UNPUNISHED

Careful observation reveals that the few corrupt people organising the Hausa Fulani sponsored Ohaneze Ndigbo Summit are those whose parents and grandparents collaborated with the British conquerors when they came into our land in the late 19th century.  We must remember that before the British colonized us they first conquered our land. The fathers of these modern collaborators were made servants at the homes of British colonial masters and Warrant Chiefs to serve white man's interest and enslave our people contrary to the traditions and culture that sustained our civilisation for over 5,000 years. These same group of inbred agents of the oppressor is at work in Ohaneze Ndigbo today.

When Arochukwu fell, the forebears of these modern day collaborators benefited and hurriedly attached themselves to White missionaries in order to help complete the subjugation of their own people. They became agents and informants for Nwa-DC or District Commissioner and in return were made clerks or Kotuma to the colonial courts. Therefore only those born into these families with long history of treachery and sabotage in their blood will attend the Aso Rock sponsored Ohaneze summit in Awka on Monday and they will pay a terrible price for it in the weeks and months ahead.

We shall compile the names of all keynote speakers at the event to add to the register of all those that have over the years been betraying our people, especially the individuals that packaged and executed Operation Python Dance. Anybody seen delivering a speech at Awka will be deemed to have collaborated in the death of hundreds of IPOB members as a result of Operation Python Dance and will be a marked man. It's not a question of if but when they will pay for their treachery. They and their children, including those living abroad, will go down the same way they conspired and killed hundreds of IPOB family members.

When the time comes, there will no pity and no mercy for these traitors and their children. Whereas previous generations allowed these collaborators to live, IPOB will make sure they pay for their iniquities against the people. No sensible person will identify with Nnia Nwodo in Awka unless he or she is a sell-out like he is.
A so-called leader that collaborated with the oppressor to invade his land like Afonja did in Ilorin that cost Yoruba people Kwara State till today is exactly who Nnia Nwodo is. Without Fulani soldiers, Nnia Nwodo would never be in Awka in the first place not to talk of dreaming of holding a summit. But at least Monday the 21st of May 2018 will prove to the world that Nnia Nwodo is a puppet of the caliphate because Fulani, not Igbo soldiers will come to protect him.

Neither Arewa Consultative Forum nor Afenifere ever boasted that Fulani army will protect them, which shows that they are widely accepted as the authentic mouthpiece of their people, unlike Nnia Nwodo who is exclusively an agent of the North. History will record that in the year 2018, Hausa Fulani soldiers were invited by a supposed Igbo leader to give him protection in a public gathering in his own land. What an abomination.

This will forever seal the status of Nnia Nwodo as a slave of the Fulani caliphate. Nnia Nwodo's attempt to officially turn Igboland to Fulani Protectorate on May 21, 2018, will be publicly resisted by diehard IPOB. The spirit of victims of Operation Python Dance, killed with the active connivance of Ohaneze Ndigbo are watching us to see if we will let them down.

Isn't it shameful that Nnia Nwodo is going from house to house in Enugu begging our more respected elders to follow him to Awka, boasting that Fulani soldiers are coming to protect him.

To allow Ohaneze Ndigbo to hold this summit means we have surrendered Biafraland to Fulani caliphate forever and ever. On Monday Nnia Nwodo will rely on his Fulani masters from the Sahel to protect him as the Yoruba traitor Afonja did at Ilorin but we IPOB own the land and rely on the people of Biafra through the grace of Chukwu Okike Abiama to protect us and our land from our oppressors and collaborators within.

Why We Are Against Nnia Nwodo's Ohanaeze Ndigbo Summit - IPOB

Published by The Biafra Times

IPOB PRESS RELEASE | May 16, 2018

We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) feel the need to clarify why we are opposed to this particular Ohaneze Ndigbo jamboree slated to be held in Awka on the 21st of May 2018. Anybody or group that attends this event will be seen as an enemy of the people and a direct supporter of Operation Python Dance which was instigated by the organizers of the said Ohaneze Ndigbo Summit to eliminate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his family thereby leaving our land open to Fulani dominance in perpetuity. To associate with Nnia Nwodo's summit is tantamount to an endorsement of mass murder of innocent agitators fighting for the freedom of everybody.

IPOB is not against those that hold the legitimate view that restructuring will best address the myriad of problems afflicting the masses. We are firm believers in democracy, plurality of opinion and divergence of views, so if during a referendum a majority of the people vote to adopt restructuring as the preferred option to outright break from Nigeria, we would be bound by it.

What we have issues with are traitors and collaborators using the cloak of restructuring to advance their personal political ambitions at the expense of the well being of the suffering masses. Dr. Alex Ekwueme, Prof. Tunji Braithwaite, Pa Anthony Enahoro, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, Chief Mbaziluike Amechi, Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu and many more notable elder statesmen have been at the vanguard of restructuring for over 20 years. None of those trying to use this jamboree in Awka now to advance their personal political interests ever supported the great champions of restructuring mentioned above. It wasn't until the coming of IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that restructuring gained the irresistible traction it has today in Nigeria. To pretend otherwise will be an exercise in grand deceit.

That Britain, USA and other influential nations are exerting pressure on Fulani rulers of Nigeria to agree to restructuring is due to the determination of the IPOB led agitation for Biafra. What Nnia Nwodo and others in Ohaneze Ndigbo cunningly did was to seek the death of Nnamdi Kanu and those in IPOB that are responsible for shaking the fraudulent foundations of Nigeria to the point where restructuring has become inevitable so they can take over. Before anybody identifies with Nnia Nwodo's Ohaneze Ndigbo summit, first ask yourself, why did he arrange with his northern friends to send  Fulani soldiers to storm Isiama Afaraukwu the home of Nnamdi Kanu to kill him and his parents? The harassment and intimidation of the Kanu household and IPOB has continued till today. What does Nnia Nwodo and Ohaneze Ndigbo stand to gain from the death of Nnamdi Kanu? These are questions every conscientious and morally upright person must ask.
What we IPOB are against are the murderers in Ohaneze Ndigbo trying to use the cover of a restructuring summit to hoodwink the people when all along these same men were against restructuring and acted against the interest of the very IPOB whose activism made restructuring widely acceptable. The same host governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State that superintended the countless massacres of IPOB in Anambra State is now proudly hosting a restructuring summit made possible by the same people he allowed the Fulani army to kill at will. What an irony!

Another reason why any respectable man or woman should stay away from Awka on Monday is this; never in the history of socio-cultural associations in Nigeria has any group done what Nnia Nwodo's Ohaneze Ndigbo did in Biafraland. For Ohaneze Ndigbo to invite Fulani soldiers to kill Nnamdi Kanu, his family and IPOB members whilst pretending nothing happened portrays a man at peace with evil. Can anybody ever recall Afenifere inviting the Nigerian Army into Yorubaland to kill OPC members? When did anyone hear that Arewa Consultative Forum ever called on the army to go after Boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen both of which are Fulani dominated globally recognised terrorist groups that go about killing innocent people?

Now compare that with the attitude of an Ohanaeze Ndigbo that actively begged Abba Kiyari, Ali Monguno and DG DSS Lawal Daura, all Fulani men that never moved against their fellow Fulani herdsmen, to come to Biafraland to kill Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB members that made the restructuring agenda what it is today. Only a man without conscience and morally bankrupt will buy into the Nwodo charade in Awka. Look at all the organizers and tell us what they have done for the people either individually or as a collective. When Fulani terrorists invaded Enugu what did they do? The answer is nothing. It was the same IPOB that Ohaneze Ndigbo wants destroyed that chased away the marauders. Where then is the moral of anyone planning to attend this summit we ask.

Nnia Nwodo's treachery cannot be wished away. He may have endeared himself to his Fulani masters but next week Monday will seal his fate forever. A new and bright version of Igbo history will be recorded from Monday the 21st of May 2018 onwards. Murderers should be punished not rewarded.

Biafra: Get ready to kill us all if you hold any restructuring summit in Awka - IPOB tells Nwodo

Published by The Biafra Times

IPOB PRESS RELEASE | May 15, 2018

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and it's leadership worldwide wish to draw the attention of all Biafrans, both home and abroad, that 21st May 2018 is the D-Day Chief John Nnia Nwodo and his Ohaneze Ndigbo group have slated to kill Biafrans once again in our land. Nnia Nwodo has managed to convince himself and some Igbo politicians beholden to Sokoto caliphate into using their Restructuring Nigeria Summit as a cover to further enslave our people for another 100 years. To make us loyal servants of Fulani caliphate and entrench irreversible Arewa Islamic hegemony in Igbo parts of Biafraland forever.

These are the same people that instigated Operation Python Dance II that led to the murder of hundreds of IPOB youths, due to their hatred for Biafra and everything Nnamdi Kanu stood for. These traitors cannot be allowed to celebrate their betrayal of our freedom using the cover of a summit.

IPOB had since warned Nnia Nwodo and his collaborators in Ohaneze not to bring their one Nigeria summit to the heartland of Biafra but they remain adamant. The only way this summit can hold is over our dead bodies on the 21st of May.  It seems Nnia Nwodo and his Ohaneze Ndigbo don't understand the language of liberty, we shall meet them head-on in Awka on the 21st at Ekwueme Square. They better bring enough squadron of their Fulani soldier friends as always to provide them protection because the summit will not hold.

We are urging all IPOB families to mobilize to storm not just Ekwueme Square but to saturate the whole of Anambra State and Awka from all directions on the 21st of May, 2018. Awka will be occupied from midnight of the 20th of May to 5pm on the 21st. They should watch and see what shall become of them. History will record the 21st of May 2018 as the day traitors, saboteurs, slaves and quislings lost their stranglehold on the destiny of our people.

It is clear that other ethnic nationalities have observed and realised that there is no hope left in the crumbling corrupt colonial edifice known as Nigeria. But Ohaneze Ndigbo as always have chosen the way of self-centered politics like Late Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe in pushing on with the perverse notion of sustaining the same one Nigeria that is responsible for the death of millions of our people. The same mistakes of the past are being repeated by Nnia Nwodo and his gang. Azikiwe's politics of one Nigeria is what put us in the mess we are in today. We have been reduced to lower than fourth class citizens, hated and despised by all, for no other reason than our God-given hard work ethic and ingenuity. The most courageous and intelligent black race in the world has been reduced to a group of selfish petty traders engrossed in the art of buying and selling to the detriment of their survival.

We IPOB family cannot afford to allow the future of unborn generations to be mortgaged by a greedy, shortsighted Ohaneze Ndigbo through whom Fulani caliphate has been exercising undue control over our lives for years. Ohaneze Ndigbo and its leadership are at liberty to conduct their restructuring and preservation of one Nigeria with their children in Lagos, Abuja or Kaduna not anywhere on Biafran soil.

When the disastrous consequences of Nnamdi Azikiwe's one Nigeria mindset exploded as thousands of deaths in the 1966 pogrom and later a genocidal war, it was left to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu and his gallant Biafran army to pick up the pieces in a brutal war that cost over 3.5 million lives. What shred of dignity we have today was because of the efforts of those heroic Biafran soldiers between 1967 and 70. We note with trepidation that the same costly experiment and mistake of Dr. Azikiwe is what Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Nnia Nwodo are hell-bent on repeating because of the promise of vice president.

We look forward to meeting Nnia Nwodo and his Fulani soldiers in Awka on the 21st of May 2018. They better come prepared.
