Ohanaeze President- General Knelt Down Begging Us To Make Him President- Junaid Mohammed

October 16, 2019  | The Biafra Times

Lagos – Elderstatesman and Second Republic federal lawmaker, Junaid Mohammed has revealed that North rejected the plea of John Nwodo, the President- General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo when he begged them to make him President.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Independent, Junaid said Nwodo came with a delegation from Enugu, while the meeting took place in the home of Lawal Jafaru Isa, former military administrator of Kaduna state.

He said they only laughed at Nwodo because the North does not support the culture of begging for positions.

He said “I haven’t seen an Igbo man that I will endorse for now. I will not endorse an Igbo man because all the people who are pretending are not serious and they have the history of being part and parcel of the family that brought  the civil war”.

“Are you telling me because John Nwodo is the president of  Ohanaeze I should ask people to vote for him? I will not”.

“He came all the way from Enugu state to meet our people with a delegation and we had a meeting in a house not very far from my house, he house of a former governor of Kaduna state,  Lawal Jafaru Isa”.

“We had a meeting there in which John Nwodo went on his knees begging us to make him President. We laughed at him. In our culture, you don’t come here and say you people should make me this or that. We allow people to point at you and say you are good to occupy certain positions”.

“Being the President is not a question of begging people” he said.

Biafra: Coded military operation in Biafraland aimed to aid fulani terror herdsmen to acquire and consolidate forcibly taken farmlands

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

October 12, 2019 | The Biafra Times

We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) wish to advice the Fulani dominated military hierarchy in Nigeria led by Tukur Buratai that constant harassment and killing of innocent civilians in the East will not make up for their failure to deal with insurgency and terrorism ravaging the North where they come from. Any reasonable society would have noticed by now that these meaningless military exercises designed to torment civil society is a tactical diversion to cover up the failures of the Nigeria Army in tackling Fulani terrorism. The plan is to give the world the misleading impression that insecurity is affecting every part of Nigeria and Biafraland when that is not the case.

Announcing countless and meaningless military operations within the borders of Nigeria is indicative that this army headed by Buratai are cowards and instruments of suppression and intimidation. Civilised democratic countries set up their armies to fight external enemies and protect their borders but in Africa as with all developmentally backward parts of the world, national armies are being used to oppress the civilian population of which Nigeria is a prime example.

Buratai's cowardly and incompetent army of occupation should be reminded that all they have succeeded in doing is turning the Nigerian military into a laughing stock because announcing exotically named military operation after military operation within a civilian space is making it appear more like a television drama series than a serious initiative. They should stop fooling themselves and reveal the motive behind these countless invasions of Biafraland which is to aid Fulani terror herdsmen to acquire and consolidate farmlands forcibly taken from non-Fulani communities in the south. The world must know that we are seriously engaging these band of terrorists in Ebonyi State where they continue to enjoy the protection and help from their fellow Fulani terrorists in uniform in their quest to Islamise Ebonyi State and wider Biafra with the help of the state governor Dave Umahi.

Not long ago, earlier this year, Operation Python Dance 3 was launched by this same bumbling and roundly incompetent Buratai, which ended up accomplishing nothing in terms of their stated aim of eradicating IPOB using military force. All they succeeded in achieving is raping of young women, extortion and mindless thuggery against defenceless citizens. It has now been firmly established that the Nigeria government and her security forces especially the murderous Fulani soldiers in Nigerian Army uniform cleverly designed these never-ending episodes of military action against innocent civilians to ensure they continue the elimination of Biafran youths with the blessing of South East governors and Ohaneze Ndigbo. This is the intention behind this ongoing Operation Python Dance 4 and Operation Crocodile Smile in Biafraland.

In 2017 this same Nigerian Army with active connivance of South East governors and Ohaneze Ndigbo used Operation Python Dance 2 as cover to attempt the assassination of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and elimination of hundreds of Biafrans of which 28 gallant men fell at Isiama-Afaraukwu Umuahia in Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's compound during the invasion.

At a time when Nigerian army is being roundly defeated on all fronts by Boko Haram, culminating in some soldiers fleeing from battle and recourse to Saudi spirituality as a means of combating their self made insurgency, Fulani caliphate have instead chosen to display the bravery of their army against unarmed innocent civilians in Biafraland.

It important that Biafrans know that this recent Operation Python Dance 4 in Biafraland is the brainchild of the Fulani caliphate and their slaves in Igboland  Dave Umahi, Nnia Nwodo with the usual brigade of Efulefus that will stop at nothing to ensure that Biafraland is reduced to another vassal colony of the caliphate like Illorin the same way Ukpabi Asika did before them. These quislings know their days are numbered and as with every traitor in history, they must face their fate at the right time. We will never forgive nor pardon them.

In the north, their governors are busy proudly and openly negotiating with known killers, bandits and terrorists but in Biafraland Dave Umahi, Willie Obiano, Okezie Ikpeazu and Nnia Nwodo are busy colluding with northern military officers to kill their own people.

There is no insecurity in Biafraland save for those introduced by land grabbing Fulani terror herdsmen, aided and abated by South East governors.

We know Nigerian military have no shame and will continue to flex their muscle against unarmed peaceful civilians while running away from engaging Boko Haram in battle in the north. Boko Haram are rampaging and killing lives in the north. There are overcrowded IDP camps and abandoned villages in the Arewa core north but the senseless Nigerian army are in Biafraland extorting money from motorists and committing all manner of unspeakable atrocities.

We IPOB are not relenting in our exposure of the inadequacies and unconscionable actions of this Buratai led Nigerian army until the world is firmly aware of what obtains in Nigeria. Exposing and making sure the whole world knows about the evil plans of Nigerian government and her security agencies against the people of Biafra is our responsibilty and that we shall continue to do.

There is peace in Biafraland except for where Fulani terror herdsmen are wreaking havoc in Ebonyi State. It is therefore unacceptable that Nigerian army should be running around in armoured vehicles and tormenting innocent civilians when they should be combating insecurity in core Arewa North. What exists in Nigeria is a Fulani Islamic army of occupation not a national army by any stretch of the imagination. It is, therefore, the duty of the masses to resist them as we IPOB are doing.

Top 7 Igbo Politicians on IPOB Blacklist and Why

August 20, 2019 | The Biafra Times

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON THE ACTIVE ROLE IKE EKWEREMADU, NNIA NWODO, DAVE UMAHI, OKEZIE IKPEAZU, ROCHAS OKOROCHA, WILLIE OBIANO & IFEANYI UGWUANYI PLAYED IN THE PLOT TO ASSASSINATE ME & KILL OUR DREAM OF FREEDOM THROUGH THEIR OPERATION PYTHON DANCE [Part 1]

These men mentioned above instigated, financed and defended a full-scale bloody military invasion of Biafraland they tagged Operation Python Dance that led to the torture and untimely death of over 600 Biafrans, 28 of which fell in my compound.

These men sanctioned the desecration of the home of an Igbo tradition ruler by Fulani soldiers and did not care if my father HRM Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and my mother, who were home with me during the unprovoked invasion, is killed or not. All these desperate Igbo politicians ever wanted was my death, the death of IPOB, the death of our dream of freedom for all.

In view of the Nuremberg encounter, it has become necessary for us to refresh our memories lest it succumbs to confusion and deliberate misinformation because most people, unlike we IPOB, are in the habit of excusing intolerable evil and wickedness but we not. Every perpetrator of evil, every purveyor of iniquity, every merchant of misery and every defender of injustice must and will be held to account. We will relent until justice is served.

*Full Resolution of South-East Governors On IPOB and Operation Python Dance

The Chairman of the South-East Governors Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, read the resolution with Enugu Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to his left and Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State to his right.

The South-East Governors Forum held a meeting at Government House in Enugu over the increased tension in the region after what they mischievously termed Sunday’s clash between soldiers and members of the Indigenous People of Biafra.

At the end of the meeting, which was also attended by Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu and President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo John Nwodo, they arrived at 11 resolutions which include a ban on IPOB activities and an appeal to President Muhammadu Buhari to withdraw soldiers from the region.

Below is the statement read by the Chairman of the South-East Governors Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State Dave Umahi at the end of that meeting:

In view of the prevailing situation in the South East and its attendant consequences, the South-East governors hereby resolve as follows:

1. All activities of IPOB are hereby proscribed. IPOB and all other aggrieved groups are to articulate their position on all national issues and submit to the committee of Governors of South East, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and National Assembly members from South-East zone through the Chairman of South-East Governors Forum.

2. All governors of South East are expected to ensure compliance in their respective states.

3. The South-East Governors Forum, Ohanaeze Ndigbo and National Assembly Members do hereby reinforce their commitment to one united and indivisible Nigeria.

4. We also reinforce our desire for the restructuring of Nigeria where all national issues will be discussed and amicably settled to achieve justice and fairness to every Nigerian.

5. We reiterate our earlier position that the November 18, 2017, Gubernatorial election in Anambra State must hold.

6. Accordingly, we appeal to our President and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR to, please, withdraw the military in the South-East Zone while the police perform their traditional role of maintaining law and order within this period.

7. South-East governors have taken concrete steps to protect the lives and properties of non-indigenes in the South East and, of course, including the lives and properties of indigenes in the South-East as well.

8. We are in touch with the Northern Governors Forum and they have assured us of the safety of all our people living in the North and we have also planned for exchange of visits between the governors. This is to reinforce the confidence of Nigerians in this regard.

9. In keeping with our earlier position, we wish to assure Nigerians that full investigation is ongoing and all allegations of killings, maiming and other unlawful conduct in the South-East Zone within this period. The governors and the security agencies are in agreement that appropriate action will be taken against anyone culpable.

10. We advise all residents of the South East to go about their normal businesses as the government of each state is committed to protecting everybody.

11. Finally, we advise our people in the South East to, please, be law-abiding.

[End of statement]

I have added the video of the unprovoked military assault on my compound by the cowardly Nigerian Army whose sole purpose was to kill me -an unarmed man, my parents and those around me despite the fact we are a peaceful movement. Those with a conscience can now understand the root cause of our anger and why we won't stop until they all pay dearly for their sins.

The Animalistic Instincts of Nnia Nwodo

August 20, 2019

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | Biafra Writers

Following the encounter with aggrieved Igbo youths in Nuremberg, Germany, in which the erstwhile deputy president of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, was chased out of the Iri Ji festival, the president of the proscribed Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, has called on German police to arrest the protesting Igbo youths.  Mistaking Europe for uncivilized Nigeria, the self-serving president of Ohaneze urged German police to deal with the Igbo youths for registering dissatisfaction with the current crop of Igbo politicians.

Nnia Nwodo who was only months ago described as an idiot by the governor of Anambara state, Willie Obiano, was full of hate as he poured venom on the protesting youths. In a statement issued in Enugwu hours after the incident, Nwodo said, “The assault on Ekweremadu by Igbos in Germany, described as IPOB, is disappointing, grotesque and dangerous for Igbo solidarity. This violent, rude, impertinent, divisive and discourteous style of IPOB or IPOB instigated miscreants is damaging to our cause. It strengthens the case of those who describe them as terrorists and weaken our case against the infringement of our fundamental human rights.” In his view, staging a demonstration qualifies one as a terrorist. Pathetic.

It’s quite lugubrious that whilst Nnia Nwodo sees a simple protest aimed at awakening Igbo politicians up to their responsibilities as “grotesque, rude, impertinent, divisive and dangerous for Igbo solidarity,” he doesn’t see the conspiratorial silence of the politicians over the constant killing, raping and abducting of our people by the marauding Fulani herdsmen in the same light, neither has he seen the danger in the allocation of our lands to Fulani for RUGA Settlements as Southeast governors are covertly doing now.

Furthering his risible statement, the Nsukka born saboteur who in Lagos publically pledged to sabotage Biafra struggle said, “Ekweremadu negotiated the sureties and securities for Nnamdi Kanu's release on bail. He does not deserve this picketing and disgrace. A disgrace to him is a disgrace to Igbo race.” Funny how a protest against the docility of a political office holder turns a disgrace to the Igbo race but the invasion of the royal palace of an Igbo traditional ruler, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu, is not a disgrace to the Igbo.  The thinking of the so-called Igbo elite.

The power-drunk Nwodo concluded his pathetic speech with the appeal on German authorities to arrest and prosecute those that protested against one of the chief architects of Python Dance, Senator Ike Ekweremadu. Nwodo said, “Whilst I condemn the attack on our revered son and leader, I call on the law enforcement agencies in Germany to bring to book the perpetrators of this despicable act. It is un-Igbo. It is disgraceful.”

Nnia Nwodo wants unarmed civilians arrested simply because they protested against a corrupt and underperforming senator.  Yet in USA protesters blocked President Donald Trump’s way, stoning him with can water and other items. American police neither arrested nor prosecuted anybody. In Germany where the Ekweremadu incident took place and other parts of the Western world, the masses protest against their leaders, and nobody gets arrested or prosecuted. That’s because they (the Western world) are civilized. In Nigeria, the army and police shoot unarmed protesters. The comparative difference shows one thing: Nigeria is uncivilized, undemocratic, animalistic and savage. Reason Nigeria is called Zoo – an animal kingdom where even the so-called educated class is beasty in their dealings.

Nnia Nwodo’s call on German police to arrest and prosecute people for demonstrating indignation against corrupt and ineffective political office holders betrays his animalistic nature. He clearly mistook Germany for the Zoo called Nigeria.

IPOB cautions Nwodo, Umahi Over Effort to Undermine Sit-at-home Order

May 6, 2019

IPOB PRESS RELEASE | Published By The Biafra Times

It has been brought to our attention that the usual suspects are at it once again in their bid to undermine the collective will of all patriotic and genuine children of Biafra to honour those that died for us and 3.5 million victims of the second largest holocaust in modern history.

Rather than anger, we feel pity for these collection of desperados who through their hatred for freedom and historical ignorance are canvassing that 12 hours of buying and selling is more important than honouring the brave men and women that fought they may live. It is the height of ingratitude, treachery, and exhibition of crass ignorance that those who claim to be educated in this day and age do not understand the significance nor appreciate the symbolism of honouring those unjustly killed. That Nnia Nwodo's Ohaneze and Dave Umahi have come out yet again to lead the effort to discredit and dishonour the spirit of 3.5 million victims of genocide is inexcusable to say the least.

To equate the momentous and solemn remembrance of 3.5 million victims of genocide with twelve hours of economic activity is an unpardonable crime both before God and man. These Fulani slaves in Igboland bore witness to the recent visit of Osinbajo the Nigerian vice president to Rwanda to remember the 150,000 victims of genocide. Why didn't Nnia Nwodo's treacherous Ohaneze and the Fulani herdsmen loving Dave Umahi issue a statement condemning Yemi Osinbajo for attending the memorial in Rwanda? What Nnia Nwodo and Dave Umahi is saying, in essence, is that 150,000 Rwandan genocide victims are more important than 3.5 million of their own people (Biafrans) slaughtered in similar circumstances between 1967 to 1970. Any leader worth his salt would canvass for Nigeria to understand the need to declare May 30th a national public holiday but not these traitors. All they care about is their little competition to see who among them will win their coveted Best Fulani Slave in the South East and South-South Award 2019.

Leaders who claim to be educated and whose education should have taught them the historic importance, symbolism, and essence of remembering victims of an unjust war are the ones trying their desperate best to discourage their people from observing a day of prayers and reflection.

Israel only a few days ago observed the annual Jewish holocaust memorial. This event has been running for over 70 years. Last year 2018 November 11, world leaders attended the Armistice Day commemoration in Paris to remember those that fell in the First World War. This remembrance has been running for over 100 years. Britain that created Nigeria observe the same annual 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th month at the Cenotaph in London every year without fail. Only those with a history of colluding with the enemy like Ohaneze and Igbo governors can come out against honoring the memory of their own people.

We know we live in an era of betrayal when mouthing nonsense against IPOB is considered a lucrative business because it attracts the attention of Aso Rock which often leads to financial reward. All inconsequential mushroom groups in the name of Biafra or Igbo hoping to attract favours from Aso Rock by issuing anti-May 30th sit at home statements will have themselves to blame in the future. Every year they come up with their usual nonsense against our sit at home order but in the end, they start making comments in the hope of sharing in the glory of 100% compliance.

These Nigeria by day and Biafra at night mushroom groups without presence or followership in Biafraland have failed in the past and will fail again because as usual, there will be total compliance with the sit-at-home order come May 30th because IPOB is the people and the people is IPOB.

Unscrupulous individuals, groups and politicians particularly some Igbo governors and Ohaneze Ndigbo can rant all they like on the pages of newspapers, we IPOB must remember our fallen heroes and heroines who paid the ultimate price that our generation to be alive today.

We are urging Biafrans, friends Biafra and lovers of freedom across the globe to heed this patriotic and candid call for Biafra freedom and ignore all traitors and caliphate slaves within.

We IPOB must remain undeterred irrespective of the renewed sponsored media attacks, false propaganda, arrest, and torture by the Nigerian Government and her security operatives, supported by David Umahi of Ebonyi, Willie Obiano of Anambra, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia and Nnia Nwodo's Ohaneze Ndigbo. In the end, they will be held accountable for their actions because in the end IPOB always win.

Biafra: Before The North Issues Another Quit Notice Over IPOB’s Election Boycott, Bring Back Our Children

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | For Biafra Writers

November 6, 2018

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Biafran people has spoken and the enemy understood him well. Albeit, some people might take his words to be a mere "lip speech," it doesn't matter since every fool must learn in one way or the other.

Remember, this work is never meant to apportion blame to anybody but devised to enable those who cannot read the science of time to come to the understanding of what time is saying at this point in our lives so as to make haste while the sun shines. From the view of the writer, l can see freedom conceived for the Biafrans and this time, it will come to light. I see freedom in the belly of the yellow sun protruding. The evil night is about to end.

It is high time Biafrans understood how the northern psyche works. Whenever they see Biafrans united, they became rattled and upset. To ease their anger, they slaughter any Biafran they see. The "Quit Notice" issued on Biafrans to vacate the North was as a result of the 2016 Heroes' Day sit-at-home exercise which was inarguably 100% successful in Biafraland.

Pan-Igbo organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo under the leadership of John Nnia Nwodo promised the northern oligarchy the head of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu because they felt threatened by his insurmountable and unquenchable agitation for a free sovereign Biafran state and to avert the looming horror that was perceived at the height of the quit notice. But as it stands now, Ohanaeze has nothing left to promise or part with if their northern masters should come calling again. The forthcoming 2019 elections is almost here and the Biafrans are set to boycott it. This time around, there shall be no notice before the bloodbath. The truth must be spoken no matter what – Biafrans living in Northern Nigeria should bring back our children this December before the hot period of the election.

The uncomfortable truth before us all is that the gory events of 1660s is glowering at us. And if we don't learn from past events of the pogroms of 1960s, it shall be repeated yet again. As Chinua Achebe would narrate the events of 1960s as follows;
"The northerners turned on Igbo (Biafrans) civilians living in the North and unleashed waves of brutal massacres that Colin Legun of The Observer (UK) was the first to describe as a pogrom. Thirty thousand civilian men, women and children were slaughtered, hundreds of thousands were wounded, maimed and violated, their homes and property looted and burned- and no one asked any questions. A Sierra Leonean living in Northern Nigeria at that time wrote home in horror: 'The killing of the Igbos has become a state industry in Nigeria'."

Achebe in his further expression of surprise over the carriage of the Nigerian government controlled by the Northerners said, "What terrified me about the massacres in Nigeria was that: If it was only a question of rioting in the streets and so on, that would be bad enough, but it could be explained. It happens everywhere in the world. But in this particular case a detailed plan for mass killing was implemented by the government – the army, the police, the very people who were there to protect lives and property."

Read Also: Before You Argue Blindly Over Kanu's Comment On Judaism, Read This

From the above citation, a salient conclusion could be explored – the federal government ordered the army and the police to kill the Biafrans living in the north and west.

Also, Oyeweso (1992) noted that the advice by Chukwuemeka Ojukwu to the fleeing Easterners to return to the North for the sake of national unity was a decision Ojukwu later regretted as thousands who heeded his advice went back to the North and were slaughtered during the Northern Pogrom.

As Emefiena Ezeani pointed out in his book titled: ‘In Biafra Africa Died,’ "The refugees (the fleeing Biafrans from the North) told stories of horror; how they were hunted from one place to another, the raping of their daughters and wives in their presence, how fathers and husbands were chopped to death in the presence of their children and wives, how pregnant women were disemboweled and unborn babies killed."

I am not giving anybody any order but our children are precious. We can't afford to have them killed again in the name of maintaining national unity. A stitch in time saves nine. This piece of work should be seen as an advice not an order. Use this December to safely bring back our children.

Biafra: IPOB spit fire at Nnia Nwodo and his proscribed/banned Ohaneze Ndigbo

November 2, 2018

IPOB Press Statement, Published on | The Biafra Times

The global family of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) condemn the frivolous statement credited to Nnia Nwodo and his group of Ohaneze Ndigbo in Enugu asking people not to listen to IPOB and it's leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on election boycott come 2019 general election. The one and only IPOB ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu decided to boycott every election in Biafraland as far back as 2015 when Nnia Nwodo was nursing the ambition to become Enugu State governor not even Ohaneze leadership. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu it is apt to note, is as consistent as the Northern Star. He doesn’t change his position to suit prevailing political circumstance. All he does is geared towards the speedy recovery of Biafra from the clutches of darkness and iniquity called Nigeria. For anybody to think that IPOB will change its stance through carefully choreographed Fulani inspired media blackmail, is wasting their time. Biafraland will be paralyzed during presidential elections next year. Terrorists don’t vote. Those that proscribed IPOB and invited the python to dance in our land cannot eat their cake and have it. They know the right thing to do and until they do it, they will never ever be forgiven.

We know this period of frenzied political activities is a time of money making for political jobbers through petty gossip, idle speculation and backstabbing. Therefore it didn’t come to us as a surprise that Chief John Nnia Nwodo and co have started again in their usual way of deceiving the general public by claiming IWA hosted an event in Enugu when such event never happened. Nnia Nwodo must understand that no amount of propaganda against IPOB and our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu can change our resolve towards influencing Biafrans to boycott the presidential elections come 2019. Nnamdi Kanu is the supreme leader of IPOB, a situation the murderous Operation Dance wasn’t able to alter. Corrupt Fulani slaves in Biafraland must be reminded that IPOB is the people and people is IPOB. All the assurances from these compromised traitors and those aspiring to be like them for monetary gains from the north are fake because Biafrans will not vote come next year.

Ohaneze Ndigbo met last week Thursday at their national secretariat, Park Avenue Enugu, to brainstorm with Igbo World Assembly (IWA) on how to sabotage IPOB’s no election campaign in Biafraland. After the meeting they ended up issuing an already prepared press statement to the media that sought to give the erroneous impression that an actual public event held in Enugu on the said day. It is important we reiterate that IPOB proscription on Ohaneze Ndigbo still stand and will never be rescinded. Any public gathering by Nnia Nwodo and his Ohaneze Ndigbo anywhere in Biafraland will be disrupted.

We wish to state our position very clearly against any group that would like to cash in on the desperation of scrupulous politicians to make some quick buck at the expense of IPOB that total humiliation awaits them. The minds of our people are made up, they only listen and understand the raw truth coming from IPOB and no other. The rant of these mushroom fake groups starts and ends on the pages of newspapers. Anybody seen meeting with Nnia Nwodo of Ohaneze Ndigbo will be classified as a sellout and dealt with accordingly. Nnia Nwodo and his Ohaneze are Fulani slaves and remain so till eternity. Nnia Nwodo was appointed a minister of state twice by his Fulani masters and can never do without them. His father before him served the north and so also his brother Okwesilieze Nwodo who is presently living rent free in one of Atiku Abubakar’s house in Abuja. So it is in their family interest that Biafrans vote in 2019.

Chief John Nnia Nwodo publicly swore in Lagos to sabotage every effort by IPOB to restore Biafra, therefore any person or persons issuing joint statements or fraternizing  with Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Nnia Nwodo is an enemy of the people and must be regarded as such until the end of time. We are aware that countless meaningless supposed nonexistent groups and their faceless backers are springing up and readying themselves to be used against the Biafra restoration project. Such hungry individuals and groups are warned to steer clear before its too late for them or be ready to face the consequences that is about to come their way.

The Biafra restoration project is divine and irreversible. Anybody working against it will incur the wrath of Most High God Chukwu Okike Abiama. Biafra is for all everybody, regardless of religion, ethnicity or orientation therefore we are not going to hesitate or fail to bring any saboteur to account.

Biafra: ‘We haven’t come to eat yam but to demand the whereabouts of our leader’ – IPOB youths tell Ohanaeze in South Africa

...If you don’t do what is right today, don’t expect us to become good leaders tomorrow – Nat. Secretary, IPOB SA

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue, Chief Editor | The Biafra Times

October 12, 2018

JOHANNESBURG— MEMBERS of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in South Africa, led by their national coordinator, Mr. Isaac Chidera Samuel on October 6, 2018, stormed an event for the celebration of the annual new yam festival organised by the pan-Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, to demand the whereabouts of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The event which was ongoing at the Observatory Sports Club in Johannesburg was interrupted by the irate IPOB youths who told the congregants that they have not come to join them in the celebration of the new yam festival but to register their displeasure as well as to convey their message to their President-General, Chief John Nnia Nwodo.

Although some members of Ohanaeze did all within their powers to stop the IPOB members from gaining access into the entrance of the event, the youths clad on Biafra-coloured uniforms and armed with a large banner emblazoned, ‘A Call for Referendum Is Not A Call For War,’ and ‘Free Nnamdi Kanu’, eventually made their way through the entrance, into the event.

They seized the opportunity to make case over the unending and incessant killings and enforced disappearances of Biafra agitators in Nigeria, urging them to support IPOB’s call for referendum.

Addressing the audience after observing a minute silence for those that died in the struggle for independence, one of the leaders of IPOB in South Africa, Mr Chukwudi Obiukwu(SADC Rep) said although IPOB is a peaceful and non-violent movement, she wouldn’t forgive those standing on her way to attain freedom for her people.

According to him, “You all gathered here can testify that IPOB are peaceful and non-violent freedom fighters but we don’t forgive our enemies and those who have sworn to sabotage our efforts in the pursuit for freedom.

“It’s sad and unfortunate that Nnia Nwodo is not here but we have one or two words for the person he sent to represent him. Nnia Nwodo and co cannot be at home while our people are been killed and decimated and nobody would condemn such act. It isn’t done anywhere.

“We haven’t come to eat yam but to demand for the whereabouts of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also to express our dissatisfaction over the deafening silence of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and South East leaders in the enforced disappearance of our leader, his parents, including the killing of our brothers and sisters during the military raid at his residence in Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia state.”

While praying for the downfall of saboteurs whom have collected money to fight against Biafra’s independence as well as those who has hands or contributed in one way or the other in the disappearance of the IPOB leader, the youths cautioned the Ohanaeze scribes not to hesitate in serving their nation, Biafra.

Also in his remarks, the National Secretary of IPOB in the country, Emmanuel Isimmiri while cautioning the Ohanaeze Ndigbo elders at the event, stated they have no intention of hijacking their programme but that if they should fold their hands and watch while things grew worse without doing the right thing, then they should expect less of them when they eventually occupy same positions in the future.

“We’re using this privilege to talk to the indigenous people of South Africa and our elders who are here in my presence. Looking at the age bracket here, I see fathers. There’s a saying in my dialect which says that an elder doesn’t stay at home and watch a domestic goat die while giving birth.

“The ethnic cleansing going on in that central state of West Africa, precisely in Biafraland are you all not seeing it?  I don’t want to talk about the unlawful arrest, I don’t want to talk about all the inhumane treatments orchestrated against Biafrans everyday but my banner here says that self-determination is not a crime and we’re using this privilege to talk to our elders.

“If you call yourself an elder, then you need to act like an elder. We’re not here to hijack the festival, it’s part of our culture but we’re looking into you as a role model because tomorrow, we will sit on that seat you’re occupying today. But if you don’t do what is right now, don’t expect us to be good leaders tomorrow.

“Lastly, we’re calling for a referendum. As we all know that there’s a wrong notion circulating on social media that referendum means war. I want to use this platform to remind you that referendum is not a call for war, it is a call for total freedom of every Biafran born and yet to be born.

“When we talk about referendum, we talk about total freedom of every Biafran and inside that total freedom, we talk about equality. Equality is not limited to gender, it’s not limited to the issue we’re facing there in Nigeria called ‘ethnic minority,’ neither is it limited to the issue of language, diversity and multicultural nature of that contraption,” he posited.

Biafra: IPOB proscribes Ohanaeze, South East governors, bans group activities in the East"

September 19, 2018

IPOB Press Statement |Published on The Biafra Times

By virtue of the overwhelming compliance with the 14th of September 2018 Sit-At-Home order issued by IPOB and the mandate conferred therein as the authentic representative of the people of the east, we the Indigenous People of Biafra do hereby declare the proscription of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and all other gatherings of saboteurs and collaborators operating within Biafra. In keeping with the spirit of this declaration, we warn that anybody or group of persons working with Nnia Nwodo led Ohaneze Ndigbo or South East Governors Forum is doing so at their own risk. These two groups (Ohaneze & South East governors) do not represent the people of the east and lack the popular mandate to do so. Events of September 14, is confirmation that our people have rejected their politics of acquiescence, servitude and slavery.

Ohaneze Ndigbo was formed in 1976 to destabilize the progressive established order under the leadership of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe in the run up to 1979 democratic rule. The few surviving founding members of Ohanaeze will attest to this undisputed fact. To weaken the post war cohesion that still existed among the people of the east, Fulani caliphate gathered their Igbo agents together to destroy the east from within. With what Ohaneze has become in recent times, there is little doubt that our oppressors succeeded in holding us down through their agents in Ohaneze and governor's lodges.

Contrary to public perception, Ohaneze Ndigbo is not a creation of Igbo people but rather is an assemblage of high profile traitors during the war, with the exception of Dr. Akanu Ibiam. It was a group engineered by Arewa north to provide the east with false leadership. From inception, Ohaneze Ndigbo has been answerable to Arewa North not to the people of the east. No Ohaneze Ndigbo leader can emerge without the blessing of the northern ruling class.

It was this same Ohaneze Ndigbo that took money from their Northern masters to allow three Igbo speaking local governments from Ebonyi to be carved into Benue State. The same Ohaneze Sat and did nothing as Obigbo, Egbema and the rest of Igbo speaking people were gerrymandered into Rivers State and Delta State to be categorised as South South. They abandoned Igboakiri (Igbanke) to Ogbemudia and his Northern masters, that made an Igbo territory part of Edo State. They betrayed Anioma people by repeatedly refusing to fight for their absorption into the core Igbo family. Today we have families in Egbema divided along state lines. Some people in the same family, with the same surname find themselves in two distinct geo-political zones. Some are South East the other is Niger Delta. This is an unpardonable crime by Ohaneze Ndigbo against the land and the people.

With over 90 per cent compliance to the IPOB sit-at-home order, including Enugu and Ebonyi State as evidenced by photos obtained from the server of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, it has been confirmed beyond every reasonable doubt that all parts of Biafraland complied with the order. By so doing, Biafrans conferred a historic and unprecedented mandate on IPOB to pilot the affairs of the Eastern Region.

All efforts by South East governors to use financial inducement and media misinformation to fool the people into thinking some parts of Biafra did not comply with the order has been laid bare by secret photos of empty Enugu streets taken by NAN which they conspiratorially failed to publish. The existence of these NAN photos confirms what we have always known, that South East governors decided to wage media war to discredit a successful exercise once it dawned on them that IPOB command the loyalty and mandate of the people.

Nothing under sun shall remain concealed forever. News Agency of Nigeria must be compelled to publish all pictures it took of northern Biafran territories on the morning of September 14, 2018. If compliance was not 100% as they claim, why have they refused to officially publish their own pictures? If they have any shred of credibility left, News Agency of Nigeria should state if any of the pictures published alongside this press release is not part of the many pictures they took of empty Enugu streets on the mid-morning of September 14?

In as much as the the people of the east is concerned, Ohaneze Ndigbo no longer exist, but only on paper. Henceforth any public gathering organised by them will be disrupted. The era of traitors and collaborators presiding over the affairs of the people of the east has come to an end.

Biafra Saboteurs Day: Nwodo, the prime saboteur to be remembered

Neferechi Ochiagha | For Biafra Writers

September 4, 2018

“I can’t allow that to happen to my people again. That is why I will be a saboteur in any attempt to levy another war on Igboland. That is why Ohanaeze wants restructuring of Nigeria.”

Those were the words of John Nnia Nwodo in December 2017. He is the one they call the President of Ohaneze Ndigbo, which is a body of integrity-challenged Biafrans, who have been sacrificing Igbo-Biafran interest for their selfish, pecuniary end. He made the statement a little after three months of Nigerian Army invading Biafraland in what they called Operation Python Dance11.

The so-called operation was nothing but a genocide action in which nothing less than 2000 unarmed and defenseless Biafran youths were murdered. It was during the operation that Nnamdi Kanu’s home was stormed and scores of Biafrans inside and outside the compound were killed in the most brutal manner. Kanu is the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and since that invasion, he and his parents have not been seen.

For this reason, Nwodo and the five governors of Abia, Anambra, Imo, Enugu, and Ebonyi states (who connived with the Fulani hegemony army to bring the mayhem to their land) became saboteurs. The governors are Okezie Ikpeazu, Willie Obiano, Rochas Okorocha, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, and Dave Umahi respectively. They all are among the saboteurs Biafrans will be remembering on Biafra Saboteurs Day’s Biafra-wide strike. It comes up on September 14, 2018.

READ ALSO:Biafra: IPOB Declares September 14, a Day of General Strike, Mourning and Resistance across all Parts of Biafraland

Biafrans will discuss how organizing agents of the Nigerian government, in the name of traditional rulers, to collect bribe from the Nigerian government to look the other way as Biafran youths were being massacred amounted to keeping war away from Biafraland. Biafrans will want to know how holding non-violent processions calling for referendum amounted to levying war against their own people. The people will want to know how asking for appointments from the same government that committed genocide against your own people amounted to warding-off war from your land.
Then in the words of a certain Biafran from Enugu State “Let us true Biafrans first identify them, synthesize their actions, tell the world and our children the evils they have done, then we can then decide what to do with them”.

Uche Mefor, Deputy Leader of IPOB puts it most succinctly: “We want to prove that nobody or mortal can quench, suffocate or diminish the collective will and the aspirations of the Biafran people. We shall demonstrate that legitimate power belongs to the Indigenous People of Biafra in so far as Biafraland is concerned. We intend to press home the fact that genocidal orgy of violence, tyranny, Islamisation, terrorism and hatred by the Fulani military machinery against Biafrans can no longer continue without consequences. 14th of September 2018 will mark the beginning of what is to come.”
In addition, just as Nigeria has been certified as the country with the poorest people on earth, Mefor was not happy with it: “To have the most hardworking race on earth residing in a country with the largest number of poor people is a demonic curse, an unmitigated insult and a disservice to our God-given creative talent” for which Biafrans must extricate themselves from.

IPOB reacts to Nwodo's hypocritical press statement, commend Amnesty International and others

IPOB PRESS RELEASE | Published By The Biafra Times

August 26, 2018

The attempt by Nnia Nwodo to endear himself to the wider public through his latest hypocritical press statement has failed woefully. If the aim is to milk the goodwill of our people still basking in the euphoria of the release of our mothers who were illegally abducted, shamefully detained and humiliated by the Nigerian state, he has failed woefully.

Where was Nwodo the day our mothers and grandmothers were humiliating corralled into a stinking prison by a Fulani Police Commissioner working on the orders of his fellow northerner Rochas Okorocha? Why didn't he personally issue a statement? He didn't because he was gloating that our mothers will suffer in detention as a way of getting back at IPOB. Those he spoke to told IPOB his exact words.

His belated statement, issued earlier today, is too little too late and will not absolve him of his role in the ongoing persecution, murder and proscription of IPOB. When well-meaning people all over the world, including Oby Ezekwesili, a certain northern governor and presidential aspirant, were busy condemning the atrocious detention of innocent Igbo mothers, Nwodo and all Igbo governors maintained their usual slavish silence for fear of offending their northern masters. Ike Ekweremadu never uttered a word either. But his chieftaincy title is Ikeoha, which means the warrior of the people.

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Worldwide reaffirm our previous stance that the silence of South East governors, Ohaneze leadership, Igbo politicians and front-line traditional rulers, in the face of such overwhelming humiliation of an entire race, is confirmation that Biafraland in general and Igboland, in particular, is a conquered and occupied territory, superintended by a cowardly class of traitors answerable to Fulani caliphate.

For Nwodo's information and that of Rochas Okorocha with his Fulani led Imo State Police Command, the arrest of our mothers is illegal. Therefore, the idea of sounding magnanimous in press statements is downright foolish. IPOB always win every court case against Nigeria, hence no single conviction has ever been secured against us till date and they never will.

When you cheer your oppressors, as Nnia Nwodo, Igbo governors and politicians seem to enjoy doing anytime IPOB family members are detained illegally, you forfeit every authority to speak on behalf of the people because IPOB is the people and people is IPOB.

Nnia Nwodo of Ohaneze Ndigbo and their fellow collaborators never uttered a word when our mothers were abducted, tortured, humiliated and spat on by Fulani controlled Nigerian Police. They are now glibly mouthing their usual nonsense to deceive the gullible and shore up their battered image.

We remind Nnia Nwodo that we have not forgotten the massacre at Afaraukwu on 14 September 2017. We also wish to remind him that it was Igbo governors that proscribed IPOB first, not Aso Rock, as he would like to have the people believe. Was it not the same Nnia Nwodo that stood on the steps of Enugu Government House alongside Igbo governors to proscribe IPOB at the same time Buratai's Fulani soldiers were busy killing innocent youths inside Nnamdi Kanu's compound?

Terrorist tag against IPOB came after Igbo governors and Ohaneze Ndigbo first proscribed the movement.  It was Nnia Nwodo, Archbishop Emmanuel Chukwuma and Chief Guy Ikokwu a Lagos based informant and errand boy,  that shared money donated by Igbo governors to corrupt Igbo traditional rulers at Nike Lake Resort Enugu on or around the 15th of September 2017 to support the proscription of IPOB. Sadly, Igbo traditional rulers led by Eze Eberechi Dick, who is a personal friend of Buhari's cousin Mamman Daura, presided over this process of shame.

We are not unaware that it was Nnia Nwodo that personally appealed to the commander of 82 Division Enugu and Abba Kiyarri the real power behind Buhari-Jubril to launch Operation Python Dance. They think they are smart and we IPOB uninformed. It is in the open that same Nnia Nwodo and co are responsible for the impending Operation Python Dance 3.

It is instructive that Nnia Nwodo admitted that northern governors protected treasonous Arewa Youths. Compare that to the treatment of IPOB by Igbo governors and understand that Igboland has been sold to the north.

Nnia Nwodo keeps using the language that IPOB are his children whilst forgetting that four of our kidnapped mothers released from Owerri prisons are older than him.

We especially commend Amnesty International, Intersociety, World Jewish Council, SERAP, social media activists, commentators, men and women of goodwill that stood up to defend the constitutional right to freedom of assembly. Shame on all Igbo governors, politicians and traditional rulers that were so terrified of the Fulani caliphate they couldn't defend their own mothers. Only now, after our mothers has been released have they found their voice. There is a popular Igbo adage that reads, nwoke lucha ogu, nwanyi enwere akuko. In the case of Nnia Nwodo, it is now umunwayi IPOB lucha ogu, umunwoke Ohaneze enwere akuko. How the mighty has fallen.

Biafra: Why we walked out on meeting with Ohanaeze - IPOB

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue, Chief Editor | The Biafra Times

August 6, 2018

ANAMBRA - A delegation of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday, staged a walk-out on a meeting held with the leadership of Apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo over the inability of the latter to meet-up with some of the demands presented during their last meeting in Enugu state.

The meeting which was held at Atani in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra state, the hometown of renowned constitutional lawyer cum convener, Igbo Leaders of Thought, ILT, Prof. Ben Nwabueze, had the likes of Ohanaeze President-General, Chief Nnia Nwodo, Bishop Emeritus, Rt. Rev. Maxwell Anikwenwa, leaders of Jewish worshippers among others in attendance.

The Biafra Times Correspondent learnt in a conversation with a member of the IPOB delegation led by Barrister Aloy Ejimakor that the walk out resulted from what was perceived as a poor presentation and acceptance of their preconditions for peace by the Ohanaeze leadership in the meeting.

He, however, said that another meeting involving the five governors of the South-East geopolitical zone would be reconvened in Enugu on August 8, where issues bordering on IPOB proscription would further be deliberated.

It was gathered that during the meeting, one of the key demands presented by IPOB was for the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to prevail on South-East governors and the federal government and lead them to the de-proscription of the freedom fighting body as a terrorist organisation “since Ohanaeze and Southeast governors gathered together to proscribe the group, they should also gather together to de-proscribe it.”

It was also learnt that part of the demands made by IPOB included that the umbrella Igbo organisation should, as a matter of necessity, tender an unreserved apology to IPOB over their complicity with the Igbo governors in instigating Operation Python Dance II, which resulted in the deaths of its members, followed by a compensation for all IPOB members killed during the military operation in Umuahia, Abia state and the prosecution of security men that murdered them.

Other preconditions included that the Igbo organisation should publicly demand the whereabouts of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and his parents HRM, Sir Israel Okwu-Kanu and Lolo Sally Ugoeze Kanu and also to apologize to the Afaraukwu Ibeku community for its complicity in unleashing brutality in the community through the mindless and bloody invasion of the palace by operatives of the Nigerian army.
Also listed in the demands, was for Ohanaeze and South-East governors to call for an end to the constant and indiscriminate harassment and arrest of IPOB members in any part of the country by security operatives.

“We demanded an end to all criminal prosecutions of our members arrested in various parts of the country over our self-determination agitation as well as the recognition of rights of individuals as contained in the Nigerian constitution,” our source revealed.

It was, however, noted that the duo leadership of the Igbo Leaders of Thought and the Ohanaeze Ndigbo have agreed in principle to do all within their power to ensure that the organization was de-proscribed, adding that it would guarantee peace in the country.

Biafra: Nnia Nwodo finally opens up on issues surrounding Python Dance, IPOB proscription, exonerates self

•Says I have no hand in the military operation
•I told Buratai that his evidence against IPOB lacks merit; Fulani herdsmen, the real terrorists not IPOB
…As book launch and presentation takes centre stage

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue, Chief Editor & Ifeanyi Dickson | The Biafra Times

August 4, 2018

ENUGU - The President-General of the umbrella Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, has stated that contrary to beliefs in some quarters, he has no hand nor input in the Operation Python Dance II conducted by the Nigerian Army last year September which claimed many innocent lives of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Speaking on Friday August 3, 2018 in Enugu, at a symposium on “Quest for self-determination by ethnic nationalities; way forward for peaceful coexistence in Nigeria,” organized by Movement of Biafrans In Nigeria, MOBIN and co-hosted by the convener, South East Elders Forum, Dr. Dozie Ikedife, Nwodo who condemned the military exercise said he was assured by the military along with South-East governors that they were only coming to rid the region of sundry criminal activities to ensure safety of lives and properties of citizens.

He, however, expressed surprise when the military invaded Umuahia, the hometown of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and slaughtered some IPOB youths, alleging that they created a paramilitary outfit known as Biafra Security Service, BSS and that they confiscated a gun belonging to a police officer.

According to the Ohanaeze President, when he inquired from the Army about the bloodshed and violence that erupted in Abia state, they swiftly accused IPOB of creating BSS whom they said were conducting “guard of honour” on uniforms every morning at the entrance leading to Kanu’s house which attracted the attention of the duo of Abia State Commissioner of Police and the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG, who passes the road every morning when going to work.

READ ALSO: Kunle Olasanmi’s piece, a ploy by FG to re-arrest our recently released members - IPOB

“When they (Army) wanted to commence the second operation, we asked them why they’re coming back again to carry out the same military operation and they said it’s just a military exercise.

“But serious problem erupted in Umuahia at the peak of that second military operation and we called them for questioning and they told us, in fact the Abia state governor was there, that before they ventured into Umuahia, IPOB has what they call Biafra Security Service; that they wear uniforms and conduct guards of honour every morning at the entrance road leading to Nnamdi Kanu’s house which is also the same road the commissioner of police in the state and AIG passes while going to work each morning.

“This was exactly what they told me. I’ve never been there to find out the truth about what they said and I haven’t seen them myself,” Nwodo stated.

He said the information he received noted that one establishing “a paramilitary service that wears uniform without due legislation of the Abia state House of Assembly is illegal under them and they begged them to stop but they refused.

READ ALSO: Angst as FSARS arrest 18 locals over herdsmen incursion in Enugu community

“The worst scenario was when they told me that a police officer who was on duty and returning from the house of AIG and passing through that road and the Biafran youths stationed at that axis snatched away his gun but they told us the gun was later handed back to them.

“If you listened to some of the things I said in the past, you’ll find where I have alluded to some of these representations because the Attorney General of the Federation went to court and said that IPOB is a terrorist organisation.”

The Igbo leader further explain how he approached Transparency International and called for the setting up of an independent judicial commission of inquiry to investigate the killings of some IPOB members at Rivers state during IPOB-Trump solidarity rally.

“When we were sworn in as the executives of Ohanaeze, in the first speech I made, I said that they (IPOB) are my children and that their struggle is my struggle as well.

“I told (Lt. Gen. Tukur) Buratai(COAS) to establish a judicial commission of inquiry into the killings that happened at Portharcourt. I sent members of my executives to Portharcourt. They went to all the mortuaries and graveyards where dead members of IPOB were buried and they took pictures of them for the records.

READ ALSO: Igbo Presidency: Your narrative that Buhari will cede power to S’East, biggest joke of the century - ILT fires back at Osita Okechukwu

“And I told the Army chief, let’s exhume all these dead bodies and also bring those from the mortuary to serve as evidence but they vehemently refused. So, I went to Transparency International. They conducted an independent inquiry and released a report that 191 people were executed without trial.

“As soon as that report was issued, the chief of army staff, COAS, then decided to set up an inquiry peopled by retired and serving officers of the Armed Forces, none of whom were Igbos. I challenged him and said Buratai, you cannot be a judge in your own matter.

“I told him that the rules of natural justice demands that you must listen to both sides of the story. In this case, they must listen to IPOB and those who fired the shot as well so we can know who is saying the truth. I stated that the Army will not after killing us, go ahead to constitute a panel of inquiry by themselves. That means they’re judges in their own case. No other Igbo man apart from me said this directly to the COAS,” he added.

Nwodo also faulted the procedures adopted by the federal government in the proscription and designation of IPOB as a terrorist organisation, saying the evidence they provided in court lacks merit and not enough to establish IPOB as terrorists.

He said: “Buratai went to court under our law; the government does not require an open court to consider a group, a terrorist organisation. What he only needs to do is to go to the office of the judge; there’s what lawyers call an interlocutory action, and tender an evidence in front of the judge saying that this person or group is a terrorist organisation and if after going through the evidence, the judge can now make a decision.

READ ALSO: Biafra: The rejoiner; "Blame game over Kanu's whereabouts" futile attempt by state sponsored agent exposed

“But Buratai went to a judge in Abuja and deposed exactly what they earlier told me and the governors that IPOB youths are using force to snatch guns from security officials and that IPOB is a terrorist group. And I came out in the newspapers and told Buratai that the evidence he tendered in court may be enough to establish a criminal act but not enough to classify IPOB as a terrorist organisation. Nobody else said it apart from me.

“I also went to the British Institute of International Affairs popularly known as Chatham House and told the whole world that Fulani herdsmen is the 4th most terrorist organisation in the world as categorized by Global Terrorist Index and I gave reference to the source of this discovery, yet they have not classified Fulani herdsmen as terrorists but my children (IPOB) are called terrorists.

“So my brothers, those we’re fighting against has the determination to contain us. That is why if conventional warfare fails, you have to try guerrilla warfare. Therefore, if the style we employ in this fight fails, let’s try diplomatic style. Let’s learn how to apply our senses in whatever we do.”
...As Book launch, “What The Ibos Want,” takes centre stage at the event

One of the major highlights of the event at Enugu on Friday was the launching and presentation of a book written by Barr. Emeka Emekesiri, entitled: “What The Ibos Want.”

The book which was presented in 360 pages and 17 chapters was reviewed at the symposium by an Igbo elite and Professor from the University of Portharcourt, Mark Anikpo.

According to Prof. Anikpo, “the main purpose of the book is an effort to put record and also bring to light for the new generation of Ndigbo and for all and sundry, not only the almost eclipsed barbarism of the Nigerian state but also the treachery and double standards of the United Nations in its reluctance or even refusal to bring to justice, the Nigerian perpetrators of genocide against Biafra.”

He noted that the author of the book, painstakingly documented the Biafran case in a most graphic and convincing detail, adding that the facts are verifiable and the sources culled from libraries and museums all over the world, especially in the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

Ohaneze Bomb-Blast: An Outlandish Attempt By Nwodo To Rope In IPOB Will Fail

By Johnbosco Udonwa | For Biafra Writers

July 5, 2018

A recent news that amused many Biafrans was that which hit the newsstands on June 29, 2018. It was a news story indicating that the Nigerian police had apprehended two men it claimed to be members of the freedom fighting Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who detonated a bomb in the village home of John Nnia Nwodo, the President-General of the umbrella Igbo organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo.

Nnia Nwodo as the leader of Ohaneze, a self-acclaimed elders group of the Igbo intends to rope in IPOB in the crime. According to the report, the men were responsible for bombing Nwodo’s home at Ukehe on April 29.

By this singular action, Nwodo contracting the police to tell this lie has shown what little mind he and his fellow Ohaneze elements possess. Who, in his right senses, would believe that IPOB has anything to do with the detonation of such inconsequential bombs. Who does not know that it is Ohaneze elements that play childish games with bombs whenever they are in disagreement?

It is appalling to observe that in spite of all the claims of Ohaneze elements to intellectualism, this is the best they could come up with. What Nwodo and his group has just done is taking its bombing stunts to outlandish and ridiculous level.

RELATED NEWS: Bombing of Nwodo's home: Police, DSS and Ohanaeze are hell-bent to tarnish our image - IPOB

How can IPOB, a worldwide group of highly educated, sophisticated and connected individuals that has their presence in more than 88 countries of the world (more than Nigeria) would be throwing childish IEDs? The world knows that IPOB is the biggest non-violent freedom fighting group in the world. The world knows that IPOB is so sophisticated that if it wants to turn violent, it would not be by throwing common IEDs around.

Who does not know that Ohaneze has a record of settling scores amongst themselves by throwing bombs against themselves? Ohaneze elements have always done this each time they shortchange one another during the sharing of monies they squeeze out of politicians through their nefarious activities. A good example was the explosion in January 2015, when another IED was detonated at the dirty, ram-shackled, and unkempt building at 7 Park Avenue G. R. A. Enugu, which they called their national headquarters.

The explosion came few hours after the chairman of their Caretaker Committee, Ralph Obioha, constituted a panel to probe the former chairman of the group, Chief Enwo Igariwey and his executives. The explosion led to a fire which affected parts of the main hall of the building.
This being the case, Nwodo should be told to respect his old age and stop childish lies and stunts. In our land, it is an abomination for old men to tell lies. If he has shortchanged any of his members in the sharing of booties from their Operation Python Dance activities of last year, he should go and settle scores with them and leave IPOB out of it.

IPOB is peaceful, IPOB does not throw bombs. IPOB has achieved so much with its peaceful disposition over the years that Nigeria is already falling apart on its hinges. Why should IPOB destroy her good reputation earned in the world by condescending so low to begin throwing bombs now? Nwodo should grow up.

Restructuring Summit: A Gathering Of Vultures To Keep Submitting The Subjugated Easterners To The Ferocious Northern Cabals By Ohanaeze

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu || For Biafra Writers

May 20, 2018

Gone are the days when a few political jobbers and merchants masquerading as leaders of Ohanaeze Ndigbo will be leveraging at the expense of the common people they claim to be representing. No, that can't continue anymore. Days of keeping silent, standing still and watching things go on the wrong way are gone. This is what is obtainable when a people fail to realize that they need to do something about their bad situation, their situation will remain the same forever or even get worse. Ohanaeze, there is a great force in the East, roving everywhere and you cannot subdue it. That is the force of total revolution.

Ohanaeze as coined by some hungry-striven individuals looking for avenues to amass wealth for their family members and cronies only, has remained a fiefdom for local criminals.

They masquerade as those who feels the pulse of the people they claim to represent but that's not the case; that is one of their criminal instincts. When they arrive from Abuja, they come back with zilch for the people but with plenty for their families; they are bought over to further enslave and endanger the people.

The silent days and pardons has hit a roadblock. There is an important fact Ohanaeze should note; every beginning has an end and every rise has a fall. If Ohanaeze fails to acknowledge the truth that the people are poised for total revolution, then the restructuring summit they are organizing to further enslave the people in one Nigeria, will see to their end. That an elder has a gray hair in his head, doesn't mean that the elder is above mistake.

A life in Nigeria, represented by Ohanaeze, is more deadly than death.
