FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS DECLARED WAR AGAINST BIAFRANS - IPOB

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

May 20, 2021 | The Biafra Times

The attention of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been drawn to the recent security meeting held in Aso Rock  by the Service Chiefs and the impostor parading himself as  President Muhammadu Buhari.

Far-reaching but undisclosed decisions were reached at the meeting on how to quell insecurity in the Eastern region.

It's on record that nobody from South East was present or invited at the meeting where such critical decisions were taken. Despite the mounting public outcry trailing the decision of the Fulani controlled federal government to commence another military operation in the Eastern region as approved at the meeting with shoot-on-sight order against Igbo youths and Biafra agitators, the security agencies are bent on carrying out the order.

Just two days ago, the Inspector General of Police while launching a special Police Operation for South East called Operation Restore Peace, in Enugu confirmed the peoples fears when he asked police personnel not to wait for any other special order before they start killing protesters and anyone confronting them in the zone. He assured them of federal protection against human rights allegations or prosecutions, urging them to take the war to the people in their homes.

He specifically directed them to ensure they eliminate anybody suspected to be a Biafran agitator or IPOB member, and not to bother bringing them to Police stations anymore.

Our intelligence unit has equally uncovered another secret meeting where the federal government of Nigeria authorized the security Chiefs to crush IPOB members, Biafra agitators and youths in the Eastern region, assuring them of adequate protection against any prosecution by human rights organisations.

Our intelligence further revealed that part of their decision at the meeting was to use use those Boko Haram members they recruited into the Nigeria military and police to eliminate anybody they see on the street as being currently witnessed in Imo State. The military invaded students hostel in Owerri shooting sporadically and directly at people.

We are equally aware that the Fulani-controlled Federal Government of Nigeria had ordered another military operation  codenamed " Operation Restore Peace" in the South East and South South. This is only but another "Operation Massacre Biafrans" in disguise.

There are so many security challenges in the North where the rampaging Boko Haram terrorists and bandits have siezed the control of many communities and Local Government Areas, yet there is no shoot-on-sight order declared by the double-faced Buhari-led federal government. South East and South South are not in war with anybody but Fulani terrorists supported by Nigeria government brought war in our land, killing innocent people while pointing accusing fingers at IPOB members and ESN operatives.

The action of the federal government is nothing but a declaration of war against Biafrans. The Buhari-led administration and his Service Chief have no moral justification to take a military action against South East without a South Eastern in attendance at the meeting where such decision was purportedly taken. This, and of course the appointment of Service Chiefs were in clear violation of the principles of Federal Character enshrined in the zoo's constitution.

Every indigenous community in Biafraland must be careful and prepared because they have brought the war in our door step. They have already started burning people's houses and killing them. But our God shall fight for us and we will defeat them. The same way they could not crush us during the three-year Biafra war, they won't be able to prevail even now.

We also want to put the world on notice that Buhari and his Service Chiefs should be held accountable for any genocide or war in Eastern Nigeria. They brought the war to our door steps and we have no option but to defend our ancestral land. And that we must do irrespective of the cost!

THE WAR HAS BEGUN, WE SHALL FIGHT TO DEFEND OUR ANCESTRAL LAND - IPOB

IPOB PRESS RELEASE

February 19, 2021 | The Biafra Times

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great Leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, wish to bring to the attention of the whole world, that the Nigeria military has at last, brought war to Biafra land. Supported by other security agencies including police and the Department of State Services, DSS, they came with military jets, tanks and heavy war equipment against us. Yes the second Nigeria/Biafra war has begun! The WAR begun on Thursday, February 18, 2021.

The wicked Nigeria military has simultaneously launched both land and air attacks on us. After the genocidal war of 1967-1970 in which they killed over 5 million innocent Biafrans, they have come again to bomb the Biafrans under the pretext that they are hunting the gallant personnel of Eastern Security Network ESN guarding our forests against killer herdsmen and terrorists on rampage in our land.

Days before the raid, they first abducted a

synagogue priest, Mazi Egole and his house hold, branding them IPOB members. Then on February 16, they abducted Mrs NGOZI UMEADI who they learnt took care of those injured during the #EndSARS protest. Not done yet, they took Dr. Stephen Irochi of Multicare Hospital and some injured #EndSARS protesters from Obigbo receiving treatment at the hospital.

With this the oppressive government of the dead President Muhamnadu Buhari now run by the Fulani cabal, has confirmed that it is the chief sponsor of terrorism and banditry going on in our land. The satanic government which could not defend Biafrans against incessant unprovoked attacks against Nigerians has now mobilized its land and air-force against ESN who are patriotically and voluntarily doing the job that Nigeria security forces wickedly refused to do. The crime of ESN is defending locals against Fulani herdsmen.

Orlu and its environs are now a theater of war declared by the wicked Nigeria Government against innocent Biafrans. Scores of innocent civilians have already fallen casualty! Orlu and its neighboring Orsu LGAs have been under heavy bombardment by the Nigeria Airforce since yesterday, February 18, 2021.

Regrettably, this genocidal war against Biafrans has the endorsement of the Supreme Court Administrator of Imo State, Hope Uzodima who the Fulani Janjaweed Government is using in its futile desperation to actualize its Fulanisation agenda. But he, his likes and their slave-masters will pay heavily for this!

The world must hold Hope Uzodima and the Buhari-led Fulani-controlled federal government of Nigeria responsible for the ongoing genocidal war in Orlu and Orsu. The same hypocritical Nigeria military which could not trace or locate heavily-armed bandits and Fulani terrorists in the forests of Zamfara and other Northern States is now bombing ESN, a mere vigilante group. Miyetti Allah announced its nation wide security outfit and nobody  bombed them till today. Amotekun was formed in the West and the tanks were not rolled out against them. But now that Biafrans have announced our own vigilante group - ESN to protect our people against terrorists kidnapping, raping and slaughtering our people in our own ancestral land, all hell is let lose.

But we promise disgrace to our enemies. They SHALL be shamefully defeated. The WAR has begun! We shall defend Biafra and we shall triumph! No inch of Biafra land will be taken by the Invaders.  We have vowed  never to relinquish any inch of Biafra ancestral land to Fulani Herdsmen from Sahel. Their evil Fulanisation agenda shall perish with them. God of the Jews shall defend us against the enemies. This war will be different from the 1967 genocide!

May we therefore, remind Biafrans all over the world that that decisive moment has come when they must stand to be counted. We need to rise as one people no matter the tongue or ethnicity  for we have a common destiny. We have all been marked for decimation by the Fulani Janjaweed but we must resist them.

Nobody should erroneously think he is exempted from the wicked plots of our enemies. Even our treacherous political elite should know that the Fulani will not spare them after using them against their own people. Our people in the Nigeria military and other security agencies should also know that the Fulani will reward them with death after using them to fight their kith and kin. We must stand united and fight for our children! Now is the time!

We have no choice but to defend our ancestral land. We have complained enough, written petitions but the world turned blind eyes. The media refused to give us audience. Nobody seems interested in our story but like the Jews we must look unto our God and courageously fight back like heroes. In the end Biafra will come!

Biafra: The Constant Military Brutality And Massacre Of It's Citizens, A Sign Of Unpatriotic Military Forces

By Onoja Christian Obinna | Biafra Writers

January 29, 2021

"My honour is my Faith

I vow my faith in Nigeria

The supremacy of the constitution.

Our heritage of liberty

To defend Nigeria everywhere

Our territory, wealth and people

The cradle of our freedom.

Whenever the clarion calls

whatever price or odds

My faith is one and ever

The Federal Republic of Nigeria"

...................................................................

The above is the creed of the Nigerian Military, having sworn to protect the people and the territory, one wonders why the above creed is not practiced by our military personnels in Nigeria.

The Nigerian boarders meant to be protected from external forces are now left porous to the detriment of innocent citizens of which the most vulnerable are the South Easterners hitherto, referred to as Biafrans.

A recent military invasion of Okporo, Umutanze and Akatta in Orlu community  at the wee hours of Thursday 21st January 2021 is a very sad tale. How can a nation's Military personnels who are meant to protect her citizens, rolled-in about twenty-one [21] hilux vans into the peaceful land of Orlu in Imo State to unleash mayhem on the people and create panic in the land. The innocent citizens who had retired the previous day without any suspicion of an impending invasion, only woke up to find their villages under military siege.

The people were terrified, they couldn't move out for their normal daily businesses as they saw very heavily armed to the teeth Nigerian soldiers parading their houses, sporadic shooting left the air with pollution from several gunshots. Just as seen and observed by our journalist(s), unsuspecting members of the community were scampering for safety, several people who are members of the community fell by the gunshots, corpses littered around while survivors were seen fleeing from their homes, is there any difference between Hitler of Germany Nazi gestapo style of murdering the Jews and what took effect in Orlu?.

This indiscriminate Military brutal attacks on civilians has become a norm mostly against the people of South Eastern and South South territory of Nigeria. Ironically, this is the most peaceful region in Nigeria. It is worthy of Note that, the Fulani Herders whom have been rated fourth [4th], most deadly terror group, are on rampage in the Southern part of Nigeria causing a lot of criminalities ranging from, destruction of farm lands, stealing, kidnapping, rape, killing, arson, land usurpation and every manner of atrocity a sane mind can think of, yet they are never prosecuted. The Nigeria military would rather give them protection and back up in their atrocious acts.

It is worthy to note that the people of Orlu are under state sponsored military siege by the firm grip of Supreme Court imposed governor of the state - Mr. Hope Uzodinma. We must condemn the killings, wanton destruction, arson carried out by the cowards in Nigeria Army uniform and alert the international community of an impending doom that this intimidation may lead to. It is keenly observed that the state governor is doing all within his caprices to please his Sokoto Fulani masters so as to be seen as being relevant within the corrupt infested Nigerian government political cycle.

The authorities concerned must call the terrorist organization codenamed Nigeria Military to order and redirect them to Sambisa forest where their equals - the Boko Haram sect has established a camp over the years challenging them for a fight. The brute Nigerian Military cannot stand out to fight terrorists causing all manner of havocs against the state but will always display her cowardice in the defunct Eastern Nigeria because to them and to the Nigeria government who always ordered them to kill us, the South East of Nigeria are a conquered people that must be led as animals to which we can't continue to allow them to kill us at will without reprisals this time. History starts a day.

The Escape of Michael O. Nwankpa, a Lesson for Biafrans in Nigeria Military

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

September 12, 2020

In life history often repeats itself. Those who gave deaf ears to this epic truth ended up becoming victims. Aguiyi Ironsi, Ken Saro Wiwa, Adaka Boro, Biafrans serving in the Nigerian military before the war and currently the Biafrans sent to fight Boko Haram, etc, are typical examples.

Michael O. Nwankpa, a Biafran serving in the Nigerian military is one among the few that escaped same fate before the war. He was serving in Kaduna. Though he escaped, his story could help the current Biafrans serving in the Nigerian military.

Michael was maintaining his oath of allegiance as a soldier to the federal republic of Nigeria. Even when his own people were being massacred, he remained resolute to the call of serving the Nigerian government in the capacity of a soldier.

I could call him a foolish uncle today had it been that he was among the many executed then. But he was a brave soldier who after escaping death at the hands of the northern army Generals, fought gallantly for his motherland Biafra.

According to my mother, a sister he was training in the school then, her elder soldier brother came home and there was a great jubilation in the family. A jubilation that my mother has never forgotten till date.

After the great jubilation, my uncle narrated how he escaped. According to him, all the Biafrans serving in that particular division he was in were held at a gunpoint and locked inside a hall. Luckily, he was not among those held.

From his hideout he heard the footfalls of the Northern soldiers who were going about looking for the Biafrans among them.

When he figured out that his hideout was no longer safe, he changed location. In his new location he hid himself inside a Dustin container in the Barrack. He slept there for two days before the Dustin was taken away to be emptied. From there, he gained his freedom and headed back home.

He came back and aided his people in the Biafra war. My mother has never stopped to talk about the bullet wound her soldier brother sustained in his hand during the war. The family persuaded him to never go back to the war front again but he remained resolute and went back to fight.

Although he fought at the war front for the years the war lasted, he wasn’t killed in battle. However, a saboteur from his own community saw to his death when the war was coming to an end

This is one of the reasons I beckon on Biafrans to deal accordingly to the saboteurs (big and small) so as to send a strong warning to the upcoming ones.

By the makings of the Almighty God I am here now and will join the league of those that will fight to restore our dear nation, Biafra, which my great, brave and good-hearted uncle fought for. I shall do that for him.

Nnamdi Kanu: Nnamdi Kanu’s Father is Dead - IPOB

IPOB PRESS RELEASE | THE BIAFRA TIMES

 December 6, 2019

We the global family of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu wish to console the family our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the entire Kanu family and the community of Afaraukwu over the passing  of their father, uncle, brother and traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty Eze Sir Israel Okwu Kanu the Egwu Ukwu II of Afaraukwu who joined his ancestors as a result of health complications arising from the trauma of the invasion of his palace by Nigerian soldiers on September 14, 2017 and most recently over the  shock of the sudden death of his wife Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Okwu Kanu.

We are left in no doubt the military attack on Isiama Afaraukwu and the Kanu family by the armed forces of the Federal Government of Nigeria is the principal cause of death of our leader's parents. We confidently state, without fear of contradiction, that our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have also sacrificed his parents in pursuit of freedom for the people of Biafra. There is no greater act of devotion to a noble cause than this.

Rather than weaken or diminish our resolve to restore Biafra, the passing of our leader's parents will infuse us with a greater sense of determination because only by accomplishing the liberation of Biafra will we truly mourn them.

We are asking Almighty God Chukwu Okike Abiama to grant the family, friends, lovers of freedom, Afaraukwu Eze-in-Council and entire community the fortitude to bear the great loss and vacuum the passing of His Majesty has created in our midst.

NAF’s Failed Attempt to Deny Supplying Weapons to Fulani Herdsmen in Enugu

June 27, 2019

By ELUWA Chidiebere Chinazu | Biafra Writers

The Biafra Times roving news crew gathered that the Nigerian Air Force was seen dropping weapons in Akwuke forest in Enugu state. As is expected, however, the Air Force has denied it.

Of course, no rational being would expect the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to concede that it supplied weapons to a known terrorist organization. Nevertheless, NAF’s denial is akin to Jubril’s response in Poland, “it's the real me.” The reports from Middle Belt about the army aiding and escorting the murderous herdsmen lend credence to the claims of Enugu indigenes.

While making the denial, NAF, however, admitted sending soldiers to Akwuke forest in Enugu. In the statement of denial, the acting Command Public Relations and Information Officer of Headquarters NAF Ground Training Command (GTC), Enugu, Faith Aigbeoghain, said, “The attention of Headquarters GTC of Nigerian Air Force, Enugu, has been drawn to a social media and online story being circulated by some mischievous and misguided elements. The mischievous elements purported that NAF helicopters were being used to `drop weapons’ for Fulani herdsmen in the forest area of Akwuke Community in Enugu South Local Government Area in Enugu State. The report alleged that helicopters had been seen on several occasions flying at a low level and landing in the forest area to discharge their packages. The headquarters of GTC wishes to state that the report is deliberately misleading and obviously concocted by the writer to cause disaffection and incite negative divisive emotions among Nigerians.”

Making her denial seamless, Aigbeoghain said, “NAF has two helicopter training institutions under its purview operating in Enugu for several years. These are International Helicopter Flying School (IHFS) and 405 Helicopter Combat Training Group (405 HCTG), whose training curricula include low level flying around the forest areas near Akwuke which is one of their designated training areas.”

Ventilating the NAF press statement one can see lies upon lies contained therein. According to NAF, these two helicopters have been training in that particular forest for several years now. If so, how come the people are not used to the training helicopters landing in that particular forest? Before now no alarm has been raised in Enugu about the landing of a training helicopter; how come the sudden alarm?

Well, the people have not forgotten that the Nigerian military denied invading the residence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The people saw arms being dropped from the helicopters secretly in the forest for the marauding herdsmen. That this happened at a time the herders are threatening to overrun Biafra-land leaves nothing to be imagined. The pictorial evidence provided by Akwuke indigenes made it impossible for NAF to deny sending helicopters to that forest, and so they concocted the story of training in the forest.

It should be remembered that when the people of Middle Belt raised a similar alarm, it was dismissed as false alarm; yet, it turned out to claim thousands of lives. In the same manner, Biafrans are crying out today. They have been crying out for long, have been ignored and have been done a terrible hand by Islamic jihadists in the guise of Fulani herders. The world should come to our rescue, please.

Nigeria: America condemns Nigerian Government, says it uses state agents for unlawful killings

March 18, 2019 || The Biafra Times

The United States has accused the Federal Government of Nigeria and it agents of committing “arbitrary and unlawful killings.”

US made this known in a recent report titled, “2018 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices” available on the Department of State website.

The report, which took a look at Nigeria’s human rights record alleged that the government had breached some human rights laws.

“Human rights issues included unlawful and arbitrary killings by both government and nonstate actors; forced disappearances by both government and nonstate actors; torture by both government and nonstate actors and prolonged arbitrary detention in life-threatening conditions particularly in government detention facilities; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions including civilian detentions in military facilities, often based on flimsy or no evidence; infringement on citizens’ privacy rights; criminal libel; substantial interference with the rights of peaceful assembly and freedom of association.

“There were several reports the government or its agents committed arbitrary and unlawful killings. The national police, army, and other security services used lethal and excessive force to disperse protesters and apprehend criminals and suspects and committed other extrajudicial killings. Authorities generally did not hold police, military, or other security force personnel accountable for the use of excessive or deadly force or for the deaths of persons in custody. State and federal panels of inquiry investigating suspicious deaths generally did not make their findings public.

“In August 2017 the acting president convened a civilian-led presidential investigative panel to review compliance of the armed forces with human rights obligations and rules of engagement, and the panel submitted its findings in February. As of November, no portions of the report had been made public.”

The report, however, added that the government took steps to “Investigate alleged abuses but fewer steps to prosecute officials who committed violations, whether in the security forces or elsewhere in the government. Impunity remained widespread at all levels of government. The government did not adequately investigate or prosecute most of the major outstanding allegations of human rights violations by the security forces or the majority of cases of police or military extortion or other abuse of power.”

Christians' Killings: More Civilian Christians Targeted As Nigerian Air Force Jet Bombs Two Communities In Benue

By Princewill Akubumma | For Biafra Writers

June 20, 2019

Nigerian Christians, in recent times, have become the most endangered species in the African continent since after the return of Muhammadu Buhari to power in 2015 as the Nigerian president.

Ever since then, the Christians in Nigeria have been faced with severe persecution at the hands of the Fulani-Islamic Nigerian army of occupation and oppression who has unapologetically become a willing tool constantly used for the ongoing state-sponsored terrorism against civilian Christian population in Nigeria whom they ironically swore to protect.

Muhammadu Buhari who came from Daura, a Fulani tribe in northern Nigeria has been treating his kinsmen, the rampaging Fulani herdsmen terrorists, who has been unleashing mayhem on the Christian communities bearing sophisticated weapons, with kid gloves while their brethren in the Nigerian army was providing them with cover and logistics.

It is heart wrenching that the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has been showing rather insensitive to the systematic killing of Christians, almost on daily basis, in Nigeria by either the Fulani herdsmen or the official killing the arm of the Nigerian army whom most of their senior officers are from the Fulani tribe of northern Nigeria.

READ: Herdsmen Killings: Farmers In Ishiagu And The Fulani Fight For Supremacy

Reports about human rights violation by the Nigerian army, police, Navy and Airforce against the Nigerian Christians has become a norm in Nigeria since the heads and/or commanders of these uniformed parastatals are from the Fulani-Islamic ethnic group who always receives the nod of the sitting President Buhari in their unabated atrocities. The Buhari administration always rubbishes such reports coming from Amnesty International and Transparency International in many occasions, including renting a crowd of hungry and 'lazy' Nigerian youths.

Worthy of note is the recent air raid carried out by the Nigerian Airforce in Nigeria whose inhabitants are predominantly Christians. The bombing took place over the weekend on June 16, 2018, in two towns in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue state leaving many civilian buildings totally destroyed with lots of human casualties.

It is quite unfortunate that the Nigerian Airforce and their colleagues in the army and navy have been unleashing terror on Christians of the Middle-Belt at any slightest or no provocation at all.

In early March of 2018, the Nigerian army aided their kinsmen the Fulani herdsmen in burning down houses deserted by the Christian farmers in the state who were fleeing from the onslaught of the killer herdsmen over an alleged death of a soldier who was said to have been mistaken for a herdsman.

READ ALSO: Biafra: After a successful Sit-at-Home exercise by Biafrans, what new evil does the Nigerian Army have in the offing?

Meanwhile, the incident of Saturday's bombing was not farfetched from a similar incident that occurred on January 17, 2017 which witnessed the bombing of an internally displaced persons' (IDPs) camp in another Christian town of Rann in Borno state when the same infamous Nigerian Airforce bombarded the IDP camp in a broad daylight, leaving many casualties and many others maimed in the process. Yet, up until this moment, the Islamic government of Buhari has not found it noteworthy of setting up an investigative panel to ascertain the cause of the disaster but only chose to believe the flimsy excuses given on the pages of newspaper by the chief of air staff that such air raid was a mistake which if any conscientious person or government should accept such an unreasonable excuse, he should come to the conclusion that such action was as a result of incompetence on the part of the Airforce personnel and their commander. In addition, and in order to ensure justice, the trigger-happy Fulani terrorists in army uniform should have undergone prosecution for causing mass murder but unfortunately, all these were swept under the carpet and forgotten simply because the victims are Christians who have become refugees in their own country.

The world leaders, the international community and of course, the US President Donald Trump should, as a matter of urgency, intervene in this matter in order to save the teeming population of Christians in Nigerian whose lives is in danger from extinction. The US government has to take a bold step to sanction the Nigerian state by cancelling the proposed selling of Tucano jets, or any other arms deal with Nigeria until they begin to respect and protect human rights from being grossly abused since any weapon sold to them will be invariably used by the Islamic terrorists in military uniform for the continued violation of human rights in the country.
Furthermore, as the latest nominee for the Nobel peace prize, Trump should as well prevail on the United Nations and the African Union to conduct a referendum which is seemingly the only best democratic option for a lasting peace to the Muslim-Christian crisis in Nigeria for the people to decide whether or not to continue staying in the union which has failed to work for over a century and still counting.
