Biafra: IPOB’s defense for Innoson Motors, a show of return to the ancestral way of life led by the Nri Kingdom

By: Eluwa Chidiebere || For Biafra Writers

December 31, 2017

History is continually being made with this present generation of Biafrans by their going back to their ancient culture, tradition and religion. The Biafran state you see today, was an egalitarian yet unified Kingdom with one language, culture, tradition and religion. It is the coming of human evolution that makes it appear as if they were different ethnic groups due to some menial differences brought about by the evolution of their major Igbo language. Of course, such a cause and effect is bound to take its toll on a people very eager to dominate and progress in life.

Today in Israel, what happened to the people of Biafra also happened to them due to the fact that they share the same ancestry in common. In Israel, not only their languages but some of their traditions varies. The Jews and the Hebrews do not share same language but that does not in any way dispute the fact that Jacob is their ancestor.

The Nri Kingdom is an ancient kingdom in Biafra land in the present Anambra State which is why today; Anambra indigenes are the original first sons of Biafra land— this is the home state where the manager of Innoson Motors, Innocent Chukwuma, hails from. The Nri Kingdom was founded around 900AD by the ancestor, Eri, the son of Gad and Gad the son of the Biblical Jacob. The people of Nri Kingdom includes the people of Awka and Onitsha to the east of Nri kingdom, the Efik, the Ibibio and the Ijaw to the south, Nsukka and Igala to the north and Asaba and Anioma to the west of Nri. Inside these names mentioned above includes other ones like the Itshekiri, Izon, Idoma, etc. Due to human evolution, and as time progresses, many things have changed but some of their traditions remained unique and unchanged till date.

In those days, the people were trained never to abandon their own people but to do everything possible to defend them in every circumstance. Unity was high and enjoyed among the people. Other kingdoms feared them for the great unity they uphold. “Onye aghala nwanne ya,’’ meaning never abandon your own, was a popular saying in Nri Kingdom. With this genius behaviour, great kings (Ezes) were made; one of them was Eze Nri Obalike, the 15th Eze of Nri Kingdom. This king also was as fearless like his predecessors. He never abandoned his people and culture even at gunpoint by the colonialists. As the Eze of Nri Kingdom, he stood against slavery in Africa.

This day, Biafrans have reiterated and demonstrated that by standing in solidarity with one of their own Mazi Innocent Chukwuma, the founder and CEO of INNOSON Motors, through the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu-led IPOB. Throughout the record of history, the Nigerian government is such that is determined to render defunct Biafra regions of the Eastern Nigeria, impotent and barren through her inordinate policies. She has been violently attacking her(Biafra's) inherent talents and cooking up all manner of charges just to torment, disband and finally shutdown their investments. In Biafra land, there are three international seaports that have been long abandoned by government including the airports and the federal government is deliberately keeping mute over that. In Aba, Abia State, the Nigerian government closed down profitable factories like; Aba Ceramics, Golden Guinea and Glass factories. The likes of these is also Ibeto cement industry and many more which were closed down by the same government.

But this time around, thanks to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the voice from the East that changed and returned the people to whom they were. The only voice that stood against all odds and came out victorious. He pressed his people to go back to “onye aghala nwanne ya’’ and that they have done correctly this time and the result is eloquent. This action we took by protesting for one of our own, Mazi Innocent Chukwuma and the result thereafter will make us to understand that civilization is not about abandoning your way of life but upgrading it with the current evolution. As seen with the INNOSON motors, the churches and the present day compromised leaders in our midst, couldn't do much only standing helplessly watching as an innocent man was being vilified and taken away by the forces of darkness. From all practicable purposes, only IPOB can save the Biafran people because that which is worn by the hand needs no mirror to know its quality.

BIAFRA: GTBANK BOYCOTT MUST CONTINUE

By Agha Egwu

December 27, 2017

If you bribe in Nigeria it is not always a sin. It is usually a necessary act of survival. A better word is extortion and we must differentiate between bribery and extortion. Bribery is when you use cash or kind to induce a government servant to get what you don't deserve. Extortion is when a government servant demands cash or kind to give you what you deserve.

In Nigeria both are classed as briibery and corruption. What should naturally come to you is blocked by unscrupulous government officers. They demand bribe. You are forced to use underhand routes. You may even carry out criminal actions like forging documents in order to get good things done. Years later they can use these instruments they forced you to do as a reason to clamp you in jail when they caused it in the first place. If you did not do what you had to do, you would fail to achieve the great dreams you set out to achieve.

Consider Innoson. Here is a young man with an incredible dream - to build Africa's first true car manufacturer. It is a thing to be hailed by EVERY African. Goodluck Jonathan responded by declaring 30% of government car purchases must come from Innoson. That is the right thing to do. Buhari responded by cancelling that order. That is the wrong thing to do.

Nevertheless patriotic government officials have been ordering from Innoson. That is the right thing to do. Some other government departments, led by the EFCC, have joined in the effort to pull down the company in the name of law enforcement with their usual spurious charges, backed up by more spurious propaganda. That is the wrong thing to do.

Ben Bruce, a non-Igbo, an Ijaw, responded by promoting it on the floor of the Senate. That is the right thing to do. Many Yoruba responded by declaring the boycott an attack on a Yoruba bank. That was the wrong thing to do.

If you believe GTB, they responded by giving a loan. That was the right thing to do. Then when certain financial obligations could not be met they blocked clearing the goods from the customs. That was the wrong thing to do. Innoson needed to clear the goods in order to achieve the dream of Africa's first car manufacturer - a great achievement.

Customs did terrible things. They seized and sold Innoson's spare parts. They extorted Innoson, probably after some hanky panky, to clear the goods and pay off GTB. It is either somebody in GTB released the documents or customs created documents but what had to be done, had to be done, for the dream of Africa's first car manufacturer to survive. It was not a crime by Innoson. It was an extortion on Innoson to ensure survival of a great dream.

Years later, enter Buhari, a despotic bigot who wants to destroy Igbo businesses, and despite court victories for Innoson, his attack dogs, dredged out documents of bribery and forgery to try and destroy the great dream of Africa's first car manufacturer. They committed the crime of extortion but they are blaming Innoson.

So they line up GTB, Customs and EFCC to do the damage and destroy Innoson. They have done it to Ibeto. They have burnt Igbo markets deliberately. We know this is real.

Let me make it clear that this is not a fight for Igbo alone. It is a fight for all of Africa, all black people everywhere, that the Nigerian Government out of either envy, ethnic hatred, religious zeal or some foul emotion, wants to destroy Africa's first manufacturer instead of going out of its way to support it.

Mali, an Islamic country, is specially ordering Inosson cars to support an African manufacturer. That is what all African leaders should do. But the incredibly narrow minded Nigerian leadership wants to destroy it.

I call upon all Igbos, all Southerners, all sensible patriotic Nigerians and all true Africans to fight this evil ideology of the Nigerian Government. We cannot fight Nigerian customs or EFCC with demonstrations, but we can fight GTB by closing down our accounts.

We have to fight GTB not because it is a Yoruba led bank, but because it is a bank that instead of finding ways to support Africa's first car manufacturer, they are teaming up with the agencies of an ethnic, nepotistic, despotic government to destroy Africa's greatest manufacturing pride.

WE MUST NOT ALLOW IT. GTB is the only soft underbelly of this evil dancing python and smiling crocodile that we can attack. It is because we attacked GTB that they in GTB appealed to the Federal Government to let Innoson out of jail. That attack must continue until they drop all trumped up charges against Innoson.

Reading the Daily Trust Newspaper, a propaganda sheet of the Buhari Government, you could have thought Innoson was the worst crook in Nigeria ever. He is reported to have forged documents, bribed and assembled thugs to fight the police.

Wow! It sounds more like a Colombian drug lord than the most successful business man in Africa - why the most? What he did is unique. He did not use Dangote's monopoly, he is not merely buying and selling, but his is science and technology by a young man who had no university education. That is unique for Africa.

THE BOYCOTT AGAINST GTB MUST CONTINUE until GTB sues for peace and stops the Government pythons and crocodiles or GTB goes down. To relent now is to allow evil to win.

This is because our first attack let Innoson out of jail but they intend to continue to prosecute and harass him. Clearly GTB has not learnt its lesson.

If you have closed your account, find someone who has not closed their account, show them this article and urge them to save Africa's only indigenous car manufacturer by closing their GTB accounts or moving money.

Let me make this quite clear. GTB is one of many great banks in Nigeria. We do not want GTB to go down, but it is better for one of many great banks to go down than for Africa's only car manufacturer to go down. No Igbo, no Southerner, no patriotic Nigerian, no true African, no concerned blackman, no responsible global citizen should let this happen.

Let GTB do the right thing and call off the dogs of ethnicity, nepotism, bigotry and despotism before we halt our attacks. But if their pride will not let them, let them go down.

At the same time we must all rally round Africa's Innoson and give it the support it needs by making your next vehicle an Innoson. Let us demand wherever we are that our government departments, our companies, our states, our countries buy Innoson. Let Africa protect and grow Africa's first
true indigenous manufacturer.

Innoson: IPOB Frown At Ongoing Harassment Of Notable Biafran Businessmen By Northern Headed Agencies

December 20, 2017

Press Statement

IPOB condemn the recent and ongoing harassment of notable Biafran businesmen especially those of Igbo extraction by the Nigerian Government and her security agencies.

The leadership and family members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide condemn in the strongest possible terms the recent and ongoing harassment of notable Biafran businesmen especially those of Igbo extraction by the Nigerian Government and her security agencies. Not content with the economic emasculation of the Biafran territories through decades of punitive policies, the few successful businesses that made it against all odds like Chief Innocent Chukwuma the owner of Innoson Motors who is now being harassed and humiliated publicly by agencies headed by Northerners for three major reasons:

1. The impotency of political leadership in the East, coupled with intellectual myopia of the governing class. This remains the leading contributing factor to the unrelenting humiliation of leading figures from both the South East/South South by Arewa North and her para military institutions.

2. Ongoing policy of de-industrialisation of the East. Had Innoson sited his factory in Lagos or Kaduna, every possible line of credit would have been extended to him but due to the fact his company is located in Enugu, he must be chased down and destroyed. This hopefully is to serve as a deterrent to others who might be entertaining the idea of relocating their businesses to Biafraland.

3. Politics of appeasement and sabotage of collective interest by Ohaneze Ndigbo, PANDEF and similar interest groups. Age long South East/South South political philosophy of cowardly acquiescence to the dictates of the North, regardless of the consequences on the psyche and well being of the masses, is a major motivator for government agencies, headed by Northerners, to destroy indigenous Biafran businessmen at will. Nigeria is guided by the knowledge that politicians from the two geo-political zones that make up Biafra are terrified of the mythical might of their Northern masters and will be prepared to condone every manner of evil against their own people.

Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors are to blame for this major embarrassment and humiliation of the topmost entrepreneur in black Africa. What Innoson Motors has accomplished so far, no Indigenous business in Sub-Saharan Africa has been able to do. If Innoson Motors were owned by a Northern Hausa Fulani man, he would have been revered and idolised to high heavens. But because it is a business owned and run by a Biafran and equally sited in Biafraland, it must be destroyed.

Since the emergence of this Buhari regime, Biafrans of Igbo extraction have been lurching from one persecution another. After Operation Python Dance which had the backing of Ohaneze Ndigbo leadership and South East governors, the Buhari regime have turned it's attention to the destruction of economic interests in the South East starting with Innoson Motors, in the hope of frustrating the first indigenous automobile company in West Africa because he opened his factory in Igboland.

The effect of this ongoing persecution of Innoson Motors Company is as a direct result of the impotency of Igbo leadership exemplified by Nwodo's stewardship of Ohaneze Ndigbo. Today, the effects of the age long sabotage of public interest by the likes of Ohaneze Ndigbo and imposed political leadership have started manifesting negatively on our people. Arewa Consultative Forum, Northern Governors Forum and Arewa Caucuses in the National Assembly will never allow Dangote to be humiliated the same way Ohaneze, South East governors and Abuja based politicians allowed Chief Chukwuma to be so publicly insulted.

We are warning those involved in the orchestrated campaign to frustrate Innoson Motors to desist from their evil act before it is too late.
