Leave our people out of herdsmen killing in Ebonyi – Benue Govt tells Umahi

The Benue State Government has asked its Ebonyi State counterpart to hold the Fulani herdsmen responsible for attacks in the state particularly the recent killings in Umwuagodo-Akpu community of Ohaukwu Local Government Area.

DAILY POST reports that Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State had accused the Agila Community in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State of launching attacks on Ebonyi community which led to the killing of unspecified number of residents recently.

Reacting, the Deputy Government of Benue State and Chairman Benue Boundary Committee, Engr Benson Abounu in a statement on Friday urged Umahi to leave Benue out of attacks in the Ebonyi Communities.

Engr Abounu, who expressed disappointment over Governor Umahi’s allegation, urged him to conduct a proper investigation on the incident and retract his claim.

According to him, residents of the attacked community had identified the assailants as Fulani herdsmen yet Umahi insisted that the people of Agila were involved in the attack.

The statement reads: “While we sympathize with the victims and families of those affected in the gruesome attack, it is important to state that there is no evidence linking the Agila people of Benue State with the offence.

“We are surprised at the attempt by the Ebonyi State Governor to change the narrative and find scapegoats for an action everyone, including the survivors themselves said was carried out by Fulani herdsmen.

“When the attack first occurred, even without any form of verification, and against the avalanche of evidence that it was carried out by Fulani herdsmen, Governor Umahi had hurriedly accused Agila people of responsibility.

“Today, two weeks after, in order to validate his earlier assertion, Governor Umahi is laying blame on the Agila people even as he has accepted that the attack was actually carried out by Fulani herdsmen. He now says that the herdsmen were hired by Benue people. Even a gullible public will find this difficult to swallow.

“It will be recalled that victims of the aitack had categorically identified herdsmen as the attackers. In spite of this, the Governor still went ahead to accuse the Agila people who convincingly absolved themselves of the atrocity.

“Given the foregoing, we are now compelled to ask of Governor Umahi the following questions:

“How did he come about the statement that the Agila people hired the Fulani herdsmen killers?

“Where is the evidence supporting the claim that Agila hired the herdsmen attackers?

“Did any Fulani herdsman tell Governor Umahi that the Agila people hired his kinsmen?

“Has Governor Umahi bothered to interact with the Agila side to ascertain the truth or otherwise of the claim?

“Let me state here that when news of the attack broke and the Governor cast aspersion on the Benue side, I, as Benue Deputy Governor and Boundary Committee Chairman, engaged my Ebonyi counterpart and we both investigated the unfortunate incident. Our findings did not support the claim that Agila people either directly attacked or masterminded the attack on Umuogodo-Akpu of Ebonyi State.

“I believe that it is now pertinent to request the Governor of Ebonyi State to make available all evidence, if any, of Agila’s involvement in the said attack. Otherwise we in Benue will have no choice but to conclude that the Governor’s unfounded claim amounts to inciting his people against Agila people and by extension Benue State. Moreso as the Governor in his press briefing after the State Security meeting, presented a cheque of N40m to Umuogodo-Akpu people to settle the victims AND to enable them form a “Vigilante”!!

“This, in our view, is dangerous coming from the Governor of a State. We will therefore demand that Governor Umahi takes a second look at the whole saga in order to properly address the unfortunate event”.

PROTECT IGBO COMMUNITIES IN BENUE OR ESN WILL MOVE IN, IPOB TELLS GOV. ORTOM

It has become very imperative that we the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,  bring to the attention of Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue State how Fulani terrorists masquerading as herdsmen are terrorizing Igbo communities in his state. The unprovoked genocidal attacks by these murderous bands have intensified in the last one week.

The world has to be aware of this atrocity which has persisted obviously because the Governor failed to rise to his responsibility of protecting lives and property of these innocent Igbo communities in his state.

Recently, the Fulani terrorists herdsmen disguised as  soldiers, and abducted so many people in some Igbo communities. Benue State Governor  Samuel Ortom  must take responsibility for securing these communities or IPOB would move in our gallant Eastern Security Network, ESN operatives to do the needful.

For weeks now the people are being terrorized by hooded Fulani military men on evil mission.

These communities are  living in fears and some have already ran away from their homes.

We can never allow Fulani terrorists to decimate any Biafran community. We will no longer tolerate any unprovoked attack against our people irrespective of where they reside. Gov. Ortom must act now or ESN will rise to the occasion!  ESN  will launch a serious operation to chase the killer Fulani out of Benue if Gov Samuel Ortom cannot protect Igbo Biafrans living in Benue. 

The Benue government must as a matter of urgency ensure that the Chief of Ataloga and others abducted are released , and no harm befalls them , otherwise, ESN will unleash its venom in the state against the Fulani.

Based on our findings, the worst hit of Fulani herdsmen attack is Ataloga community where men in military uniform kidnapped three innocent locals.  The victims include Chief of the community, Mazi Boniface;  IPOB Coordinator and the youth leader of Ndigwe community. Others including Chief Simon Nweke from Ndiighe in Ado LGA; and Patrick Nweke, Youth President of Ndiighe in Ado LGA.

Other Igbo villages under siege now in Izi, Oju LGA of Benue State are:  Edele village, Ogbala Izi village, Onyenu village, Obokata village, Ekpuphu village and Idele Izi  village.

Others include: Ndi Nwankwo village,  Osidi village , Usebe village, Eka village, Ikari village , Ameka village, Edear village and others.  

In Inikiri Izi  in Ado LGA, the besieged villages include:   iniKiri village, Okputu village, Amaeka village, Ojiegbe village, Odun village, Echeri village, One village, and Odoke village.

 Others are Ameulla village, Obusirike village, Eri village, Epkekere Village,  Ndigbaraoso Village, Odi Village, Opkoricho Village, and others.            

These are villages in Ebonyi State mistakenly carved into Benue State, and Gov. Samuel Ortom must secure and protect them. We need explanation why he failed to protect these halples folks from Fulani terrorists attack. 

Intelligence report at our disposal indicates that Fulani terrorists camped and operate from that axis , enter Ebonyi State, Enugu State, and Cross River State where they launch attack on our people and move back.  But now IPOB and ESN are prepared, and won't  allow them any breeding ground in our ancestral land!

The Foolishness of IPOB

There have been so many claims about this particular group, IPOB. One thing is sure however:  the group is moving with such great momentum that Nigerian government is having sleepless nights. The world over have heard the cry of Biafra.

Without firing a bullet, IPOB is dismantling the evil axis called Nigeria – Nigga Area. Through their peaceful protests, the group has managed to stage their demands to the international communities. More waves of positive reactions to the struggle are now being witnessed around the world.

Evidently, most of Kanu’s predictions have come to pass. This leaves many wondering if the IPOB leader is just a natural man. As can be pinpointed in his broadcasts, the charismatic leader of Biafra always proclaims that Chiukwu Okike Abiahma (God of Creation) is the only true God and the one Biafrans serve. Is this Chukwu Abiama revealing things ahead to him therefore?

Kanu and his group, IPOB, have undermined the international relationship the Nigger-area (Nigeria) has with her international allies. Even internally, there is a rising awareness of the evils and failures of the Nigger-area government. Soldiers are resigning, and in strong condemning terms. Most of these soldiers who resigned are from the old eastern region (Biafra) and the reasons cited for their resignation corroborate all Kanu have been saying.

One-Nigeria apologists have often called IPOB members foolish, but IPOB in their foolishness is sinking the Nigerian ship. Remember Kanu’s famous outburst in Abuja High court? I will destroy Nigeria with truth!  Seems the fearless Biafra leader is living up to his word.

Killing Of Christians: Blame Games, The Trademark Of Buhari’s Administration

Since Muhammadu Buhari forcefully took over the helm of Nigeria's affairs as president, he had never lived up to expectations prior to his electioneering campaign promises of the proverbial 'Change'.

For almost an end to a 4-year tenure now, the administration of this Fulani herders  sponsored government have been living on lies, blame-games, deception, and incessant killings of defenceless Biafran Christians.

The statement of Buhari during his visit to United States President Donald Trump where he blamed late Muammar Gaddafi of Libya as the cause of the problem surrounding the incessant killings of Biafran-christians across the country is not only callous but a national disgrace. According to Buhari who stated that the people causing the killings are not Fulani herdsmen from Nigeria but rather  bandits across the borders who were once trained by Col. Gaddafi during his 43 years of reign who began their journey down from the Sahel to Nigeria where they started their killing spree which has been unabated.

There are so many questions begging for answers as regards to this blame game of Muhammadu Buhari as an excuse for trying to exonerate himself from the carnage being perpetrated on daily basis in Nigeria.

It is pertinent to note that Col. Gaddafi died on 20th of October 2011 which is 5 years before Buhari came into power, now between 2011 and 2015 after the death of Gaddafi when Buhari assumed office where was the so-called Gaddafi's trained boys (The Fulani Herdsmen)?  The truth is that the number of herdsmen and the impunity with which they go about killing people especially Biafran-Christians everyday with less attention and combat from the government since the inception of Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is a clear evidence that they are being backed by a powerful Muslim president and groups.

All the series of killings orchestrated by the Muslims and supported by Buhari is part of their strategy to implement the Sharia law and spread Jihad all over Nigeria.

No doubt, the Fulani herdsmen is on the  verge of islamizing Nigeria with their latest Jihad war been carried out by Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen on daily basis.

With the kinds of sophisticated and military weapons the Fulani Herdsmen terrorist wield and the lack of proactive measures on the intelligent reports from local Vigilante groups on the activities of the Herdsmen, one must agree that these terrorists are been sponsored by the government to unleash a deadly jihadist war on Biafra-Christains.

The international communities must henceforth desist from listening to the numerous lies being peddled by Muhammadu Buhari.

Don't Be Fooled Because They Won't Ensure Justice - Modestus Iyke writes Benue People

Dear Benue people,

No time is too late to congratulate you regarding the epic events in your state. If not because of the life involved, I would have said let the killings continue in Benue state because it is good for them.Where is your Paul Unongo?Is he tired of leading the Northern forum with his unguided mouth against the Igbos? Maybe he doesn’t know that “Food is Ready” is not for free. The real restructuring of Nigeria would have happened in 1967 after the Aburi dialogue in Ghana spearheaded by Ojukwu, but Gowon manipulated and used Benue extracts like Onoja’s family who not only stopped the move but killed many Igbos.

They claimed to be more North than the caliphate, they said they are one indivisible North. Not long ago, Paul Unongo and other Benue indigenes said IPOB is a terrorist group that deserved no mercy, they insulted Igbos and claimed Igbos are a problem of Nigeria. Now the music is steadily at their doorstep, they should stop complaining, stop disturbing other states, don’t demonstrate because the demonstration is terrorism too. They should just dance their music.

They thought that only the Igbos will forever suffer the injustice.The same people attacking Igbos for wanting to separate from cow lovers are now begging to secede from North to South. That Enugu is close to Benue doesn’t make them a Southern state. Benue should enjoy their North alone, we don’t need them in the South anymore because they are now a conquered Fulani territory, a hard truth that people will never believe but a mission accomplished by the Fulanis.

The very mission the Fulanis couldn’t reach after conquering Kwara and moved to Benue but resisted and denied such opportunity by the powerful Tivs, they finally or about to accomplish that mission in the 21st century. Yes, Tivs are powerful and strong people when it comes to war.

They chased Fulanis after conquering Kwara, and their war eventually met British colonialism and it stopped.But for the fact that a Fulani man is a memory man, the case of Benue state today is not just all about Cow but a Fulani agenda, the agenda they failed to fulfill long time ago.

Not considering the above history, Benue state indigenes in 2015 still gave a die-hard sectional Fulani man a massive support of 373,961 votes.And you expect the Fulani man to go against their collective agenda.You are wasting your time.When we fail to read history, we repeat history.Benue state people failed to read history, and they repeated history.So, how does that concern Modestus?

To people of Benue, I say congratulations again. You can only enjoy it because it is part of what your one Nigeria you asked for represents. Whatever goes around, comes around. Yesterday, the victims were Igbos, you clapped and cheered the killers. Today is your turn and no reasonable Igbo will sympathize with you because PUBLIC SIN DEMANDS PUBLIC PENANCE.

And until those Christians in the middle belt understand they are not the original owners of North, the massacre will continue and flimsy excuses will always be given.The matter will still end without arrest and punishment.Call me an Igbo extremist, that’s my name because not only that extreme actions demand extreme response, an objective madman is also better than an educated lunatic.

To other Nigerians, I heard that Herdsmen are new colonial Masters in Nigeria and they need colonies with their AK47s?And some people are supporting the idea of giving them colonies for peace to reign.Pls, which peace are we talking about here?A group that goes around with AK47 and other dangerous weapons and can kill at will without being arrested is the group you are advocating to be pin down in your backyard?

Go back and study Fulani history.Firstly, they are polygamous in nature.With the aid of their polygamy, they can born a state within a year and loves conquering. Once they install an Emir in that your village land, they will not only lay claim to the land given to them for animal rearing but the entire village, from village to entire state.They are heartless, they can finish your entire village within 2 hours.The Fulanis really want to actualize their long-term plans publicly said by Ahmadu Bello in 1960.The establishment of Cattle colony is a master plan.

Those who proposed this cow colonies are supposedly people in government who want to use their office not only to benefit their business but to plant Fulanis among every tribe in Nigeria in a bid to recolonize the primitive tribes of Nigeria.So they pretend as officials that they are helpless before the herdsmen, allowing them to cause havoc at will without a single consequence.They just want the victims to be afraid of the herdsmen and accept any proposal by the government.

Before the cow colonies, they proposed a similar nonsense which is now unpopular.That’s the reason Buhari is constructing a railway to the Niger Republic to bring more Fulanis to Nigeria to complete Usman Dan Fodio’s Fulanis colonization mission.Everybody will live and remember Nnamdi Kanu.

Do you still need further investigations to know where those agents of the death get their weapons from?This is new Nig, this is change, things have changed.Social Scientists know that when transcendental forces like herdsmen operate incessantly, a new order is on the horizon. A man who repeats an action is asserting a right to that action.The unjustifiable silence of Buhari is acceptance because, in law, silence is acceptance.So, lamentation will never save anyone.

People should stop making themselves object of sympathy by appealing to pity.Being a Christian doesn’t make you a Coward and prey to Fulanis.Fighting your enemies does not make you a sinner.Sadly, but true, the world is a place of war, sorrow, tears, bloodshed, pains, and injustice.No one will come to your rescue, not even this Fulanis government. That’s why we need to guard ourselves, defend ourselves, fight the oppressors.The assailants understand this better than the oppressed and won’t allow the oppressed go until unless otherwise the oppressed stands up and demand freedom.Stop being defenseless and fight for yourselves and that of posterity.

Nnamdi KANU said it, some people insulted him, thank God for the reality today. All the government does is to preach their rhetoric “peaceful coexistence”. Modestus is telling you today that there is nothing like peaceful coexistence or it only exists in the book. Don’t be fooled because they won’t ensure justice. If there is peaceful coexistence, let them walk without bodyguards. Dear Christians, if we so much believe in being the descendants of Abraham, we should also be as brave as he was. Read your Bible very well, all great men of old testament led and fought very well for their people.

You can only ask God for his grace to overcome. God can only fight your spiritual battles and give you strength to fight your physical battle. Stop all these fasting and praying and rise up, Fulanis are gradually reducing your population and take your land.I talk real, I hate pretends because I hate deceiving myself.Neglect to your own peril.
