Army vowed to destroy Delta community, Muoboghare insists

February 24, 2020 || The Biafra Times

By Festus Ahon & Perez Brisibe – Delta

Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education and indigene of Uwheru kingdom, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, on Sunday,  insisted that soldiers from the 222 Battalion, Agbarha-Otor vowed to destroy Agadama community if the community failed to produce the corpses of those reportedly killed by armed herdsmen.

Muoboghare while responding to the denial by the army authorities that its personnel did not at any time make such threats, said if the matter was not blown to high heaven, the army would have carried out its threat.

Speaking to Vanguard, he said: “On Saturday when the place was chaotic after the soldiers from Bomadi retreated to go and reinforce, the other Agbara-Otor military team came and they said there was no reason for the protest by the youths and that nobody died.

They insisted that unless they see the dead bodies, they were going to bring down the community and that is the truth and they appealed to me to talk to the community youths to go for the dead bodies if any.

“The soldiers now took the youths into the forest where they met the Fulani herdsmen, and they (soldiers) told the herdsmen saying, ‘give us the dead bodies and the herdsmen said no they will not release them’ and at that point, they dared the soldiers and the soldiers beat a hasty retreat.

“The following day was when they went back and saw some corpses including the ones burnt beyond recognition by the herdsmen. Also, categorically speaking, the Police Commissioner was angry that the DPO Ughelli accepted that those bodies be brought. So they  did not want any evidence with the herdsmen and then on Monday, they went and saw the six corpses and at that point, they could not deny anymore.

When the police said we should bring money for autopsy, I told the community members not to drop one kobo for an autopsy but the Governor brought the money for the autopsy.” “If not that the governor prevailed on the GOC, and the matter became blown, else if it was not blown, they were ready to bring down the community and they said so.

So, these bodies that were exhumed, it was the soldiers that insisted that they are exhumed. We didn’t want to bring the dead bodies to Ughelli but they insisted that they must be exhumed to prove that the herdsmen killed people because they always protect the herdsmen and I will say it again and again.”

ABA: The killing of Mr. Chomaobi Nwogu must be reciprocated at the appropriate time - IPOB

August 8, 2019 | The Biafra Times

IPOB Press Statement

The unprovoked attack and unnecessary killing of  Biafrans by Fulani dominated Nigerian Army throughout Biafranland has taken another gruesome dimension since the emphatic rejection of Fulani Ruga settlements and National Life Stock Programs (NLSP) by Biafrans. The Fulani terrorists in Nigerian Army uniforms stationed accross Biafranland, particularly the ones at the checkpoint along Aba/Ikot-Ekpene Highway, have once again recorded another death of a Biafran youth who is a commercial motorcycle operator (Okada) over his refusal to give them N100 bribe. This is another senseless checkpoint murder by a Fulani security operative in Biafraland.

Nigerian soldiers of Fulani extraction in their usual nonchalant way has killed another person, this time  one Mr Chimaobi Nwogu a commercial motorcycle operator over his refusal to give a bribe of N100 (One Hundred Naira) to them at a checkpoint in Obingwa, Abia State. We wish to reiterate that this unnecessary killing is one too many and must have attending consequences. It must be reciprocated at the appropriate time. It is very pathetic that Nigerian Army  would abandon their constitutional role of defending the borders of Nigeria from external aggression to descend into lowly criminality of extorting One Hundred Naira from motorists on countless checkpoints across Biafraland.

On a daily basis, hungry looking fully armed Nigeria soldiers can be seen chasing and tormenting innocent motorcyclists and bus drivers including private road users who are going about their normal business, just for the sake of N100. The saddest part is that these illegal extortion racket at check-points across Biafraland is non-existent in the north where these soldiers come from. Over the years check-points have become the perfect tool of intimidation and symbol of Fulani Jihadi occupation of Biafraland and must be brought to an end.

Terrorist ravaged core Arewa northern Nigerian has no check-points and Fulani people are not being murdered on a weekly basis by Nigerian soldiers for refusing to pay an illegal extortion fee, but in Biafraland people are being murdered frequently for refusing give money to Nigerian soldiers.

The fact is that blame lies with Okezie Ikpeazu and his fellow quislings in government houses across the East who for the gluttonous opportunity of being rigged back into office by Abba Kyari and his cabal, have mortgaged the destiny of our people to their Fulani overlords. We are under attack on all fronts by killer Fulani herdsmen and trigger happy murderous Fulani soldiers in Nigerian Army uniform. One thing is certain and the Nigerian Army knows this too, the death of Chimaobi will not go unanswered. Every death will be avenged. Those who are in the habit of lying their way through international diplomatic circles must look for a way to spin the senseless murder of this innocent young man at the hands of Fulani Jihadi soldiers bent on extorting money from innocent commuters across Biafraland. Nigerian Army will not get away with this murder, it is one too many.

As we continue to remind the world of the pain and suffering of innocent Biafrans at the hands of the dictatorship that is running Nigeria, let these episodes of senseless brutality against our people be recorded for reference and historic purposes for those that may seek to ignorantly defend Nigeria in the future.

Let it also be on record that IPOB will inevitably  reciprocate accordingly against anybody or institution involved in the killing, harassment or detention of any Biafran. We call on all observers of the misery that Nigeria has become to duly note and be aware of the brutality of the Nigerian state against Biafrans and never blame IPOB for any consequences this cold blooded murder of a young man going about his business will cause across Nigeria. IPOB will without doubt respond to this ugly event in kind.

We continue to call upon the American Ambassador to Nigeria, the British High Commissioner and other nations with diplomatic presence in Abuja and Lagos to convey the bitterness we feel at this loss to their home countries regarding the state of wanton brutality, mayhem, baditry and general lawlessness at the hands of this Fulani APC government, Fulani terror herdsmen and murderous Fulani soldiers in Nigerian Army uniform.

That a Nigerian Army chased a young man into his village and shot him dead in his compound in front of his wife and family is wickedness taken too far. The people of Ntigha-Uzor Community in Obingwa LGA should hold Okezie Ikpeazu and other Igbo governors responsible. Okezie Ikpeazu is giving political protection to Fulani murderers in Abia State because his allegiance and loyalty is to Abba Kyari's ruling Fulani cabal in Aso Rock that rigged him into power and not to the people of Abia State.

Genocide: IPOB place US, UN, EU, AU on notice over the silent genocide against Biafra people, by Nigerian Islamic army

August 1, 2019 || The Biafra Times

IPOB PRESS  RELEASE

We the global family of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) condemn the incessant and illegal arrest of innocent people in Aba Abia State since Saturday 27th July, 2019 by Nigeria soldiers. If the ruling terror sponsoring Fulani cabal in Aso Rock headed by Abba Kyari thinks Nigerian Army can succeed in clearing the path for Miyetti Allah to conquer our land for their Fulani migrants from across the Sahel, then they are mistaken.

We are asking the United States ambassador to Nigeria, his British counterpart, EU representative and African Union to note the level of lawlessness being unleashed on peace loving Biafrans by men of the Nigeria Army. A combined force of the Nigerian Army, Police and other security outfits have started providing logistical, intelligence and ground offensive support for the advancing murderous Fulani herdsmen.  Nigerian Army formations in Biafraland have become in effect the advance guard of the invading Fulani terrorists. People are being kidnapped, summarily executed and detained without trial as a way of weakening our resolve in our avowed resistance against Aso Rock sponsored Islamisation agenda in the south.

We know the US mission to Nigeria, British High Commission and the rest will pretend they don't know what is happening but we encourage them to send a fact finding mission to Aba as a matter of urgency to gain a first hand knowledge of the silent genocide being committed by the Nigerian Army against innocent civilian Biafran populations.

If the United States embassy and British High Commission in Nigeria is part of this devilish Fulani ploy to destroy and conquer Biafraland they should let the world know rather than looking the other way as the brutal massacre of civilians continue unabated across Biafraland.

The unconstitutional and illegal arrest of Biafran citizens in Aba since last Saturday must stop. This same Nigerian Army that has failed woefully to fight Boko Haram or curb the activities of their fellow Fulani terror herdsmen are in Aba arresting people at Ehi Road by Kent, close to the shopping center. There they have been abducting dozens of innocent citizens and taking them to unknown locations. None of their victims has ever returned alive. Nigerian soldiers are in Aba terrorizing the residents for the benefit of their Fulanisation agenda. There is no war going on anywhere in Biafraland but every kilometer is Fulani army checkpoint. Civilized nations of the world must prevail upon the Abba Kyari led government of Nigeria and her Nigerian Army to disclose the whereabouts of those they abducted and where their dead bodies are.

The Nigerian Army arrested more than 50 people at a place known as Abia State Amalgamated Tricycle Operators Association (ASATOA) office in Aba along Kent Street. They equally arrested 25 people at Afor-Une in Umungasi and St Michael's Road Aba near NUJ office. It was a wicked sight according to the passers-by and eyewitnesses. The Fulani Islamic solders who were on this mission boasted and shouted that they will soon start arresting ladies and mothers that wear mini skirt or any form of short dress in Aba. They are in effect enforcing Islamic Sharia law in 100% Judeo-Christian Aba. Is it now the duty of an army to enforce the dress code of women in a supposed secular democracy?

We wish to place the United States Ambassador to Nigeria on notice that mass arrests and cold blooded execution of Biafrans going on in Aba is unacceptable. We duly expect him to notify the State Department in Washington about this ugly development. We know the British High Commission in Nigeria will always support any Fulani murderous expansionism against Biafrans but it will be prudent for the diplomatic community to understand that we will not allow this Nigerian Army of occupation to get continue to get away with murder. When we start the defense of our land  nobody should blame us.

Mainstream media in Nigeria should equally note what the Nigerian Army is doing in Aba for future reference because we shall resist this silent genocide in our land with all our might and when we do, they should always remember the Nigerian Army first started it.

With all these going on in Aba, we call on men and women of goodwill across the world to prevail upon the  Nigerian government of Fulani in Aso Rock and their Nigerian Army to release the dead bodies of those they arrested and executed on Saturday in Aba without further delay because they committed no crime.

Biafra: IPOB raise alarm over the barbaric torture of its family members including a 3 years old baby, unlawfully arrested in Akwa Ibom

IPOB PRESS RELEASE || The Biafra Times

14/06/2019

We the global family of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) condemn in it's entirety the continued and barbaric torture of IPOB family members arrested in Akwa Ibom State yesterday 12th of June, 2019. A combined forces of Police, Army and DSS descended on a peaceful gathering and abducted over 122 innocent and unarmed citizens  including a three year old child that committed no crime. Security agencies through this wholly barbaric and undemocratic act have unwittingly highlighted the fact that Akwa Ibom State is part and parcel of the agitation for Biafra independence. Abducting and illegally detaining people is the greatest recruitment weapon for IPOB. So better know their arrest and brutality will never deter us.

Those that sought to pigeon- hole IPOB agitation as an Igbo affair will now understand very clearly that other ethnic nationalities within enclave of Biafra are yearning for freedom too.

We must warn that Ibiobio Biafrans are under server torture at the hands of northern Fulani soldiers and Police garrisoned in Akwa Ibom and every other part of Biafraland to intimidate and humiliate our people.

The abduction of 140 IPOB members in Enugu State last month and this recent 122 in Akwa Ibom State on 12th of June 2019 is an indication that Nigerian  government headed by Fulani Jihadists, aided and abated by sections of the Yoruba political class are in total dilemma over the tenacity and determination we continue to demonstrate in the face of a brutal crackdown.

We understand the Nigerian government is doing this because of the total compliance seen in Akwa Ibom during the sit at home order issued by IPOB high command to remember and honour our fallen heroes and heroines who sacrificed their early precious lives during the serial killings and genocidal war organised and conducted against the people of Biafra from 1966 to 1970.

Our people were abducted in the state of Akwa Ibom because of the unity flowing in our vain among the people in the whole of Biafraland. It is clearly in the public domain that our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is moving across the globe like a wide fire unifying and bringing Biafrans all over the world together for the total liberation of our homeland. Therefore, this has recently put Fulani government and cabals in Aso Rock into more panic and confusion.

We are aware that our people were arrested to stop them from strategizing to drive home the demand for Biafra referendum in Akwa Ibom which is targeted to become a reality by the last quarter or end of this year.

We are not cowed by the fact that Fulani military in Biafraland summoned the courage to intimidate and humiliate our fathers, mothers, sisters and youths who came out in support of Biafra freedom. It is on record that Fulani military, Police and DSS cannot intimidate or harass, Alamijri, Fulani Herdsmen or Boko Haram terrorists in the whole of the north.

We are reliably informed that Nigeria Government, Hausa Fulani security operatives in Akwa Ibom State especially police commissioner and his killer squad selected over 70 people from among those abducted illegally yesterday in Akwa Ibom State and transferred them to a secret and unknown place for possible execution with the support of APC government in Abuja and members in the State.

It was also gathered that they have perfected plans to start house to house search against anybody suspected to be sympathizer or IPOB member in Akwa Ibom State. Those selected from the arrested members are undergoing serious and severe torture, at the time of the issuing of this statement.

It is pathetic that Nigeria security forces who cannot afford to stop or curtail Fulani Herdsmen and Boko Haram terrorists who are rampaging and killing people in every part of the country are only strong in abducting IPOB members who come out to demand for referendum. It is the responsibility of the governor of Akwa Ibom State Dr. Emmanuel Udom, members of the state House of Assembly and other stakeholders in the State to do the needful by prevailing upon the Fulani police in Akwa Ibom to release those they abducted including a three year old child without further delay.

Nigeria: America condemns Nigerian Government, says it uses state agents for unlawful killings

March 18, 2019 || The Biafra Times

The United States has accused the Federal Government of Nigeria and it agents of committing “arbitrary and unlawful killings.”

US made this known in a recent report titled, “2018 Country Reports on Human Rights Practices” available on the Department of State website.

The report, which took a look at Nigeria’s human rights record alleged that the government had breached some human rights laws.

“Human rights issues included unlawful and arbitrary killings by both government and nonstate actors; forced disappearances by both government and nonstate actors; torture by both government and nonstate actors and prolonged arbitrary detention in life-threatening conditions particularly in government detention facilities; harsh and life-threatening prison conditions including civilian detentions in military facilities, often based on flimsy or no evidence; infringement on citizens’ privacy rights; criminal libel; substantial interference with the rights of peaceful assembly and freedom of association.

“There were several reports the government or its agents committed arbitrary and unlawful killings. The national police, army, and other security services used lethal and excessive force to disperse protesters and apprehend criminals and suspects and committed other extrajudicial killings. Authorities generally did not hold police, military, or other security force personnel accountable for the use of excessive or deadly force or for the deaths of persons in custody. State and federal panels of inquiry investigating suspicious deaths generally did not make their findings public.

“In August 2017 the acting president convened a civilian-led presidential investigative panel to review compliance of the armed forces with human rights obligations and rules of engagement, and the panel submitted its findings in February. As of November, no portions of the report had been made public.”

The report, however, added that the government took steps to “Investigate alleged abuses but fewer steps to prosecute officials who committed violations, whether in the security forces or elsewhere in the government. Impunity remained widespread at all levels of government. The government did not adequately investigate or prosecute most of the major outstanding allegations of human rights violations by the security forces or the majority of cases of police or military extortion or other abuse of power.”

Stop killing our family members, we face execution in Nigeria, IPOB alerts Israel, other world govts.

The Biafra Times | February 13, 2019

IPOB Press Statement

The  Indigenous Peoples of Biafra,  IPOB, has made a passionate appeal to Israel and other world governments to prevail on Nigeria Government to stop killing our members as well as other Biafra agitators who visited Nigeria before Christmas and beyond from different countries. Biafrans abroad are humiliated and hunted down in their respective families and communities especially since Nnamdi Kanu IPOB leader snapped pictures with Israeli national coordinator and other members in Israel, their families are under serious attack by DSS and other security operatives.

IPOB alerted the world governments of the danger faced by Biafra agitators families in Nigeria since the appearance of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu in the state of Israel on October 2018.

IPOB leadership said the appeal had become necessary following reports that some of our members seeking refuge in some foreign countries face threat because of their involvement in the struggle for Biafra freedom.

IPOB, the lives of our members here in Biafraland are in danger of summary execution by security operatives in Nigeria.

We certainly discovered that two of our family members who recently arrived from the state of Israel got killed by Nigerian Army and dumped in a boro pit in Aba,  Abia State.

IPOB, therefore, must plead with  Governments of the world especially the Israeli Government and other western countries to give any support necessary to save the lives of IPOB family members who eventually comes to Nigeria.

It is important we remind the whole world that those who are coming back from other parts of the world including Israel are facing serious persecutions here in Nigeria, particularly those who snapped pictures with IPOB leader.
Just last week two young men who came back from Israel were killed and dumped along the road and in bush in Aba Abia state.

IPOB leadership have been informed that even our Coordinator in Israel,  Mr. Ibezim Obiorah Augustine's family is also facing threat from Nigerian DSS and other security operatives.

We appeal to the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu to intervene and save the lives of  Augustine and his family, including other IPOB family members in Israel, Nigeria, Biafra land other countries of the world.

IPOB blast David Umahi and other Igbo governors, over deceitful and perverse statement

IPOB Press Statement|The Biafra Times

January 7, 2019

The leadership and family members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) condemn in its entirety, the frivolous, unsubstantiated and perverse statement from David Umahi of Ebonyi State against a movement like IPOB. It appears anytime a quisling wants to renew his slave status with his northern masters he or she singles out IPOB for verbal assault. We consider the  statement credited to Umahi as symptomatic of the shameful and complicit role  these Igbo governors have continued to play in the death of unarmed Biafrans.

Their stock in trade is treachery and betrayal but unfortunately for them we IPOB will match them every step of the way until their conniving treacherous scheme is brought to an end.

Isn’t it sad that Dave Umahi and his fellow quislings never foresaw Fulani herdsmen invasion of our land but are quick to invite the army to occupy our land and kill us Biafrans as usual. Why have they till date never called for the army to attack a violent Fulani group attacking every community in Biafraland but they are always in the habit of wanting the death of we IPOB. Dave Umahi and his cohorts should pray very hard that no Biafran life is lost during this their latest phase of Operation Python Dance of Shame 3 against innocent  Biafrans.

Fulani slaves parading themselves as Igbo governors have perfected plan to use soldiers deployed to the south east to abduct, arrest and preferably kill top IPOB leaders in Biafraland or anybody suspected to be IPOB member because of IPOB's resolve to boycott next month’s presidential elections.

People must ask Umahi and co including Abuja politicians how many governors and politicians in other regions of Nigeria hosted this invading army with glee the way Dave Umahi and co did a few days ago in Abakaliki? Was it not announced that this latest round of Operation Python Dance was nationwide. How come it’s only Igbo governors that is welcoming them with open arms? This question must be asked by every intelligent person. If nothing is done to checkmate the rabid treachery of Igbo governors, we shall continue to suffer the consequences for the next 70 years.

Boko Haram is ravaging the north where this same brave army has been humiliated countless times but Igbo governors slavishly  invited them into our land to fight IPOB instead. Years of betrayal and the sacrilegious act committed by Igbo governors and Ohaneze against their people through Operation Python Dance is what will kill them not IPOB. Their Fulani masters cannot save them. This crop of Igbo governors will be recorded in history as the worst of the very worst.

Nigerian journalists, more deadly than terrorists – Reason they should be proscribed by the people

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | For Biafra Writers

October 31, 2018

The terrorist groups in Nigeria have taken more innocent lives of citizens than the figures been reported by the Nigerian journalists. When ten (10) is stated in the ratio of one (1) and twenty (20) in the ratio of two (2), you begin to see the masses living in delusion and not knowing the actual danger ahead of them.

Just recently, after Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra made it clear through a radio broadcast that he never jumped bail as he was preparing for the court before the brutal and unannounced military invasion at his home, the Vanguard Newspaper came up with a headline “Why I Jumped Bail – Nnamdi Kanu” to confuse their readers.

In a cultured society, journalists represent the lamplight of the people. In dealing with their adversities, journalists become a guiding light of direction and strength. In Nigeria, no journalist had taken up the responsibility of digging deep into the profile of any corrupt politician. Instead, they go on board concocting all manner of good news in favour of these corrupt leaders in order to please them and on the line, see if the particular politician can grease their hands.

Read Also: Peter Obi: Nigeria’s perfect tool for onslaught against Biafra

True journalism is an investigative art of thorough research into some oblique situations, coming out with a spellbound report and proffering a possible solution to an extent. This will help provide a limelight that the people will need to confront the evil bedeviling them. Instead, the Nigerian journalists are busy attacking the poor and pitiful masses.

These journalists shield the corrupt practices of politicians with their pen. Their pen is more terrorizing than the terrorists in Nigeria. These journalists intentionally abuse English words while embarking on their odyssey of propagating fallacies and defending corrupt practices in an armchair kind of journalism.

“Perceived, allegedly, clashed,” are some of the words they intentionally use in a very wrong context. When a real situation is referred to as perceived (unreal) and allegedly (unsure), you begin to understand the level of misconception they feed the people with. The word “clash” shouldn’t be used to describe a situation where the soldiers are shooting unarmed peaceful protesters. “Clash” can be used when there is a retaliatory approach from the protesters or when they violently engage with the security forces or operatives.

Some of them have turned out to be campaign managers of political parties – they are funded to castigate political opponents. This evil is orthodox with these Nigerian media outlets like; The Nation Newspaper, Sun Newspaper, Vanguard, The Punch, Daily Post, Sahara Reporters, Channels TV, Nigerian Television Authority, Radio Nigeria, Voice of Nigeria, Guardian, Daily Trust, This Day, Nigerian Tribune and so on.

When journalism is politicized, my candid suggestion for the people is to embrace another credible source for their daily supply of accurate new and/or information. Radio Biafra London and its associate media houses is there to help.

Biafra: IPOB proscribes Ohanaeze, South East governors, bans group activities in the East"

September 19, 2018

IPOB Press Statement |Published on The Biafra Times

By virtue of the overwhelming compliance with the 14th of September 2018 Sit-At-Home order issued by IPOB and the mandate conferred therein as the authentic representative of the people of the east, we the Indigenous People of Biafra do hereby declare the proscription of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and all other gatherings of saboteurs and collaborators operating within Biafra. In keeping with the spirit of this declaration, we warn that anybody or group of persons working with Nnia Nwodo led Ohaneze Ndigbo or South East Governors Forum is doing so at their own risk. These two groups (Ohaneze & South East governors) do not represent the people of the east and lack the popular mandate to do so. Events of September 14, is confirmation that our people have rejected their politics of acquiescence, servitude and slavery.

Ohaneze Ndigbo was formed in 1976 to destabilize the progressive established order under the leadership of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe in the run up to 1979 democratic rule. The few surviving founding members of Ohanaeze will attest to this undisputed fact. To weaken the post war cohesion that still existed among the people of the east, Fulani caliphate gathered their Igbo agents together to destroy the east from within. With what Ohaneze has become in recent times, there is little doubt that our oppressors succeeded in holding us down through their agents in Ohaneze and governor's lodges.

Contrary to public perception, Ohaneze Ndigbo is not a creation of Igbo people but rather is an assemblage of high profile traitors during the war, with the exception of Dr. Akanu Ibiam. It was a group engineered by Arewa north to provide the east with false leadership. From inception, Ohaneze Ndigbo has been answerable to Arewa North not to the people of the east. No Ohaneze Ndigbo leader can emerge without the blessing of the northern ruling class.

It was this same Ohaneze Ndigbo that took money from their Northern masters to allow three Igbo speaking local governments from Ebonyi to be carved into Benue State. The same Ohaneze Sat and did nothing as Obigbo, Egbema and the rest of Igbo speaking people were gerrymandered into Rivers State and Delta State to be categorised as South South. They abandoned Igboakiri (Igbanke) to Ogbemudia and his Northern masters, that made an Igbo territory part of Edo State. They betrayed Anioma people by repeatedly refusing to fight for their absorption into the core Igbo family. Today we have families in Egbema divided along state lines. Some people in the same family, with the same surname find themselves in two distinct geo-political zones. Some are South East the other is Niger Delta. This is an unpardonable crime by Ohaneze Ndigbo against the land and the people.

With over 90 per cent compliance to the IPOB sit-at-home order, including Enugu and Ebonyi State as evidenced by photos obtained from the server of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja, it has been confirmed beyond every reasonable doubt that all parts of Biafraland complied with the order. By so doing, Biafrans conferred a historic and unprecedented mandate on IPOB to pilot the affairs of the Eastern Region.

All efforts by South East governors to use financial inducement and media misinformation to fool the people into thinking some parts of Biafra did not comply with the order has been laid bare by secret photos of empty Enugu streets taken by NAN which they conspiratorially failed to publish. The existence of these NAN photos confirms what we have always known, that South East governors decided to wage media war to discredit a successful exercise once it dawned on them that IPOB command the loyalty and mandate of the people.

Nothing under sun shall remain concealed forever. News Agency of Nigeria must be compelled to publish all pictures it took of northern Biafran territories on the morning of September 14, 2018. If compliance was not 100% as they claim, why have they refused to officially publish their own pictures? If they have any shred of credibility left, News Agency of Nigeria should state if any of the pictures published alongside this press release is not part of the many pictures they took of empty Enugu streets on the mid-morning of September 14?

In as much as the the people of the east is concerned, Ohaneze Ndigbo no longer exist, but only on paper. Henceforth any public gathering organised by them will be disrupted. The era of traitors and collaborators presiding over the affairs of the people of the east has come to an end.

Sit-at-home: Biafra Saboteurs fight-back IPOB’s resolve to institutionalize ‘Saboteurs’ Dayʼ

By Neferechi Ochiagha |For Biafra Writers

September 15, 2018

The Friday, September 14 sit-at-home protest has been concluded, presenting to Biafrans another institutionalized day that may run for ages. It was a day in which Biafrans chose to mourn their people killed by Nigerian terrorist armed forces as a result of saboteursʼ activities. In addition, it was a day to reflect on the activities of saboteurs in their midst, who from year to year have frustrated their every attempt at freedom and progress.

The inordinate activities of these saboteurs date as far back during the colonial era, when some fringe and inconsequential elements in the Biafra society offered themselves to be used in British attempt at indirect rule. They did this by playing the role of warrant chiefs, who are the harbingers of many of today’s so-called traditional rulers. Thousands of Biafrans were murdered, and others sold into slavery as a result of their connivance with the British authorities.

Due to the near-success of the abominable activities of those saboteurs then(many of which the Aba women revolt curbed), saboteurs have been emboldened in subsequent years. It was the activities of saboteurs like Ukpabi Asika, Emmanuel Ifeajuna, and several others that led to the successful execution of the Biafra genocide of 1967 – 1970, (dubiously dubbed “civil war” by British/Nigerian governments). Nothing less than 4 million Biafrans died in that genocide.

Read Also: Sit-at-home: Kanuʼs lawyer mourns victims of Operation Python Dance II

There have been other saboteur activities of lesser degrees since 1970 until last year. Specifically, September 14, 2017 was the year the Nigerian army of occupation laid siege on the home of leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu to kill everything in sight, including a dog. But ever since the military invasion, neither him nor his parents have been seen or heard anything from them. In the final analysis, it was John Nnia Nwodo and his atrocious Ohaneze Ndigbo, together with the five Southeast governors that instigated and invited the Nigerian army of occupation to perpetrate the senseless and unprovoked killings of thousands of Biafran youths under the guise of Operation Python Dance.
This particular act of sabotage became a very strong and influential reason, forcing Biafrans to contemplate taking drastic measures against saboteurs in their midst. Institutionalizing the Saboteurs’ Day came as the first step in that regard. It has become a day for identifying saboteurs, and of deciding what can be done about them.

As things stand at the moment, 2018 Saboteurs’ Day had come and gone, and it had a far-reaching impact in the Biafra restoration project and the Nigerian society as a whole. It recorded a great success. The Nigerian government and its elements were thrown off board in a huge panic, and doing everything within their power to subdue the true reportage by the media. The saboteurs themselves have been doing everything within their own powers to douse the effect. In fact, they (saboteurs) started working against the day more than a month ago. The first thing they did was to attempt sabotaging the relay stations transmitting Radio Biafra signals in Biafraland. They, however, succeeded in doing so in some areas, making it difficult for the information to percolate down to every Biafran.

On the whole, the day was a success, the compliance of residents of most states in the South-East and South-South regions was very much encouraging and Nigeria is reeling under the impact. By the time it comes up again next year, the shutdown will be unprecedented in history as Biafra Heroes’ Remembrance Day has come to be.
