2019: OBJ/Buhari Face-off And The Repeat Of Afonja History In Oodua Nation

By Eluwa Chidiebere Chinazu | For Biafra Writers

June 18, 2018

Recently, President Muhammadu Buhari and Nigeria's erstwhile president, Olusegun Obasanjo, have been at loggerheads with each other over the 2019 presidential election in the country. It is evidently a known fact that the opinions of the duo, lately, are at parallel poles of the election despite that the former president was hitherto a strong voice supporting the current president during the 2015 presidential polls that enthroned Buhari and ousted the then President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. This could be further substantiated in Obasanjo's book titled "My Watch" where he voiced out to the people saying that "l prefer to vote for Buhari to jail me than Jonathan to return to destroy this country."

It wasn't obfuscating, not even an act of perfidy or a half-truth but an open secret that Obasanjo's name is now included in the government's "Watch List". The Obasanjo everybody knows, no doubt will go to jail if tried.

As the former president accuses the incumbent president of frame, and as tension keeps rising over the high possibility of OBJ getting jailed, to add to this, Obasanjo's cry, it is potent to analyze this daring and glaring matter so as to ascertain its possible end.

It is true that Buhari remains the best candidate the Fulani oligarchy has ever produced in pursuit of their illicit common goal which is to dominate and subdue the diverse ethnic groups that constitute the regions of the country. This is because he is quite conversant with history. He is the only northerner with the golden realization that they can conquer with the savage and monstrous hands of the Fulani herdsmen just like the same was recorded in history by their progenitors.

Before the inclusion of Obasanjo's name in the "watch list" of Buhari, the former has never been found wanting in most strategic scenes with his PVCs acquisition sermon, calling on the citizens to roll into one to oust President Buhari from office. Now that his name has made the list, will Obasanjo still maintain the relentless energy he has employed in campaigning against the seating president or will he chicken out as typical of a Yoruba person? I stand akimbo watching as the drama unfolds. If OBJ, out of fear of persecution, meets Buhari on time and succumbs to his game plan, he will be free of prosecution. That is certain.

The Oodua nation, throughout history, has never stamped and maintained strong feet against the vile actions of the Arewa nation. They have always acted as a puppet in the hands of the Arewas, using them as willing tools to accomplish their inordinate missions. It was recorded in history that the Arewa women conquered the Oduduwa nation. Still recorded in the annals of Oodua history, Afonja their kinsman, out of fear, invited the rampaging Fulani herdsmen to their land and his people were conquered. Fear is the greatest weakness that has confronted the Oodua nation in many occasions. Buhari understands this very well and evidently applying it on the former president just as he, at the same time, is politically extorting the Oduduwa nation with the Abiola posthumous award saga. The question remains— will this generation of Oduduwa people be so cheap to be deceived with this Trojan Horse of the Arewa nation?

l see treachery on its best in Oduduwa land as Obasanjo is about to be ousted as the godfather of Oodua politics by his brothers. Those singing the "do not touch him," are the very people behind his downfall.

Derogatory Comment By Alhaji Abdulkarim Daiyabu: Ohaneze Ndigbo, SS, And SE Leaders, Brought This Insult On Biafrans - IPOB

May 12, 2018

IPOB Press Statement

The derogatory comment about the forcible relocation of Biafrans away from their ancestral land of Biafra, divisively categorized into Igbos and Niger Delta, credited to one Arewa core northerner Alhaji Abdulkarim Daiyabu a derogatory comment about the forcible relocation of Biafrans away from their ancestral land of Biafra, divisively categorized into Igbos and Niger Delta, credited to one Arewa core northerner Alhaji Abdulkarim Daiyabu a supposed democrat, did not come to us as a surprise because Ohaneze Ndigbo, PANDEF and politicians from the region don't command any respect and are nothing but cowards at the beck and call of the Fulani caliphate. These are the sort of statements you get from people that cannot envisage their survival without oil and gas from Biafraland. It speaks volumes about who they are in the sense that they see the flawed British amalgamation of the Northern and Southern Protectorates in 1914 as an act of divine providence. Where Allah through Britain gave them a passport to free ride on the back of other people. Only an economic invalid or chronically lazy person, together with his constituents, will posses such a primitive mindset and be proud of it.

Had politicians from the South East/South South and their so called socio-cultural leaders been chosen from amongst the people by the people rather than being stealthily appointed by Fulani caliphate, these misguided utterances would not have found its way into a national discussion worthy of our response. We therefore blame the politics of acquiescence and appeasement of the South East and South South political class who should view these frequent derogatory utterances from the Fulani north as a shameful indictment of their one Nigeria mantra.

When our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was around and touring Biafraland to spread the gospel of redemption, no Arewa or Fulani man ventured to make such a comment. But in his absence today, every manner of personality are rising up in the north to insult the people of Biafra (South East/South South). That Ohaneze Ndigbo and South East governors conspired with Fulani caliphate to engineer the military invasion of the South East in September 2017 to eliminate Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the one person the Fulani caliphate feared most, left our land open to ridicule by semi-illiterates who are not particularly blessed with the ability to reason things through before uttering them.

We view the rant of this very Alhaji among other Alhajis from the north, as the continuation of the oil in the Niger Delta belongs to Jigawa narrative. This preposterous assertion, as bizarre as it sounds may have found some traction among the elites in the north hence this provocative comment. There is a misguided school of thought in the north that thinks Nigerian military might defeated Biafra during the war. They are of the opinion that this Fulani Islamic army could be deployed once again to ethnically cleanse Biafraland to allow Fulani unrestricted access to our resources. Nothing could be further from the truth.

What Nigerians must know is that without the intervention of Britain there was no way Nigeria could have defeated Biafra, not in a million years. It would be a mistake this time for the Fulani caliphate to take the support of their historic ally Britain for granted because a Trump White House is markedly different from that of Richard Nixon. It was Britain that used it's global status to fight and defeat Biafra both diplomatically and militarily, not Nigeria. Core northerners should stop deceiving themselves because in a time of crisis as we are entering now, their stooges in Ohaneze Ndigbo and government houses will not be calling the shots, the people through IPOB will.

Biafra: Where Are Those Voices Echoing The Deceit Called "Restructuring?"

By Chukwuemeka Alex Okeke || For Biafra Writers

October 26, 2017

Days have gone, weeks gone and months swiftly passing away without a single voice further echoing that beautiful "Package" called 'Restructuring' any more. What has happened? Who has spoken again? Where are the agents and proponents of restructuring as an alternative to the Hausa-Fulani-styled and carefully skewed 'One Nigeria'? The voices are now cold, has grown feeble, the fake and watery venoms calmed, the grammarian students has gone berserk, the professors asleep to awake God-knows-when, the El-rufai restructuring package committee are no longer on the news! What has happened to all of them? Have they suddenly gone missing?

Where are the Bendel-warriors declaring Bendel State? Where are the Conveners of the Odua Republic? Where are the Northern illiterate theorists and their Northern Youth groups? Where are the Chameleonic campaigners for political alternative (APC)? Where are those drawing the boundary between Biafra and Biafra(South-South political errand boys)? Where are the Military spokespersons, hopping from one lie to the other and from one denial to another?

Where are the Eastern political jobbers and the errand boys in the mould of 'OHANAEZE-NDI-IGBO', where are the members of the Southeast governors forum? What has become of their "ghostly Amnesty packages?" Are the pack of dust-bins called the Southeast governors so quickly through with their Amnesty package? Has the Igbo socio-political group, Ohanaeze, given up so quickly on their crusade for Restructuring? Why all these sudden evaporation of the voice of strength from these campaigners of one Nigeria?

Read Also: BIAFRA: IPOB WOULD NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT ACTION CONCERNED CITIZENS MAY TAKE VERY SOON IF KANU IS NOT PRODUCED

Too many questions still contesting for space on my mind cannot be exhausted in this piece alone! What is happening? Did anyone of the aforementioned campaigners for political alternative forgotten the spelling of the deceitful package? Wait here is the spelling R-E-S-T-R-U-C-T-U-R-I-N-G or beckon on a Biafran kid schooling outside of Nigeria via the kid's guidance or parents as the case may be and inquire from the child, the spelling of the word you most frequently muttered each time you visited Aso-Rock or whenever your names appeared on the pages of the Nigerian media outlets.

Summon all the Igbo slave professors and economic refugees hiding behind the popularity of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the great and IPOB to spew their illiterate gibberish called alternative 'Modus Operandi' as against the approach been divinely inspired through Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (THE GREAT). Also call the Lagos economic refugee and old slave-boy with the nomenclature Joe Igbokwe to take the podium now! Call all the Northern-money-has-bought Igbo leaders to come forward and take the podium for alternative 'modus-operandi' in the restoration project for Biafra!

Summon all the Igbo slaves, anti-Biafra and Nigeria-bought internet warriors to come up now! I also have not seen nor heard from BIM's leader, Raphael Uwazuruike, the sworn-in errand boy. Where are all the Abuja-based political contractors for the One-Nigeria and Biafra critics? Come up now or remain silent forever.

Wherever a proponent of 'One Nigeria' sees a Biafran, I require that the former must stoop low or prostrate and say to the citizen of IPOB "Good morning Sir, live long!" If you are an IPOB, beat your chest and say "I'M A HERO!" Because what we do, no man dares!

By the time Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released by Nigeria to commence the second phase of his campaign, which I believe must be the final round, thunder of hypocrisy must destroy any of the groups I mentioned earlier and their cronies who have not done anything in the alternative up until now, If they ever criticize the living Hero, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu when we shower him with accolades and love.

Therefore when you hear the name, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, prostrate and pay obeisance to him or die in envy, jealousy, strife and shame.

Biafra: Southeast Leaders And Their Penchant For Slavery

By Stanley Osinachi || For Biafra Writers

October 9, 2017

People had argued why the leaders and elders of the Southeast region are being avoided and/or sidelined by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in their pursuit for a sovereign Biafra nation. Some who have foresight made various suggestions in support of the stand while others criticized against such stand. It was criticized because the struggle was not rested on the shoulders of the political juggernauts in the region. They believed that the success of the struggle lies in the hands of politicians in the region as they are the only means through which the issue can be laid at the floor of the Senate for debate and resolution.

But unknown to the arguers, these so-called leaders are not what they claim to be. The IPOB know the caliber of people that parade themselves as the leaders of Southeast. They are the most slavish and self-centered set of leaders. Their conspiracy with the northern elders who have been seeking for all means to stop the agitation for Biafra; to incite violence and cause confusion in the camp of IPOB, so as to term them terrorists and disperse them; coupled with the endorsement of the Operation Python Dance II in the Southeast, is so alarming.

They have clearly proven to all that they are only after their own interests and that of the cabals. The proscription of IPOB is a plan by Southeast governors to please the northern cabals and on the other hand, bring an abrupt end to the peaceful movement of the people in expressing their disapproval of the grave inhumane treatment, abuse and marginalization they have suffered from the hands of the Nigerian government since after the brutal Nigeria-Biafra war.

Read Also: Biafra: Boycotting Anambra election will pave way for our referendum with or without the approval of the Nigerian Govt— IPOB tells Anambra residents

They have sacrificed the interest of the populace, their own people on the altar of gaining political relevance and other mundane material wealth and unmerited upliftment. What a shame! Leaders who cannot protect or fight for the collective cause of the people they lead, are not worth to be addressed as leaders. No! They are best known and described as “massa”. A massa, during the era of slave trade, is a slave who oversees other slaves for his slave master. He goes on to subject other slaves to severe punishments so as to please his slave master and get more rewards from him.

It is on record that the UN issued orders to arrest the Arewa youths who threatened genocidal quit notice on Igbos at the expiration of October 1st, but the northern leaders and elders rebuffed the order and dared the Federal government to arrest them and till date they have not been arrested. Despite how grievous the notice is in both local and international laws, the northern youths were shielded by their leaders to the chagrin of all.

To prove how desperate our so-called Eastern governors are in dancing to the tune of the northern cabals so as to retain their political offices, they had to unconstitutionally proscribe the activities of IPOB even before the court passed the unconstitutional order and gazetting of the proscription. How would a sane leader who claims to have the interest of his people at heart not seek for a peaceful resolution to a genuine agitation with the aggrieved populace but instead conspires to dehumanize and kill them? This is simply the highest order of human slavery. To buttress and water down the obnoxious carnage against the people, they made decision to obtain law prohibiting hate speech in the state.

Read Also: BIAFRA: KANU'S HOME ATTACK; A PREAMBLE OF ALREADY PLANNED ETHNIC CLEANSING

It is so glaring now to all, especially the critics of IPOB that these so-called Southeast leaders are stooges of the Northern Hausa/Fulani oligarchy. They assented with the north to decimate Biafrans and in order to have parallel access to offices. This is why they would rather run to north to seek for their masters’ advice than sit together with the people they lead to resolve issues. No discerning mind knows them. They do not have the interest of the populace at heart and cannot lay claim to any gathering of people in any part of South they govern and in any part of the world where their stolen wealth was not used to pay for their gathering. They are the worst and foolish leaders ever for accepting to be used as slave tools in killing their own people. Good leaders are known by their works and love for their people. They are known by their respect and loyalty to the people but the reverse is the case for our so-called Southeast governors. Their love for wealth is glaringly overwhelming. No wonder they willingly betray and sabotage every struggle aimed at benefitting the people and making irrational laws and policies targeted at shutting down the minds and memories of their people from expressing the I'll-treatments meted out to them.

Unlike Nnamdi Kanu who speaks the minds of the people and walks to the streets freely without security but draws mammoth crowd anywhere he goes, they cannot as well walk freely on the streets without flooding everywhere with armed security men. If they claim they are for the people and loved by the people, then let them walk the streets of Biafraland without security for a minute to prove this assertion. As election approaches, you will see these hypocrites sharing money in the streets while there are thousands of civil servants and pensioners dying of neglect and starvation as a result of non-payment of salaries and pension arrears. Without rigging and begging, and of course threats, they cannot record any success in any election.

In democracy, the will of the people serves as the basis for collective decisions. It is called self-governance. Each member of the population expresses his or her opinion on each issue through voting. If the Southeast governors are civilized enough and are practicing democracy, let them allow the decision/opinions of the majority of the masses whose mandate they rode to power, hold in resolving the Biafra agitation. All what the people want is a referendum date. The people have spoken and the voice of the people is the voice of God. It is however, most profitable that the governors respect the resolution of the majority of the masses instead of suppressing them and put in motion the necessary machineries in place and allow justice to prevail in the quest to restore Biafra just like it was recently done in Spain, Iraq and other countries. Injustice against one is an injustice against all. In Biafra remains our right not a privilege. And in Biafra we the masses stand.

BIAFRA: Violence, Bloodshed And Destruction Are The Trademark Of The Northern Cabal

Image result for northern governors

By Victoria O. C. Agangan | For Biafra Writers

September 25, 2017

Today, we see a lot of ignorant folks displaying their lack of knowledge by their utterances against Biafra and her agitators, therefore, I want to illuminate their darkened minds as well as expose the evil agenda which has been carefully drafted and systematically followed through the years, and had been gradually inculcated into the Nigerian system.

Uthman Dan Fodio laid down the prescription. He made some deadly pronouncements that will never be erased in the minds of the players (Hausa/Fulanis) and this has been followed strictly in various ways by the northern cabals.

Today, their minority dangle before them as slaves hung on a tree begging for survival as they become tools of mischief and servants of disdain in this unfortunate era.

These people seek only to conquer, take charge and rule whoever or whatever that catches their interests and like tapeworms, they stick to their lifelines without minding whether their victims die from the scourge of their attack.

READ ALSO: BIAFRA: TIME TO RE-STRATEGIZE

The gameplay cannot be overemphasized because their characteristics remain predictable and fixed. Their love for violence and bloodshed embedded in an abstract sense of religion makes them stand out as clowns dancing in marketplaces.

This is 2017, but we see an edited version of 1966-70 coming to play, as Buhari came to power with a secret northern agenda. He deceived his sponsors cleverly, as Westerners connived to pull down former president Jonathan, and to their chagrin, just like his ancestors took over his Hausa host throne, he got the Nigerian throne and the whole north rejoiced.

They had threatened that "blood will flow" if power was not returned to the north and that he(Buhari) would make the former administration ungovernable. To achieve this purpose, they established the now proscribed terrorist group, the Boko Haram sect which became a nightmare during Jonathan's regime but has lessened aggression since this present administration.

Buhari had criticized the arrest and killings of Boko Haram terrorists even when they had killed many innocent lives. He had declared it a fight against the north. Little wonder he freed those arrested, paid them off, granted them amnesty after engaging them in dialogues with monetary offers.

Today, we begin to see his agenda becoming overt before the world. From day one of his inauguration, he declared, "I am for no one but for everyone". Constructively and ironically, he came for no other tribe but for his kinsmen, kith, and kins in the northern region and his schemes.

Then, we hear of favouring 97% as against 5%, what a well thought out strategy. Is he not supposed to be everyone's president regardless of being voted for or not? The end result are not surprising though.

He set aside the Western sponsors and diminished their whims into nothingness. The tyrant warlord made the eastern greedy politicians his lap dogs then proceeded with the plans.

Even the unsuspecting militants were cooed into silence, inactiveness and cuddled to rest by fake pleas and promises.

Having done with sealing up Islamic ties with Arabic countries from numerous travels with monies kept in the national treasury by the past government, he hung Nigeria deep into recession, then began to accuse his predecessor of corruption in order to cover-up his utter failure and inability to put things right.

READ ALSO: Biafra: Declaration of IPOB As Terrorists; Using The Fire Brigade Approach Won't Solve The Problem

They successfully replaced higher positions in the economy with Northern vessels as the Southern, Western and Eastern leaders of various departments are sacked.

Then came the eruption of Fulani herdsmen, with their unprovoked menaces as they maraud everywhere with unauthorized machine guns yet left unfettered and unchallenged by the government. Dear Mr. President covered up for them, claiming the attackers were from Libya. What a hypocrisy?

Then came the controversial grazing reserve bill proposal for Fulani cattle herders. "If you wanted peace, give them portions for their cattle," as if they were the only ones with abilities to rear animals.

These gameplay has been on for awhile. When the plan failed, they unleashed terror and left many maimed and dead and it is on record that not even one of them has been arrested, tried in any court of law nor killed. But must anyone wonder why?

When all the promises promised by APC truncated on the table of lawlessness and deceit, and the president ruled from "ABUJA HOUSE" in the foreign land of Britain which birthed Nigeria. Very laughable, he took vacations at will, returned at will and the governors visited him for instructions and to submit reports. Nigeria is a comical stage indeed!

He only returns to promote acts of brutality and violence each time that one begins to wonder whether he was sick at all.

Now, he feels threatened by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's resolve to help his people out of Egypt (Nigeria). The magnitude of support he garnered, gnaws at his ego and he can no longer contain his anger and hatred bottled up against a race that refused to die nor succumb to slavery or oppression.

A people of strong determination and self-will who stops at nothing to survive. He cannot imagine that of all the past efforts and present ones made by the various leaders this nation can resurrect, so, in a nationwide broadcast upon his arrival, he declared WAR.

To unsuspecting players, he reformed once again, the petroleum sector and finally wills all of Nigeria's major resource to the north. They lead in vertically all key positions in Nigeria, but his major project now is to avenge Biafrans and take over their lands. He conceived that he will fulfill Uthman's wish by ordering for the extinction of Biafrans, hence this military invasion, but Chukwu Okike(God Almighty) is our fortress and refuge.

He will neither leave nor forsake us. He will fight on our behalf but like Naboth, we must hold onto our birthright. We have no other heritage nor identity. Arewa is controlling the north, they have powers to issue orders(example quit notice), and cannot be arrested but Biafrans are slaughtered even in their lands, in thousands, for making peaceful and legal demands.

This is just the beginning of Nigeria's collapse. It is not when the rain falls that it enters the ground. "Agbacha oso, aguwa mile!" (When the race ends, we count the miles).

Biafra: Politicians not sponsoring IPOB — Okorie blasts Nigerian Govt

Image result for chekwas okorie

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue | For Biafra Writers

September 18, 2017

The national chairman of the United Progressive Party, UPP, has described as “reckless”, the statement credited to the Federal government of Nigeria that some politicians were financing the activities of the Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

The Minister of information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed had on Sunday, accused politically disgruntled treasury looters who are out to sabotage the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government of sponsoring IPOB.

Mohammed said those disgruntled looters were using IPOB to sabotage the current government under the guise of fighting for the rights of people of the South-East.

Reacting, however, the ex-presidential candidate said it was reckless on the side of the government to make such an unhealthy utterance against political players in Nigeria.

Similarly, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state has debunked the allegation by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the State that he was sponsoring IPOB.

The Publicity Secretary of the party(APC) in the State, Taiwo Olatunbosun, also added that the Nigerian army was performing its constitutional role of preserving the unity of Nigeria and bringing all "secessionists" and their backers to justice.

However, in his reaction, Fayose described the allegation as baseless, saying that his support of the movement does not translate into funding of IPOB.

Biafra: Arewa Youths begins rampage on Igbos in the North, sets properties ablaze

September 18, 2017

Palpable fear and anxiety gripped residents of Sokoto State as some Arewa youths on rampage, attacked Igbo traders in the state on Sunday.

According to reliable reports from our sources, the incident, which visibly shook Igbo merchants on Bello Way and Emir Yahaya areas of Sokoto metropolis, forced other Igbo traders at nearby Sahara street to close down their shops and run for safety.

Biafra Writers, learnt that heavily armed Arewa youths, in their hundreds, set ablaze a building along Bello Way, where Igbo traders have shops.

One of the victims, identified as Chief Okafor, said, “My house was razed by some suspected arsonists.

“I got a call from my wife that some Arewa youths had invaded my house and set it ablaze. My family narrowly escaped the attacks.”

Another victim, William Emmanuel Usoh, told journalists that his Honda Civic car was vandalized by some rampaging youths along Emir Yahaya Road.

Usoh further explained that, but for the timely intervention of men of the Nigeria Civil Defence and Security Corps, the youths would have destroyed more valued properties in the area.

When contacted, the President-General of Igbo Community in Sokoto State, Charles Uwaga, confirmed the incident.

He said reports reaching him indicated that some of his members were attacked within the state capital.

“A member just called me that his house was razed. There were also cases of vandalised shops,” Uwaga said.

It was noted that these acts might not be unconnected by the desire of some Arewa youths to avenge the Biafra agitators in the Eastern region following threats to evict Igbos from their region come October 1.

BIAFRA: PYTHON DANCE, A STEERED OPERATION TO ELIMINATE BIAFRANS

By Chikwas Onu Ikpe | For Biafra Writers

September 13, 2017

Let me begin this piece with an interposition:

In the evening hours of September 10, 2017, about 1800hrs; there was a heavy military incursion (courtesy of the Nigerian Army) with heavily-clad vehicles, flaunting the environs of Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia which happens to be the home of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. The barricade owing to the ostensible "Show of Force" ensued a centered attack upon unarmed Biafrans, mowing down at least three persons.

OPERATION PYTHON DANCE DECLARATION (as quoted):

The Nigerian Army is to launch "Python Dance II" - "Operation Ogbu Eke II", in the South East between September 15 and October 14, to check violent criminals, agitators and other forms of criminalities.
"Building on this achievements, exercise Ogbu Eke II has become more expedient due to spate of assassinations, even in religious places, attacks on security personnel and theft of weapons, kidnapping, armed banditry, VIOLENT AGITATIONS BY SECESSIONIST GROUPS, among other crimes that have recently bedeviled the region."

"During the operation, emphasis will be placed on raids, cordon, and search, anti-kidnapping drills, road blocks, check points, patrols, humanitarian relief activities such as medical outreach and show of force to curb the rising threats to national security in the south eastern part of the country."

To all intents and purposes, I dare say the unwarranted military occupation cum Python dance is affiliated to laying on the line - the life of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and to assassinating him. In addition, the steered Python dance is in the vicinity of harassing, intimidating, subjugating, overwhelming and annihilating unarmed and peaceful Biafra agitators by the Nigerian government to orchestrate a repulsion, so as to find the flimsiest of excuses to cause pandemonium and mastermind a mass onslaught of innocent Biafrans, and furthermore legitimizing their false alarm of "terrorism" tagged upon IPOB.

Recall that the said Python dance was scheduled to be launched from September 15 to October 14, 2017. But prior to this date, Biafraland is barricaded with weighted armoured tanks and arsenal, at the same time they have commenced unleashing their concrete aim which is to intimidate and decimate Biafrans (note the emphasis in the quoted declaration).

The ongoing cataclysm in Biafraland, especially in the homestead of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not unconnected to the handiwork of Arewa group of terrorists. On July 10, 2017, the leader of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, Shettima Yerima said: "...We will take the fight to Nnamdi Kanu's domain."

The degree of deployment of the armed security forces and the combative movement of heavy military armoury in Biafraland, in such a peaceful time, depicts the notion of a state of emergency or a battle-feud. But one may ask, are we in a combat zone? How do the outcries of self-determinism amount to war?

While the “Pythons are dancing’’ in the peaceful regions of Biafraland, the marauding Fulani militia, masquerading as herdsmen are without restrictions slaughtering innocent lives. Just about a couple of days ago, the Fulani herdsmen raided Ancha village, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State; nineteen persons were killed, five others injured.

How about the incessant attacks and bombings by the Boko Haram insurgents in the North-Eastern Nigeria? Why are there no conveyance of military cordons to such places? Yes, let the army take this Python dance to Sambisa forest! The military efforts should be redirected towards combating the resurgence of terrorism in the unruly North-Eastern Nigeria by armed Islamists of Boko Haram. It is documented that Nigerian military has never fought war against external aggression; it was blatant how Nigerian territory was annexed by Cameroon without Nigerian military clapping a fly.

The besieging of military artillery in Biafraland is not only provocative but undemocratic and violative of the principles of liberty; it infringes the enjoyment of the constitutionally enshrined human right provisions. Hence, we call upon the International Human Rights Organization (IHRO), the international community - United Nations (UN), African Union (AU), Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and conscientious personnel(s) to be put on guard - the beleaguering situation of Biafraland, and the targeted decimation of Biafrans by the Nigerian army, spearheaded by Buhari-led government. In the face of unceasing intimidation and subjugation, we are determined to hem in all intended, violent repulsion, and continue to ply the laid down principles by United Nations (UN), in relation to Self-determinism; amidst their ill-timed and extreme assault and battery.

In contempt of the outrageous bloodshed and servitude, be it as it may, I enjoin all Biafrans to remain peaceful in times like this. The Nigerian government, having envisaged the efficacy of our non-belligerent preference to our freedom have intended to spook and coerce us to repulse, to pick up arms, hence justifying their false alarm that IPOB is a 'terrorist organization'. Let us keep it on, undeterred, in the non-violent volition of our pursuit. When the nine months is good and proper the pregnant woman shall be delivered of a baby. The extrication of the Godly people of Biafra from the dungeon of slavery and "penal servitude" is dependent on God Almighty (Chi-ukwu) to whom we look upon because our help comes from no other than Him alone.

ONE DAY, ONE DAY WE SHALL BE FREE!

Biafra: El-Rufai's Prayer For Oil In Biafraland To Dry Up Will Begin From The Destruction Of Farmlands In The North

By Eluwa Chidiebere | For Biafra Writers

On the 9th of August, 2017, the truth was mistakenly laid to bare by one of the perpetrators of evil in Nigeria by name Nasir El-Rufai, the incumbent governor of Kaduna state.

It happened on Saturday in Ibadan at the 2017 Town Hall Meeting/Founders' Day Celebration in memory of an economist Professor Ojetunji Aboyade. El-Rufai who was the special guest of honour at the event, prayed to Allah, with his mouth abashed, for the natural oil resources in Biafra land to dry up.

In his words: ‘‘Because Nigeria gets easy money from oil, the nation has lost its thinking initiative on how to develop other sources of revenue and diversify the economy. I pray that the oil wells and the free money accruing from there, dry up so that the government and the people can get serious about making the country realize its full potential.’’

But are there no other ways of solving Nigeria's problems except praying for a people’s treasure such as the oil to dry up? This is ridiculous indeed.

It beats my imagination that the North has this frame of mind of making Nigeria better at the detriment of the Biafrans. Why must the Biafrans be on the losing end each time the so-called Nigerian think-tank comes up with their devilish advice and ideas to cure their ills? Why doesn’t El-Rufai pray for famine and destruction to besiege the so-called farmlands in the North? If this oil was discovered in the north, El-Rufai would not have in any way or in any circumstance, pray or wish for such a treasure in their land to dry up. It is now obvious that the shadow of envy for the Biafran people has beclouded the hearts and minds of northerners and has also eclipsed their sense of reasoning.

Biafrans are not bewildered at El-Rufai’s prayer neither will they question the source of such obvious hatred against them. History will always be there to exonerate the words of the good minds like Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whenever the need arises because the world revolves.

Events in the past will make us know that this unremitting hatred and envy from the north over Biafrans is inherent in their race and not something that can stop before one could say, Jack Robinson. For example, on 21st of December, 1967, when Biafrans were being massacred, the world gave order for that to stop, but the northerners (Nigerian government) ignored the order from the world and continued on the evil and wanton extermination of Biafrans.

Dr. Conor Cruise O’Bien a reporter on New York Review, reported: ‘‘myself and the same UNICEF representatives went on to convey something of what lay behind this intransigence. Among the large majority hailing from that tribe (the north) who are the most vocals in citing the complete extermination of the Igbos. I often heard remarks that all Nigeria’s ills will be cured once the Igbos have been exterminated from the human map.’’ The question now is, will all Nigeria’s ills be cured once the Biafran oil dries up? Is that the right prayer or wish to make to an evil god?

Apart from that, it should be noted that the recent calls for restructuring today in Nigeria was made possible at the detriment of the blood of Biafra agitators killed. If not for Indigenous People of Biafra through their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that gave voice to the timid elites and citizens of Nigeria out of their resoluteness and the spilling of their blood, there wouldn’t have been calls for restructuring today. No doubt, Biafrans have become the sacrificial lamb In Nigeria that is also why the Nigerian soldiers kill them at will.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Biafran people has been accused of hate speeches. One of the hate speeches which all felt is the truth that the Biafrans are the breathe the Nigerian government breaths due to the over dependence of Nigerian on their oil resources as a source of resuscitating their epileptic economy.
For that reason, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, incarcerated and given all manner of inhumane and degrading treatments for standing in for the truth which El-Rufai has recently professed on 9th of August, 2017.

In conclusion, El-Rufai’s wish is in his people’s hand to grant. Since he desires for the Biafran oil to dry up, let them simply allow Biafrans to go with their oil peacefully. Let him stop making a wrong prayer to a false god which will yield no positive result. Failure to heed to this wise warning will be disastrous because that oil that has kept them glittering over the years will also see to their end. Biafrans are not begging anyone to subject their agitation to a referendum or declaring their freedom. This is because a yam that will burn will burn whether boiled or roasted.

BIAFRA: WHO CALLS THE SHOT, BUHARI OR AREWA?

By Victoria. O. C. Agangan | For Biafra Writers

September 9, 2017

He reluctantly returned to Nigeria when protesters with support from Britons stormed his "Abuja House" residence in London. He therefore vented his anger in a hate-filled broadcast which lasted less than ten minutes, full of venoms and threats. He never thought it nice to appreciate the tax payers whose money has continued to fund his overseas trip nor showed concern and transparency by explaining his travails during the notorious jamboree tour. It was definitely an angry, sick and irritated president that addressed his “conquered” subjects. I remember the days of Pharaoh of Egypt who said to the Israelites, “Who is that God that will deliver you from my hands?” Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon also made similar utterances, alas they all paid dearly.

“Today's case is turning a mirror repeat and the jokers are set for the pickings which the queen royal set to check mate the proms. What a clash in diversities?”

Applauding Arewa youths gave Buhari the guts to seek the re-arrest of our God-sent Nnamdi Kanu, and like a puppet, they are all set to illegally satisfy the urges of his kinsmen. Here I want to know, who calls the shot in Lugard's Nigeria? Arewa, has boldly stated that they will not be arrested and truly no one, not even Buhari dared mention it in his directives. I ask again, who are those calling the shots in Nigeria? Military personnel are deployed to Biafra for the purpose of arresting Kanu and squashing resistance by murdering Biafrans once more in this 21st century. 1967 – 1970 and here again in 2017, it’s about to happen. Seven depicts perfection, God rested on the seventh day after six days of labour and I’m certain that Biafra's plight will be gloriously settled this time around.

In God's time, he makes all things beautiful and we see more reasons from unprecedented occurrences to be grateful as Chukwu Okike is set to unseat the Phillipian (Buhari) idol sitting in his temple. Nothing will stop the coming of Biafra because she is God's will and bride. And like a proud groom, He will display her in bright colors for all to see just like David did with the ark and danced vigorously. The jealousy of the other tribes against Biafra is deep-rooted and there can never be appeasement to pass for it. Secondly, the greed of the north is very immense and they will do anything or even exterminate a race just to keep hold on the Biafran resources. This is why Buhari once said it annoys him when some people say they own the oils he fought for, simply because the oils reside in their region.

To crown it all, Biafra is blessed with many natural resources, technological capabilities, industrial and commercial prowess. They are indomitable as a people, and cannot be equaled by others who do not share any relationship with them but who were simply forced into a deceptive unity with the Biafran people. A forced fraudulent unity with these unfortunately less-gifted savages which was effected by Britain. But as has been prophesied and decreed, her time to exit this unacceptable union has come.

Conclusively, there's no amount of wizardry, intimidation, persecution, incarceration, that can stop it. God will always make all things beautiful to the chagrin of the savagery Nigerian government occupied by those who are lesser beings to the supreme creator Chukwu Okike Abiama.

BIAFRA: THOSE CALLING FOR KANU’S RE-ARREST ARE SUPPORTERS OF DICTATORSHIP AND SECTIONALISM

By Chijindu Benjamin Ukah || For Biafra Writers

September 2, 2017

Following the news making round the social media and offline press, it is unfortunate that the Muhammadu Buhari-led government and some unscrupulous elements are calling for the re-arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra TV; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The Nigerian government has refused to learn from their past grave mistakes. Since Kanu’s arrest in October 2015, the Nigerian state has continued to shut down to the level of becoming almost insignificant before the international community, because of the regime's widespread human rights abuses and the inability of the government to handle Kanu’s matter democratically.

We have not forgotten easily that courts of competent jurisdiction twice ordered the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, but the Nigerian dictator Muhammadu Buhari bluntly disobeyed the two court orders to release him. In saner climes, this singular act of utter disregard and desecration of the seat of justice, is enough reason to impeach and arrest Buhari but nothing was done about it. Therefore, Buhari should be arrested for violating court orders, not Kanu.

Read Also: BIAFRA: IPOB REJECTS FG's CALL FOR KANU'S RE-ARREST, SAYS IT'S AN ASSASSINATION........

It is also on record that Lawal Daura, the Director-General of DSS, flouted court orders to release and compensate another Biafran; Bright Ishinwa Chimezie for illegally detaining him for many months. Till date, Bright Chimezie is still in the custody of the DSS against the court order. Lawal Daura should be arrested not Kanu. If the men in authority can flout court orders and cannot be arrested, then Nigeria is in one almighty mess.

The law is not a respecter(sic) of persons. It should be for everybody in the country, beginning from those in the helm of affairs to the least individual. But in Nigeria, the government authorities choose the laws to adhere to and discard the ones not favourable to them.

It beats my imagination that the only song we hear everywhere is “re-arrest Kanu”, When Arewa elders like Tanko Yakasaai, Yerima Shettima, Junaid Mohammed and their Arewa youths are walking free, gallivanting in Abuja even when the United Nation has demanded for their arrest and punishment for their treasonous and genocidal quit notice issued against the Igbo-speaking Biafrans in the north.

Nobody is calling for the arrest of those behind the anti-Igbo genocidal song, calling for the killing of Igbos in northern Nigeria, but they are fast to call for the re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, an innocent man who is only exercising his fundamental human rights.

I must state categorically clear that calling for Kanu’s re-arrest is simply a call for war, only a dictator, supporters of dictatorship, sectionalists and war mongers will call for the re-arrest of a man who is democratically exercising his human rights, let alone when the person in question is the leader of an emerging country; Biafra. Those calling for Kanu to be re-arrested should be arrested because they are inciting war. The Buhari-led government must understand that re-arresting Nnamdi Kanu is a crime against humanity and must be resisted by the Indigenous People of Biafra and people of good conscience around the world.

Biafra: Don’t Even Talk About Re-Arresting Nnamdi kanu Conduct PLEBISCITE To Enable Biafrans go -Chief Mbazulike Amaechi Warns Buhari

August 29th 2017

First Republic Minister of Aviation has charged the Federal Government to conduct a plebiscite to enable the Igbos decided if they want to be part of Nigeria or not.
He said it does not make any sense under the existing circumstances to threaten re-arresting the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
Igbos, he said, are obviously tired of being part of the Nigerian federation and want to leave.
The former aviation boss was responding to question on the call for a restructuring of Nigeria and the threat by the Federal Government to crack down on Nnamdi kanu and IPOB.

He said: ”If I wake up and say, I would go and blow up Aso Rock, would I be arrested, or when I march to Aso Rock fully armed? Why the focus on Nnamdi Kanu, what of the other Arewa yoths who are committing similar or more grievous offences? What has been done to them? If Kanu breaks the law, let him be punished, not when he is unarmed and just making statement that his people are not being treated fairly. What Kanu is saying is that Igbo want to go, if you don’t agree with him, put it to plebiscite. That is how it has been done in other places. Scotland said it wanted to leave United Kingdom, and they put it to plebiscite, majority said they didn’t want to go away.

I don’t see why it should be different in Nigeria. Plebiscite does not amount to war.
In America, since Donald Trump came to power, two states have expressed the desire to quit US, has anybody killed them? The only thing is that when the demand becomes serious, the government will give the opportunity for the people to decide.

What has been done to the Arewa youth who said their leaders were the ones who asked them to issue the quit notice? Yes, we know who is sending them to do what they are doing, the politicians are behind them and we are not deceived. What of those behind the anti-Igbo songs, what has the government done to them? What efforts have the security agencies made to bring them to book?, he queried.

IPOB BERATES CLUELESS CHIEF PAUL UNONGO; NORTHERN ELDERS FORUM DECORATIVE HAPPY-SLAVE LEADER

We Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) worldwide under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu condemn in its entirety the statement credited to the clueless and uninformed Northern Elders Forum and their decorative happy-slave leader Chief Paul Unongo for daring to attack Ohaneze Ndigbo Chairman Chief John Nnia Nwodo for rising up in defence of the truth.

This truth is that IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has not committed any crime known to the laws of Nigeria to warrant his rearrest. If Nigeria ever had a case against our leader, why have the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) not commenced the trial since October 2015 when our leader was first arrested? Instead, the Arewa North thought they could intimidate this present Ohaneze Ndigbo as they did to previous executives, into allowing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to be arrested. They miscalculated miserably because all ethnic nationalities in Nigeria today including some of the most ardent critics of our leader have conceded privately that IPOB has given enslaved ethnic nationalities in Nigeria the impetus to rise up and question their slave status. The Fulani/Arewa born to rule mentality has been broken by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. People are no longer intimidated by the disproportionate number of Arewa sons in the military and other armed forces who are in essence the foot soldiers of the Caliphate and not Nigeria.

The idea of wanting to use baseless trumped up charges to justify the extra judicial detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will be resisted by all men and women of good conscience. After all, it was Buhari himself that disobeyed court order after court order directing the unconditional release of our leader in 2015. If anyone deserves to be arrested, it is Buhari.

Paul Unongo and his caliphate handlers should also call for the arrest of the Director General of DSS and AGF for flagrant and serial disobedience to court orders. Whilst they are at it, they should not fail to add their beloved Arewa Youths, who actually committed the treasonable act of incitement to genocide, which is a far more serious crime than attempted coup d'etat. What Arewa Consultative Forum through their Arewa Youths did was nothing short of a call to mass murder and appropriation of properties that does not belong to them. Arewa Elders that incited the youths, provided them finance and logistics must also be arrested.

It's a pity that Chief Paul Unongo who appear not to know his roots have consistently failed to raise his voice against Fulani herdsmen slaughtering and raping their way through swathes of Benue land where he comes from. That he found the courage to challenge the stance of Ohaneze Ndigbo publicly confirms what we have always known, that he's suffering from what psychologists call the Stockholm syndrome. A man who could not rise in defence of his own people being slaughtered by the same Fulani cattle interest, shamelessly had the temerity to call for the arrest of the only person who had the guts to say no to Fulani herdsmen. Paul Unongo should in actual fact be grateful to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for seeking to protect his people from Fulani annihilation and conquest.

We commend this act of Ohaneze Ndigbo for standing firm to demonstrate that they are different from past Ohaneze administrations. By refusing to be browbeaten by the mob mentality often deployed by the hegemonic Arewa North in times of crisis, they deserve our collective commendation. Fulani caliphate are not the owners of the constituent parts that make up the British contraption Nigeria and we IPOB are here to prove it to them.

The Fulani cabal that run the Nigerian Government are busy deploying instruments of governance to terrorise the masses into accepting the re-arrest of our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who committed no crime known to law. We promise Chief Paul Unongo and his collaborators in the Arewa North that Nigeria will never be the same after this encounter. Arewa North should concentrate on alleviating the long suffering poor masses of the core North and leave Biafra, IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu alone.

Kanu's re-arrest: IPOB condemns Northern Elders over attack on Ohanaeze, says present Ohanaeze can't be intimidated like others

By Chukwuemeka Chimerue | Biafra Writers

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has condemned in strong terms, the attack on the apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo by Northern Elders Forum, NEF, for resisting the call by the Federal government to revoke the bail and re-arrest the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The Chairman of the Northern Elders, Chief Paul Unongo, while reacting to the condemnation by the President of Ohanaeze, Chief John Nnia Nwodo, said the Igbo group was trivializing criminality for resisting the call for the re-arrest of the IPOB leader.

However, IPOB, in a statement released by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, said that it was ill-conceivable on the part of the Northern Elders for believing that the present crop of leadership of the Pan Igbo group could be mowed into intimidation to submit to their whims and caprices like other previous leadership it has had.

IPOB added that having failed to release Nnamdi Kanu against the court order issued in 2015, the Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and the Director-General of the Department of State Services,  DSS, Lawal Daura, should be the ones in detention, stressing that Kanu has not committed any offence against the law, which was the reason the Attorney General of the Federation is yet to commence a full blown trial into the trumped up charges against the IPOB leader.

Biafra: Arewa Suspended "Quit Notice" Is Political; Come Back Home Before October 1

Press Release:

August 25, 2017

It's inconsequential to IPOB whether the 'quit notice' rescinded or not because it will in no way impact the pace and direction of our effort to restore Biafra. We urge all southerners in the core North to return home before October 1 as history will most definitely repeat itself.

Southerners were massacred in the pogroms of 1966 and 1967 after similar assurances were issued then that people should remain in the North. The presence of a serving governor and senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the supposed press briefing confirms what we have always known that the incitement to genocide which is what then 'quit notice' is all about, has the blessing of the Arewa political class.

It betrays the mindset of those clamouring for One Nigeria as irredeemable blood thirsty psychopaths shielded hiding behind ethnic bigotry to unleash what will amount to the 15 mass murder of non indigenes resident in core Arewa North. If President Buhari is at all serious about clamping down on hate speech, he should arrest those behind the 'quit notice' along with their sponsors.

Trying to drag the name of our revered leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu into their unintelligent blood fest will be resisted. If the idea is to cower our leader with calls for his arrest, then those behind the genocidal edict of Igbos must leave the North are even more dumb than we thought. Nigeria is crumbling today before our eyes due to the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, those wishing for him to be arrested again is basically signing the death warrant of Nigeria.

Our quest to restore Biafra is unstoppable and the sooner the Islamic Arewa North knows this, the better for everyone. If Nigeria has any case against Nnamdi Kanu they should present it before the law courts not recruiting barely literate street urchins to issue a threat of mass extermination of Igbos living in the North. We are not afraid of the fabled Fulani hegemonic juggernaut that has literally steamrolled every other ethnicity in Nigeria into submission because we are Biafrans. Threats don't have any effect on us, so our advice to Arewa North is to please stick to the October 1 deadline or else they have no honour.

Biafra: Buhari Commanding Nigerian Army To Kill Biafra Security Service Is A Hight Of Double Standard- See Pictures of Hisbah, Sharia Police

August 24, 2017

The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has said that he set up the Biafra Security Service so as to provide security for Biafrans people.

Kanu, who spoke yesterday shortly after his visit to Senator Enyinna Abaribe, said the federal government had failed to protect the people.

He said Fulani herdsmen has been killing Biafra people while the police failed to address the issue.

He said:

“I will not do anything that will bring dishonour to my people. There is no reason for people to be afraid of the internal operation of IPOB.

“We want to stop the menace of Fulani herdsmen in our land. In the north, they have the Hisbah police, they have the Sharia police. They even have the Janjaweed police. Here, we have nothing.

“We need to protect this very land. We want to protect the Fulani men from rustling.

“The police have done nothing. Fulani herdsmen are operating everywhere.

“President Buhari spoke; he never mentioned the menace of Fulani herdsmen. His interest was Biafra agitation. It doesn’t work for me. I am a Biafran.”

Radio Biafra Further took to their facebook page to cry out;

The Nigerian government has continued her double standard on issues of national discourse. Passionate hatred and gross marginalization is when Hisbah sharia police is operational in Northern Nigeria while Southern Nigeria is left at the mercy of Fulani herdsmen.
Again, Hate and marginalization is when Hisbah sharia Police is fully operational in Northern Nigeria and there was no threat from Nigerian government to clamp them down but the emergence of Biafra Security Service (BSS) has been condemned from all quarters and the Nigerian government has called the DSS, Nevy, Army and Police to arrest, detain and even kill our people because a non-violent security outfit was established in the old Eastern region to protect our people.

When we talk they will tag it a hate speech, you cannot beat a child and tell him not to cry, we shall resist this intimidation with the last drop of our blood.

BIAFRA: KADUNA DECLARATION; THE CANONIZATION OF HYPOCRISY

August 16, 2017

By Odira O. Udozo || For Biafra Writers

Watching the clips of the declaration of a coalition of Northern youth groups claiming to speak for all ethnic nationalities within northern Nigeria, plunged me into a sea of thoughts. it was pleasant to see that Nnamdi Kanu has literally brought Nigeria to its knees using the most powerful weapon of all: Truth.

IPOB hasn’t killed anyone neither are they planning to, but the country is already mirroring the path of Hindustan at their split. Also pleasant to note is the realization that many ethnic nationalities locked up in this hopeless colonial cage, have longed for the apple of freedom but lacked the courage, resilience, and momentum to reach for it. The Kaduna declaration, however, has a lot of falsehoods and should be pointed out for posterity sake.

The “methuselah” youths pointed that ‘Igbos are recklessly disrespectful, ungrateful and staining the country’s image with their insatiable criminal obsessions.’ Isn’t it ludicrous that the Hausa/Fulani hegemony speaking through its youth wing, hiding under the umbrella of Northern Nigeria would talk about disrespect of Igbos to other federating units? What of Hausa/ Fulanis disrespect for those within its federating unit: the North? Whose disrespect lead to loss of thousands of lives in Plateau, Taraba, Agatu and even the on going genocide in southern Kaduna? What kind of disrespect is worse than having your kinsmen march into people’s lands, allowing cows devour people’s source of livelihood, and have the people macheted to death when they arise in protest? The Arewa youths must mean respect when same herdsmen are armed openly with lethal weapons marauding through lands unchecked by the arewa dominated security apparatus, while others caught with a pistol, from other regions are prosecuted for bearing arms.

Read Also: BIAFRA: FROM IPOB DIRECTORATE TO NIGERIA NEWS EDITORS

It's not disrespectful for thousands of Biafrans and other Christians to be killed in horror manners because of events taking place in Denmark or the 9/11 bombings. Its still not disrespectful when the kingpin behind the madalla church bombing escapes from custody but peaceful Biafran agitators like Benjamin Madubugwu, David Nwawuisi, Chidibere Onwudiwe, Bright Chimezie Ishinwa, and others as well as Yorubas arrested in the aftermath of the ile-ife crisis, where both Hausa and Yorubas were victims: remain under tight vigilance in custody.

One can go on for a long time, but as they say, sometimes one fails to remove the plank in his eyes but wants to remove the speck in someone’s eyes. I am not trying to insinuate that the Igbos are saints, of course not. There are vices ranging from fraud, theft, kidnapping, drug trafficking, and other financial related crimes, some people have turned to since after the civil war. Some school of thought harp it on the economic malice waged on the Easterners by the rest of the country, some others say it's due to greed and loss of societal values, I say its all of the above and no excuse justifies their take to crime just to get rich quick. Hopefully, in our fledgling nation, these criminals won't be given space to breed, they will be continually fished out and dealt with appropriately to prove to the world that the Biafran nations, historically has zero tolerance for such vices.

The Igbo may be bad, just as you may find bad citizens in every ethnicity and nations, but no Igbo has attempted to blow up a plane filled with innocent passengers, no easterner is involved in the management of the deadliest terrorist group in Africa. When next these Arewa people decide to point fingers on those tarnishing the so called Nigeria’s image, they should realize that four fingers point back at them. The 30th May 2017 sit at home order issued by the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and was obeyed across Biafraland must have put some quarters into a state of mental topsy turvy, they never knew it had reached this level. Instead of accepting the reality, they now try to peddle falsehood of how Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) staged a forceful lockdown of the entire old Eastern region! How? When an intimidating horde of security personnel; land and air; was dispatched to Biafraland to ensure no one forces people to stay indoors. How then can these people sit in Kaduna and declare such fallacy to the world? Which news outlet do they use? Even international and local media houses adjudged it a peaceful, people oriented action.

They must have really enjoyed seeing dead bodies litter the cities as an aftermath of peaceful protests in the past, courtesy of the security forces. If not, I see no reason why these ‘youths with no age limits’ will say the government has been indifferent to the Biafra agitation. How did indifference lead to the death of more than 500 innocent men and women whose only crime as to demand their right to self-exist, or the hundreds locked away in various detention camps in Nigeria or the fact that they attempted to try Mazi Nnamdi Kanu secretly for reasons best known to them? These doesn’t seem indifferent to me. The world must take into cognizance that the call by arewa youths is an attempt to provoke the Biafrans to derail from their world acknowledged peaceful modus operandi in the agitation for a sovereign state.

The temptation to go violent must be resisted by Biafrans no matter what happens in the north after Oct.1, 2017. The international alliance of 1967 against Biafra may still be viable, so we must give the international community no reason to doubt our observance of the UN laid down path to Self-determination. The world must have no excuse for turning a blind eye to the pains of Biafra like they did five decades ago. As the 2nd flight to Biafra commences, I urge those easterners who have built Dubai in the north to consider insuring these properties using international insurance companies. It may not be too late because these people may decide to disregard the fact that in sane climes, properties are not confiscated in such manner in event of a breakup. Alas, this is Nigeria, assumption that people will behave sanely is a luxury we can't afford.

Biafra: Your Call For Kanu's Re-arrest Will Plunge Nigeria Into Crisis - Biafra Writers Tells Arewa Youths

By Osinachi Stanley Edeh | Biafra Writers

Given the stance of the Arewa Youths in the current situation of the country, one would not need a prophet or soothsayer to know that the political system is highly in favour of the North.
The political structure, policy and the constitution of the country are deliberately drafted in favour of the North and they (north) have vowed to defend the status quo with the last drop of their blood instead of allowing for a rearrangement or restructuring to enable the out cried nationalities to have fair governance.

In a bid to uphold the status quo, the North under the coalition of Arewa Youths Consultative Forum, have resorted to the use of police, the army, DSS to maim, brutalize, and intimidate the public as though the country is their conquered empire. The Arewa Youths staged pro-Buhari rally despite the obvious lapses the country has suffered in the economy, security, development, employment, and so on, in the hands of this government.

Not only that this unguided group staged a solidarity rally but issued a demand for the re-arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, who they believe is causing problem in the country. These shows how demented and illiterate-ridden they are. How could one who is fighting for the justice for his own people be regarded as an anarchist? Under which known law in the world is self-determination a crime? It's becoming more glaring that this youths have no legal adviser or perhaps their legal adviser is not learned enough to know and advice the youths to stop treading on dangerous ground.

They should be ashamed of themselves for being used by their selfish leaders and elders to fight for the status quo which has never paid off or bettered their (youths) lives. The most pathetic of this people's ignorance is that they are fighting to maintain the status quo for the cabals who have wielded power ever before their fathers were born instead of fighting to take power from them and elect a leader with vast knowledge in modern democracy that will reorganize the country to compete with the standard, modern countries of the world.

They should be ashamed of themselves for taking bribe to stage a solidarity rally when they have not seen any positive impact in their lives and their communities, of the government which they have being fighting for. For love of money this group have sold their consciences, denied themselves of true democracy and etiquette and came out shamelessly to tell the world the stock they are made of. They did not only tell the world that, yes, they are tyrants and uncivilized people but a people with fiddle minds.

The earlier the Arewa Youths understand that Nnamdi Kanu is not only an international figure but an institution of people with determination and passion to set themselves free from the bondage of Nigeria at all cost through civil/democratic process, the better for them. They should seriously tread with caution or plunge themselves and the entire country into unprecedented doom. They should not take our non-violent nature for granted for any attempt to re-arrest Nnamdi Kanu will be resisted. They should dwell in their primitive lives and allow us to reorganise our own nation. Neither will the rearrest of Kanu nor his death can quell the agitation for Biafra.
