Release Olisa Metuh Now or – Kanu Warns Aisha

By Nelson Ofokar Yagazie | Biafra Writers

June 11, 2020.

The long incarcerated PDP chieftain, Olisa Metuh, might soon regain freedom as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has sued for his release. The leader of the indigenous People of Biafra, had on his midweek broadcast on Radio Biafra London, staged a threat on Aso Rock with regard to Olisa Metuh’s case. He asked the cabal running Nigeria to release Metuh or face his ire.

The PDP chieftain is being held on corruption charges having been framed up by the APC government which, in keeping to its commitment to witch-hunting anybody associated with former President Goodluck Jonathan, alleged that the detained party man had during the reign of Jonathan, received money from Sambo Dasuki, Jonathan's National Security Adviser.

"How can you be holding a man whom you claim collected bribe but the giver, Dasuki, is walking freely on the street?" an infuriated Kanu wondered. "I campaigned for Dasiki's release because he was being illegally detained. But it doesn't make any sense that a man you said received the money is in jail while the one that gave it to him is walking freely."

Adjudging the whole thing a tribal hostility to the Biafran, Kanu made an emphatic call on Aisha Buhari to release the Biafran man. “Aisha, I am telling you now, release Olisa Metuh or I will so deal with you that you won't be able to step out in public again,” Kanu raged. “What I am doing now is a child's play compare to what I will do to you if you don't release Metuh. You know I have your secrets; I will expose you to the world,” he threatened.

Recall that since the death of former Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has maintained that Aisha has assumed full control of the rogue regime in Nigerian, running the country with the help of her boyfriend whom she uses to fool 200 million Nigerians. Kanu has consistently asserted that the First Lady provides her young boyfriend with late Buhari face mask, thus making him appear as the late husband.

Considering that Orji Uzor Kalu and few others were released after Kanu and his freedom seeking group, IPOB, pressured the FG to, freedom seems to be knocking on Metuh's prison door.

Bad people have taken over government in Nigeria - Aisha Buhari

DECEMBER 7, 2019 | THE BIAFRA TIMES

…some persons are using social media to bring down the government - Aisha Buhari
…accused presidential aides and other government officials of ignoring issues

Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, says “bad people” have taken over the country from people who are “supposed to be in charge”.

in a TV programme Monitored by The Cable,  Aisha said this on Thursday during a phone-in interview on Television Continental (TVC)’s ‘Journalists Hangout’ programme.

She said it is unacceptable that those who should be in control of the government have remained mute, while some persons are using social media to bring down the government.

“I didn’t take it seriously because even my husband didn’t know what was happening,” she said of the rumoured marriage.

“Both of us didn’t know what was happening; they just decided to bombard social media with it. They are now taking to social media to bring down the government itself.

“I think that we should not allow people that are nothing to override the innocent; I don’t know why people that are supposed to be in charge should remain mute while bad people take over the country from us. It is impossible and totally unacceptable.”

The first lady also accused presidential aides and other government officials of ignoring issues they should respond to and focusing on things that the presidency has no business in.

“Whenever they (presidential aides) are supposed to take action against the offenders, or to take action or to take charge or be in control, or caution people, they keep mute,” she said.

“But when it comes to unnecessary things, people will start talking of the presidency. A typical example is what happened after the election in Bayelsa state. When the PDP came out and said they would … suspend His Excellency, Goodluck Jonathan, the former president, for doing wrong or something like that.

“I have seen no reason why (the) presidency should come out and say that they were shocked to hear that. Is it their business? Are they PDP members? Is President Jonathan a member of our party? What does that have to do with the presidency?
