IPOB Enugwu Province Pays Condolence Visit to Kanu Family

February 3, 2020

By Okoafor Odinaka | Biafra Writers

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Enugwu province, paid a condolence visit to the family of the Supreme Leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, over the death of their parent, His Royal Highness, Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (the Eze Udo II of Isiama Afara-ukwu Ibeku) and Lolo Ugoeze Sally Kanu. The group – a delegate of the state coordinator, Mazi Chinonso, his executives and the executives of the three senatorial districts that made up the state – was received by Prince Emmanuel Kanu, younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu.

The visiting group sympathized with the bereaved family who lost their mother on the 31st day of August 2019 and their father on the 31st of October 2019. Both of them died as a result of the psychological shock sustained from the invasion of their home by the murderous Nigerian military which left 28 young men dead and many more severely injured.

The visiting group presented the mourning family with some items which were well received. They were in turn presented with kola and other refreshment items.

Prince Kanu shared with them some of the details of the preparation being made for the burial which comes up on the 14th of February, 2020.
