The Insufficiency Of PVC In Regime Change In Africa

Africa as a continent have in her checkered history produced many rulers, dictators and emperors, who ruled and reigned over their land with iron fist; ruthless and lawless. Without respect to the rule of law, human right abusers, war criminals and violators of the very constitution they swore to uphold, has dragged Africa to the hall of infamy. Several attempts were made to depose them and usher in a regime change through the constitutional means of voting using Permanent Voters Card, PVC, without success. Why? Because these despots, tyrants and dictators have mastered the art of rigging election and perpetuation through their long years in power, manipulating every due process thereby subverting the will of the people in order to retain their position and perpetuate themselves in power.

The recent alleged discovery of thousands of PVCs in the residence of the sacked, former czar of DSS, Lawal Musa Daura, is a typical example of how desperate African despots can be concerning self-preservation in power.

I make bold to say that the much-publicized registration and issuance of PVC by the present crop of politicians in Nigeria, is more ceremonial than relevant because the so-called PVC doesn't mean much to them. The recent Ekiti State governorship election is a very typical case study; an eyeopener to some of us that believed in the truth.

Our only earnest expectation is the forthcoming referendum that will determine whether we will remain in Nigeria, with all her intrigue, shenanigans and dance of shame or opt out.

Nigeria is the paradoxical baby that have refused to grow in order to make way for another newborn baby in the family. We are elated and excited about our eventual establishment and restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra; to us, it's like recovering our stolen honour and long denied identity.

We canvass and we are very fanatical about this that we shall neither support nor participate in any electoral process in Nigeria again, until the Nigerian government and her British ally gives heed to our demand for a credible referendum and eventual safe passage to our own dear nation of Biafra.

The warmongers among the Fulani oligarchy are relentless in the inordinate pursuit of their long-held ideology of divide and rule, arbitrary arrest and detention, torment and torture, injuring and murder of our people across the length and breadth of Nigeria. Our message to Muhammadu Buhari and his Fulani militia is this: Build more prisons, acquire more arms and ammunition, including but not limited to fighter jets and APC (Armoured personnel carriers). Our resolve is irrevocable, our quest is unquenchable, our spirit is supercharged.
