BIAFRA: THE UNITY WE HAVE; THE UNITY IN VIEW

Unity of purpose, mind and will in what took place at Afara ukwu Ibeku, Umuahia, is rare in recent times. Firstly, God descended in the midst of his people like in days of old. God appeared in rainbow with beautiful colours circling the sun and a star of David stood in the middle of the sun. Never in the human history has that been recorded. God of miracles!

At Afara, God united the hearts of Biafrans; the unity that was once lost, was found. He acknowledged our cries and efforts. We witnessed leaders of other agitating Biafran sectors converging to Umuahia and pleading allegiance and support to the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This is another landmark achievement. They submitted to the will of the Almighty like the three wise men from the East. A new sphere has opened in our age and must not be let go.

This is not a man-made achievement and must be guided by all involved. I may be wrong but my warning is that you: Be sure your allegiance is honest Be sure your intentions are pure Do not politicize the Biafran struggle Do not try to change the course of events This Biafran unity that we have, is not negotiable or should not be betrayed by any means.

Our motive must remain to work as a team under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and channel our aim to one direction: 'referendum'. We, members of IPOB, must be accommodating of our sister bodies; relating with them without sarcasm, discrimination or pride.

We should embrace our brethren because Chukwu Okike has set the example. Let Nigeria see in us, a force to reckon with; we must refute all attempts to scatter our newly developed unity by immediately setting up departments to accommodate every willing hands. All hands must be on deck at this time, to realize this herculean task before us.

There are lots to be done, many stones are still unturned. So let us work and waste no time, as no effort is small, lost or wasted. Referendum must be our priority.

We must ensure by conviction that no one comes out to vote for all these selfish greedy Eastern 'Esaus' who betrayed the people's mandate all these while, recycling themselves for political posts and benefits in these past years.

Evangelism must be doubled. Prayer teams, writers, security, every Dick and Tom, must help rebuild our land of the rising sun, as we usher her in with the unity of soul. United, we definitely stand!
