BIAFRA: OPEN LETTER TO OHANEZE NDIGBO ON ITS ADDRESS AT THE ANAMBRA STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

The current Biafra agitation has exposed and has continued to expose the stupidity and the unscrupulousness that makes up and that is Nigeria in its entirety. Nigeria has consistently proven that it is the literal interpretation of the concept of hell fire here on earth and there is no doubt to this fact, given the ample evidences and testimonies. A country that openly and consciously roots for immorality and cruelty is not worthy to be referred to as a country as it would be a slight on the values of right-thinking men and men of goodwill around the world. The chaos, savagery, maliciousness, criminality and confusion that characterize the Nigerian enclave are such that it should rather be ranked alongside or lower to the animal world.

Given the circumstance, the Biafran people have declared the desire to be dissociated from these conscious and state-sanctioned criminalities and insanities by opting for the restoration of their stolen nation and identity - Biafra. However, the Nigerian state has continued to be a torn in the flesh of the good people of Biafra through its various malevolent and divisive tendencies. One of such malicious plots is the employment of the rogue group known as Ohaneze Ndigbo in order to stifle the legitimate quest of the Indigenous People of Biafra and the desires of Biafrans in general.

It would be noteworthy to state categorically here for the interest of the good people of Biafra and other men of goodwill, that Ohaneze Ndigbo is a preposterously pretentious rogue group and so do not command any influence on the people of Biafra. An Igbo adage says, “If a statue becomes mischievous, then you admonish it by telling it the very wood from which it was carved.” Ohaneze Ndigbo is a gluttonous group of political jobbers formed from a mere social club known as People’s Club. Ohaneze Ndigbo was never instituted by even the people and chiefs in Igboland and so does not and would never have the mandate of the Biafran people.

We’re aware that Ohaneze Ndigbo pretends to speak on behalf of the Igbo people or the Biafran people in general because it has become a willing tool by the Arewa oligarchy against the generality of the Biafran people. However, it must be certain that its mischief and callousness will be vehemently resisted and exposed. Though there might be a few good men at Ohaneze Ndigbo, but it is simply an anti-Biafran group of political jobbers who are selfish and hard-hearted and who do not care about the well-being of the Igbo people. Ohaneze Ndigbo has never made any positive impact in Igboland because it is a bunch of irresponsible party freaks that jumped from nightclubs into seeming political relevance. Therefore, anyone who is listening to the unintelligible and reckless remarks being spewed by Ohaneze is simply doing so at his own peril. Because of the corruption, subjugation, criminality and high-handedness of the Nigerian government, the Biafran people have chosen to boycott the elections beginning with that of Anambra state come November 2017, in order to register their displeasure with the failed Nigerian system and to be given an opportunity to decide their political future. This is exactly what they want to do because they have chosen a leader who has proven to identify with them and their plights, therefore, if you (Ohaneze) feel concerned, then you should identify with the legitimate desires of your people.

In an interview granted to Channels TV recently, Nnia Nwodo who is the president of Ohaneze Ndigbo openly admitted that Ohaneze had lost the confidence of the people – which it never enjoyed anyway. Why then should Ohaneze continue to pretentiously parade itself as though it has the mandate of the Biafran people or even the Igbo people? To make matters even worse, Ohaneze Ndigbo proved their unintelligible, outright stupidity and irresponsibility by viciously seeking to further divide the Igbo people and Biafrans in general by spewing unimaginable garbage at the Anambra state House of Assembly. Ohaneze Ndigbo, in a mischievous attempt to frustrate the legitimate Biafran revolution and to continue to defend its political harlotry and protect its sources of immoral loots, chose to create confusion in Igboland by telling its listeners that the rest of the Igbos are no longer Igbos except Anambrarians alone. The paramount question that Ohaneze should answer is, “is there any physical line or great-wall dividing the Igbos in Anambra state from the rest of the Igbos?” This is once again, a proof that Ohaneze Ndigbo does not care about the unity and well-being of the Igbos and that of the Biafran people in general and so should be discarded as a group of decrepit and irresponsible rascals.

Ohaneze should be made to understand that power belongs to the people and not to a few political prostitutes and scallywags pretending to be speaking for the people. If Ohaneze claims it is speaking on behalf of the Igbos or the Biafrans, then it should concern itself with the legitimate desires of the people instead of trying to frustrate and circumvent the demands of the people out of its insatiable selfish desires. Ohanaeze Ndigbo, you should know that the Igbos and indeed Biafrans in general, are legitimately demanding for a referendum to be able to decide their political fate and future, and so if you want to be taken serious, then you should honour that demand and endeavour to facilitate the necessary processes for a plebiscite instead of jumping from pillar to post in a futile attempt to forestall the Biafran revolution. If you are delusional to think that the popularity of the Biafran agitation is insignificant, then you are even more callous than is imagined because the only guaranteed way to ascertain that is still through an uncompromised plebiscite.

Therefore, the cowardly Ohaneze Ndigbo should go into its cubicles and have a rethink, guard its utterances and do the needful. It should also be noted here that Ohaneze Ndigbo has never come out openly to condemn the incessant killings of its kith and kin by the marauding and savagery hausa-fulani herdsmen. But it is shameless enough to oppose the legitimate demands of the Biafran people because it is for the most part, made up of a bunch of decrepit vagabonds who were fathered by the filthy hausa/fulani tramps. Ohaneze Ndigbo should give itself some honour and do the needful or risk being relegated to the dustbin of oblivion.
