It has come to the notice of Biafra Writers that the Emeka Umeagbalasi-led Intersociety has gone astray to the extent of derailing from their duties as a human right organization to dabble into mere gossiping and tarnishing of people’s image.
In reference to the publication made by INTERSOCIETY on June 2, 2017, via 247UReports, one may be forced to ask, when it has become the duty of the human rights body to appraise the activities of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB in general. Who made them a watchdog over Nnamdi Kanu?
According to Intersociety; “we are particularly appalled and deeply worried over an allegation making the news in the web and social media (i.e. 247UReports) concerning Governor Willie Obiano’s car and cash gifts to Citizen Nnamdi Kanu. According to the said online news report, “Nnamdi Kanu was recently handed over a cash of $50,000 and two SUV cars by Governor Willie Obiano and the gifts were gladly accepted from the giver”. On further enquiry, a dependable and authoritative source told the coalition that “the acceptance of the gifts by Kanu from Governor Obiano was owing to the fact that Governor Obiano has been assisting Nnamdi Kanu’s father while Kanu was in prison”.

The questions this Emeka Umeagbalasi and his intersociety needs to answer is; as renowned as the International Society for Civil Liberty & Rule of Law is, how can they stoop so law to peddle such a gibberish unconfirmed and untrue story based on the false and malicious allegation making round the news even when proper and unbiased investigation is yet to be conducted on the matter?
This one “Primus Odili” said to be Obiano’s relative, which they claimed delivered the gift items to Nnamdi Kanu, was there any form of personal contact between him and the human rights group in order to confirm the role he supposedly played?
If they had met him and he confirmed delivering the gifts to Kanu, then Emeka Umeagbalasi and his group should provide indubitable evidence of how, where and when this Primus Odili met Nnamdi Kanu and handed him the said gift from Obiano.

The question every right thinking person should ask is; if the issue here is accepting gift in return for political favours, how come Kanu publicly announced “no elections in not only Anambra State but throughout Biafraland until a referendum to decide people’s future is being conducted”? But the peanut paid to Emeka Umeagbalasi to tarnish Kanu’s image could not let him come to this logical thinking.
It is obvious that the virus of jealousy and envy dwelling in some unscrupulous Igbo men, has infected INTERSOCIETY, it may be because Kanu has not visited them since his released from detention. If not, why blindly making reference to demigod? By implication, Intersociety is trying to tell us they have joined the club of those envious people that find people kneeling down to pray with Kanu abhorrent.
It is unfortunate that INTERSOCIETY led by Emeka Umeagbalasi has lost focus on its duties and has reduced itself to a childish and gossiping organization other than fighting for people’s rights.

We are placing a warning to Emeka Umeagbalasi and his sponsors to retrace their steps or get ready for the dance of the spirit. We are the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, we are everywhere and we know who is who. We shall stop at nothing to decimate any individual or group who attempts or contemplates to tarnish the image of our leader, Nnamdi Kanu especially when doing that mischievously without any shred of evidence. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

For Biafra Writers
It's sad that Mazi Emeka Umeagbalasi of INTERSOCIETY, a highly respected civil rights organization has been deceived and sold out to the murderous Islamic State of Nigeria. Igbos are their own worst enemies but all these sellouts and saboteurs will fail. Evil cannot win over good. Shame be upon them.
