Biafra: In Biafra "One Nigeria" Permanently Died

The constant exclusion of the southeastern region from the scheme of things in Nigeria is an indication that there’s no such things as "federal character", because the notion of "one Nigeria" died since 1970 after the genocidal civil war, and it is only a matter of time before Nigeria disintegrates into various component parts. For those pretentiously asking how the Biafrans are being marginalized in Nigeria, they need not look too deep as unfolding events especially since the Buhari-led administration started has shown that Biafrans are not and can never be allowed equal share of the national cake, despite being the bedrock of its economy.

This can be clarified with the lopsided ways the Nigerian state has been governed by the cabals from the Northern hemisphere and their household slave from the Western hemisphere. We all know what happened with the so called triple ‘R’ that was meant to heal the wounds suffered during the war.  After the civil war, ‘Reconciliation, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction’ was initiated and announced but it never happened in Biafra, but instead, the Nigerian government took the whole funds from the world bank and faced the North and West where there was never a single bombing, shooting  and killings throughout the entire period of the civil war and leaving the entire eastern region where the genocide really occurred in desolation; where shelling and all kinds of bombs were used to destroy our homes, schools, markets, bridges and motorable high ways.

Many Biafrans were left with no place to lay down their heads after that genocidal war. They began from scratch to build their home lands by themselves and despite these injustices, they still thrived and flourished as a people because when you visit Biafra today, you will know that the saying which states that there’s no competition in destiny is really working for Biafrans because we are Naturally and biologically engineered to survive under harsh conditions.

We all saw what happened with the triple ‘R’ scheme, which gave birth to the national Theatre in Lagos, Kano international airport and numerous other projects erected from that scheme in the north instead of the east where the real war took place. Yet, the world bank and the international community looked the other way as if they don’t know what transpired with the funds they raised for the purpose of giving the people of Biafra a leverage to endure their losses, But yet as a determined people, we kept soaring high above hardship and above the neglected government influences on our lands.

The last time the DSS released the list of enrollees into that department, we all saw how lopsided it was, not a single person from the Biafran region was among those enrolled into that agency and many other agencies were deficient of Biafrans like the Nigerian army which has turned to a Northern household military forum, from the army badge which has Arabic emblem on it, one would understand what exactly we are talking about; not to talk of the national security agencies, with all the heads coming from the north and few from the west, none from the east and yet the gullibles still naïvely say "we are One Nigeria and must remain so."

The latest is the proposed railway project which is to be built across the northern and western regions from the $6.bn loan which the federal government seek to get from China. They listed all the locations that the railway lines will be constructed from and its termination zone, and lo and behold, the entire Biafraland was excluded from the project.

We the indigenous people of Biafra are not bothered whether a single project is carried out or not in the region as we have already made up our mind to exit this fraudulent marriage called "One Nigeria."  Even if One Nigerianists and their rulers decides today to make a U-turn and start to include Biafrans in their scheme of things in Nigeria, it will not make any difference as the deed has already been done. The honey moon of this fraudulent union has ended since 1970 in a bitter divorce and Biafrans as a determined people have made up our minds to exit from this British estate called Nigeria and there’s no going back from that decision.

Our push for independence and self determination has accelerated and in the end Biafra will be restored.
