As the indigenous people of Biafra are gearing to obey the sit-at-home order on the 30th of May 2017, in honour of the fallen heroes, we are urging those in diaspora to play their own part in their various locations. This year's event should not only be about obedience to the Biafran leadership but must be our absolute desire to honour those innocent blood sacrificed on Nigerian's altar, for the sake of our freedom.
Many sympathizers had died too, since 1967 till date. In the bid to fight for the emancipation of our kind from slavery and servitude, many died. This must be a solemn time to reflect and reason out the essence of all these efforts.
What else is worth dying for, than freedom? Even Jesus died to free humanity from captivity of sin, death and hell. No one envisioned that we will come this far in so little time but with God's appointed time at hand, nothing is stopping our freedom from happening.

Take a seat at home and sing odes to the fallen brethren. Appreciate the bloody sacrifice appealing for God's intervention, and a brighter and more blissful future for our youths, children and babies.
Eulogize the attempts our fathers made in the past by laying down precepts we are following to ensure that we acquire our inheritance, which was cunningly and forcefully stolen from us.
We cannot continue to exist without identity. Igbo is our language not our identity, Efik, Ijaw, Idoma etc are languages spoken by a people embodied in tribes with cultures and ways of life, therefore cannot be called otherwise.
As our late hero from the Ijaw clan sir Frank Opigo rightly said, we are Biafrans and and as such our nation should be called Biafra, because we are a people from the Bight of Biafra. We deserve our place in our society. Until total freedom is achieved, there is nothing like partial freedom such as political restructuring or one Nigeria.

Nigeria is as meaningless as her name implies (Niger- area). If Nigeria does not connote a geographical expression, how come about such an awful name?
The answer is not far fetched. Niger- area is an acronym to Niger-delta where the oil flows like milk and honey. A symbol for rich discovery by the foreign invaders as they discover oil in abundance and greedily cooked up junkies from all over, combining and giving them the areas name and identity. What a pity for clueless niger- areans!
As May 30th approaches, let us ponder on these things and arise with determination to restore our dignity with pride. The efforts of our heroes both past and present will never be in vain. This is the time to take the kingdom of Biafrans by force from Niger-areans.... Arise oh ye great Biafrans and prove to humanity that we are all out to Posses our land!
