The quest for the restoration of the State of Biafra, championed by the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB) under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu, who is now a prisoner of conscience (POC) has come to a point where it is inevitable to let Biafra go. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB have fought so hard and are still fighting for the restoration of Biafra in the most civilized manner as mandated under international law of self-determination.
Self-determination is enshrined in the United Nation charter of the “right of the indigenous people” and the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB are not exempted from it. It is time for the institutions spearheading the protection of right to self-determination to uphold what it stands for and publicly call for referendum for the indigenous people of Biafra.

The indigenous people of Biafra worldwide has done enough to prove to the world that they are civilized by not yielding to the machinations of the evil enterprise called Nigeria under the supervision of Britain, and are ready to go back to their nation “Biafra” which existed long before the invasion of the British.
IPOB worldwide have embarked upon several massive peaceful protests/rallies in Biafraland, both within Nigeria and all the countries where they are found all over the world, they have also observed a sit-at-home protest in Biafraland which had ripple effect on Nigeria's economy, and in all of these they have maintained maximum civility.

The Indigenous People of Biafra who are mostly Christians have suffered more than enough marginalization, persecution, subjugation, and massacre with the sole aim of wiping them out of extinction. The British government, their Hausa Fulani stooge and their Yoruba counterpart who are mostly Muslims are all part of the conspiracy to annihilate Biafrans and these atrocity is still ongoing with the Nigerian Army killing Biafrans without provocation and perenially lying about it.
The mass-killing of IPOB started even before the Biafra genocide of 1967-1970, as a matter of fact, it was the mass-killing of Biafrans in the Northern part of Nigeria that led to the declaration of the sovereign state of Biafra by the late Ikemba Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. One would have thought that what triggered the civil war would have stopped and prevented from recurring, but till date, we are still being killed for same reason that led to the first war.

While we are still burying those killed by the Nigerian forces, Buhari and his assassins have continued to threaten that they will kill more of Biafrans to preserve this unholy union. The recent incident which recorded the killing of over 20 Biafrans by the Nigerian Army during President Donald Trump IPOB Solidarity Rally in Igweocha otherwise called Portharcurt in Rivers State, on 20th January 2017, and the massacre of our people who gathered for a family meeting in Asaba Delta State on 12th February 2017 is a pointer to the fact that Nigeria is an embodiment of evil with savages as her foot soldiers.
As at this time, over 2,000 innocent Indigenous People of Biafra are in detention facilities including women and teenagers. Some have been there for over a year and others dead while in detention. Some of them are students that have been forced out of school as a result of their unlawful detention, some are bread-winners of their families and others are business owners whose businesses have wound up as result of all these.

The Fulani janjaweed who are internationally rated as the 4th deadliest terrorists group have forcefully taken over our farmlands with AK47, explosives and other weapons, killing and raping our women, while rendering the affected villages desolate. In all of these atrocities against Biafrans, the whole world is keeping silence and inadvertently encouraging the murderous Nigerian government to kill more.
For how long shall we continue to watch our people suffer and die, while the world does nothing about it? Does it mean the international community have no regard for the black race where it concerns self determination?

Self-determination is our right as well, just as it is the right of the scottish who sought to secede from the U.K; it is the right of all indigenous people all over the world. We believe that UN, AU, EU and other notable organisations are shying away from their responsibility and we strongly condemn in great term their continued silence in the face of the ongoing genocide in Nigeria and Biafraland, we are saying enough is enough.
We are calling on these various bodies to set in motion every structure needed to conduct referendum in Nigeria, so as to determine the fate of its existence which was founded upon a heap of lies. The 1914 almagamation which was due to last for 100yrs has expired, so now it is time to say "To your tents oh Israel."

For Biafra writers
We are patiently waiting for the international community to do the needful. Biafran people have suffered a lot in Nigeria. We have died enough - more than 6 million Biafrans massacred since 1920's till date. It's time to return the indigenous people to their former state before amalgamation in 1914. This must be done before we run out patience.
