•Says I’ll Uphold Kanu’s Leadership Policies
ENUGU— In what appears to be a new dawn for the Enugu state chapter of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, began yesterday, following the election of a new State Coordinator, Mazi Eze Nwachukwu Eze and 3 other Senatorial district Coordinators whom are all indigenes of the state.
Members of the Enugu state executives who attended the inauguration of a new state executives following the dissolution of the former executives by the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, all voted for and against their preferred candidates.
32 votes went for Mazi Eze to emerge as the new State Coordinator as against 1 for his major opponent, Mazi Chukwukadibia who later emerged as Enugu North Senatorial district Coordinator.

The Media Team observed that the whole exercise conducted by the IPOB National leadership’s representative was peaceful and transparent.
In his acceptance speech, Mazi Nwachukwu Eze who expressed his readiness to serve the people, pledged to work with the Enugu state media team and other relevant stakeholders in the Biafra struggle to deliver on his expected projects.
Mazi Eze who also served as the State financial secretary in the past administration, further pleaded for peace, tranquility, love and oneness among members of IPOB Enugu state, vowing to uphold Nnamdi Kanu’s leadership policies.

“I thank Enugu state executives for this opportunity they have accorded me to serve the people. I’ve been one of the leaders serving with the former State Coordinator and people knows what I can do and how I served them.
“We are one people and sincerely, left for me I would have picked someone else to become the State Coordinator but I accepted because I don’t want people to say that I was chosen to lead and I rejected the call for leadership.
“I want all members to forgive and forget whatever that has happened in the past and move on with the struggle as we are all one and one people,” he stated.
The new State Coordinator also thanked and appreciated the efforts of his successor, Mazi Ikedinaekpere Okolie for having served the State up to the present time, adding that the struggle must continue no matter what has happened.

Addressing the new State Coordinator and other executives, the IPOB leadership delegate stated that appointing them as Coordinators is not a privilege or right to intimidate anybody or go against the rules and regulations of IPOB.
He tasked them to as a matter of urgency, set up family meetings in every nooks and crannies of the state and also advised them to follow the principles and guidelines of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
He further said: “What we don’t want is politics, if you’re found politicizing this struggle, you’ll be removed immediately. You have a mandate to serve your people and work according to the instructions of Nnamdi Kanu.
“Those people appointed should go to their respective zones and pick those they will work with. Anybody who has been offended should forgive and move on.”

He also directed for the suspension of the controversial constitution produced by the former state executives, adding that the prayer unit of the state should be revamped.
He said: “That Constitution as it stands is nullified and cancelled because there’s no approval from the DOS or the National leaders of this struggle; it’s a dead issue.
“Onyeisi wants to know how you people conduct prayers because as it stands today, I don’t know about tomorrow, Enugu state is the capital of Biafra. Answers to prayers comes faster when you pray in a particular direction.”
In his address, the former State Coordinator, Mazi Okolie, who appreciated the exercise, said he trusts the leadership capabilities of the newly appointed executives and that everything is still in place, promising to support and work with them.
