BIAFRA: THE CALL FOR YOUTHS TO REVOLT AGAINST NIGERIA AND SUPPORT REFERENDUM

February 25, 2017

There is a saying in Nigeria that ‘the youths are the leaders of tomorrow’. But since the beginning of the charade called democracy in Nigeria, the government have continuously failed in her duty to groom and position the young people in the affairs of the polity, much more giving them the opportunity of becoming leaders just as the saying implies.

A careful perusal of the political structures and history of Africa, especially in Nigeria has revealed overtime that only old and middle aged politicians who have little or nothing to offer have been occupying the seat of power; anyone that eventually gets to such zenith height would always find it difficult to relinquish power. The youths are barred from coming close, let alone given the opportunity to showcase their skills.

Firstly, it was Shehu Shagari from October 1 1979 to December 31 1983, before he was overthrown in a coup d’état led by Major Gen. Muhammadu Buhari the genocidist, who thereafter was also overthrown by Gen. Ibrahim Babangida who later paved way for a deceptive democracy in 1993. Second was Ernest Shonekan 26 August 1993, he was also deposed in a coup d’état led by Gen. Sani Abacha on 17th Nov 1993 and then Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar took over after his death. In 1999, the seat of power democratically went back to Olusegun Obasanjo, who after 8years handed over to Umar Yar' Adua who died in the early days of his regime; constitutionally, Goodluck Jonathan his deputy took reign of power and now it is back to dictator Muhammadu Buhari after several trials and making inciteful statements to "soak dogs and baboons in blood" if he doesn't win the last election.

It is no longer a hidden fact that Nigeria since her creation by Frederick Lugard has never been workable. It degenerated from worse to worst under the current rule of dictator Buhari. Nnamdi Kanu forewarned that Buhari the uneducated geriatric will bring Biafra faster than we envisaged, and it has began to manifest as Buhari has practically sent Nigeria back to stone age with his crude economic policies and wanton killings of her supposed citizens. As the deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu rightly said, "Naira is now the worst currency in Africa under Buhari."

Anybody that will oppose such notion like the Northern politicians did and asking him to forcefully resign because of it is only being sentimental. The world reckons that Buhari's economic policies lack viability and improper even before the deputy senate president said the same. What else could be said of a currency whose country is in recession?

Instead of channeling the country's resources in solidifying her economy, he kept doling out billions of naira in fighting IPOB. He started with bribing satlink to remove Radio Biafra station from her satellite, followed by Zuckerberg the facebook CEO to pull down her facebook group page, the censorship of Biafra news on google, the smear campaign by the Nigerian gutter media, also bribed the former leadership of Ohanaeze ndi Igbo and several others to disrupt the Biafra restoration project by all means and ofcourse not forgetting the Nigerian judiciary so as to keep the arrowhead of IPOB (Nnamdi Kanu) in captivity.

It beats my imagination that all these are happening yet Nigerians, especially the youths fold their arms and watch this visionless Buari-led government rubbish the image of their so called Nigeria and future. The unemployed youths were promised meagre 5000 monthly salary by Buhari's campaign train but lo and behold he denied making such promise. All the monies being lavished in the fight against a noble cause by Buhari and his henchmen would have gone a long way in curbing the suffering of the poor masses, but nobody is holding him accountable.

Should I say Nigerian youths are coward? Whatever happened to revolution? Do you think this government has anything good in store for you? How do you intend to be gainfully employed in a country that is in recession? The politicians you elected into public offices are looting and stealing away your destiny and you are still hoping on becoming 'the leaders of tomorrow'...when will tomorrow ever be?
There is only one solution to this madness called Nigeria and that is ‘Revolution'.

The Nigerian and Biafran youths in general must rise up and take their destinies back from these geriatric criminals and killers of destinies. They should as a matter of urgency revolt against the dictatorship of Muhammadu Buhari and his grand plan to Islamize them. They must rise up against injustices, revolt against human rights violations and support the call for referendum by the Indigenous People of Biafra.

The youths should organize themselves and protest the continued degradation of her existence and call for referendum; that is the only viable option to securing their future and not the Tuface and Charlyboy kind of protest aimed at keeping them in perpetual bondage. These can be coordinated by network of University students and other tertiary institutions. The more of such protests, the greater exposure of Nigeria’s unsustainability.

The Indigenous people of Biafra IPOB has set the pace, we have already taken our future into our hands; irrespective of whatever happens, our zeal to restore Biafra will never wane.

  1. The Nigerian youth, students, etc. - with exclusion of IPOB youths are the most coward on the planet. It is unfathomable how they stay and watch their lives and destinies stolen and destroyed by visionless, myopic, evil and satanic political rulers imposed upon them by Britain and global powers only for interest of their own welfare and for their people. Nigeria and most of sub-Africa is over due for Arab spring. They should wake up from slumber and carry-out a revolution and dissent to put a stop to the impunity, corruption and lawlessness meted upon them by the evil Nigerian/African rulers. If not, they will remain enslaved and die unrealized as human-beings with potential and purpose. A Word is enough for the wise.
