Information reaching Biafra Writers has it that the Boko Haram conscripted Nigerian Army invaded the IPOB family meeting in Okwe primary school, Oshimili South L.G.A in Asaba Delta state and opened fire on the armless Biafrans who were peacefully holding their meeting.
This unfortunate and yet recurring incident simply puts a question mark on the right to free speech and assembly, and makes one to wonder if Nigeria is truly a democratic state or a military entity.
It was reported that the army were informed by their fellow Islamic brothers residing near the primary school about the ongoing meeting, prompting the invasion and massacre. As at the time of filing this report, two people have been confirmed dead.
