BIAFRA:
NIGERIA TEETERING TOWARDS ANARCHY FOR QUICKER RESTORATION OF BIAFRA
It is beyond comprehension how a country of over 180 million people comprising of intellectuals, professionals, captains of industries and career military men sit on the fence and watch an intellectually bankrupt man like Buhari plunge the country into unimaginable catastrophe.
Since president Muhammadu Buhari (the only President without a certificate) assumed office as the Democratic president of Nigeria on 29th May 2015, Nigeria has turned to a killing field. No country in a democratic dispensation has recorded half the number of deaths of unarmed innocent civilians in the hands of state actors like Nigeria has recorded in the past one year.
Muhammadu Buhari was a military dictator from January 1984 to August 1985 after he overthrew the democratic government of Alhaji Aliyu Shehu Shagari in a military coup in December 31, 1983. It is on record that Nigeria was at its lowest level as a country with economic difficulties at the highest level ever seen since after the civil war.

Rule of law and human rights were thrown to the gutter as people were thrown in jail for critiquing the government. Notorious decrees 2 and 4 of 1984 were promulgated to help Buhari throw people in jail and shut the mouths of journalists. Since he took office in his second coming as a democratic president, Nigeria has descended far below the level he took her to in 1984 before general Ibrahim Babangida rescued the country by his ouster in August 1985.
Apart from hunger and human rights abuses, Buhari is leading Nigeria into anarchy by fomenting trouble all over the country with his over bloated ego. They told the world that they have technically defeated Boko haram, but the world's second-deadliest terror group is not done yet. The fight against Boko haram is still raging on even more than ever before, while operation python dance is being embarked upon in peaceful Biafraland.
The Nigerian army themselves agreed that recently they have been losing many troops, a top military officer said, “The truth is that from September to November this year, we have lost so many troops that can’t even be accounted for". This shows that the fight is still ongoing.
Agitation for the restoration of Biafra started some years back by Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in 1967-70, but the arrival to the scene by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu took the agitation to a different level. Nnamdi Kanu won the hearts of many Biafrans by revealing their true identity as a people who have rich heritage and resources, but are still being maligned in a concocted geographical space created by Frederick Lugard.

In 2014, when the former Nigerian president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan saw the rising profile of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, he called for a meeting of media practitioners where he informed them to ignore everything concerning Biafra in their news items which is why little or nothing was heard about Biafra and IPOB during his regime; but as soon as President Buhari took over, he went on the offensive, he threatened to close radio Biafra, he tried to jam the signals without success, then he bought over satlink of Israel, the satellite company that carries radio Biafra signal.
When that did not work, they started stalking the leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and kidnapped him as soon as he came into Nigeria on the 14th of October, 2015. When his followers came out to protest his illegal detention they were massacred in their numbers. More than 2000 Biafrans have been killed by Nigerian security agents from August 30, 2015.
They trace IPOB members to their houses, abduct and kill them. People are arrested for having anything Biafra on them, even phones were searched for radio Biafra app or any photos or videos that contain anything associated with Biafra. Since after the massacre on 30th May, Biafra Heroes day, IPOB suspended street protests, this did not stop Buhari from mobilizing his war machines to Biafraland in the guise of fighting NDA in the creeks.
People were wondering if they intend to drive the entire armored personnel carriers and other heavy land war equipment into the creeks. Till date they still flood the streets of Biafraland with military men of Hausa-Fulani extraction. They harass, intimidate and extort innocent citizens. The worst is they do not engage in any military action when Fulani herdsmen attacks, killing scores of people in same Biafraland they have occupied.

Before the inception of the present administration, there was peace in the so-called Niger Delta and entire Biafraland. About 70% of Nigerian revenue come from oil, over 90% of the oil come from the entire old eastern region, but it is the poorest and most neglected region in Nigeria. Irked by this neglect, the people picked up arms against the government and asked for control of their resources during Obasanjo regime. This disrupted the flow of oil because they asked the oil companies to leave their land for impoverishing the locals.
The region was still volatile till Yar' Adua took office and negotiated with the people. After this negotiation, an amnesty program was put in place, peace came back to the region and oil started flowing uninterrupted again. When Jonathan took office, he continued with the amnesty program which ensured peace in the volatile region. As soon as Buhari came into office, without careful consideration and consultation stopped the amnesty program which brought about the emergence of the dreaded Niger Delta Avengers who decided to disrupt oil flow from their land once again.
Now they are no more asking for resource control, they have joined their brothers from other parts of Biafraland in asking for self-determination. Since the resumption of hostilities, they have never killed any soldier, their aim has always been to cripple oil production to zero level. But Buhari as a military despot immediately mobilized his army to the region. The Undisciplined Nigerian army has continued to harass and intimidate innocent civilians in the villages.

SHIITES: The Buhari led administration wants to open another war front in the North with Shiites. Nigerian Muslims are predominantly Sunni with a minority Shia adherents. The Shia Islamic movement of Nigeria is led by sheik Ibrahim El Zakzaky and has tens of thousands of followers in Nigeria. In December 2015, more than one thousand Shiites were massacred and dumped in mass graves at Buhari's command.

The killing spree was carried out on 12th and 13th December 2015. It started on 12th December 2015 when the convoy of the chief of army staff Lt Gen Brutai was obstructed by Shia worshippers attending a religious ceremony. The army destroyed Shia mosque and killed virtually everybody inside the mosque, they did not stop there, they went to the house of the leader of IMN sheikh El Zakzaky, destroyed the house and killed whoever they saw there, sheikh El Zakzaky and his wife were saved because they were able to hide, but not without life-threatening injuries. Three of their kids were not that lucky as they were killed in that attack.
Sheikh El Zakzaky and his wife were arrested the next day and are still in detention till date. There were protests in Iran, Iraq, and the US because of the killings. Iran and Hassan Nasrallah the leader of Hezbollah issued a strong condemnation of the unprovoked massacre of their fellow Shiites. As if Buhari and his goons are not satisfied with the killings, on 14th November 2016, about 100 shias were killed as they were on their annual Arbaeen symbol trek from Kano to Kaduna.
The IMN has been banned in some Nothern states denying the Shiites their right to worship the way they like. Shias are not banned in Saudi Arabia which is the head of all Muslims and Sunni Islam neither is it banned in any other Muslim nation. In many states of the north shias are arrested, beaten and some are even killed because of their belief.

It is noteworthy that the wars in Syria and Yemen are just proxy wars between Iran and Saudi Arabia, wars between Sunni and Shia sects of Islam. Buhari wants to open another proxy war field for those two rivals in Nigeria.
As if that was not enough, Fulani herdsmen embarked on killing spree starting from Benue state down to Biafraland and yet Buhari has not vehemently condemned the act. They bravely enter any village they step feet on, kill everybody in sight and burn down the village, the next day they will divert into another village and carry out the same evil act without interference from security agents, much more an arrest. It is not out of place to say that they are working with the backing of security agents. Middle belters are threatening to pick up arms to defend themselves since the government is not capable of defending them.
With all of the above stated, one would then ask, how many wars is Buhari ready to fight and how many wars can he fight? It is very obvious that the Nigerian soldiers are at their lowest level of motivation in history. They have been depleted and exhausted by a long unconventional war with Boko haram. Apart from physical fatigue, there is mental weariness due to the inability of defense headquarters to pay their allowances and provide good health care system for the injured.

Lots of complaints many times have been made public by these soldiers. Families of those who died in battle are given very shabby treatment and the injured are also not properly taken care of. The Nigerian army apart from boasting of tired legs, operated with obsolete equipment and fortunately no sane country is willing to sell weapons to a blood-thirsty group for having committed series of human rights violations.
Since Buhari came into power, no weapon has been bought, the current weapons they are using are those bought from black market by Goodluck Jonathan. The chief of air staff complained that countries are unwilling to sell arms to them, they want to buy war planes but nobody wants to sell to them even with their money. The situation became worse for them after Amnesty International released a damning report about the unnecessary use of lethal force by the military against innocent civilians who happened to be Biafrans, after releasing their report on the killing of Shiites.
It is known to all that Shiites do not forsake their own, president Asad of Syria is still in power today because of the help he is getting from Iran and Hezbollah who are fighting for him. They are also fighting Saudi in Yemen to ensure that their brothers there 'the Houthis' are not defeated, imagine what will happen to Nigeria should they invade Nigeria to fight for the Shiites in the contraption.
IMN themselves can decide to pick up arms against the government, is Buhari ready to fight them and Boko haram at the same time? Middle beltans have threatened to pick up arms to defend themselves since the government abandoned them. If that happens, can the military cope?
In the riverine areas of Biafraland Buhari and his military men have been killing the locals, but has it triggered the flow of oil production? Somebody should remind Buhari that Obasanjo fought these people for years when the military was still at its best in but could not defeat them. Is it this depleted and demotivated army with obsolete equipment that can defeat them?
A few days ago, they launched operation python dance which has increased the number of soldiers on our roads as if Biafraland is a war zone. It should be noted that there is a level to which a man can endure provocation. The leader of IPOB is a peace loving man, though he knows that freedom is not given but taken, he wants to restore Biafra without firing one shot and that is why the army is having a good time in Biafraland.
It should be noted that Nnamdi Kanu's peaceful disposition may no longer be imbibed should these wanton killings continue. If Biafrans decide to pick up arms, is Buhari capable of fighting a war on multiple fronts, bearing in mind that Boko haram and others exist?

Time has come for the world to call president Buhari to order. He has intimidated everybody to submission, that even learned men have no say in his style of governance. It has gotten to a point where respected individuals will see things that are capable of destroying the country but keep quiet because of fear.
The international community should make haste to wade into this ugly situation that is ongoing in Nigeria, because if there is an outbreak of war in Nigeria, the world will not be able to contain the millions of refugees that will troop into their various countries, as they are yet to deal with those who have encroached into their territories due to the ongoing Syria war.
Syrian population before the war was about 22 million, but Nigerian population is well over 180 million, and I ask if the world is ready to harbor more refugees? The earlier the world stop Buhari from plunging Nigeria into another war, the better for humanity as a whole. A stitch in time they say saves nine they say.

Excellent analysis of the crises that Buhari has created in Nigeria since he became president in May 2015. Buhari is not a democrat at all. As a former military dictator, he has never changed. Nigerians made terrible mistake to elect him president. I'm afraid that if global powers do not stop him, he may lead Nigeria to violent division. Buhari is a terrorist, jihadist, and fascist. He's a war-monger. He has not changed.
