Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a socio-cultural group of the Igbos, has finally succumbed to the guileless and fervent call for the restoration of Biafra -led by a broader body that constitutes all other ethnic groups in Biafra, the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) under the supreme leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
According to Dr Joe Nworgu, the Secretary General of the organization, "the continued marginalization of the Igbo has made the agitation for the State of Biafra inevitable.
"It has been very bad since 1970, but under Buhari, it has been exacerbated and his attitude and utterances are not helping matters. In fact, Buhari is ever acting to provoke us into taking a wrong step and to have a reason for a clampdown."

Reacting to Buhari's lopsided appointments which excluded the Igbos, Dr Nworgu lamented, "There are many sectors of governance but when you have taken all the plum things, put them under your town's people, what do you expect the other people to do? They will feel excluded. That is why Ndigbo are not happy with his administration.
Though IPOB's grounds for agitation differs greatly from that of Ohanaeze Ndigbo up till this point, IPOB still welcomes this latest resolve by Ohaneze to stand in for truth and save the lives of her generations unborn from perpetual persecution and slavery.

IPOB's grounds for agitation for the restoration of Biafra extends beyond the boarders of political appointments. It is chiefly, a resistance to Islamization by these blood-thirsty Fulani Jihadists, resistance to mediocrity, slavery to the western world and all other factors that limits the potentials, ability and productivity of the black race.
Ohaneze's latest move is also a proof that Nnamdi Kanu's insistent, indefatigable and committed stance on Biafra restoration is gradually dawning on the elite class in Biafra. According to Chudi Offodile, author of "THE POLITICS OF BIAFRA", "the idea of a customary government under the supreme council of elders in accordance with the customary law, enjoys a support among a section of the Igbos; but it is the "BIAFRA OR DEATH" philosophy of Nnamdi Kanu that has found resonance across the length and breadth of the Igbo nation. Therefore, there cannot be a resolution of the Biafra dilemma without the wholesome engagement of the Nnamdi Kanu/Uche Mefor faction of IPOB."

IPOB's philosophy and approach are encompassing, it addresses the concerns and interests of all the ethnic groups in Biafra -giving equal opportunity for even development in the member groups.
Hence, IPOB entreats other "Sell-Outs" who have preferred to trade Biafra freedom for their pockets and cheap popularity, to retreat and retrace their steps as Ohanaeze has done. "Biafra is an idea that cannot be defeated by guns and prison bars" -Prof. Charles Soludo.
The likes of Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Rochas Okorocha, Orji Uzo Kalu, Rotimi Amaechi, Willie Obiano, Peter Obi, Obiageli Ezekwesili, APC party members in Biafra, and all other "One Nigeria" singers, should learn from Adaka Boro's sad story. These men should realise that the freedom of Biafra is freedom for the black race and the restoration of Africa.
