BIAFRA: OHANAEZE CRIES OUT: "OUR PLANS AGAINST NNAMDI KANU DID NOT WORK, HE SHOULD BE RELEASED.": CAN OHANAEZE EVER BE TRUSTED?

Saturday 01 October, 2016

"Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's incarceration till now,  does not seems to be palatable and does not seems to be passing a positive message." -Ohanaeze,  29th September 2016.

The SELL-OUT Igbo socio-cultural cult,  Ohanaeze of Lagos and Abuja Igbo Landlords, had on the occasion of this year's Igbo Day celebration, ingloriously demanded for the immediate and unconditional release of the detained leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB),  Nnamdi Kanu.

Palatable or unpalatable,  it is clear that this sell-out and purposeless group of men, parading themselves as elders of their clan, are frustrated with their evil plans to malign Nnamdi Kanu and frustrate the restoration of Biafra.

Though Ohanaeze Ndigbo has long lost their relevance in Igbo tribe, their iniquitous traits manifested more following their reactions to the agitations for the release of Nnamdi Kanu.

Ohanaeze has on many occasions,  condemned the agitation,  dissociated themselves from Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, advocated for One Nigeria where the Igbo tribe live at the mercy of Fulani herdsmen attacks.  They have failed to seek justice against the killings of unarmed peaceful protesters in Biafra and has connived with the federal government of Nigeria to consistently misrepresent the interest of the Igbos.

According to Princess Chinwe Kanu,  sister to the detained leader of IPOB,  "Ohanaeze Ndigbo are corrupt Charmeleons who are totally indescribable.  Today,  they pretend to seek for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu; tomorrow,  they nod his continuous detention and then disown him.  This minute,  they tag the killing of IPOB protesters unjust and the next minute,  they publicly blame IPOB protesters,  hence they are the cause of their problems.  They are not straightforward with Biafrans. Ohanaeze should relax and stay off the Biafra struggle."

Recall also that Ohanaeze had on June 2016, deliberately misinformed the public that "there are no IPOB detainees in Abia State" while 23 Biafrans arrested at the prayer ground on 9th of February 2016 and released on 11th August 2016 were still in detention.

Ohanaeze also claimed that majority of the Igbos are not in support of Biafra's secession from Nigeria but the sit-at-home protest that was observed across Biafra land on 23rd September 2016, sent a message that Ohanaeze is only representing her usurious ambitions and not the people.

Nnamdi Kanu's incarceration that triggered the Niger Delta Avengers' activities has driven the already failed Nigeria state into economic recession,  political instability,  judicial decay and deeper division (as stated by the United Nations).

Indeed,  Nigeria/Ohanaeze's plan did not work.  Nnamdi Kanu's incarceration has given a thrust to the struggle of Biafra restoration; attempts to use Ohanaeze as negotiators to release Nnamdi Kanu was vain.  Ohanaeze's intention to hijack IPOB through the federal government was forestalled and every move made to discourage agitators has been counter-productive.  IPOB denied Ohanaeze the privilege of being Nnamdi Kanu's 'Messiah'.

What Ohanaeze forgot in the case of Biafra is that she (Ohanaeze) is too insignificant to support or frustrate Biafra's restoration process. Ohanaeze is exclusively an Igbo affair,  by the Igbos and for the Igbos.  It lacks what it takes to determine the fate of a nation with over 8 tribes.

Whatsoever be Ohanaeze's next line of action for demanding Nnamdi Kanu's unconditional release,  IPOB is on the watch; whatever informed the "quick notice" they recently gave to the Fulani herdsmen to vacate Igboland,  it has not erased our impression about them; whatever induced them to condemn Buhari's dictatorial style of leadership and whatever made them to retrace their steps -Biafrans see it as a welcomed idea.

IPOB urges Ohanaeze to ensure they remain in this path of truth, never to sway again.  Ohanaeze should wake up to their duties and live up to their mission and vision which they sold out for naira and kobo.
