12th August 2016
Yesterday, we brought you the breaking news of the release of the Indigenous people of Biafra who were arrested on the 9th of February, 2016 while they were praying for the release of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the National High School Aba by the Nigerian police and military, and detained at Abia state prison.
We are here again bringing to you another joyful Breaking News that all the IPOB incarcerated at Enugu prison have been discharged and acquitted at the orders of the Attorney General of the Federation of Nigeria who in a wonderful display of common sense made it clear to the whole world that Self-determination is not a treasonable felony.
We are using this opportunity to remind the Attorney General that there are hundreds of other Indigenous People of Biafra in Various other detention camps in Onitsha, Aba, and Portharcourt. These are people whose only crime was seeking for sellf-determination of Biafrans. We, therefore, implore the Attorney General to extend this same gesture to all the Biafran political prisoners.
