Information reaching the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) has it that Mr Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, along with other IPOB in Biafra land have been kidnapped by the Nigerian security operatives in the early hours of today 25th August 2016.
Mr Ikechukwu is one of the released Biafrans on the 11th day of August 2016 from the Abia State prisons after the Attorney General of Nigeria ordered for their immediate release.

After his release, Mr Ikechukwu stated that his release will mean nothing to him if the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu is not released from detention and Biafra freed.
This expression did not go down well with the Nigeria security operatives who have been on the search to retreat him.
Reliable source also confirmed that the arrest of the 7 IPOB members at Aba on the 23rd of August 2016, was made in search of Mr Ikechukwu who unfortunately for them, was not among the arrested 7.
IPOB hereby urges these wandering Nigeria security operatives at Aba to hastly provide Mr Ikechukwu and other kidnapped Biafrans along with him or provide an information about their whereabout to avoid the further escalation of an already tensed situation at Aba.
