SHEER HATRED AND ACTS OF COWARDICE BY THE EASTERN GOVERNORS.

BIAFRA:
SHEER HATRED AND ACTS OF COWARDICE  BY THE EASTERN GOVERNORS.

The criminal silence of the eastern governors over the unlawful killings and detentions of unarmed Biafrans and peaceful IPOB protesters is heartbreaking. Also, it is disdainful that leaders who are elected to pilot the affairs of the people, protecting them, providing basic needs and amenities are the ones who turn against the people.

Issues about security seem to be the most perverted one, especially in Biafra land. It is very sad that the people of Biafra are living in fear on a daily basis as these governors have failed woefully in making sure that security for lives and properties is assured. The Hausa-Fulani cum Boko Haram in the guise of Fulani herdsmen have invaded Biafraland and glaringly parading the entire land with assault rifles; AK47 in broad daylight without any resistance or checks by these governors whose sole responsibility is the protection of lives and properties.

It is on record that on 30th August 2015, at Onitsha head bridge, the children of God (Biafrans) were marching in unison evangelising and preaching to the people the gospel of the restoration of Biafra. A blood-sucking governor in the person of Mr. Willie Obiano ordered the Nigerian military and Boko Haram members clad in the military uniform to shoot at these innocent people without provocation. The Nigerian military killed these innocent and peaceful youths that did not commit any crime whatsoever. How can a governor with the mandate to protect lives give such an order to kill the same people that voted him into power? The lives, dreams, and aspirations of these people were cut short on that fateful ''black Sunday'' in Biafraland.

In this evil contraption called Nigeria, the poor masses are being victimised and deprived of their basic human rights on a daily basis and nobody is speaking for them. The so called governors and elected leaders have sold their birthright to their Hausa-Fulani slave masters for just crumbs falling from their master's table. They have forgotten their rights as leaders. Rather, they lobby Aso villa like fools as if the man in there is a saviour. It is very pathetic and disheartening that there is no governor with integrity in Biafraland.

Since the illegal abduction and detention of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, many peaceful protests had been conducted in all countries where the IPOB are registered globally. This has won IPOB a recognition of staging a peaceful protest without destruction of lives and properties. A feat that has never been recorded in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

It is appalling that in a so-called ''democratic Nigeria,'' freedom has been denied and delayed. The truth remains that real democracy cannot work in a place where anarchy is deeply rooted. Democracy in Nigeria is nothing less than a military dictatorship in disguise.

The unforgettable massacre of Biafrans on the 9th of February, 2016 at the National High School in Aba where peaceful protesters were praying still lingers in our hearts. This cowardly act was ordered by Muhammadu Buhari and the governor of Abia State; Okezie Victor Ikpeazu. These blood-thirsty Hausa-Fulani in military uniform invaded the prayer ground, shot sporadically and killed innocent men, women, and children. Their remains were hurriedly buried in shallow graves in Aba and environs. Condemnation of this barbaric act was expected of Ikpeazu. Instead, he chose to praise the people that killed his own kinsmen. What a shame!

REALATED POST:ENUGU MASSACRE: CATHOLIC CHURCH HOLDS PROTEST AGAINST FULANI HERDSMEN ATTACKS

Many atrocities and inhumane treatments have been meted on Biafrans in Biafraland and in Nigeria at large. The governors elected leaders are reluctant and do not care about these. The killings continue unabated. Just recently on the 30th of May 2016 at Eke Nkpor where Biafrans gathered to honour their heroes killed before and during the 1967 genocidal war against peaceful Biafrans by the Nigerian government and her allies. These peaceful Biafrans were as well murdered in their dozens. It begs the question; where have we gone wrong and is it a crime to seek for freedom?

The governors and political leaders from Biafraland should be ashamed as they have made themselves enemies of Biafra and friends of strangers. Freedom is a universal law enshrined in the U.N charter for the rights of indigenous people. Therefore, it is pertinent that the Nigerian government and her allies stop the killing of peaceful people yearning for self-determination.

We, therefore, call for the immediate release of the leader of indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who is a prisoner of conscience and whom two courts of competent jurisdiction have discharged and acquitted.
