NIGERIA, A COUNTRY FILLED WITH VIOLENCE

Violence in Nigeria and its various forms has evolved over the decades. From the use of deadly traditional weapons and charms, it has thus taken a sophisticated dimension in the society i.e political, religious and ethnic/tribal.
The much acclaimed 174 million inhabitants of the most populous country in Africa, Nigeria is notorious for extremely high rates of violent crimes. Annually, approximately 2,000 out of every 100,000 Nigerians are victims of murder, especially the Biafrans.

Similarly, hideous practices like raping, domestic violence and slavery remain a constant thing in that contraption, Nigeria. The political, economic and social instability seen in Nigeria which happens to be Africa’s most populous country is second to none worldwide.
The indigenous people that occupy the south-eastern and the so-called ''south-south'' states are the most affected regions. Recently, the religiously orchestrated killing of Biafrans residing in the northern part of Nigeria by the Hausa/Fulani cum Boko Haram has increased without any measure to check the excesses of these northern murderers by the Nigerian government. The death of roughly 20,000 Christians majorly Biafrans is linked to these blood-thirsty Hausa/Fulanis.

Recently, there has been an increase in the acts of terrorism by these same northerners who are heavily sponsored by the jihadist in the person of Nigeria's president, Mohammadu Buhari. Buhari is a known terrorist, a jihadist and avowed hater of the Biafrans. He was involved in the massacre of Biafrans before and during the genocidal war against the Biafrans by the Nigeria's military government between 1967-1970. Buhari vowed openly in a mass media to continue killing the Biafrans if the opportunity presents itself again.

The latest onslaught on peaceful Biafrans by the dreaded sect known as the ''Fulani herdsmen'' is the empowerment of the Nigerian government in maiming, killing and destruction of Biafrans lands and livelihood.
On the 21st of April, 2016, the whole world saw the invasion of Enugu, in Biafraland by these Fulani herdsmen. These well-planned atrocities left more than 200 people dead, a majority with severe wounds, over 7000 Biafrans displaced and properties worth millions of Naira destroyed and stolen on that fateful day.
The Nigerian Army and the DSS (Department of States services) abduct and kill innocent people at will. A combined team of wicked and deadly Hausa/Fulani men clad in the Nigerian military uniform on many occasions shot sporadically at peaceful Biafrans that were protesting the illegal detention of our leader Nnamdi Kanu.

The unlawful killings of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) members without any confrontation and or provocation is what we shall forever remember. Nigerians hated Nnamdi Kanu for speaking the truth even if it will lead to his death. In which society can people be randomly and illegally abducted, detained and killed just for yearning for freedom?
The resurgence of the quest for the restoration of Biafra is what the Nigerian government failed thus far to comprehend and accept. Is it not obvious now that Biafrans are not fearful of incarceration, torture, and death again? Nigeria has forced injustice down the throats of Nigerians, but they cannot for Biafrans to forfeit their freedom even under the barrel of the gun.
The Biafrans are tired of living in a country filled with terror, insecurity of lives and properties, decrepit system, greed, jealousy, irregular power supply, poverty, child labour and all sort of anti-human behaviours inherent in the sect of people that believed it is their right to rule over other humans.

Biafrans cannot continue to live with people that cannot harness their talents to develop. Vast natural resources found in Nigeria are all located in Biafraland. Because of all these social vices and inhumane lifestyles of the leaders of Nigeria, the Biafrans instead opt for self-determination which will bring an end to the marginalization and servitude meted on Biafrans.
Conclusively, it is important to state that there is no amount of threat, detention, abduction and death that will deter the genuine Biafrans worldwide in seeking their rights to self-determination.
Our oath of allegiance is to our dear nation Biafra and to our creator Chukwuokikeabiama. Every other persons or group of people are inconsequential. It is a pledge to ensure that sooner, the Biafran flag will be recognised and Biafra will be a beacon of hope and determination to many nations of the world. All hail Biafra!
