There’s no other ethnic group in Nigeria that has lived up to the creed of one-Nigeria. Since the amalgamation of Nigeria, Biafrans have committed themselves to living what other nations that made up Nigeria lips, and contributed the most towards developing every nook and cranny of Nigeria even when not welcomed. Their properties are being destroyed, they are chased and killed persistently, but they still find a place in their hearts to forgive and let go of the memory of the evil perpetrated against them and are continually dedicated to building Nigeria without posing a threat to their oppressors.
Biafrans are known for their friendliness and for coexisting peacefully in their host communities, hence, they have lived for decades in all parts of Nigeria without being found wanton in any acts of savagery. This makes it very easy for them to acquire landed properties wherever they find themselves.

In contrast, Fulani herdsmen who of recent began to show the Nigerianess in them, have not in anyway lived in harmony with their host communities. From destruction of their host’s source of livelihood (farmlands), to forceful abduction, raping and killing of women. They also go as far as killing innocent farmers in their farmlands.
These unchecked acts of ruthlessness has metamorphosed into full terrorism, aided and sponsored by government which happens to be occupied by the same people, while the perpetrators are still being pampered to breed ethnic chaos. How do we then entrust our whole community in the hands of those who have maimed and killed us even at our doorsteps? The creator of life deposited in every living soul the ability and consciousness to resist danger and avoidable deaths when it is in our power to do so, anyone who does not act in accordance with this consciousness, is seen as an insane person.

We should therefore rise and chase the marauders and harbingers of death out of our cherished and blessed lands which abhors spilling of the blood of the innocent. The only way to achieve this is to withhold our lands irrespective of any government’s deceptive antics to take them or irrespective of the person who approves the Grazing Bill without the consent of the people.
