FG ORDERED ALL MEDIA HOUSES TO CONCEAL THE MAJOR DEMAND OF NIGER DELTA AVENGERS-REPORT

The quest to disclose the truth to the public will never stop; and the major blow Nnamdi Kanu gave Nigeria was disclosing a deceit of over 65years. Biafra land was divided through imposition of geographically impossible Southsouth, this however caused a notable division in Biafra. Despite that oil is found in almost all the states of Biafra, they have tried to differentiate us with oil. While Imo is oil producing state, Abia and Anambra with exclusion of Abakiliki and Enugu that are endowed with other natural resources, they have continued to push for a division.
Nnamdi Kanu won the award of the great liberator of the people of Biafra; he is a man that never raised a stick let alone guns and bombs. The people were liberated with words of truth and that feat has accrued sympathy to his cause. Nothing can attract the people and hold them so long on a cause if not truth. the people of Biafra has been consistent and resolute in their pursuit for a sovereign nation, despite efforts from Nigeria to lobby, compromise or break Nnamdi Kanu, he has proved stubborn to his cause. It was once reported that a DSS personnel said he has never seen such a staunch believer of his cause like Kanu; no matter what you do or say to him, he keeps saying is “Biafra or death”.

On 15th of October last year, Nnamdi Kanu was arrested en-route to Biafra land, after his arrest that sparked protest across the ten states of Biafra and subsequently, the combined forces of Nigerian Army, Navy and police launched attack against lawful and peaceful Biafra activists that had carried placards to register their anger and in demand for the unconditional release of their leader. This attack was sustained and lead to the death of hundreds of Biafrans. The attack extended to arresting and executing injured victims from the various hospitals they were taken to but that never affected the push for the unconditional release of Kanu and restoration of Biafra.

Months after, Niger Delta militants lead by one General Ben who also is the spokesman of the group gave the federal government ultimatum to unconditionally release Nnamdi Kanu with other conditions that followed. Upon the expiration of this ultimatum that lasted 31days, hostility commenced across the Niger part of Biafra and up till date, it has gone unabated. Few months later, the dreaded but peaceful Niger Delta Avengers surfaced, their mission is to bring oil export to zero without shedding any blood and their demand was the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu. Other militants that surfaced all demanded the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu.

In an effort to narrow the condition for an end to hostility, the militants openly said that Nnamdi Kanu would be their chief negotiator when FG pressed for negotiation but Buhari paid deaf ears to that and media suppressed the news. The militants went as far as speaking on a live radio Biafra program that Buhari should not come to Niger Delta to buttress the fact that hostility across the Niger is as a result of continued incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu but FG and her press feigned ignorance of that fact. Recently, the militants released a video with Biafra flag hoisted and threatened the family of Buhari if he doesn’t release Nnamdi Kanu. They have yet feigned ignorance of that; this however prompted this independent investigation by Ifeanyi Chijioke.
Ifeanyi Chijioke can reliably report that Buhari ordered media houses to play down the major demand of Niger Delta Avengers. I previously released a report of how the FG paid media houses to stop carrying Biafra news, sufficient money was disbursed but due to Biafra news is what cannot be overlooked; it has not been effective to stop carrying news concerning Biafra. There has been direct action, where soldiers tried to start seizing newspapers with Biafra headline and news, but that could not solve the puzzle as it would only add fuel to the flame.

Speaking on the order, a high government official compromised to confide in Ifeanyi Chijioke but strictly pleaded on no condition should ‘the’ name be in print or mentioned anywhere. “I can authoritatively tell you that there is a kind of order, this is not a direct order but it was conveyed in a patriotic form. The government is insincere to itself, self deceit is destroying everything, and you have to be sincere to yourself. This insincerity is behind the reason militancy cannot stop in that part of Nigeria. We have to admit the reason youths are bombing oil installations and this bombing started after Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, Kanu is the reason Niger Delta Avengers are fighting us and this will never stop until we admit the reason” he said.
Speaking on the position of the press, ‘THE’ regretted that such things are happening in Nigeria when Nigeria needs truth to survive “I personally regret it but the press have no option, they cannot help to divide Nigeria. FG made it clear that promoting the major demand of the militants won’t help the country, they want the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu, and they are fighting because of the injustice meted on Kanu.

If you assess the situation, you will see that the militants are right; they are doing what peaceful protesters cannot do, giving the right balance. FG got it wrong by arresting Nnamdi Kanu which worsened the situation; militants are demanding his release and would definitely have support of the people and the world at large”
When Ifeanyi Chijioke contacted a reliable source to Niger Delta militants, he was pleased that I embarked on the investigation. “The problem is insincerity, if we can be sincere, this whole thing will end. We the militants are Biafran people and we have one mission, Nnamdi Kanu and Biafra restoration, it is sad that Nigerian press chose to hide our major demand, they have said we want money, they said we want Niger Delta republic, they said we want oil blocs and they said we want 95% without mentioning what we really wanted. We want the release of Nnamdi Kanu, we are aware that there is no other way he would be released if not getting rid of pipelines. If they choose to hold him, which is their decision as we shall continue getting rid of pipelines till no one is left. If they want peace, let them release Nnamdi Kanu and we can talk”

On the same note my source noted that they won’t be intimidated into being in a frame they don’t want “They want us to declare that we are IPOB members so they would have a reason to justify their onslaught. So they can start open execution and massacre of Biafrans on condition that they are militants and terrorists. They are stupid and thoughtless, we are Niger Delta militants and Niger Delta is Biafra territory, we are freedom fighters fighting for our nation-Biafra. Nnamdi Kanu is the leader of the people of Biafra; we have chosen to fight with arms just as IPOB chose to fight without arms. If they want they should release Kanu, if they don’t want, they should hold him and suffer our actions” he concluded.
