THE AVENGERS ARE FIGHTING A JUST CAUSE:BUHARI SHOULD OBEY!

From all indications, and with all sincerity, the activities of the Niger Delta Avengers - NDA, although may have seriously affected the people of Niger Delta region as a result of the spillage that follows after these facilities are destroyed. The destruction of our own environment, the land precisely, and the pollution of water and air is very dangerous for human life, but either way it is said that one thing must surely kill a man. In Nigeria it is either poverty kills you, or environmental pollution. However, the Niger Delta Avengers may have considered the federal government's neglect on the region and conclude that destruction of the oil pipelines is the only solution, afterall we destroy to build ultra modern structure.

Therefore concluding that the NDA is fighting a good fight is not be a bad idea. The Nigerian government have failed woefully in tackling the issues of the Niger Delta region. Lack of infrastructural development, including human and capital development. Since the use of peaceful platform and a round table discussion is not achievable, the use of violence is no doubt the best option to which the Nigerian government and the world will give a listening ear.

No doubt that within the last few weeks, the activities of the NDA has adversely affected the country with more damages. However, looking at the positive objectives of these activities, one would no doubt, agree that they’re fighting for justice. It will be unwise for the world to conclude on how violent these people are without first, looking at their grievances. The people of the so called Niger Delta region of Biafra, have suffered too much neglect since the discovery of oil in the area.

The Biafra region is producing the only resources on which the country depends till date. The basic social amenities like good roads, steady electricity, good affordable hospitals and good water supply has intentionally been denied these people for many years and therefore any act of violence by these people should not be condemned. Obviously, this group has given out some conditions for which they'll lay down their arms, yet the federal government of Nigeria has turned a deaf ear to these demands.

This goes to show the deliberate vicious neglect and subjugation of the golden goose that lays the golden eggs in Nigeria. It will be better to suffer and endure the hardship now, since we have been suffering for many years, so we can achieve a lasting solution to the suffering, than to continue to cry out for peace while we remain in more sufferings and marginalization. The critics of this great group called the NDA, should be reminded that Nigerian government will never give attention to any peaceful process unless violence is employed.

Therefore all indigenous people in the Niger Delta region, should join hands together to support the struggle and to persuade the federal government to let Biafra go. Freedom for the Niger Delta is freedom for all Biafrans.
