BREAKING: EXPLOSION ROCKS CHEVRON PIPELINE: WE WILL NOT NEGOTIATE SAYS THE AVENGERS

The Niger Delta Avengers has reiterated their stance that there is no ongoing negotiation between them and the federal government of Nigeria by bombing Chevron oil facility in Warri Delta state in the early hours of today the 8th of June, 2016.

In a tweet message released an hour ago it read thus:
"At 1:00am today, the @NDAvengers blow up Well RMP 20 belonging to Chevron located 20 meters away from Dibi flow Stattion in Warri North LGA."

In a follow up tweet message after the attack on Chevron pipeline they had this to say  "This is to the Gen. public we're not negotiating with any Committee. if Fed Govt is discussing wth any group they're doing that on their own."

This is a clear indication that the federal government of Nigeria has been lying to the public about an ongoing negotiation with the group two days ago. The activities of the Avengers has seen oil production drop to 1.3m barrel per day according to Ibe Kachikwu the petroleum minister today.

Kachikwu said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that the export level was negatively affecting the 60 per cent to 40 per cent Joint Venture agreement of the Federal Government.
He said peace in the Niger Delta was necessary to get things back to normal in the country. He further urged the millitants to have an open mind and dialogue with the federal government.

But the Avengers has vowed that unless their demands are met, which include the release of Nnamdi Kanu and every other political prisoners extra-judiciously held by Buhari are freed as ordered by the courts, there will be no negotiation and bombings will never cease. The Avengers mission still remain-zero oil production.
