Ogbonnaya Onu should cover his face in shame for coming out to give a moronic and imbecilic advice to the grieving hearts of Biafran men and women while the sultan and northern governors quickly came to the defense of their Fulani murderous kinsmen who murdered our people? One will be forced to ask why the victims of a massacre should be the one on the apologetic stance while the villains are being applauded by their kinsmen. Is anything wrong with the mentality of our leaders and politicians?
Why is the continued massacre of our people not enough reason for our leaders to ask these "killer visitors" to leave, rather they are standing against the youths who wants the killers of our mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters to leave? What is wrong with our leaders? While our leaders are busy blaming our people for demanding the exit of all Hausa-Fulani murderers in our midst, the Hausa-Fulani elders of the north are busy planning more invasion by these Herdsmen terrorists of Biafra land.
The Nigeria government opted for the importation of grasses for the herdsmen instead of having to graze their stocks in our farm, but Ogbonnaya Onu preferred the grazing of the Hausa-Fulani cattle in our farms which have always resulted in clashes between these herdsmen and the farming communities. The question that will never cease to come from our mouths is, why are our leaders insensitive to the plights of our people?

Do you, Ogbonnaya Onu sincerely wish for us to patiently look away while the labours of our hands are eaten up by cattle, and must we let our children starve again ? Is it really your will to please the Fulani-Hausa regime for position and peanuts by enslaving your kinsmen to them?
Why have you proven to be a sellout and unworthy of our heritage? You must begin now to seek refuge in your new acquired family because there is no place for traitors in Biafra land.
When you became the first Abia state governor in 1992, I admired your efforts and commended your achievements such as...Using the Abia Dream as a philosophy to mobilize the people of the State to achieve excellence in all spheres of human endeavour. Dr. Onu, founded the Abia State Polytechnic at Aba. He also established the College of Technical Education in Arochukwu and attracted the Michael Okpara Federal University of Agriculture at Umudike, near Umuahia. In addition, Dr. Onu established the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State as well as the National Ambassador Newspapers, which then won several awards as the best State-owned Newspaper in Nigeria. As a God fearing leader, he christened Abia “God’s Own State” and symbolized his noble dream for the State by building the ‘Abia Tower of Peace’, which has today become the known symbol of the State.
I admired your previous accomplishments but your love for one Nigeria is blurring your attempts to unify a decayed nation.
I know that Dr. Onu is a resolute believer in Nigeria’s unity as an instrument for national integration and development. As Governor, he abolished the 'State of Origin Syndrome' in Abia State and led the way in appointing non-indigenes of the State into top positions of responsibility in his Administration.
This is no longer the time for such practice. Wake up!
