Right to self-determination is enshrined in the international law and it is guaranteed by every moral stricture known to man. It is a right that has been exercised successfully over the world history and it has led to the creation of new nations which were carved out of older ones.
The denial of that right and the suppression and persecution of those who attempt to exercise it leads to defiance, dissent and resistance and, if not properly handled could lead to war and carnage.
This has been the primary cause of most of history’s most brutal civil wars, including Nigeria, Russian , American etc . Biafrans do not believe in violent change and neither do we believe in war, revolution, terror or the use of arms in the pursuance of even the most noble cause "BIAFRA". We do however believe in the power of ideas and the right of any man, woman or people to agitate to be free from bondage and to peacefully and freely express that agitation.

Those that believe in Nigeria have every right to continue to do so and to voice their resolve to keep Nigeria one. But they do not have the right to refuse and offer the same degree of freedom of expression to those that do not believe in a united Nigeria (Biafrans).
Alex Salmon led the Scottish secession, the agitation for the dissolution of the United Kingdom and for the establishment of Scottish independence, he was not charged to court for treason, locked up indefinitely or murdered by the British authorities but instead they were eventually given the opportunity to participate in a referendum. The same thing happened in the Catalan region of Spain, East Timor, Georgia etc.
Unfortunately Buhari, the ex-coup plotter refused to learn from those civilized countries mentioned. He thought torture and illegal incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous people of Biafra, the murder of innocent Biafrans and the vicious suppression was the right way of going about it, little did he know that it led to nothing but hardened our hearts.
Only the callous would deny the fact that Biafrans have suffered immeasurably in the Nigerian Federation for years. Only the uninformed would deny the fact that Biafrans have been butchered, murdered, persecuted, broken, humiliated, insulted, cheated and treated with contempt and disdain more than any other ethnic group in the country since Nigeria got her Independence.
What the Nigerian state is confronted with in the new generation of Biafrans who refuse to be cowed is a time-bomb. Unlike our fathers they cannot be appeased or intimidated. Biafrans are not fearful of the prospect of a second civil war. Biafrans are not prepared to settle for crumbs and neither do we fear death, conflict, defeat, incarceration, butchery or persecution.

We are imbued with a spirit that cannot be suppressed. And the more we cry ”Biafra”, the more the spirits of 3.5 million souls that were slaughtered on the Biafran side during the civil war by Hitler Buhari and his cohorts are invoked. The more we cry ”Biafra”, the more the souls of the hundreds of thousands of Biafrans, men and women, innocent children that were butchered in cold blood during the Nigeria/Biafra war by Buhari and his men in 1967-1970 come alive. And the more we cry ”Biafra”, the more Biafrans remember how their fathers were stripped of everything they had after the civil war and how they have been denied the opportunity to rise to the highest office in the land. Buhari administration regard our kith and kin as nothing more than third class citizens and a bunch of born-to-serves - Serfs, as matter of fact! .
Biafrans are tired of that damnable entity of darkness called nigeria, we refuse to be enslaved, Biafrans want a brighter future for our children and yet unborn. Emperor Muhammadu Buhari, do not underestimate the strength, the tenacity, the resoluteness of Biafrans. Remember, this is not the #ClassOf1967, this is the #ClassOf2016. You can only kill the flesh, not the spirit. For all the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea, in which case, Biafra - whose time has come. Nothing can stop it! Nothing can stop Biafra!!
The more you detain Biafrans in prison, the more we will rise up. The more you mock us, the more we will shout. The more you kill us the more we expose you and our anger linger on. The more you deny us our self determination, the more we cry out to the world and became stronger. The more you treat us like trash, the more we expose you. The more you treat us like slaves, the more we disintegrate and seek to break off and take destiny into our hands.
Biafra restoration is certain and unstoppable. Nnamdi Kanu must be free, and Biafra must be restored!
