BIAFRA RESTORATION:THE CURSE CALLED NIGERIA AND ITS END

The contraption called Nigeria was founded on deception, kept on with the tool of deception and poises to be destroyed by the same tool that founded and kept her. Before the notorious 1914 unholy matrimony (amalgamation) of widely separated people, many kingdoms, nation states were independently existing within the area known today as Nigeria. Among these various nation is Biafra that academias acknowledged her existence and flourished before Nigeria state.

Subtly with the tools of Commerce and Christianity, the Liberal and republican Biafrans were lured into the worst political chemistry called Nigeria by Britain. Biafrans not knowing the evil and satanic tendencies inherent in Britain and illiterate Hausa/Fulani people, allowed the trend to flow just for peace they never got from these elements. From 1914 till now, all efforts of Britain and her stooges in Hausa/Fulani clan were targeted at dividing Biafrans through deception.

The bold step of unleashing this deceptive tool on Biafrans was the 1958 Willink Commission which was instituted to divide Biafrans with the majority/minority junk. Like the conspiracy theory, the junk of ethnic majority/minority succeeded in infusing fear of dominance among the Ikwerre, Ijaw, Ibibio, Anang, Ogoni, etc. this tool ended up balkanising Biafrans while the North and West were intact with united front despite heterogeneousness of its people.

No one set up like willink commission in the North nor West despite their obvious differences. They told the non-Igbo Biafrans that their brothers (the Igbos) are their problem and lured some of them into fighting with them during the civil war.  The war ended with most of them compensated with their brethren’s assets (abandoned properties).  For fear of not relegating the booties, the non-Igbo Biafrans worked assiduously during the post war era not to see the resuscitation of Biafra, while their Igbo brethren were piled up with anger against their brothers. That is how devastating the deception and division were!

Surprisingly, while some non-igbo Biafrans were chasing few house rent monies, their oil resources at their back yards were allotted to those from core Hausa/Fulani clans. Those from middle belt were stupidly used as foot soldiers during the civil war and abandoned at the time of booty sharing. While they gave the abandoned properties to non-Igbo Biafrans as their share of the war booty, their oil resources were shared to the Hausa/Fulanis as their share of the war booty.

They never saw only Igbo Biafrans as the defeated ones, rather any part that falls within the Biafran territory they considered vanquished eventhough Gowon came up with the popular song of "No victor No vanquished." So the oil in the so called Niger delta is a war booty as well. We have realised our mistakes as Biafrans and we are saying a big NO to their deception. We are not south south or south east, we are Biafrans.

Today, the spell has been neutralised courtesy Nnamdi Kanu and Biafrans irrespective of language and clan have risen to take their freedom. Lies and deception which are embedded in the DNA of Nigeria cannot last forever. All we ask for is not “resource control”, “presidency”, or “second niger bridge”, rather we all unanimously ask for “SOVEREIGN STATE OF BIAFRA”. IPOB has said it, Avengers are saying it, and even Egbesu is equally saying so. It is highly risky for anyone to think that Biafrans are still divided!
