BIAFRA: LIKE A WILDFIRE THAT WILL CONSUME BUHARI AND THE LUGARDIAN ENTERPRISE-NIGERIA

Biafra was the epicenter of one of the largest African conflicts of the twentieth century, but tension remains high even today. The clash between the population of Biafra who is fighting for self-determination of the independent Republic of Biafra and the Nigerian central government arose from the desire to restore a nation (Biafra) which will first brake the artificial boundaries established in the era of colonialism by British.

The case of Biafra had a considerable media and Social media coverage, such as to attract the attention of many activists, especially in the US and Europe, asking for intervention to put an end to an inhuman situation comparable to the brutality lived in Europe during the Second World war.

Biafra is a nation inhabited various ethnic groups, modernized and economically independent, and are predominantly Christian religion. Biafra is the richest Nation in Africa if not in the whole wide World, as well as one in which concentrates the majority of mineral resources (Gas, Coal, Iron, Lead, Zinc), without considering that the amount of oil present in Biafraland represent at least more than two-thirds of the total Nigerian oil. Even before the declaration of independence in May 1967, the Biafrans were victims of a massacre in the north of Nigeria, a poor area, predominantly Muslim and inhabited by the Hausa-Fulanis ethnic group.

Since the arrest of Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra/Biafra TV, the central government of Nigeria have decided to stop every means available to the secession, media blockade, isolating the Biafran area with an economic embargo, causing hunger, poverty and sending thousands of Hausa-Fulani terrorist Herdsmen Janjaweed to Biafraland such as to cause the death of thousands of innocent Biafrans. The majority of the massacre are women and children.

Almost 50 years after the civil war, conflict and unrest between ethnic groups still exist, and the Nigerian reality is always very complicated. Today, the country is going through a period of acute tension. First, mainly because of the crisis that erupted with the rise of the terrorist group Boko Haram jihadist sposored by Muhammadu Hitler Buhari, whose main objective is to establish an Islamic caliphate all over Africa including Biafraland. It is noted that, since 2000, in Nigeria Islamic law is already in effect in 12 states (of 36), particularly among the populations of the Northern ethnic groups.

In conclusion, if the amplified feedback over time and the feelings of the Biafran people will not be taken into account, Nigeria will soon fall into the outbreak of another crisis and civil war. Certainly the Buhari Administration is not committed to the destruction of Jihadist terrorist such as Boko Haram and Fulani Herdsmen Janjaweed. The International community and UN must rise and quell the already fragile situation in Nigeria to avoid a possible refugee crisis.

The world must come to terms with the fact that Biafra is a wildfire that is unquenchable, the more the tyrannical government of Buhari tries to quench it, the wider and farther it spreads. Holding Nnamdi kanu hostage via unscrupulous judges in Nigeria will never deter Biafrans. Remember, an ideology cannot be killed and Biafra is beyond that. There are millions of Nnamdi Kanu all over the world who are thirsty for freedom, and this time around they are all ready to die as long as Biafra is restored.
