BIAFRA:
THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!
It is disheartening that even in our villages in Biafra land Fulani herdsmen are everywhere causing pain and mayhem. Refugees from Benue are also all over the village seeking for solace and jobs. I was amazed when I got to my village and saw these young men with hoes, seeking menial jobs and my enquiries revealed that they escaped massacre from Fulani herdsmen who invaded their lands and murdered their kinsmen.
I also found out that these same herdsmen had recently shot people twice and raped a lady in my village. I was informed that they usually give stiff resistance and ensure that their animals destroyed the crops they laboured to sow.
It was a confirmed fact that these herdsmen flooded the villages by July, the seventh month and stole the farmers harvest. Up till now, the state government has not done anything about this looming danger.

Why have matters remained so neglected in Biafra land? Why have our people become suddenly cold? Why is fear reigning in the hearts of Biafrans? It is disheartening to see the amount of fear in the minds of the people in Biafra land due to the advancement of these Fulani herdsmen. People are even afraid to mention the freedom struggle for fear of being killed. Too bad. I had to hold seminar sessions educating the people on the Biafran history and basis of agitation.
There are so many army checkpoints everywhere, with fully armed uniformed military men on guard in Biafra land. Why is this so? Is Biafra land a borderland with an enemy country and or is there any war happening anywhere in Biafra land? Why all these checkpoints? Where are the policemen? What are the soldiers doing outside of their barracks in a democracy?
The evidence of neglect is predominant in Biafra land. All the roads are very bad and full of potholes. Many say the leaders are the cause of the decay and that is true. As I write now, I can see Fulani herdsmen heading inwards into the heart of Biafra land. I cannot stop pondering why they cannot respect other people. Since Muhammadu Buhari, the Nigerian president came to power, bloodshed has become a norm in the nation.

All these killers serially kill with impunity whilst the innocent are locked away for daring to expose truths which will liberate many from misconceptions in a contraption of falsehood. Boko haram, Fulani herdsmen, Nigerian military personnel and police force have wasted thousands of innocent lives without cogent reasons while the uncaring government mutely watches. No one has either been arrested, prosecuted or convicted.
The sole aim of this government is to suppress the truth by illegally arresting and detaining the director of Radio Biafra and leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is a prisoner of conscience. He has been severally denied bail against several judges' verdict while, presently, confused judge TSOHO does not know what to do. He has taken a bribe to jail Nnamdi Kanu to suit his paymaster Buhari. But that is a mission impossible.
Can he achieve this tall dream when there is no evidence to convict him?
We all wait to see.
