MORE VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS: DICTATOR BUHARI BANS NIGERIAN NEWSPAPERS AND TV NOT TO REPORT BIAFRAN NEWS

There are many ways by which human rights can also be violated. When the government trespass the powers it has and also when the citizens of a country are being treated forcefully, and stopped by the government from expressing their feelings, airing their opinions and sharing their bad experiences, such is known as violation of human rights. Some of the basic and fundamental human rights as it is generally acceptable :-

1. Freedom of expression: In freedom of expression anybody is entitled to speak and protest against any oppression by the government.

2. Freedom of worship: Any individual has their right to choose the kind of religion he/she wishes to adhere to.

3. Right to self-determination: In this, people have their special right to determine the kind of government they want to have and are also entitled to "secede" from a particular government in accordance with the UN charter on self determination.

The essence of having these human rights is to maintain the sense of equity in humanity and also to protect the lives of the oppressed from the oppressors.

It is very disheartening that the Nigeria government under the tyranny of a former millitary junta, Muhammadu Buhari, has totally violated all the above human rights against the so called Nigerian citizens and Biafrans. There have been many efforts by Nigeria Government to destabilize all the legal approach made so far by the Indigenous People of Biafra in attaining freedom from the Nigerian government. It is a big dismay that in all these atrocities going on against Biafra, those organizations that enforces human rights have turned deaf ears to their groaning.

Despite the killings and mayhem the government of Nigeria is visiting on the indigenous people of Biafra who are determined to exercise their right to self-determination, the government has now begun another sacrilegious way of blocking their cries from being heard. Few months ago the Nigerian army  stormed Aba and raided the Newspaper stands, confiscated all the Newspapers that reported about Biafra and also threatened the vendors not to sell any newspapers that reports Biafra any more.

As this violations are taking place, the government of Nigeria have gone a step further to raise their evil standard against freedom of press, they have now mandated all the Nigerian newspapers, Radio and TV stations not to report/carry any news that involves Biafra and Biafrans. Recently we noticed also that Nigeria government have succeeded in bribing Google and other top media houses who carry  information about Biafra to censor such information.

This is aimed at ensuring total media blockade on Biafra so that the world will ignore their cries.
If the world government can be silent about these violations on humanity which is going on in Nigeria it means that the Right to Life as enshrined in the United Nations Charter is a charade. Nevertheless, we want to make it clear that Buhari may have succeeded in gagging these media houses forcefully, but he cannot stop Biafrans from using the power of its vociferous media to destroy the fraudulent Lugardian Enterprise called Nigeria.
