Some of the characteristics of justice are conformity to truth, facts or reasons. As far as tranquility is concerned, Justice is paramount. Justice has no respect for anyone no matter who one is, where one comes from or the position one occupies. Wherever there’s justice, there's no partiality nor oppression and justice is made to be as crisp as crystal and above all, Justice is the hope of the oppressed.
Justice can be handled by anyone but can only be given by one state of mind – clear conscience. When a judge who should handle justice, has an impure mind to grant justice, he is liable to jeopardize the right of the oppressed. In Nigeria, no one understood vividly the extent of the decay in Nigeria’s judicial system and the recklessness that characterized the Nigerian government until it trampled on a freedom fighter - Kanu.

Clearly and with verifiable evidences, Nigeria made its law enforcement agencies only for the purpose of subjugating those who have no voice and the judiciary is compromised, hence cannot stand against the oppressors. I have never heard in the past where justice is prioritized over wealth in Nigeria. The system is prejudiced as a result of bribery and corruption.
For instance, Justice John Tsoho who is currently presiding over the case of Nnamdi Kanu attempted to start with a clear conscience after other judges had excused themselves from the case, but because he was bribed, he is now passing a frivolous judgement and has totally messed up his profession. Tsoho’s new approach to grant justice to Nnamdi Kanu is nothing but peril. I question what he will come up with on the 5th of April 2016, as his judgement lacks integrity.
As we are protesting against the tyranny in the Nigerian government, we should also give credence to the compromised stance of judges like Tsoho who obviously, is the stumbling block against justice. People have to realize that one’s silence over evil today, creates a bigger chance for one’s encounter of same evil tomorrow.
