APPEAL COURT UPDATE:
BIAFRA WRITERS...Reporting Live from Abuja, 10th March, 2016
The Federal Court of Appeal presided over by Justice Moore Adume commenced hearing on the appeal application filed on the 8th of March, 2016 by the counsel to Nnamdi Kanu this morning as early as 9.23am and the lead counsel Barrister Chuks Muoma(SAN) is in the Court to defend the appeal. He pleaded for Nnamdi Kanu's case with Federal Government be transferred to the another court, as it was certain he won't receive fair hearing with Justice John Tsoho in charge. Justice John Tsoho has shown all evidence of compromise by reversing his previous ruling and admitting francophone legal system not practiced in Nigeria legal system to be applied in the prosecution.
The team ably represented by Barristers...B.I Udeh, I.C Onukwuba, K.C Nnagbo and U.C Ndubuisi were introduced by Bar. Muoma [SAN]. After stating their desire to withdraw the case from the Federal High Court presided by John Tsoho, the presiding judge adjourned further hearing till 25th of April 2016. The hearing lasted for about 20 minutes.
Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor one of the counsels to Nnamdi Kanu granted an interview to Biafra Writers and Biafra TV crew after the court session. We shall be bringing you full details of the interview in our subsequent publications
