Nigeria’s ormer President Goodluck Jonathan visited the presidential villa on Monday, November 2, 2015 where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The purpose of the meeting which lasted for less than 10 minutes remains a secret.
The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, when asked why Jonathan made this second visit to Buhari, said the former President was free to visit his former residence anytime he wants.
This is Jonathan’s second visit to the villa since he handed over to the incumbent government.
Jonathan arrived the villa at 2pm and left less than 10minutes later without saying a word to the press.
When asked the purpose for the visit, Adesina kept his answer simple, he said “he has the right to visit the villa anytime as a former president.”
